01. ISLAM [WHAT IS ISLAM?]
Islaam ka Ma’ana;
Islam ka ma’ana lughat ki Kitabo ka Muaraji’a karenge to Aap Kalmae islaam ke Ma’ane ye painge:
Al inqiyaad, Tabedari, aur Al Khuzuu , Aajizi wo Inkesari aur Al Iz’aan Haq ka Iqraar aur farma bardari karna Aur Al Isteslaam: hawale kardena, Allah tala ke ehkamaat ko Manna aur iske Nawahi se Rukna aur inpar kisi bhi Qis am ka E’eiteraaz na karna aur Khalis Allah ta’ala hi ke liye Ibadat karna jo kuch Allah ta’ala ne bataya hai uski tasdeeq karna aur Ispar Imaan lana , Ye islaam ka Ma’ana hai.
Aur Islam is Deen ka ilm aur naam banchuka hai jisko Muhammed Rasool Allah(ﷺ) lekar Aye hai,
Deen e Islam Ko Islam Kyu Kaha jata hai?
Royen Zameen Par Jitne bhi Mukhtaleef Deen hai inke naam yaa to kisi Khas Shakshiyat ki Nisbat se hain, Yaa phir Kisi Mue’ien Ummat ki Nisbat se. To Nasaraniya (Nasari) se liya gaya aur Isi tarah Booziya (Booza) aur Zardashtiya isliye Maroof aur Mashoor howa ke iska Moasis Zardasht tha aur isi tarah yahudiya Yahyda Qabile ke Darmiyan zahir howa to isey yahudiya ke naam se Mosoom kardiya gaya aur isi Tarah Baaqi ke mutaliq bhi,
Islam naa to kisi Shaksiyat Ki taraf Mansoob hai aur naa hi Kisi Mue’ien Ummat aur Qaom Ki Taraf Balke iska naam ek Khas Sifat ka Hamil hai jo ke Kalmae Islam Apne Andar Samoye aur Ziman me liye howe hai
Aur iske Ism ke Ma’ane se ye Zahir hai ke is Deen ki Eijaad Wo Tasees me kisi ka Dakhal hai na, na hi Dusri Ummato ko Choodkar kisi Khas Ummat aur Qaom ke saat Khaas hai .
Balke Is Deen Ki Gharz wo Ghaieyat ye hai ke Sare ke sare Ehle zameen Islam me Aajayen aur is islami Sifaat me Zewar Zaib-tan kare , to Jo Bhi ye Sifaat Ikhtiyar karega Chahe wo Shehri ho Ya dehati wo Musalmaan hoga Aur Iss Tarah Mustaqbil me bhi Jo Inhe Ikhtiyar karega wo bhi Muslaman Kehlaiga.

DEFINITION OF ISLAM:
1). If you refer to Arabic language dictionaries you will find out that the meaning of the word Islam is: submission, humbling oneself, and obeying commands and heeding prohibitions without objection, sincerely worshipping Allaah alone, believing what He tells us and having faith in Him. The word Islam has become the name of the religion which was brought by Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
2). The word ISLAM has a two-fold meaning: peace, and submission to God. This submission requires a fully conscious and willing effort to submit to the one Almighty God. One must consciously and conscientiously give oneself to the service of Allah. This means to act on what Allah enjoins all of us to do (in the Qur’an) and what His beloved Prophet, Muhammad (pbuh) encouraged us to do in his Sunnah (his lifestyle and sayings personifying the Qur’an).
Once we humble ourselves, rid ourselves of our egoism and submit totally to Allah, and to Him exclusively, in faith and in action, we will surely feel peace in our hearts. Establishing peace in our hearts will bring about peace in our external conduct as well.
Islam is careful to remind us that it not a religion to be paid mere lip service; rather it is an all-encompassing way of life that must be practiced continuously for it to be Islam. The Muslim must practice the five pillars of the religion: the declaration of faith in the oneness of Allah and the prophet hood of Muhammad (pbuh), prayer, fasting the month of Ramadan, alms-tax, and the pilgrimage to Makkah; and believe in the six articles of faith: belief in God, the Holy Books, the prophets, the angels, the Day of Judgment and God’s decree, whether for good or ill.
There are other injunctions and commandments which concern virtually all facets of one’s personal, family and civic life. These include such matters as diet, clothing, personal hygiene, interpersonal relations, business ethics, responsibilities towards parents, spouse and children, marriage, divorce and inheritance, civil and criminal law, fighting in defense of Islam, relations with non-Muslims, and so much more.
Why is this religion called Islam?
For all the religions on earth are called by various names, either the name of a specific man or a specific nation. So Christianity takes its name from Christ; Buddhism takes its name from its founder, the Buddha; the Zoroastrians became well known by this name because their founder and standard-bearer was Zoroaster. Similarly, Judaism took its name from a tribe known as Yehudah (Judah), so it became known as Judaism. And so on. Except for Islam, for it is not attributed to any specific man or to any specific nation, rather its name refers to the meaning of the word Islam. What this name indicates is that the establishment and founding of this religion was not the work of one particular man and that it is not only for one particular nation to the exclusion of all others. Rather its aim is give the attribute implied by the word Islam to all the peoples of the earth. So everyone who acquires this attribute, whether he is from the past or the present, is a Muslim, and everyone who acquires this attribute in the future will also be a Muslim.

دین اسلام کواسلام کیوں کہاجاتاہے ؟
رؤے زمین پرجتنے بھی مختلف دین ہیں ان کےنام یاتوکسی خاص شخصیت کی نسبت سےہیں یاپھرکسی معین امت کی نسبت سے ۔تونصرانیہ ( نصاری) سےلیاگیااوراسی طرح بوذیہ (بوذا) سےاور زردشتیہ اس لئےمعروف اورمشہورہواکہ اس کامؤسس (زرادشت) تھااوراسی طرح یہودیہ (یہودا) قبیلہ کےدرمیان ظاہرہواتواسےیہودیہ کےنام سےموسوم کردیاگیا ، اوراسی طرح باقی کےمتعلق بھی ۔
اسلام نہ توکسی شخصیت کی طرف منسوب ہےاورنہ ہی کسی معین امت اورقوم کی طرف بلکہ اس کانام ایک خاص صفت کاحامل ہےجوکہ کلمہ اسلام اپنےاندرسموئے اورضمن میں لئےہوئے ہے ۔
اوراس اسم کےمعنی سےیہ ظاہر ہےکہ اس دین کی ایجادوتاسیس میں توکسی بشر کا دخل ہےاورنہ ہی دوسری امتوں کوچھوڑکرکسی خاص امت اورقوم کےساتھ خاص ہے ۔
بلکہ اس دین کی غرض وغایت یہ ہےسارے کےسارے اہل زمین اسلام میں آجائیں اوراس اسلامی صفات کازیور زیب تن کریں ، توجو بھی یہ صفات اختیارکرےگاچاہےوہ شہری ہویادیہاتی وہ مسلمان ہوگااوراسی طرح مستقبل میں بھی جوانہیں اختیارکرےگا وہ بھی مسلمان کہلائےگا ۔.
