NAAK KI COSMETIC SURGERY KA HUKM
Kiya woh shakhs jis ki naak barhi ho aur is mein thori si kharabi ho, woh qabil e deed nazar asney kay liye operation kara sakta hai ?
Jawab:
Alhamdulillah
Cosmatic surgery kay baarey mein hidayat :
Agar yeh khoobsurti aur khoobsurti ko badhaaney kay liye ho to haraam hai, lekin agar kisi aiyeb yaa kharabi ko door karney kay liye ho to jayez hai .
Aap sawal number ( 47694 ) ka jawab mulahiza farmaen, jis mein hum ne kaha :
Agar naak mein koi kharabi hai aur operation ka maqsad is kharabi ko door karna hai to is mein koi harj nahi .
Lekin agar maqsad husn ko barhana ho to surgery karana jayez nahi .
Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (25/59) mein hai : Merey aik dost ne Allah Ta’ala ki madad se shadi kar li, is kay liye hamd hai, lekin woh merey paas aya aur kaha :
Meri biwi apne chehrey aur seeney ki cosmatic surgery karwana chahti hai, kiyon ke is ki naak barhi aur chorhee hai aur woh jadeed adwiyaat mein tayyar kiye gaye asaan tareeqon se ussey kam karna chahti hai. Mein ne is se kaha ke is mein kuch shak hai ke yeh surgery jayez hai yaa nahi. To mein yeh khat is sawal kay saath bhaij raha hoon :
Kiya is surgery mein koi shak yaa gunah shaamil hai jo merey dost ki biwi karney jaa rahi hai.
Barah e karam note karein ke surgery Allah Ta’ala ki takhleeq ko tabdeel kar rahi hai aur aisa na karna nafsiyati pareshani ka bayes ban sakta hai kiyon ke yeh aiyeb is kay chehray mein numayaan hai .
Jawab : Agar yeh soorat e haal jaisa ke bayan kiya gaya hai, aur yeh umeed ho ke operation kamyaab ho jaye ga aur is se ziyada yaa masawi nuqsaan nahi ho ga, to matlooba mufaad kay husool ke liye aisa karna jayez hai, warna jayez nahi .
Aur Allah Ta’ala taaqat ka sarchashmah hai. Allah Ta’ala hamaray Nabi Muhammad (ﷺ) aur un ki all aur sahaba e kiraam par durood o salam bhejey .

Ruling on cosmetic surgery for the nose
Question
Can a person who has a large nose and a bit of deformities have an opperation in order to look presentable?.
Answer
Praise be to Allah.
Guidelines on cosmetic surgery: if it is for the purpose of beautification and to increase beauty, then it is haraam, but if it is to remove a fault or deformity, then it is permissible.
See the answer to question number 47694, in which we said:
If there is a fault or deformity in the nose, and the aim of the surgery is to remove this fault, then there is nothing wrong with it.
But if the aim is to increase beauty, it is not permissible to do the surgery.
It says in Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (25/59): One of my friends has gotten married with Allaah’s help, to Him be praise, but he came to me and said:
My wife wants to have cosmetic surgery on her face and chest, because her nose is large and wide and she wants to reduce it by the easy means that have been developed in modern medicine. I told him that there is some doubt as to whether this surgery is permissible. So I am sending this letter with this question: is there any doubt or sin involved in this surgery that my friend’s wife is going to do? Please note that the surgery is changing the creation of Allaah and that not doing it may lead to psychological distress because this fault is prominent in her face.
Answer: if this situation is as described, and there is the hope that the surgery will be successful and will not lead to any greater or equal harm, it is permissible to do it in order to achieve interest sought, otherwise it is not permissible.
