Jalsa-e-Istraahat waajib nahi hai

[Sawaal]

Kia Pehli raka’at ke ba’d doosri ke liye aur teesri ke ba’d chawthi raka’at ke liye uthte hue jalsa-e-istaraahat (Bethna) waajib hai ya Sunnat-e-muakkadah?

[Jawab]

‘Ulama ka ittefaaq hai ke pehli aur teesri raka’at ke doosre sajdah ke ba’d uthne se qabl Namazi ka bethna Namaz ke waajibat ya sunan-e-muakkadah mein se nahi hai phir is masla mein ikhtilaaf hai Kia yeh sirf Sunnat hai ya yeh bilkul Namaz ke waajibat mein se nahi hai ya jalsa-e-istaraahat sirf woh shakhs kare jo kamzori ya budhaape ya marz ya jism ke bojh ki wajah se us ka zaroorat mand ho. Imaam Shaaf’i رحمة الله aur Ahl-e-Hadees ki ek Jama’at ka qawl yeh hai ke yeh Sunnat hai. Imaam Ahmad se bhi ek riwaayat yehi hai kyunke Imaam Bukhari aur Ashaab-e-Sunan ne Hazrat Malik-bin-Hawairas رضي الله عنه ki riwaayat bayaan ki hai ke:

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيِّ ، فَإِذَا كَانَ فِي وِتْرٍ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ لَمْ يَنْهَضْ حَتَّى يَسْتَوِيَ قَاعِدًا

(Sahih Bukhari, Kitaab Al-Azaan, Baab min istawi qaa’ida fi Witr min salaat suma nahaz, H: 823)

“Unhon ne dekha ke Nabi Kareem (ﷺ) Namaz ki taaq raka’at mein seedhe ho kar bethe baghair nahi utha karte the.”

Aksar ‘Ulama jalsa-e-istaraahat ko Sunnat nahi samajhte Un mein se Imaam Abu Hanifa رحمة الله aur Imaam Malik رحمة الله bhi hain. Imaam Ahmad رحمة الله se bhi ek riwaayat yehi hai kyunke deegar Ahadees mein jalsa-e-istaraahat ka zikr nahi hai aur is baat ka ehtimaal hai ke Malik-bin-Hawairas رضي الله عنه ki Hadees mein jis jalsa ka zikr hai us ka ta’lluq Aap (ﷺ) ki hayaat-e-paak ke us aakhri daur se ho jis mein jism-e-athar qadrey bhaari ho gaya tha ya yeh jalsa Aap (ﷺ) ne kisi aur wajah se kiya ho, Ek teesri Jama’at ne in Ahadees mein tatbeeq is tarah di hai ke jalsa ki Ahadees haalat-e-zaroorat-o-haajat par mahmool hon gi lehaaza yeh jalsa bawaqt-e-haajat mashr’u hai, Haajat na ho to mashr’u nahi hai. Tamaam dalaa’il ko saamne rakha jaae to bazaahir yoon ma’loom hota hai ke yeh jalsa-e-mutlaqan mustahab hai aur deegar Ahadees mein is ka ‘adam-e-zikr ‘adam-e-istahbaab ko mustalzam nahi hai balkeh yeh ‘adam-e-wajoob par dalaalat kinaan hai, Is ke mustahab hone ki taa’eed do baaton se hoti hai:

(1)Rasoolullah (ﷺ) ke fa’il ke silsila mein usool yeh hai ke Aap (ﷺ) us se is liye sar-e-anjaam dete hain ke woh hukm-e-shariy’at hai aur us ki iqtida ki jaani chaahiye.

(2) Yeh jalsa Abu Hameed Saa’idi رضي الله عنه se marwi us Hadees se bhi saabit hai jise Imaam Ahmad رحمه الله ne naqal kiya aur Imaam Abu Dawood رحمه الله ne bhi riwaayat kiya hai unhon ne das Sahaaba karaam رضي الله عنهم ki maujoodgi mein Nabi Kareem (ﷺ) ki Namaz ki kefiyat bayaan ki aur is mein jalsa-e-istaraahat ka bhi zikr kiya aur un das Sahaaba Karaam رضي الله عنهم ne Hazrat Abu Hameed Sa’idi رضي الله عنه ki tasdeeq farmaai.
