Isi tarah hum yahoodiyat aur budhmat ki taraf dekhte hain, Kya unke haan aisi naswas hain jo aurat ko maarne ko Haram qaraar deti hon?yaqeenan kisi bhi mazhab mein aisi koi Deeni naswas mojood nahin hain jo biwyon ko maarne ko Haram qaraar deti hon siwaye Islam ke.
Yahan tak ke agar biwi ko maarne ka mamla Haram ke darje se nikaal kar mukarwa ki sif hain lakhara kiya jaye tab bhi Islam woh waahid mazhab hai jisne aurton ko maarne ko napasand kiya hai, Aur usse mukarwa qaraar diya hai. Jahan tak baqi mazahib ka mamla hai to unhon ne mutalqa zikar hi nahin kiya, Na tehreem ke tor par aur na karaahat ke tor par.
Isi tarah Islam ke ilaawa kisi bhi mazhab ne aurat ko maarne ke zawaabat aur hadood muqarar nahin kiye, Baalfaz deegar agar ek eesayi shohar kisi waqt khud par ikhtiyaar kho bethe aur biwi ko maare to konse zaabte aur haden hain jin se tajawaz na kare?
Kya nisrani shohar ke liye kuch hadood muqarar hain ke biwi ke chehre ko na maare ya uske jism par maarne ka koi nishaan na chore?yaqeenan aisa nahin hai.
Agar koi is haqeeqat par ghor kare jis mein hum jee rahe hain ke yahan musalmaanon ke ilaawa yahoodiyon eesaiyon aur deegar mazahib ke perokaaron ke record number hain jo apni biwyon ko maarte hain.
Aap khud Americi aur yourpi adaalaton mein police ke record aur maqdamaat dekhen, Aapko aise shoharon ki ghair mamooli tedaad mile gi jo apni biwyon aur bachon ke khilaaf khandaani tashadud mein mulawis hain, Yahan tak ke Islam se qabal ayaam-e-jahiliyat mein arab apni biwyon ko ghulaamon ki tarah koore lagate the, Aur yeh aam aur mamooli tha, Kisi bhi qanoon ya shari’yat ke tehet Haram ya jurm nahin tha, Jab Rasoolullah(ﷺ) maboos kiye gaye to us par shadeed tanqeed ki aur farmaya: “Tum mein baz apni biwi ko ghulaam ki tarah koore maarte hain halanke ussi din ke khatam hone par woh usse humbistri bhi karte hain” (196).
Is Hadees-e-mubaraka mein Rasoolullah(ﷺ) ne us shakhs par tanqeed ki jo din ke waqt apni biwi ko maarta hai phir raat ko aakar usse humbistri karna chahta hai, Baalfaz deegar shohar biwi ke saath din ke waqt sakhti se kyun pesh aata hai jabke raat ke waqt uski mohabbat aur unsiyat chahta hai.
Kitaab muqaddas ehednama qadeem-o-jadeed mein aurat ki hesiyat ke mutaliq iqtaabasaat
Aksar-o-beshtar eesayiat mazhab ke perokaar Eesa(علیہ السلام) ko” Khawaateen ke haqooq ka pehla muhaafiz” ke tor par pesh karte hain, Aur yeh ke unhon ne hi aurton ko woh haqooq diye jo kisi aur mazhab ne nahin diye aur yeh ke kitaab muqaddas ne aurton ko insaaf aur aala maqaam diya, Lekin kya yeh baaten haqeeqat ke mutaabiq hain?yeh har koi janta hai.
Kitaab muqaddas, Charch ke andar heekal mein khawaateen ko daakhil hone se manaa karti hai, Jo muqaddas jaggah ya muqaddas qurbaangaah hai, Chahe woh aurat ek bachi ho, Ya jawan, Ho ya boorhi ho, Darasal yeh mamla umar ka nahin balke aurton ki jans ka hai, Aur kitaab muqaddas ehednaam qadeem-o-jadeed ne aisa koi ishara zikar nahin kiya jis mein aurat ke heekal mein daakhla ka imkaan ho yahan tak ke aurat ko kahaanat ke raaz maloom karne ki bhi ijazat nahin hai.
Ek aurat ko kaleesa mein baat karne ya kharch ke andar kisi ko taleem dene ki ijazat nahin, Isi tarah kaahan ka koi munasib lene ki bhi usse ijazat nahin, Iske liye sirf yehi mumkin hai ke shamasa ke rutbe par rahe aur yeh khaadima ka rutba hai na ke paadri ka.
Bayibal ne hamaare saamne jitne bhi kaahan pesh kiye hain woh sabke sab mard the, Chahe woh Rasool hon, Jaise Nooh, Ayub, Ibrahim, Ishaaq, Yaqoob, Ya woh Harooni kaahan, Ya mulki saarif kaahan, Ya Rasoolon ke jaanasheen kaahan hon, Yeh sabke sab mard the, Aur agar koi aurat kahaanat ke ehedey par faiz hosakti to Syeda Maryam(علیہ السلام) uski ziyada haqdaar thin, Lekin eesayi taleemaat ke mutabiq aurat usse mahroom hai.
Hum bayibal ki kuch nusos pesh kar rahi hain taake eesaiyon ke haan aurat ka maqaam aur uski hesiyat maloom kar saken.
- Aurat ke mard ke gunnah ke sabab saza di jaye gi:
Safar-e-yarmiyaan(34 : 23) : “Aur Nabi aur kaahin aur logon mein se jo koi kahe khudawand ki taraf se baar-e-naboowat mein us shakhs ko aur uske gharaane ko saza doon ga.
- Zaaniya aurat ko aag mein jalana:
Safar-e-ehbaar(9 : 21) : Aur agar kaahin ki beti faahisha ban kar apne aapko napaak kare to woh apne baap ko napaak thehraati hai. Woh aurat aag mein jalayi jaaye.
- Ghair maqool asbaab ki bana par aurat ka haath kaatna:
Safar-e-Istasna(11 : 25) : Jab do shakhs aapas mein larte hon aur ek ki biwi paas jaakar apne shohar ko us aadmi ke haath se churaane ke liye jo usse maarta ho apna haath barhaaye aur uski sharamgaah ko pakar le. 12 tu tu uska haath kaat daalna aur zara taras na khaana.
- Talaaq yaafta, Bewa aur zaaniya yeh sab aurtein barabar hain:
Safar-e-ehbaar(9 : 21) : Woh apne khuda ke liye paak bane rahen aur apne khuda ke naam ko be hurmat na karen kyunki woh khudawand ki aatisheen qurbaniyaan jo unke khuda ki ghiza hain guzraante hain. Isliye woh paak rahen. 7 woh kisi faahisha ya napaak aurat se baya na kare aur na us aurat se bayan karen jisse uske shohar ne talaaq di ho kyunki kaahin apne khuda ke liye muqaddas hai. 8 pas tu kaahin ko muqaddas jaanna kyunki woh tere khuda ki ghiza guzraanta hai. So woh teri nazar mein muqaddas thehre kyunki mein khudawand jo tumko muqaddas karta hoon qudoos hoon. 9
- Aurat ki mard ke liye mutaliq aajzi-o-farmanbardaari:
Afsiyon ke naam police ka khat( 22 : 5) : Ae biwyon! Apne shoharon ki aisi taabe raho jaise khudawand ki. 23 kyunki shohar biwi ka sar hai jaise ke maseeh kaleesya ka sar hai aur woh khud badan ka bachane wala hai. 24 lekin jaise kaleesya maseeh ke taabe hai waise hi biwyaan bhi har baat mein apne shoharon ke taabe hon.
- Aurat par laazim hai ke kaneesa mein khamosh rahe:
Karnithyoon ke naam police ka khat: (34 : 14) : 34 aurtein kalisya ke majmooye mein khamosh rahen taake unhein bolne ka hukum nahin balke taabe rahen jaisa toret mein bhi likha hai. 35 aur agar kuch seekhna chahein to ghar mein apne apne shohar se poochen kyunki aurat ka kalisya ke majmooye mein bolna sharam ki baat hai.
- Aurat gumraahi ka sabab hai:
Temthes ke naam police ka khat(11 : 2) : 12 aur mein ijazat nahin deta ke aurat sikhaye ya mard par hukum chalaye balke chup chaap rahe. 13 kyunki pehle Aadam banaya gaya. Uske baad hawa. 14 aur Aadam ne fareb nahin khaaya balke aurat fareb khaa kar gunnah mein par gayi.
15 lekin aulaad hone se nijaat paye gi basharteeka woh eemaan aur mohabbat aur pekeezigi mein parhezgaari ke saath qayim rahen.
- Mard ki aurat par hukumarani:
Batras ka pehla khat: (1 : 3) : Ae biwyon! Tum bhi apne apne shohar ke taabe raho. 2 isliye ke agar baz un mein se kalaam ko na maante hon to bhi tumhare pakeeza chaal chalan aur khauf ko dekh kar baghair kalaam ke apni apni biwi ke chaal chalan se khuda ki taraf khinch jaayein. 3 aur tumhara sihngaar zaahri na ho yaani sar ghoodhna aur sone ke zewar aur tarah tarah ke kapre pehnna. 4balke tumhari baatooni aur posheeda insaniyat hilim aur mizaaj ki ghurbat ki ghair faani araaish se araasta rahe kyunki khuda ke nazdeek uski bari qadar hai. 5 aur agley zamane mein bhi khuda par umeed rakhne waali muqaddas aurtein apne aapko ussi tarah sanwaarti aur apne apne shohar ke taabe rehti thin. 6chunancha sara-o-abarhaam ke hukum mein rehti aur usse khudawand kehti thi. Tum bhi agar neki karo aur kisi daraawe se na daro to uski betiyaan huwin.
Safar-e-pedaish(16 : 3) : ” 16 phir usne aurat se kahan ke mein tere dard-e-hamal ko bahot barhaoonga. Tu dard ke saath bache jane gi. Aur teri rughbat apne shohar ki taraf hogi aur woh tujh par hukumat kare ga.
- Zaaniya aurat ko rajam karna yahan tak ke woh mar jaye:
Safar-e-istasna(13 : 22) : Agar koi mard kisi aurat ko baya hai aur uske paas jaye aur baad uske usse nafrat karke. 14 sharamnaak baaten uske haq mein kahe aur usse badnam karne ke liye yeh daawaa kare ke maine is aurat se baya kiya aur jab mein uske paas gaya to maine kunwaare pan ke nishaan us mein nahin paaye. 15tab us larki baap aur uski maa us larki ke kunwaare pan ke nishaanon ko is shehar ke phaatak par buzrugon ke paas le jayein. 16 aur us larki ka baap buzrugon se kahe ke maine apni beti is shakhs ko baya di par yeh usse nafrat rakhta hai. 17 aur sharamnaak baaten uske haq mein kehta aur yeh daawaa karta hai ke maine teri beti mein kunwaare pan ke nishaan nahin paaye halanke meri beti ke kunwaare pan ke nishaan yeh mojood hain. Phir us chaadar ko shehar ke buzrugon ke aage phela din. 18 tab shehar ke buzrug us shakhs ko pakar kar usse koore lagayein. 19 aur usse chaandi ki so misqal jurmana lekar us larki ke baap ko din isliye ke usne ek israili kunwari ko badnam kiya aur woh uski biwi rahe aur woh zindagi bhar usko talaaq na dene paaye. 20par agar yeh baat sach ho ke larki mein kunwaare pan ke nishaan nahin paaye gaye. 21 to woh us larki ko uske baap ke ghar ke darwaaze par nikaal laayein aur uske shehar ke log usse sanagsaar karen ke woh mar jaye kyunki usne israil ke darmiyaan shararat ki ke apne baap ke ghar mein fahisha ban gaya. Yoon to aisi burayi ko apne darmiyaan se difaa karna.
Safar-e-astasna(23 : 22) : 23agar koi kunwari larki kisi shakhs se mansoob hogayi ho aur koi doosraa aadmi usse shehar mein paa kar usse sohbat kare.
24to tum un donon ko is shehar ke phaatak par nikaal lana aur unko tum sanagsaar kar dena ke woh mar jayein.
- Aurat ka darja mard se kam hai:
Karnithyoon ke naam police ka pehla khat: (3 : 11) : 3pas mein tumhein aghaa karna chahta hoon ke yeh mard ka sar maseeh aur aurat ka sar mard aur maseeh ka sar khuda hai. 4jo mard se dhanke huwe dua ya naboowat karta hai woh apne sar ko be hurmat karta hai. 5aur jo aurat be sar dhanke dua ya naboowat karti hai woh apne sar ko be hurmat karti hai kyunki woh sar mundi ke barabar hai. 6agar aurat orhni na orhe to baal bhi kataaye. Agar aurat kaa baal katana ya sar mundana sharam ki baat hai to orhni orhe. 7albata mard ko apna sar dhaankna na chahiye kyunki woh khuda ki soorat aur uska jalal hai magar aurat mard ka jalal hai. 8isliye ke mard aurat se nahin balke aurat mard se hai. 9aur mard aurat ke liye nahin balke aurat mard ke liye peda huwi. 10pas farishton ke sabab se aurat ko chahiye ke apne sar par mahkoom hone ke ilaamat rakhe. 11to bhi khudawand mein na aurat mard ke baghair hai na mard aurat ke baghair.12
- Khawaateen ke liye maseehi taleemaat:
Muqala dasqooliya(Rasoolon ki taleemaat) ke doosre baab ka unwaan hai: Aurton par waajib hai ke apne shoharon ki farmanbardaari karen, Aur hikmat ke saath chalen
Kehte hain: Aurat ko chahiye ke apne shohar ki taabe rahe isliye ke aurat ka sar uska shohar hai, Ae aurat! Tum apne shohar se daro, Aur usse haya karo, Aur Allah Ta’ala ke baad usko raazi karo, Jaisa ke humne kaha hai apni khidmat se apne shohar ko araam do, Taake tumhara shohar bhi tumhein apne paas panah de, Agar tum Allah Ta’ala par eemaan laane waali aur uski pasandeeda banna chahti ho to ajnabee mardon ko khush karne ke liye zeenat ikhtiyaar na karo, Aur aisi orhniyaan aur libaas pehnne ki khuwaish na karo jo halke hote hain, Aur sirf zaani aurton ke liye mozoon hote hain, Taake tumhare peeche woh log na chal paren jo is tarah ki aurton ka shikaar karte hain, Aur agarcha tum gunnah ke kaam badsatoor nahin karti ho lekin tum banao singhaar karke logon ko apni taraf mayil kar rahi ho, Kyunki is tarah tum dekhne waale ko majboor kar deti ho ke woh tumhare peeche chale, Aur tumhein chahne lage, Tum khud ki hifazat kyun nahin karti taake tum khataa mein waqe na ho aur na hi kisiko ijazat do ke tumhari wajah se shak ya ghairat mein pare, Aur agar tum is amal ko ikhtiyaar karke gunnah karti ho to tum bhi gir jao gi kyunki us shakhs ke nifs ki halaakat ka sabab tum hi bano gi, Phir agar tumne kisi shakhs ke saath ek martaba yeh ghalti ki to is sabab se tum bahot saare logon ke saath yeh ghalti karo gi aur tum mein umeed ki kami hogi, Jis tarah bayibal ne kaha hai ke agar munaafiq bahot si buraiyon mein gir jata hai to woh unhein mamooli samajhta hai aur khud par dard aur aar lata hai.
Jo bhi aisa karti hai, Gunnah ki wajah se halaak hojati hai, Aur jaahil aur bewaqar logon ka shikar karti hai, Aisi aurat ko maloom hona chahiye ke is tarah ke logon par gunnah musallat karne waale ke mutaliq bayibal kya kehti hai”jaahil aurat se mout se ziyada nafrat ki jaye kyunki yeh jaahilon ka jaal hai”isi tarah ek aur jagah kehti hai”jis tarah deemak lakri kha jata hai, Isi tarah ek buri aurat apne shohar ko tabah kar deti hai”isi tarah bayibal yeh bhi kehti hai”ghar mein chat ke kinaare par rehna, Badzubaan aur nafarman aurat ke saath rehne se behtar hai”.
Ae maseeh aurat! Agar tum momina banna chahti ho to un aurton ki mushabihat se bacho, Aur sirf apne shohar ka khayaal rakho, Taake usse raazi kar sako, Aur agar tum raaste mein chalo to apna sar chaadar se dhaanp kar rakho, Aur agar tum iffat ke saath khud ko dhaanp logi to bure logon ki nazron se mehfooz rahogi, Apne chehre ko mazeen na karo isliye ke Allah Ta’ala ne jisse bhi peda kiya hai, Us mein zeenat ki kami nahin hai, Woh bahot khubsoorat hai, Zeenat ka mohtaaj nahin aur jo khubsoorti se ziyada ho woh khaaliq ki nemat ko tabdeel kar deta hai,
Tumhara chalna us andaz mein ho ke tumhara chehra neeche dekh raha ho, Aur tum har taraf se dhaki huwi ho, Phir us gehri saheli se bacho jo uske layeq nahin, Jo mardon ke saath hamaam aur aksar faasqon ke saath shareek hoti ho, Momina aurat mardon ke saath na nahaye aur apne aur apne chehre ko ajnabee logon ki nazron se jaldi se dhaanp le, Aur agar tum momina banna chahti ho to har tarah ki fazooliyat aur bahot si nazron se door raho.
Seher aur bayabaan mein rehna zabaan daraaz aur nafarmaan aurat ke saath rehne se ziyada behtar hai.
The Issue of Beating Women in Other Religions
The issue of beating women is not restricted to a specific time or place. That is why it is not connected with a specific era or a specific society, but it exists in all societies and eras without any exception. And whoever wants to study the place of women in ancient societies, there are many books that treat this subject and the place of women in ancient Roman, Greek, Chinese, Indian and other societies.
How did Judaism and Christianity deal with the phenomenon of beating women, which was widespread in ancient societies, even in the society of Jesus Christ? Did Jesus Christ ever speak about the prohibition of beating women? Are there texts in the Bible, either Old or New Testament, that prohibit the beating of women or even refer to it as a repugnant act? From specialized studies it seems that there is no reference to this subject.
As a result, does a Jew or a Christian man sin if he beats his wife, according to his religion? And what is his punishment according to the verses of the Bible? Obviously he does not sin as there is no verse in the Bible, neither in the New nor in the Old Testament, stating something like that.
Furthermore, the husband is not even condemned according to the state law, nor is he punished, except if there are marks of violence in his wife’s body, such as fractures, bruises or wounds. But without manifest marks in her body, how can she prove that she was a victim of violence? In other words, an imperceptible beating is not condemned neither religiously nor legally by the Jews or Christians.
Let us also look into Buddhism and other religions of the Far East. Is there any reference in their holy texts that condemns the beating of women?
Of course there is no religious text in any religion that prohibits the beating of women, except in Islam! Even after moving the judgment of beating women from the category of the prohibited to the category of the repugnant, Islam still remains the only religion that clearly states that the beating of women is a repugnant act! But all the other religions do not refer to this subject, neither as something prohibited, nor repugnant.
Furthermore, there is no religion that sets limits for the man as to whether he can beat his wife, except Islam. In other words, if a Jew or a Christian or a Buddhist loses his temper and self- control in the heat of the moment and beats his wife, what are the limits that he must not transgress? Has Judaism, Christianity or Buddhism set limits for the man who lost his self-control and beat his wife, such as not to leave marks on her body, hit her face etc.? Of course not.
Someone who observes the reality of our everyday life will find a huge percentage of Jew, Christian or Buddhist men who beat their wives. Take a look, dear reader, at the lawsuits that are lodged at the police stations and courts in Europe and America, and you shall see an enormous number of men who have committed domestic violence against their wives and children. Even in the Arab society before Islam, men used to beat their wives with lashes as though they were slaves, and this was something common; neither prohibited, nor illegal. But when the Prophet Muhammad came, he condemned that practice with austerity. Prophet Muhammad said:
‘Some of you lash their wives as a slave, and may wish to have sexual intercourse with them at the end of the day.’ [Bukhari]
In this hadith the Prophet condemns and reprimands the man who beats his wife in the morning and wishes to have sexual intercourse with her in the night!! In other words, how can you be rude and harsh with her in the morning and then expect and wish her tenderness and company at night?!!!
Quotes from the Bible on the Status of Women
Some Christians constantly claim that Jesus Christ was the first defender of the rights of women, that he gave them rights unlike any other religion and that the Bible treats women impartially and raises their status! But do those words correspond to the reality?
We all know that the Bible forbids women to enter the Holy Sanctuary of the Church, which contains the Holy Altar, whether the woman is a child, a teenager, or an elderly. This is not related to age, but it is related to gender. And the Bible, either Old or New Testament, does not include any mention that a woman is allowed to enter the Holy Sanctuary. Ordination is also forbidden for women. A woman is also not allowed to speak inside the church or teach anyone inside the church. She is not allowed to receive ecclesiastical office, she can only receive the office of the deacon, which is actually a servant, not a priest! The Bible presents all kinds of ecclesiastical offices which are all restricted to men only, like the Priesthood of the first Patriarchs, such as Noah, Job, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, or the Aaronic Priesthood, the Priesthood of Melchizedek, the Priesthood of the Apostles and their bishop successors. All these are reserved for men and if a woman were to receive an ecclesiastical office, that would have been the Virgin Mary. But according to the teachings of Christianity a woman is deprived of all these.
Let us look at some quotes from the Bible in order to see the status of a woman:
- A woman is punished for her husband’s sin:
{And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say: The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house (i.e. his wife and children).} (Jeremiah 23:34)
- The burning of the adulteress:
{And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.} (Leviticus 21:9)
- Cutting the hand of a woman for irrational reasons:
{“When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: 12 Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her. } (Deuteronomy 25:11-12)
- The divorced, the widow and the adulteress are equal:
{10 And he that is the high priest… shall take a wife in her virginity.
14A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or a harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife. 15 Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the Lord do sanctify him.} (Leviticus 21:10- 13-14-15)
- Total submission of a woman to her husband:
{22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. - Silence of women in the church:
{Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.) (1 Corinthians 14:34-35)
- The woman is the cause of temptation:
{Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. - Men rule over women:

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord.) - Death of adulteresses by stoning:
{13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: 16 And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; 17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; “And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. 20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: 21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die.} (Deuteronomy 22:13-21)
{If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.} (Deuteronomy 22:22) {If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die} (Deuteronomy 22:23-24)
- Women are inferior to men:
{³ But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 10 For this cause ought the woman have power on her head because of the angels.} (1 Corinthians 11:3-10)

{And a woman should be subjected to her husband, because the head of the woman is her husband…Fear, o woman, your husband. And be shy before him. And thank only him after God. And as we have said, offer him comforts with your service, so as for your husband to encompass you…If you want to be a believer and God to be pleased with you, do not put on ornaments so as to please strangers and do not wish to wear light clothes which only fit to the adulteresses, so that you are not followed by those who chase such women. If you don’t wear them in order to commit adultery, you will again be condemned for your ornaments alone, because in this way you force whomever sees you to follow you and lust you. Why you are not conservative, so as not to fall in sin and not to leave one fall in doubt (or jealousy) for your sake?! And if you sin just for that, you will fall too, as you will have become the reason of destroying the soul of that man. If you lead one to sin, he will be the cause for you to sin in many, as it is written in the Holy Bible: {When the wicked cometh, then cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach.} (Proverbs 18:3). Anyone who does that will be destroyed through sin and will go after the souls of the ignorant with impiety. Let her know what the Holy Bible says about whomever attributes lies to such (men). {The evil woman is more hateful than death, which is a trap for the ignorant.} {As the worm eats the wood, so a wicked woman destroys her husband} {It is better to live in a roof, than in a house with a contentious woman.} Do not be, o Christian women, like those women, if you wish to be believers. Take care of your husband in order to please him alone. And when you walk on the street, cover your head with your garment, because if you are covered with respect you will be safe from the eyes of the malignant. Do not decorate your face, which God created, because it lacks no ornament. Since whatever God created is very beautiful and needs no ornaments. And what is more from beauty changes the grace of the Creator. Walk with your face looking to the ground and be entirely covered. Stay away from any bath with men, as the traps of the malignant are many. A believing woman does not have bath with men. And when she covers her face, let her cover it with the fear of the eyes of strangers…And if you are a believer run away from any form of curiosity and from the many glances… {To live on the desert is better than living with a woman with a long tongue.}}.
