10. JAHANNUM MEIN KAFIR KAY JISM KI ZAKHAAMAT
Hazrat Abu Hurerah(رضي الله عنه) bayan karte hai keh, Rasool Allah(ﷺ) ne farmaaya:
(( إِنَّ غِلَظَ جِلْدِ الْکَافِرِ اثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُوْنَ ذِرَاعًا،وَإِنَّ ضِرْسَہُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ، وَإِنَّ مَجْلِسَہُ مِنْ جَہَنَّمَ کَمَا بَیْنَ مَکَّۃَ وَالْمَدِیْنَۃِ))
“Beshak Kafir ki khaal ki motai (Zukhamat) bayalees(82) haat kay baraber hogi aur uski aik dharh uhad pahar kay barabar hogi aur jahannum mein uske baithnay ki jagah itni hogi jitni makkah aur madina kay darmiyaan hai.”

Isi tarah Hazrat Abu Hurerah(رضي الله عنه) bayan karte hain keh, Rasool Allah(ﷺ) ne farmaaya:
(( مَابَیْنَ مَنْکِبَیِ الْکَافِرِ فِیْ النَّارِ مَسِیْرَۃُ ثَلَاثَۃِ أَیَّامٍ لِلرَّاکِبِ الْمُسْرِعِ))
“Jahannum mein kafir ki donon kandhon kay darmiyaan itna fasla hoga jitna fasla aik tez raftaar sawar teen din mein taey karta hai.”
[Sahih Al Bukhari: 6551]
Aur Hazrat Mujahid(رحمه الله) bayan karte hain keh, Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas(رضي الله عنه) ne kaha : kiya tumhen maloom hai keh jahannum ki wus’at kitni hai? Tou main ne kaha : Nahi.
Unho ne kaha: Haan! Allah ki qasam, kiya tumhen maloom nahi keh jahannumi kay kaanon ki aik lo se iske kandhay tak sattar(70) saal ki musafat hogi- Isme peep aur khoon ki waadiyaan chalengi.”

The Huge Size Of the people of Hell
When the people of Hell enter the Fire, they will be huge in their stature and size, in a form that none can comprehend except the One
Who created them. According to a hadith narrated by Abu Hurayrah,the Messenger of Allah said:
“مَا بَيْنَ مَنْكِبَىِ الْكَافِرِ مَسِيرَةُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ لِلرَّاكِبِ الْمُسْرِعِ”.
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The width between the two shoulders of a Kafir (disbeliever) will be equal to the distance covered by a fast rider in three days.”
[Sahih Al Bukhari: 6551]
Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: “The molar of the kaafir, or the eye-tooth of the kaafir, will be
like mount Uhud, and the thickness of his skin will be like a journey of three (days).
Silsilat al-Ahaadeeth as-Saheehah (4/132)
Zayd ibn Arqam said: “The man who is destined for Hell will become huge in preparation for it, so that one of his molars will be as big as Mount Uhud.” This is narrated by Ahmad, who attributes it to the Prophet(ﷺ), but Zayd did not state that he heard it from the Prophet(ﷺ)
Abu Hurayrah (ra) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“The kaafir s skin will be forty-two cubits thick, and his molar will be like mount Uhud, and the space he occupies will be as wide as the distance between Makkah and Madeenah.”
Silsilat al-ahaadeeth as-Saheehah, 4/131. Al-Albani said: its isnaad is saheeh according to the conditions of Muslim.
“ إِنَّ غِلَظَ جِلْدِ الْكَافِرِ اثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعًا وَإِنَّ ضِرْسَهُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ وَإِنَّ مَجْلِسَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ كَمَا بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ ” . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الأَعْمَشِ .

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“The molar of the kaafir on the Day of Resurrection will be like Uhud, and the thickness of his skin will be seventy cubits.
His upper arm will be like Al-Baydaa his thigh will be like Warqaan, and the space he occupies will be like the distance
between me and Ar-Rabdhah.”

This increasing of the kaafir s body size will increase his suffering and torment. Commenting on the hadith narrated by Muslim on this
subject, An-Nawawi said: “All of this is in order to intensify the suffering, and all of this is possible for Allah. We must believe in it
because the truthful (Prophet ﷺ) has told us about it.”
Sharh an-Nawawi ‘ala Muslim, 17/186.
Ibn Katheer, in a comment on these hadiths, said: “So that their punishment and suffering may be more severe, as Allah (), the Severe in punishment says:
لِيَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۗ
(..that they may taste the Penalty…)

(۱۰) جہنم میں کافر کے جسم کی ضخامت
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کا بیان ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
(( إِنَّ غِلَظَ جِلْدِ الْکَافِرِ اثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُوْنَ ذِرَاعًا،وَإِنَّ ضِرْسَہُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ، وَإِنَّ مَجْلِسَہُ مِنْ جَہَنَّمَ کَمَا بَیْنَ مَکَّۃَ وَالْمَدِیْنَۃِ [1]))
’’ بے شک کافر کی کھال کی موٹائی ( ضخامت ) بیالیس ہاتھ کے برابر ہو گی اور اس کی ایک داڑھ احد پہاڑ کے برابر ہو گی اور جہنم میں اس کے بیٹھنے کی جگہ اتنی ہو گی جتنی مکہ اور مدینہ کے درمیان ہے۔ ‘‘

اسی طرح حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :
(( مَابَیْنَ مَنْکِبَیِ الْکَافِرِ فِیْ النَّارِ مَسِیْرَۃُ ثَلَاثَۃِ أَیَّامٍ لِلرَّاکِبِ الْمُسْرِعِ ))
’’ جہنم میں کافر کے دونوں کندھوں کے درمیان اتنا فاصلہ ہو گا جتنا فاصلہ ایک تیز رفتار سوار تین دن میں طے کرتا ہے ۔‘‘

اور حضرت مجاہد رحمہ اللہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبد اللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : کیا تمھیں معلوم ہے کہ جہنم کی وسعت کتنی ہے ؟ تو میں نے کہا : نہیں ۔ انھوں نے کہا : ہاں ! اللہ کی قسم ، کیا تمھیں معلوم نہیں کہ جہنمی کے کانوں کی ایک لو سے اس کے کندھے تک ستر سال کی مسافت ہو گی ۔ اس میں پیپ اور خون کی وادیاں چلیں گی ۔‘‘
