08. LAYLATUL QADR KAY FAZAAIL [The Virtues of the Night of Decree]

LAYLATUL QADR KE FAZAAIL

Laylatul Qadr ki Fazilat Qur’an mein

Allah Ta’ala ne farmaya:

Yaqeenan Hum ne is (Qur’an) ko Laylatul Qadr mein nazil kiya hai, aur tumhein kya maloom Laylatul Qadr kya hai! Laylatul Qadr ek hazar mahinon se behtar hai. Is (raat) mein farishte aur Rooh (yani Jibreel) apne Rabb ke hukum se har faisala ke saath nazil hote hain. Yeh raat sarasar salamati hoti hai, yahan tak ki tuloo’ e Fajr ho jaye.

[Surah Al-Qadr:97: 1-5]

Laylatul Qadr ki Fazilat Hadees mein

Anas bin Malik RadhiAllahu Anhu farmate hain:

Jab Ramzan aaya toh Allah Ke Rasool Sallallahu Alayhi Wa-sallam ne farmaya: Yeh mahina tumhare saamne hai. Is mein ek raat hai jo hazar mahinon se behtar hai. Jo is se mahroom raha woh poori khayr se mahroom raha aur is khayr se sirf wohi mahroom hoga jo waqai mahroom ho.

(Ibn Majah) Rawi Anas [Saheeh ul-Jami’ 2247] (Hasan)
Isi ke qareeb alfaaz mein (Musnad Ahmad, Nasa’i aur Bayhaqi fee Sawbul Imaan) mein hai.
Rawi Abu Hurairah [Saheeh al-Jami’ 55] (Saheeh)

Laylatul Qadr mein Qiyaam ki Fazilat

Allah Ke Rasool Sallallahu Alayhi Wa-sallam ne farmaya:

Jis ne Imaan aur sawab ki niyat se Shab-e-Qadr mein qiyaam kiya us ke pichhle tamam gunah muaaf kar diye jate hain.

8. The Virtues of Laylatul Qadr(the Night of Decree)

1. The Virtue of Laylatul Qadr in Qur’an:

Allah(the Exalted) says:

“Indeed, We sent the Qur’an down during the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.   Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.”

[Surah Al-Qadr]

2. The Virtue of Laylatul Qadr in Hadith:

“Ramadan began, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘This month has come to you, and in it there is a night that is better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of it is deprived of all goodness, and no one is deprived of its goodness except one who is truly deprived.”

(Ibn Majah)[Saheeh ul-Jami’ 2247] (Hasan)
Narrator:Anas bin Malik(may Allah be pleased with him)

3. The Virtue of standing in prayer(Qiyam) during Laylatul Qadr:

Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) said:

“Whoever established prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven; and whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.”
