DAANT DURUST AUR SAHEEH KARWANEY KA HUKUM:

Agar nichley daant chotey aur aagey peechey aur tairhay hoon to inhein saheeh karney ka kiya hukum hai?
Aur issi tarah agar ooper waley daant aagey ki taraf nikley hoon to kiya inhein saheeh karwaya ja sakta hai, yeh ilm mein rahey ke issko saheeh karwaney kay liye kuch daant nikalwaney parhtey hain taa ke izzafi jagah muyassar aa sakey aur phir issey kholney kay baad sikkey kay maadey ka asar zayel karney kay liye daanton ko narm karney ki zuroorat Hoti hai?

JAWAB KA MATAN

Alhamdulillah

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan se daant seedhey karwaney kay mutaaliq dariyaft kiya gaya to unka kehna tha:

“Agar iski zuroorat ho, maslan agar daanton mein bad soorati ho aur inki islah aur durustgi ki zuroorat ho to iss mein koi harj nahi lekin agar iski zuroorat na ho to phir jayez nahi hai, balkeh khoobsurti kay liye daanton ko ragadhney aur in mein faasla karney ki mumaniyat aee hai aur iss par wa’eed bayan ki gaee hai, kiyon ke yeh Allah ki paida kardah soorat kay saath khailna aur iss mein tabdeeli hai.

Lekin agar yeh bator e ilaaj ho , Yaa phir khoobsurti khatam karney kay liye ho , Yaa kisi zuroorat kay paish e nazar maslan insaan daant durust karaye baghair kha na sakta ho, to iss mein koi harj nahi.

Aur zayed daant nikalney kay masla mein Shaykh Ibn Jibreen (حفظہ اللہ) kehtey hain:

” Zayed daant nikalney mein koi harj nahi Kiyon ke yeh manzar ko badsoorat bana deta hai, aur insaan iss se tang aa jata hai..lekin daanton kay darmiyan fasla karwana yaa raghad Kar bareek karna jayez nahi hai.

Ruling on straightening the teeth

Question

What is the ruling on straightening the teeth, if the lower jaw is small and the teeth are overcrowded or crooked, and the teeth of the upper jaw are protruding, noting that the straightening process requires the extraction of some teeth to make more room, and that after the straightening is complete the teeth will need to be filed to remove traces of the sustance used to keep the metal in place?

Answer

Praise be to Allah.

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan was asked about straightening the teeth and he said, If that is necessary, such as if there is some deformity in the teeth that needs to be corrected, then there is nothing wrong with it. But if it is not necessary then it is not permitted., rather it is forbidden to file the teeth or make gaps between them for the purpose of beautification, and there is a strong warning against doing so because it is a kind of messing about and altering the creation of Allaah.

But if this is done for the purpose of medical treatment, or to remove a deformity or for some other need, such as when a person is unable to eat unless his teeth are corrected, then there is nothing wrong with that.

With regard to removing extra teeth, Shaykh Ibn Jibreen said: there is nothing wrong with removing an extra tooth, because it deforms the appearance and makes things difficult for a person… but it is not permissible to file them or make gaps between them because of the prohibition on doing so.

دانت درست اور صحيح كروانے كا حكم

اگر نچلے دانت چھوٹے اور آگے پيچھے اور ٹيڑھے ہوں تو انہيں صحيح كروانے كا حكم كيا ہے ؟
اور اسى طرح اگر اوپر والے دانت آگے كى طرف نكلے ہوں تو كيا انہيں صحيح كروايا جا سكتا ہے، يہ علم ميں رہے كہ اس كو صحيح كروانے كے ليے كچھ دانت نكلوانے پڑتے ہيں تا كہ اضافى جگہ ميسر آ سكے، اور پھر اسے كھولنے كے بعد سكے كے مادے كا اثر زائل كرنے كے ليے دانتوں كو نرم كرنے كى ضرورت ہوتى ہے ؟

جواب کا متن

الحمد للہ.

شيخ صالح الفوزان سے دانت سيدھے كروانے كے مكمل دريافت كيا گيا تو ان كا كہنا تھا:

” اگر اس كى ضرورت ہو، مثلا اگر دانتوں ميں بدصورتى ہو اور ان كى اصلاح اور درستگى كى ضرورت ہو تو اس ميں كوئى حرج نہيں ليكن اگر اس كى ضرورت نہ ہو تو پھر جائز نہيں ہے، بلكہ خوبصورتى كے ليے دانتوں كو رگڑنے اور ان ميں فاصلہ كرنے كى ممانعت آئى ہے اور اس پر وعيد بھى بيان كى گئى ہے، كيونكہ يہ اللہ تعالى كى پيدا كردہ صورت كے ساتھ كھيلنا اور اس ميں تبديلى ہے.

ليكن اگر يہ مثلا بطور علاج ہو، يا پھر بدصورتى ختم كرنے كے ليے ہو، يا كسى ضرورت كے پيش نظر مثلا انسان دانت درست كرائے بغير كھا نہ سكتا ہو، تو اس ميں كوئى حرج نہيں.

اور زائد دانت كو ختم كرنے اور نكالنے كے مسئلہ ميں شيخ ابن جبرين حفظہ اللہ كہتے ہيں:

” زائد دانت نكالنے ميں كوئى حرج نہيں، كيونكہ يہ منظر كو بدصورت بنا ديتا ہے، اور انسان اس سے تنگ آ جاتا ہے.. ليكن دانتوں كے درميان فاصلہ كروانا، يا رگڑ كر باريك كرنا جائز نہيں ہے ” .
