Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام )

Naam-o-Nasab, Pedaish  Aur Quran  Majeed Mein Aap Ka Tazkarah

 

Aap ka nasab naama is tarah hai [ Nooh Bin Lamik Bin Matushlakh Bin Khanookh ( Idrees  علیہ السلام)  BinYard Bin Mahlayeel Bin Qainan Bin Anoosh Bin Shees Bin Adam علیہ السلام ]

Ibn-e-Jareer ( رحمہ اللہ) wagera kay qoul kay mutabiq aap ki wiladat Hazrat Adam (علیہ السلام) ki wafaat kay aik so chabbees (126) saal baad howi. Ahl-e-Kitab ki tarikh kay mutabiq Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ki wiladat aur Adam (  علیہ السلام) ki wafat kay darmiyan aik so chabbees  (126) saal ka fasla hai aur Sahih Ibn-e-Hibban mein hai keh un kay darmiyan das qaran (das sadyun ya das naslon) ka fasla hai. Jaisa keh Hazrat Abu Umamah ( رضی اللہ عنھا) say riwayat hai keh aik aadmi ne kaha: Allah kay Rasool ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)! Kya Adam (علیہ السلام ) Nabi thay? Nabi (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ne farmaya: “Haan! Aap say kalam kiya gaya” us ne kaha: Aap kay aur Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay darmiyan kitna fasla tha? Nabi (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ne farmaya: “ das qaran” ( Sahih Ibn-e-Hibban, (Al Ahsan) 8/24, Hadith: 6157)

Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas (  رضی اللہ عنہ) say riwayat hai keh, Unhon ne farmaya: “Adam aur Nooh (علیھما السلام ) kay darmiyan das qaran thay aur who Sab islam par thay. ( Al Bidaya wal Nihayah: 1/94)

Qaranun say murad agar sadi ho, jaisey kay aksar hazraat kay kalam say zahir hai, Tab to un dono Anbiya kay darmiyan yaqeenan aik hazar saal ka fasla hoga. Laikn kaha ja sakta hai keh is mein is say zayadah muddat ki nafi nahi. Laikn in ka zikr Ibn-e-Abbas (رضی اللہ عنہ ) ne Ahl-e-Islam kay tor par kiya hai. Mumkin hai un kay baad aur kai sadiyaan hoon jin kay afraad islam par qaim nah rahy hoon. Albata Abu Umamah (رضی اللہ عنہ) ki Hadith say yeh maloom hota hai keh woh sirf das quroon thay aur Ibn-e-Abbas (رضی اللہ عنہ ) ne farmaya: “ Woh sab islam par thay.” Aur agar [qaran] say nasal murad li jaye, Jaisey mut,addid aayat mein yeh alfaz is mafhoom mein istimal howa hai. Maslan: Irshad-e–e-Baari Taala hai: وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا مِنَ الْقُرُوْنِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ نُوْحٍ  ۢۗ  “Aur hum ne Nooh kay baad buht si ummaton ko halak kar dala.” (Al Isra: 17/17)  aur mazeed farmaya  ثُمَّ اَنْشَاْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا اٰخَرِيْنَ  “phir un kay baad hum ne aik aur jama,at peda ki.” (Al Muminoon: 23/31) aur Irshad-e- Nabwi: [خیر القرون قرنی ] “behtreen nasal mere hum asar afraad hain.” (Sahih Bukhari, Al Shahadaat, Baab-o-La Yushado Ala Sahadat-e-Jaor Iza Ushida, Hadith: 2652) aur Nooh ( علیہ السلام) say pehle aik aik nasal kay log sadiyun tak zinda rehte thay. Is soorat mein Adam (  علیہ السلام) aur Nooh ( علیہ السلام) kay darmiyan hazaron saal ki muddat hogi. (  واللہ اعلم)

Baharhaal Allah Taala ne Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ko us waqt nubuwwat say sarfaraz farma kar mab,oos farmya jab butoon aur shetanon ki pooja shuru ho gayi aur logon ne gumrahi aur kufar ka rasta ikhtiyar kar liya. Chunancha Allah Taala ne bundon par rahmat farmate howe unhain mab,oos farmaya. Is tarah woh pehly Rasool thay jinhain zameen waloon ki taraf bheja gaya. Qayamat kay din Maidan-e-Hashr mein khade howe log bhi un say yahi baat karain gey. (Sahih Bukhari, Ahadith-ul-Anbiya, Baab qol Allah Taala (ولقد ارسلنا نوحا الی قومہ)….., Hadith: 3340)

 

Mukhtalif Suraton mein Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ka Zikr:

 

Allah Taala ne apni muqaddas kitab mein mut,addad maqamat par aap ka qissa bayan kiya hai keh aap ki qoum ne kya kuch kiya aur Allah Taala ne kufar karne wale par tufan ka kesa azaab bheja. Phir aap ko aur kashti waloon ko kis tarah nijat di. Maslan: Surah A,raf, Surah Yunus, Surah Hood, Surah Anbiya, Surah Mominoon, Surah Shu,ra, Surah Ankaboot, Surah Saffaat, Aur Surah Qamar mein aap ka zikr farmaya aur aik mukammal surat (Surah Nooh) Aap kay naam say nazil farmayi.

 

Allah Taala ne Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ko Paigam-e-Rabbani de kar un ki qoum ki taraf mab,oos farmaya to aap ne qoum ko yeh paigam bade ahsan andaz mein pohnchaya. Jis ka zikr Allah Taala Allah Taala ne Surah A,raf mein farmaya:

 

لَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا اِلٰي قَوْمِهٖ فَقَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗ  ۭ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ 59؀قَالَ الْمَلَاُ مِنْ قَوْمِهٖٓ اِنَّا لَنَرٰكَ فِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ   60؀قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِيْ ضَلٰلَةٌ وَّلٰكِنِّيْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ 61؀اُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسٰلٰتِ رَبِّيْ وَاَنْصَحُ لَكُمْ وَاَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ 62؀اَوَعَجِبْتُمْ اَنْ جَاۗءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ عَلٰي رَجُلٍ مِّنْكُمْ لِيُنْذِرَكُمْ وَلِتَتَّقُوْا وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ    63؀فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَنْجَيْنٰهُ وَالَّذِيْنَ مَعَهٗ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَاَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا  ۭاِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَوْمًا عَمِيْنَ   64؀ۧ

 

“Hum ne Nooh ko un ki qoum ki taraf bheja. To unhon ne (un say) kaha: Ae meri qoum! Allah ki ibadat karo, Us kay siwa tumhara koi ma,bood nahi. Mujhe tumhare bare mein bade din kay azaab ka (buht he) dar hai. To jo un ki qoum kay sardar thay, Woh kehne lagy keh hum tumhain sareeh gumrahi mein (mubtala) dekhte hain. Unhon ne kaha: Ae qoum! Mujh mein kisi tarah ki gumrahi nahi hai balkeh mein Parwardigaar-e-Aalam ka paighambar hoon. Tumhain apne parwardigaar kay paigamaat pohnchata hoon aur tumhari khair khuwahi karta hoon aur mujh ko Allah ki taraf say aesi batain maloom hain jin say tum be khabar ho. Kiya tum ko is baat say ta,jub howa hai keh tum mein say aik shaks kay hath tumhare Parwardigaar ki taraf say tumhare paas nasihat aai takeh woh tum ko daraye aur takeh tum parhaiz gaar bano aur takeh tum par rehm kiya jaye. Magar un logon ne un ki takzeeb ki to hum ne Nooh ko aur jo un kay sath kashti mein sawaar thay, Un ko to bacha liya aur jin logon ne hamari ayaton ko jhutlaya tha unhain garaq kar diya. Kuch shak nahi keh woh andhay log thay”  ( Al,A,raf: 7/59-64)

 

Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام ) ne qoum ko dawat haq di Unhon ne sachi dawat ko jhutlaya. Us par aap ne qoum ko dalail ki roshni mein Dawat-e-Ghour-o-Fikar di jis ka tazkarah Allah Taala ne Surah Yunus mein yun farmaya:

 

وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَاَ نُوْحٍ  ۘ اِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهٖ يٰقَوْمِ اِنْ كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُمْ مَّقَامِيْ وَتَذْكِيْرِيْ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ فَعَلَي اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَاَجْمِعُوْٓا اَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَاۗءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ اَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُوْٓا اِلَيَّ وَلَا تُنْظِرُوْنِ  71؀فَاِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَاَلْتُكُمْ مِّنْ اَجْرٍ ۭ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلَي اللّٰهِ ۙ وَاُمِرْتُ اَنْ اَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ      72؀فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَمَنْ مَّعَهٗ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنٰھُمْ خَلٰۗىِٕفَ وَاَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا  ۚ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِيْنَ  73؀

 

“Aur ( Ae Nabi) un ko Nooh ka qissa padh kar suna do. Jab Unhon ne apni qoum se kaha ke ae qoum! Agar tumhain mera tumhare haan rehna aur Allah ki ayaton say naseehat karna na gawar ho to mein to Allah par bharosa rakhta hoon. Tum apne shareekon kay sath mil kar aik kaam (jo mere bare  mein karna chaho) muqadar kar lo aur woh tumhari tamam jama,at (ko maloom ho jaye aur kisi) say posheeda nah rahy, Phir woh kaam mere haq mein kar guzro aur mujhe muhlat nah do. Aur agar tum ne munh phair liya (to janty ho keh) mein ne tum say kuch mu,awaza nahi manga. Mera mu,awaza to Allah kay zimme hai aur mujhe hukum howa hai keh mein farman bardaron mein say rahoon. Laikn un logo ne takzeeb ki to hum ne un kay sath kashti mein sawar thay, Sab ko (tufan say) bacha liya aur unhain (zameen mein) khaleefah bana diya aur jin logon ne hamari ayaton ko jhutlaya un ko garq kar diya so dekh lo keh jo log daraye gaye thay un ka anjaam kesa howa?” ( Yunus: 10/71-73)

 

Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام ) ki mudallal dawat ka inkar karne kay sath sath gumrah qoum ne Ajeeb-o-Gareeb dalail say galib aane ki saee la hasil ki. Nooh ( علیہ السلام ) ne un kay un batil istidlalaat ka nihayat shaafi jawab diya. jiasa keh surah Hood mein Allah Taala ne farmaya:

 

وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا اِلٰي قَوْمِهٖٓ ۡ اِنِّىْ لَكُمْ نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ   25؀ۙاَنْ لَّا تَعْبُدُوْٓا اِلَّا اللّٰهَ  ۭ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ اَلِيْمٍ     26؀فَقَالَ الْمَلَاُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ مَا نَرٰىكَ اِلَّا بَشَرًا مِّثْلَنَا وَمَا نَرٰىكَ اتَّبَعَكَ اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ اَرَاذِلُـنَا بَادِيَ الرَّاْيِ ۚ وَمَا نَرٰي لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ فَضْلٍۢ بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كٰذِبِيْنَ     27 ؀قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اَرَءَيْتُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُ عَلٰي بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّيْ وَاٰتٰىنِيْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِنْدِهٖ فَعُمِّيَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ  ۭ اَنُلْزِمُكُمُوْهَا وَاَنْتُمْ لَهَا كٰرِهُوْنَ    28 ؀وَيٰقَوْمِ لَآ اَسْـــَٔـلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَالًا  ۭ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلَي اللّٰهِ وَمَآ اَنَا بِطَارِدِ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا  ۭ  اِنَّهُمْ مُّلٰقُوْا رَبِّهِمْ وَلٰكِنِّيْٓ اَرٰىكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْـهَلُوْنَ     29؀وَيٰقَوْمِ مَنْ يَّنْصُرُنِيْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ اِنْ طَرَدْتُّهُمْ  ۭ اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ         30؀وَلَآ اَقُوْلُ لَكُمْ عِنْدِيْ خَزَاۗىِٕنُ اللّٰهِ وَلَآ اَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ وَلَآ اَقُوْلُ اِنِّىْ مَلَكٌ وَّلَآ اَقُوْلُ لِلَّذِيْنَ تَزْدَرِيْٓ اَعْيُنُكُمْ لَنْ يُّؤْتِيَهُمُ اللّٰهُ خَيْرًا  ۭ اَللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِيْٓ اَنْفُسِهِمْ ښ اِنِّىْٓ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ       31 ؀قَالُوْا يٰنُوْحُ قَدْ جٰدَلْتَنَا فَاَكْثَرْتَ جِدَالَنَا فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ   32؀قَالَ اِنَّمَا يَاْتِيْكُمْ بِهِ اللّٰهُ اِنْ شَاۗءَ وَمَآ اَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِيْنَ       33 ؀وَلَا يَنْفَعُكُمْ نُصْحِيْٓ اِنْ اَرَدْتُّ اَنْ اَنْصَحَ لَكُمْ اِنْ كَانَ اللّٰهُ يُرِيْدُ اَنْ يُّغْوِيَكُمْ  ۭ هُوَ رَبُّكُمْ  ۣ وَاِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ   34؀ۭاَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ افْتَرٰىهُ  ۭ قُلْ اِنِ افْتَرَيْتُهٗ فَعَلَيَّ اِجْرَامِيْ وَاَنَا بَرِيْۗءٌ مِّمَّا تُجْرِمُوْنَ   35؀ۧوَاُوْحِيَ اِلٰي نُوْحٍ اَنَّهٗ لَنْ يُّؤْمِنَ مِنْ قَوْمِكَ اِلَّا مَنْ قَدْ اٰمَنَ فَلَا تَبْتَىِٕسْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَفْعَلُوْنَ  36؀ښوَاصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِاَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا وَلَا تُخَاطِبْنِيْ فِي الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا  ۚ اِنَّهُمْ مُّغْرَقُوْنَ   37 ؀وَيَصْنَعُ الْفُلْكَ ۣ وَكُلَّمَا مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ مَلَاٌ مِّنْ قَوْمِهٖ سَخِرُوْا مِنْهُ  ۭقَالَ اِنْ تَسْخَرُوْا مِنَّا فَاِنَّا نَسْخَرُ مِنْكُمْ كَمَا تَسْخَرُوْنَ  38؀ۭفَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ  ۙ مَنْ يَّاْتِيْهِ عَذَابٌ يُّخْزِيْهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيْهِ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيْمٌ         39؀حَتّٰٓي  اِذَا جَاۗءَ اَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّوْرُ ۙ قُلْنَا احْمِلْ فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَاَهْلَكَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ وَمَنْ اٰمَنَ  ۭ وَمَآ اٰمَنَ مَعَهٗٓ اِلَّا قَلِيْلٌ  40؀وَقَالَ ارْكَبُوْا فِيْهَا بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ مَجْــرٖ۩ىهَا وَمُرْسٰىهَا  ۭ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ لَغَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ        41؀وَهِىَ تَجْرِيْ بِهِمْ فِيْ مَوْجٍ كَالْجِبَالِ  ۣ وَنَادٰي نُوْحُۨ ابْنَهٗ وَكَانَ فِيْ مَعْزِلٍ يّٰبُنَيَّ ارْكَبْ مَّعَنَا وَلَا تَكُنْ مَّعَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ     42؀قَالَ سَاٰوِيْٓ اِلٰي جَبَلٍ يَّعْصِمُنِيْ مِنَ الْمَاۗءِ  ۭ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ اَمْرِ اللّٰهِ اِلَّا مَنْ رَّحِمَ  ۚ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِيْنَ     43؀وَقِيْلَ يٰٓاَرْضُ ابْلَعِيْ مَاۗءَكِ وَيٰسَمَاۗءُ اَقْلِعِيْ وَغِيْضَ الْمَاۗءُ وَقُضِيَ الْاَمْرُ وَاسْـتَوَتْ عَلَي الْجُوْدِيِّ وَقِيْلَ بُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ    44؀وَنَادٰي نُوْحٌ رَّبَّهٗ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ ابْنِيْ مِنْ اَهْلِيْ وَاِنَّ وَعْدَكَ الْحَقُّ وَاَنْتَ اَحْكَمُ الْحٰكِمِيْنَ        45؀وَنَادٰي نُوْحٌ رَّبَّهٗ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ ابْنِيْ مِنْ اَهْلِيْ وَاِنَّ وَعْدَكَ الْحَقُّ وَاَنْتَ اَحْكَمُ الْحٰكِمِيْنَ    45؀قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّىْٓ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ اَسْـــَٔـلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِيْ بِهٖ  عِلْمٌ ۭ وَاِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِيْ وَتَرْحَمْنِيْٓ اَكُنْ مِّنَ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ   47؀قِيْلَ يٰنُوْحُ اهْبِطْ بِسَلٰمٍ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكٰتٍ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلٰٓي اُمَمٍ مِّمَّنْ مَّعَكَ ۭ وَاُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُمْ مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ   48؀تِلْكَ مِنْ اَنْۢبَاۗءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوْحِيْهَآ اِلَيْكَ ۚ مَا كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُهَآ اَنْتَ وَلَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ ھٰذَا   ړ فَاصْبِرْ  ړاِنَّ الْعَاقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ    49؀ۧ

 

“Aur hum ne Nooh ko un ki qoum ki taraf bheja ( to Unhon ne un se kaha ) keh mein tum ko khol khol kar dar sunanay ( aur pegham pohanchanay ) aaya hoon keh Allah ke siwa kisi ki ibadat nah karo, Mujhe tumhari nisbat dardnaak azaab ke din ka khauf hai. To un ki qoum ke sardar jo kafir thay kehnay lagey keh hum tum ko apne hi jaisa aik aadmi dekhte hain aur yeh bhi dekhte hain keh tumahray pairo kaar wahi log howe jo hum mein adna darjay kay aur mouti aqal walay hain aur hum tum mein apne uopar kisi tarhan ki fazeelat nahi dekhte balkay tumhe jhoota khayaal karte hain. Unhon ne kaha keh ae qoum! Dekho to agar mein apne Parwar-digaar ki taraf se Daleel ( roshan ) rakhta hoon aur us ne mujhe apne haan se rahmat bakhshi ho jis ki haqeeqat tum se posheeda rakhi gayi hai to kya hum is ke liye tumhe majboor kar satke hain aur tum ho keh is se nakhush ho rahay ho. Aur ae qoum! Mein is (naseehat) kay badlay tum se Maal-o-Zar ka khawahan nahi hoon, Mera sila to Allah ke zimmay hai aur jo log imaan laaye hain un ko nikaalne wala bhi nahi hoon woh to apne Parwar-digaar se milnay walay hain lekin mein daikhta hoon keh tum log nadani kar rahay ho. Aur Biradaran-e- Millat! Agar mein un ko nikaal doon to ( azaab ) ilahi se ( bachaanay ke liye ) kon meri madad kar sakta hai? Bhala tum Ghour kyun nahi karte? Aur mein tum se yeh nahi kehta hoon keh mere paas Allah ke khazanay hain aur nah yeh keh mein ghaib jaanta hoon aur nah yeh kehta hoon keh mein farishta hoon aur nah un logon ki nisbat jin ko tum haqarat ki nazar se dekhte ho, Yeh kehta hoon keh Allah un ko bhalai ( yani aamaal ki jazaye naik ) nahi day ga jo un ke dilon mein hai ise Allah khoob jaanta hai agar mein aisa kahoon to be insafon mein hoon. Unhon ne kaha keh Nooh! Tum ne hum se jhagda to kiya aur jhagda bhi bohat kiya, Lekin agar sachy ho to jis cheez se hamein darate ho woh hum par laa nazil karo. Nooh ne kaha keh is ko to Allah hi chahay ga to nazil kare ga aur tum ( is ko kisi tarhan ) hara nahi sakte. Aur agar mein yeh chahoon keh tumhari khair khuwahi karoon aur Allah yeh chahay keh tumhain gumraah kare to meri khair khuwahi tum ko kuch faida nahi day sakti, Wahi tumhara parwar-digaar hai aur tumhain isi ki taraf lout kar jana hai. Kya yeh kehte hain keh is (paighambar ) ne Quran apne dil se bana liya hai? Aap kahiye keh agar mein ne is ko ghada hai to mere gunah ka wabaal mujh par aur jo gunah tum karte ho is se mein Bari-ul-Zimma  hoon. Aur Nooh ki taraf wahi ki gayi keh tumhari qoum mein jo log imaan laa chuke ( laa chuke ) un kay siwa aur koi imaan nahi laaye ga to jo kaam yeh kar rahay hain un ki wajah se gham nah khao aur aik kashti hamaray hukum se hamaray rubaroo banaao. Aur jo log zalim hain un kay baray mein hum se kuch nah kehna kyun keh woh zaroor gharq kar diye jayen ge. To Nooh ne kashti banani shuru kar di. Aur jab un ki qoum kay sardar un ke paas se guzarte to un se tamaskhur karte. Woh ( Nooh ) kehte keh agar tum hum se tamaskhur karte ho to jis tarhan tum hum se tamaskhur karte ho isi tarhan ( aik waqt ) hum bhi tum se tamaskhur karain ge. So tum ko jald maloom ho jaye ga keh kis par azaab aata hai jo usay ruswa kare ga aur kis par hamesha ka azaab nazil hota hai? Yahan tak keh jab hamara hukum aa pohncha aur Tannoor josh maarny laga to hum ne ( Nooh ko ) hukum diya keh har qissam ( kay jandaroon ) mein se joda joda ( yani) do ( aik nar aur aik madah ) le lo. Aur jis shakhs ki nisbat hukum ho chuka hai ( keh halaak ho jaye ga ) us ko chode kar apne ghar walon ko aur jo imaan laya ho us ko kashti mein sawaar kar lo aur un kay sath imaan bohat hi kam log laaye thay. ( Nooh ne ) kaha keh Allah ka naam le kar (keh isi kay haath mein ) is ka chalna aur thehrna (hai ) is mein sawaar ho jao, Be shak mera parwar-digaar bakhsnay wala meharban hai. Aur woh un ko le kar ( tufaan ki ) lehron mein chalne lagi (lehrain kya then) goya pahad (thay ) is waqt Nooh ne apne betay ko jo kashti se alag tha pukara keh beta, Hamaray sath sawaar ho ja aur kafiroon mein shaamil nah ho. Us ne kaha keh anqareeb pahad ki taraf jagah pakadoon ga jo keh mujhe pani se bacha lay ga. Nooh ne kaha keh aaj Allah ke azaab se koi bachanay wala nahi ( aur nah koi bach sakta hai ) magar jis par Allah reham kare. Aur itnay mein dono ke darmiyan lehar aa haail howi so woh doob kar reh gaya. Aur hukum diya gaya keh ae zameen apna pani nikal ja aur ae aasman tham ja. To pani khushk ho gaya aur kaam tamam kar diya gaya aur kashti Jodi par ja thehri aur keh diya gaya keh be insaaf logon par laanat nazil ho. Aur Nooh ne apne parwar-digaar ko pukara aur kaha keh parwar-digaar! Mera beta bhi mere ghar walon mein say hai ( tu us ko bhi nijaat day ) tera wada sacha hai aur tu sab se behtar haakim hai. Allah ne farmaya keh Nooh woh tere ghar walon mein say nahi hai woh to na shaista af,aal ( wala ) hai to jis cheez ki tum ko haqeeqat maloom nahi, Us kay baray mein mujh se sawal hi nah karo. Aur mein tum ko naseehat karta hoon keh nadaan nah bano. Nooh ne kaha: Parwar-digaar! Mein tujh se panah mangta hoon keh aisi cheez ka tujh se sawal karoon jis ki mujhe haqeeqat maloom nahi aur agar tu mujhe nahi bakhshay ga aur mujh par reham nahi kare ga to mein tabah ho jaoon ga. Hukum  howa keh Nooh hamari taraf se salamti aur barkatoon kay sath ( jo ) tum par aur tumahray sath ki jamaaton par ( nazil ki gayi hain ) utar aao. Aur kuch aur jamaten hoon gi jin ko hum ( duniya ke fawaid se ) mahzooz karain ge, Phir un ko hamari taraf se dardnaak azaab pohnchy ga. Yeh ( halaat ) minjmala ghaib ki khabron kay hain jo hum aap ki taraf wahi karte rehte hain aur us say pehly nah tum hi un ko janty thay aur nah tumhari qoum (hi un say waqif thi) so sabar karo keh anjam parhaiz garon hi ka ( bhala) hai.” (Hood: 11/25-49)

 

Aur surah Anbiya mein farmaya:

 

وَنُوْحًا اِذْ نَادٰي مِنْ قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهٗ فَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَاَهْلَهٗ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيْمِ 76؀ۚوَنَــصَرْنٰهُ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا  ۭ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ 77؀

 

“Aur Nooh ( ka qissa bhi yaad karo) jab (us say) peshtar Unhon ne hum ko pukara to hum ne un ki dua qubool farmayi aur unhain aur un kay sathiyun ko badi ghabrahat say nijat di aur jo log hamari ayaton ki takzeeb karte thay, Un par nusrat bakhshi. Woh beshak bury log thay so hum ne un sab ko garq kar diya.” ( Anbiya: 21/76-77)

 

Dalail kay maidan mein shikast khane kay baad na farmaan qoum ne aap ko majnoo aur deewana keh kar jhutlaya to Nooh (علیہ السلام )  ne Dast-e-Dua daraz kar diye. surah Al Muminoon mein Irshad-e–e-Baari Taala hai:

 

وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهٖ فَقَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗ  ۭ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ 23؀فَقَالَ الْمَلَؤُا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ مَا ھٰذَآ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ ۙ يُرِيْدُ اَنْ يَّتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۭ وَلَوْ شَاۗءَ اللّٰهُ لَاَنْزَلَ مَلٰۗىِٕكَةً ښ مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِھٰذَا فِيْٓ اٰبَاۗىِٕنَا الْاَوَّلِيْنَ 24؀ۚاِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا رَجُلٌۢ بِهٖ جِنَّةٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوْا بِهٖ حَتّٰى حِيْنٍ 25؀قَالَ رَبِّ انْــصُرْنِيْ بِمَا كَذَّبُوْنِ 26؀فَاَوْحَيْنَآ اِلَيْهِ اَنِ اصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِاَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا فَاِذَا جَاۗءَ اَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّوْرُ ۙ فَاسْلُكْ فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَاَهْلَكَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُخَاطِبْنِيْ فِي الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا ۚ اِنَّهُمْ مُّغْرَقُوْنَ 27؀فَاِذَا اسْتَوَيْتَ اَنْتَ وَمَنْ مَّعَكَ عَلَي الْفُلْكِ فَقُلِ الْـحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ نَجّٰىنَا مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ 28؀وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اَنْزِلْنِيْ مُنْزَلًا مُّبٰرَكًا وَّاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنْزِلِيْنَ 29؀اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ وَّاِنْ كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِيْنَ 30؀

 

“Aur Hum ne Nooh ko un ki qoum ki taraf bheja to Unhon ne kaha keh ae qoum! Allah hi ki ibadat karo. Us kay siwa tumhara koi ma,bood nahi, Kiya tum darte nahi? To un ki qoum  kay sardar jo kafir thay kehne lagy: Yeh to tum hi jaisa aadmi hai, Tum par badai hasil karna chahta hai aur agar Allah chahta to farishty utar deta. Hum ne apne agly baap dada mein to yeh baat kabhi nahi suni thi. Is aadmi ko to dewangi (ka aarza) hai lihaza us kay bare mein kuch muddat intizar karo. Nooh ne kaha: Parwardigaar! Inhon ne mujhe jhutlaya hai tu meri madad kar. Phir hum ne un ki taraf wahi bheji keh hamare samne aur hamare hokum say kashti banao phir jab hamara hukum aa pohnchy aur tannoor (paani say bhar kar) josh marne lagy to sab (qisam kay haiwanat) mein say joda joda (yaani nar aur maada) do do kashti mein betha do aur apne ghar waloon ko bhi siway un kay jin ki nisbat un mein say ( halak hone ka) hukum sadir ho chukka hai. Aur zalimo kay bare mein hum say kuch nah kehna woh zaroor dabo diye jayain ge. Aur jab tum aur tumhare sathi kashti mein beth jao to ( Allah ka shukr ada karna aur ) kehna keh sab ta,reefain Allah hi kay liye hain, Jis ne hum ko zalim logon se nijat bakhshi aur ( yeh bhi) dua karna keh ae Parwardigaar! Hum ko Mubarak jaga utarna aur tu sab say behtar utarne wala hai. Beshak is (qisse) mein nishaniyan hain aur hammein to azmaish karni thi. ( Al Muminoon: 23/23-30)

 

Jahil aur qadar na shnaas qoum ne mushfiqana naseehat kay muqabile mein sangeen dhamkiyan dein to Nabi Mukaram ne apne Rabb say faryad kar di. Surah shu,ara mein Irshad-e–e-Baari Taala hai:
 
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوْحِۨ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ   ١٠٥؁ښاِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ نُوْحٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ  ١٠٦۝ۚاِنِّىْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِيْنٌ   ١٠٧؁ۙفَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ   ١٠٨۝ۚوَمَآ اَسْـَٔــلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ ۚ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلٰي رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ   ١٠٩۝ۚفَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ   ١١٠۝ۭقَالُـوْٓا اَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْاَرْذَلُوْنَ   ١١١۝ۭقَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِىْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ١١٢۝ۚاِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ اِلَّا عَلٰي رَبِّيْ لَوْ تَشْعُرُوْنَ    ١١٣۝ۚوَمَآ اَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١١٤۝ۚاِنْ اَنَا اِلَّا نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ١١٥؁ۭقَالُوْا لَىِٕنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَهِ يٰنُوْحُ لَتَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُوْمِيْنَ ١١٦؀ۭقَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ قَوْمِيْ كَذَّبُوْنِ   ١١٧؀ښ فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَّنَجِّـنِيْ وَمَنْ مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ   ١١٨؁فَاَنْجَيْنٰهُ وَمَنْ مَّعَهٗ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُوْنِ   ١١٩؀ۚ ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبٰقِيْنَ   ١٢٠؀ۭاِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً  ۭ وَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ   ١٢١؁وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ   ١٢٢؀ۧ

 

“Qoum-e-Nooh ne bhi paigambaron ko jhutlaya. Jab un say un kay bhai Nooh ne kaha keh tum darte kiyu nahi? Mein to tumhara amanatdar paigambar hoon. So Allah say daro aur mera kehna mano aur mein is kaam ka tum say koi sila to nahi mangta, Mera sila to Allah Rabb-ul-Aalmeen par hi par hai. So Allah say daro aur mere kehne par chalo. Woh bole keh kiya hum tum ko maan lain aur tumhare ta,bedar to razeel log hain. Nooh ne kaha: Mujhe kiya maloom woh kiya karte hain. Un ka hisab (aa,mal) mere parwardigaar kay zimme hai kash! Tum samjho aur mein momino ko nikal dene wala nahi hoon, Mein to sirf khol khol kar naseehat karne wala hoon. Unhon ne kaha keh Nooh! Agar tum baaz nah aao ge to sangsaar kar diye jao ge. Nooh ne kaha keh Parwardigaar! Meri qoum ne to mujhe jhutlaya, So tu mere aur un kay darmiyan aik khula fesla kar de aur mujhe aur jo mere sath hain un ko bacha le. Pas hum ne un ko aur jo un kay sath kashti mein sawar thay un ko bacha liya. Phir us kay baad baki logon ko garaq kar diya. Beshak us mein nishani hai aur un mein aksar iman lane waly nahi thay aur tumhara Parwardigaar to Galib (aur) Mehrbaan hai” (Al-shu,ara: 26/105-122)

 

Allah Taala ne apne Nabi ki faryad qubool kar kay muminon ki nijat aur munkaron ki tabahi ka saman kar diya.surah Saffaat mein Irshad-e–e-Baari Taala hai:

 

وَلَقَدْ نَادٰىنَا نُوْحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيْبُوْنَ 75؀ڮ وَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَاَهْلَهٗ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيْمِ 76؀ڮوَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهٗ هُمُ الْبٰقِيْنَ  77؀ڮوَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْاٰخِرِيْنَ 78؀ڮسَلٰمٌ عَلٰي نُوْحٍ فِي الْعٰلَمِيْنَ  79؀اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ  80؀اِنَّهٗ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ  81؀ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا الْاٰخَرِيْنَ 82؀

 

“Aur hum ko Nooh ne pukara, So ( dekh lo keh) hum (dua ko kese) ache qubool karne wale hain. Aur hum ne un ko aur un kay ghar waloon ko badi musibat say nijat di aur un ki aulad ko aesa kiya keh wahi baki reh gayi aur peche aane waloon mein un ka zikr (Jameel baki) chod diya. Salam hai Nooh par tamam dunya waloon mein, Nekokaron ko hum aesa hi badla diya karte hain. Beshak woh hamare momin bandon mein say thay phir hum ne dosron ko dabo diya.” ( Al- Saffaat: 37/75-82)

 

Aur surah Ankaboot mein farmaya:

 

وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهٖ فَلَبِثَ فِيْهِمْ اَلْفَ سَنَةٍ اِلَّا خَمْسِيْنَ عَامًا  ۭ فَاَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوْفَانُ وَهُمْ ظٰلِمُوْنَ   14؀فَاَنْجَيْنٰهُ وَاَصْحٰبَ السَّفِيْنَةِ وَجَعَلْنٰهَآ اٰيَةً لِّــلْعٰلَمِيْنَ 15؀

 

“Aur hum ne Nooh ko un ki qoum ki taraf bheja to woh un mein pachas baras kam hazar baras rahy, Phir un ko tufan (kay azaab) ne aa pakda aur woh zalim thay. Phir hum ne Nooh ko aur kashti waloon ko nijat di aur kashti ko Ahl-e-Aalam kay liye nishani bana diya.” ( Al Ankaboot: 29/ 14-15)

 

Aur surah Qamar mein mazeed farmaya:

 

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوْحٍ فَكَذَّبُوْا عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوْا مَجْنُوْنٌ وَّازْدُجِرَ   Ḍ۝فَدَعَا رَبَّهٗٓ اَنِّىْ مَغْلُوْبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ   10 ؀فَفَتَحْنَآ اَبْوَابَ السَّمَاۗءِ بِمَاۗءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ   11۝ڮوَّفَجَّــرْنَا الْاَرْضَ عُيُوْنًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاۗءُ عَلٰٓي اَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ   12۝ۚوَحَمَلْنٰهُ عَلٰي ذَاتِ اَلْوَاحٍ وَّدُسُرٍ 13۝ۙتَجْرِيْ بِاَعْيُنِنَا ۚ جَزَاۗءً لِّمَنْ كَانَ كُفِرَ   14؀وَلَقَدْ تَّرَكْنٰهَآ اٰيَةً فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ   15؀فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ   16؀وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ   17؀

 

“Un say pehle Nooh ki qoum ne bhi takzeeb ki thi to Unhon ne hamare bande ko jhutlaya aur kaha keh deewana hai aur unhain danta bhi to Unhon ne apne Parwardigaar say dua ki keh ( Baari Taala) mein (un kay muqabile mein) kamzoor hoon tu (un say) badla le. Pas hum ne zor kay meena say Aasman kay dahane khol diye aur Zameen mein chashme jaari kar diye to paani aik kaam kay liye jo muqaddar ho chuka tha jama ho gaya aur hum ne Nooh ko aik kashti par sawar kar liya jo takhton aur meekhon say tayyar ki gayi thi. Woh hamari aankhon kay samne chalti thi (yeh sab kuch) us shaks kay intiqam kay liye ( kiya gaya) jis ko kafir na mante thay. Aur hum ne us (waqe) ko aik ibrat bana choda to koi hai jo soche samjhe so ( dekh lo keh) mera azaab aur darana kesa howa. Aur hum ne Quran ko samjhne kay liye aasan kar diya hai to koi hai jo sochy samjhe?” (Al Qamar: 54/9-17)

Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne din raat qoum ko Dawat-e-Tuheed pohnchai, Unhain Allah Taala ki nematain yaad dilayi, Nizam-e-Kainaat mein Ghour-o-Fikr ki dawat di magar qoum ne Dawat-e-Haq qubool karne ki bajaye dushmani ki raah ikhtiyar ki aur apne Nabi ko sangeen dhamkiyan dein. Aakhir kaar Nabi Muhtaram ne mayus ho kar qoum ki Tabahi-o-Barbadi ki dua kar di. Surah Nooh mein Irshad-e-Baari Taala hai:

 

اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهٖٓ اَنْ اَنْذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يَّاْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ Ǻ۝قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اِنِّىْ لَكُمْ نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ   Ą۝ۙاَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ وَاتَّقُوْهُ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ   Ǽ۝ۙيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ مِّنْ ذُنُوْبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۭ اِنَّ اَجَلَ اللّٰهِ اِذَا جَاۗءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ  ۘ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ   Ć۝قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّىْ دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِيْ لَيْلًا وَّنَهَارًا  Ĉ۝ۙفَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَاۗءِيْٓ اِلَّا فِرَارًا   Č۝وَاِنِّىْ كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوْٓا اَصَابِعَهُمْ فِيْٓ اٰذَانِهِمْ وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَاَصَرُّوْا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا اسْتِكْبَارًا   Ċ۝ۚثُمَّ اِنِّىْ دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا  Ď۝ۙثُمَّ اِنِّىْٓ اَعْلَنْتُ لَهُمْ وَاَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ اِسْرَارًا   Ḍ۝ۙفَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوْا رَبَّكُمْ ۭ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ غَفَّارًا  10۝ۙيُّرْسِلِ السَّمَاۗءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّدْرَارًا   11۝ۙوَّيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِاَمْوَالٍ وَّبَنِيْنَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَّكُمْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّيَجْعَلْ لَّكُمْ اَنْهٰرًا  12۝ۭمَا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ وَقَارًا  13؀ۚوَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ اَطْوَارًا   14؀اَلَمْ تَرَوْا كَيْفَ خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ طِبَاقًا   15؀ۙوَّجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيْهِنَّ نُوْرًا وَّجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا    16؀وَاللّٰهُ اَنْۢبَتَكُمْ مِّنَ الْاَرْضِ نَبَاتًا   17؀ۙثُمَّ يُعِيْدُكُمْ فِيْهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ اِخْرَاجًا   18؀وَاللّٰهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ بِسَاطًا    19؀ۙلِّتَسْلُكُوْا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا   20؀ۧقَالَ نُوْحٌ رَّبِّ اِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِيْ وَاتَّبَعُوْا مَنْ لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهٗ وَوَلَدُهٗٓ اِلَّا خَسَارًا 21؀ۚوَمَكَرُوْا مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا   22؀ۚوَقَالُوْا لَا تَذَرُنَّ اٰلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَّلَا سُوَاعًا  ڏ وَّلَا يَغُوْثَ وَيَعُوْقَ وَنَسْرًا  23؀ۚوَقَدْ اَضَلُّوْا كَثِيْرًا   ڬ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ اِلَّا ضَلٰلًا  24؀مِمَّا خَطِيْۗـــٰٔــتِهِمْ اُغْرِقُوْا فَاُدْخِلُوْا نَارًا  ڏ فَلَمْ يَجِدُوْا لَهُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اَنْصَارًا  25؀وَقَالَ نُوْحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَي الْاَرْضِ مِنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ دَيَّارًا   26؀اِنَّكَ اِنْ تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوْا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوْٓا اِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا   27؀رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَّلِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ ۭ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ اِلَّا تَبَارًا  28؀ۧ

 

“Hum ne Nooh ko un ki qoum ki taraf bheja kay apni qoum kay logon ko khabar daar kar day peshtar is kay keh un par dard dainay wala azaab waqay ho. Unhon ne kaha keh ae qoum! Mein tum ko khulay tor par naseehat karta hoon keh Allah ki ibadat karo aur is say daro aur mera kaha mano, Woh tumahray gunah bakhash day ga aur ( mout kay) waqt muqadar tak tum ko mohlat ataa kare ga. Jab Allah ka muqadar kiya howa waqt ajata hai to takheer nahi hoti. Kash! Tum jantay hotay. Jab logon ne nah mana to ( Nooh ne ) Allah se arz ki keh parwar-digaar! Mein apni qoum ko din raat bulaataa raha lekin mere bulanay se woh aur zayada guraiz karte rahay, Jab bhi mein ne un ko bulaya kay ( tubah karen aur ) tu un ko maaf farmaiye to Unhon ne apne kaanon mein ungelian day len aur kapday oudh liye aur add gaye aur akad baithy. Phir mein un ko khulay tor par bulaataa raha aur zahir aur posheeda har tarhan samajhata raha. Aur kaha keh apne parwar-digaar se mafi mango keh woh bada maaf karne wala hai. Woh tum par Aasman se lagataar meena barsaye ga aur maal aur beton se tumhari madad farmaiye ga aur tumhe baagh ataa kere ga aur ( un mein ) tumahray liye nehrein baha day ga. Tum ko kya howa hai keh tum Allah ki Azmat ka aitqaad nahi rakhtay. Halaankeh us ne tum ko tarhan tarhan ( ki halaton) ka peda kiya hai. Kya tum ne nahi dekha keh Allah ne saat Aasman kaisay upar taley banaye hain. Aur chaand ko un mein ( Zameen ka ) noor banaya hai aur Sooraj ko chirag thehraya hai aur Allah hi ne tum ko zameen say peda kiya hai, Phir isi mein tumhain lota day ga aur ( isi say ) tum ko nikaal khada kare ga. Aur Allah hi ne Zameen ko tumahray liye farsh banaya taakeh us kay baday baday kushadah rustoon mein chalo phiro. ( is kay baad ) Nooh ne arz ki ke parwardigaar! Yeh log mere kehnay par nahi chalay aur aeson kay tabay howe jin ko un kay Maal-o-Aulaad ne nuqsaan kay siwa kuch nahi diya aur woh badi badi chaalein chalay aur kehnay lagey keh apne ma,bodon ko hargiz nah chofna aur Wadd aur Suw,a aur Yaghus aur Ya,ooq aur Nasar ko bhi tark nah karna. ( parwardigaar! ) Unhon ne bohat logon ko gumraah kar diya hai. To tu un ko aur zayada gumraah kar day. ( aakhir ) woh apne gunaaho kay sabab hi garqaab kar diye gaye. Phir aag mein daal diye gaye. To Unhon ne Allah ke siwa kisi ko apna madadgaar nah paaya. Aur ( phir ) Nooh ne ( yeh ) dua ki ke mere parwardigaar! kisi kafir ko roye Zameen par basa nah rehne day. Agar tu un ko rehne day ga to tairay bundon ko gumraah karen ge aur un say jo aulaad hogi woh bhi badkaar aur na shukar guzaar hi ho gi. Ae mere parwardigaar! Mujh ko aur mere maan baap ko aur jo imaan laa kar mere ghar mein aaye us ko aur tamam imaan walay mardon aur imaan wali aurton ko maaf farma. Aur zalim logon kay liye aur zayada tabahi badha..”  ( Nooh : 71/1-28)

 

Duniya Mein Butt Parasti Ka Aaghaz

 

Pehlay bayan ho chuka hai kay Adam (علیہ السلام ) aur Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay darmiyan das Qaran thay, Jo sab islam par qaim thay. Aur yeh bhi bayan kiya ja chuka hai keh qaran say murad nasal ya sadi hai.

Un naik logon kay baad aisay waqeat paish aaye jin kay nateejay mein log butt parasti mein mubtala ho gaye. Is tabdeeli ka sabab us riwayat se wazih hota hai jo imam Bukhari ( رحمہ اللہ) ne is Ayat-e-Mubarikah ki Tafseer mein zikar farmayi hai:

 

وَقَالُوْا لَا تَذَرُنَّ اٰلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَّلَا سُوَاعًا  ڏ وَّلَا يَغُوْثَ وَيَعُوْقَ وَنَسْرًا  23؀ۚ

 

“Aur kehnay lagey keh apne ma,bodon ko hargiz nah chodna aur Wadd aur Suwa,a aur Yaghus aur Ya,ooq aur Nasar ko bhi kabhi tark nah karna. “ ( Nooh: 71/23 )

Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas ( رضی اللہ عنہما) ne farmaya: Yeh Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ki qoum ke baaz naik admion kay naam hain. Jab woh faut ho gaye to shetan ne un ki qoum kay dil mein yeh baat daali keh jahan woh hazraat betha karte thay, Wahan butt bana kar rakh do, Aur un kay wahi naam rakh do jo un buzurgon kay thay. Unhon ne aisa hi kya. Us waqt buton ki pooja nahi howi. Jab woh log faut ho gaye aur ilm mit gaya tab un ki pooja honay lagi. Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas  (رضی اللہ عنہما) ne farmaya: “Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ki qoum kay yahi buut baad mein arab mein poje gaye .” (Sahih Bukhari,Al Tafseer, Baab (  ودا ولا سواعا ولا یغوث و یعوق), Hadith: 4920)

Imam Ibn-e- Jareer ( رحمہ اللہ)  ne apni Tafseer mein Mohammad Ban Qais ( رحمہ اللہ) se riwayat ki hai, Unhon ne farmaya:  “Yeh Hazraat Adam (علیہ السلام ) aur Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay darmiyan kay Zamana kay Auliya-e-Kiraam thay. Un kay kuch peirokaar bhi thay jo un kay tareeqay par chaltay thay. Jab woh faut ho gaye to un kay ( aqeedat mand ) pirokaron ne kaha: Agar hum un ki taswerain banayen, To un ki yaad ki wajah say hamein ibadat ka shoq zayada ho ga. Chunancha Unhon ne un ki taswerain banayen. Jab yeh (taswerain bananay walay afraad ) faut ho gaye aur un ki jagah dosray log aagaye to Iblees ne un  kay dilon mein waswasa dala keh tumahray baap dada in Auliya-e-Kiraam ki ibadat kiya karte thay aur unhi ki wajah se inhen barish millti thi. Chunancha un logon ne un ki ibadat shuru kar di.” (Tafseer Tibiri: 14/122, Tafseer Surah Nooh, Ayat: 23,24)

Abu ul Mutahhir say riwayat hai keh Abu Jafar Mohammad Baqar namaz padh rahay thay keh hazreen ne Yazid Bin Muhallab ka zikar kiya. Namaz say farigh ho kar Unhon ne farmaya: Tum ne Yazid Bin Muhallab ka zikar kiya hai, Woh is ilaqay mein qatal howe hain jahan sab say pehlay ghairullah ki pooja howi thi. Unhon ne Wadd kay baray mein farmaya: “Woh aik naik aadmi tha, Jo qoum mein har dil Aziz tha, Jab woh faut ho gaya to log Babul mein is ki qabar par baith gaye aur bohat zayada gamgheen howe. Jab Iblees ne un ka gham dekha to insani soorat mein un kay paas aakar kehnay laga: Mein dekh raha hoon keh tum in sahib ki wafaat par bohat dil giriftaa ho. To kya mein tumhe us jaisi aik soorat nah bana dun, Jo us ki jagah rakhi jaye aur woh us ki yaadgaar ban jaye?” Unhon ne kaha : “Han! Bana do.” Us ne Wadd ka aik butt bana diya. Unhon ne usay chopaal mein rakh liya aur usay yaad karne aur us ki baatein karne lagey. Jab Iblees ne dekha keh log Wadd ko bohat yaad karte hain to kaha: “Kiya mein tum mein se har shakhs kay ghar mein is tarhan ka aik mujasma nah banadoon, Jis ko dekh kar woh usay yaad kare? Unhon ne kaha haan ( bana do) us ne har shakhs kay ghar mein aik butt bana diya. Woh us ko dekh kar us ( Allah ke walii Wadd ) ko yaad karte thay. Jab un kay betay baday howe to Unhon ne apne buzurgon ko un ( buton ) ko ahmiyat dete dekha ( to woh bhi isi tarhan ahmiyat dete rahay ) hatta keh agli naslon kay log is baat se be khabar ho gaye keh un kay buzurag unhain kyun yaad karte thay. Albata Unhon ne aahista aahista un ki ibadat shuru kar di. Chunancha sab se pehlay jis makhlooq ki ibadat ki gayi, Woh Wadd ka buzurag ka butt tha.” (Tafseer Ibn-e-Abi Hatim: 10/3376)

Is tafseel se maloom hota hai keh har butt ko poojnay wali aik alag jamaat thi. Yeh bhi kaha jata hai keh jab taweel zamana guzar gaya to Unhon ne tasweeron ki jagah mujassam butt bana liye taakeh zayada der tak qaim reh saken. ( yani pehlay taswerain banai gayi theen, Baad mein tasweeron kay mit jane kay khauf se mujasmay banaye gaye) baad mein un ki ibadat honay lagi. Un kay haan un ki ibadat kay bohat say tareeqay thay jin ka zikar hum ne Tafseer mein mutalliqa maqamat par kiya hai.

Hazrat Umm-e-Salima aur Umm-e-Habiba ( رضی اللہ عنھما) ne habsha mein jo girja dekha tha, Us ka zikar Rasoolullah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)  se kiya. Us ka naam “Maria” tha. Unhon ne us ki khoubsurti ka zikar kiya aur us mein jo taswerain theen un ka zikar kiya. To Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ne farmaya: “Un logon mein jab koi naik aadmi faut ho jata tha to us ki qabar par masjid ( ibadat gaah ) taameer karte thay aur us mein yeh taswerain banatay thay. Allah ke haan yeh log makhloqaat mein bad tareen hain. (Sahih Bukhari, Al salah, Baab-o-Hal Tunbasho Quboor-o-Muskrik-e-Al Jahiliyyati….., Hadith: 427, Sahih Muslim: Al Masajid, Baab-ul-Nahi An Binaa-e-Al Masajid Ala-al-Quboori….., Hadith: 528)

 

Nooh ( علیہ السلام)  ki qoum ko Dawat-e-Tuheed

 

Jab Zameen mein kharabi phel gayi aur butt purasti ki waba aam ho gayi to Allah Taala ne apne bandy aur apne Rasool Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ko maboos farmaya, Jo aik Allah ki ibadat ki taraf bulanay lagey, Jis ka koi shareek nahi aur us kay siwa har cheez ki ibadat se mana karne lagey.

Chunancha aap pehlay Rasool hain jinhein Allah Taala ne zameen walon ki taraf bheja. Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضی اللہ عنہ ) say marwi hadees mein hai keh Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ne farmaya: “Jab log Adam ( علیہ السلام) ke paas ayen ge aur kahain ge: Ae Adam! Aap tamam insanon kay waalid hain, Aap ko Allah ne apne haath se peda farmaya, Aap ke andar apni ( peda ki howi khaas ) rooh daali aur farishton se Aap ko sajda karwaya aur Aap ko jannat mein thehraya. Kiya Aap Allah ke huzoor hamari Shafa,at nahi karen ge? kiya Aap nahi dekh rahe keh hum kis museebat mein girftar hain aur woh museebat kis had tak pahonch chuki hai? Adam ( علیہ السلام) farmayain ge: “Mera Rabb aaj sakht ghuse mein hai. Is se pehlay kabhi is qader jalal mein nahi aaya, Nah aindah kabhi aaye ga, Us ne mujhe aik darakht se mana kiya tha, Lekin mein ne hukum aduli ki. Haye meri jaan! Meri jaan! Kisi aur kay paas jao, Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ke paas chalay jao” Log Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ke paas jayen ge aur kahin ge: “Ae Nooh! Aap zameen walon ki taraf maboos honay walay pehlay Rasool hain. Allah Taala ne Aap ka naam “shukar guzaar bandah” rakha hai. Kiya Aap nahi dekh rahay keh hum kis museebat mein girftar hain aur woh kis had ko pahonch chuki hai? kiya Aap Allah kay darbaar mein hamari Shafa,at nahi karen ge? Nooh ( علیہ السلام) farmayain ge: “Mera Rabb aaj sakht guse mein hai. Is se pehlay kabhi is qader jalal mein nahi aaya, Nah aindah aaye ga. haye meri jaan! Meri jaan!…….. Aakhir tak poori hadees bayan farmayi. ( Sahih Bukhari, Al Tafseer, Baab (ذریۃ من حملنا مع نوح۔۔۔۔الخ  ) Hadith: 4712)

jab Allah taala ne Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ko maboos farmaya to Unhon ne logon ko Allah wahdahu laa shreek ki ibadat karne ko kaha aur yeh farmaya keh woh Allah ke sath kisi butt, Mujasmay ya Taghoot ki pooja nah karen. Us ki wahdaniyat ka iqraar karen aur yeh tasleem karen keh us kay siwa koi ibadat kay Laiq hai nah koi Rabb hai.

Un ki aulaad mein maboos honay walay dosray Anbiya-e-Kiraam ( علیھم السلام) ko bhi Allah ne yahi hukum diya tha. Allah taala ne Nooh aur Ibrahim ( علیھما السلام)  kay bare mein farmaya:

 

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيْ ذُرِّيَّـتِهِمَا النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتٰبَ

 

“Hum ne un dono ki aulaad mein nubuwwat aur kitaab rakh di. “ ( Al Hadeed: 57/26 ) yani Nooh (علیہ السلام) kay baad anay wala har Nabi un ki aulaad say tha aur yahi shaan Ibrahim ( علیہ السلام) ki hai.

 

Irshad-e- Rabbani hai:

 

وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِيْ كُلِّ اُمَّةٍ رَّسُوْلًا اَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوْتَ

 

“Aur hum ne har jamaat mein paighambar bheja keh Allah hi ki ibadat karo aur buton (ki parastish) say ijtinab karo.” (Al Nahal: 16/36)

 

Aur mazeed Irshad hai:

 

وَسْـَٔــلْ مَنْ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُّسُلِنَآ اَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُوْنِ الرَّحْمٰنِ اٰلِهَةً يُّعْبَدُوْنَ      45؀ۧ

 

“Aur Ae Mohammad! Jo paighambar hum ne tujh se pehlay bheje hain un se daryaft kar lo keh kiya hum ne Allah kay siwa aur mabood banaye thay keh un ki ibadat ki jaye.” (Al zukhraf: 43/45)

 

Aur mazeed farmaya:

 

وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رَّسُوْلٍ اِلَّا نُوْحِيْٓ اِلَيْهِ اَنَّهٗ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنَا فَاعْبُدُوْنِ 25؀

 

“Aur jo paighambar hum ne tujh say pehlay bheje un ki taraf yahi wahi bhaije hai kay mere siwa koi mabood nahi, So meri hi ibadat karo.” (Al Anbya: 20/25)

 

Isi liye Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne apni qoum se farmaya tha :

 

اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗ  ۭ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ 59؀

 

“ Allah ki ibadat karo Us kay siwa tumhara koi mabood nahi. Mujhe tumahray baray mein baday din kay azaab ka ( bohat hi)  dar hai.” ( Al A,raf: 7/59)

 

Mazeed farmaya:

 

اَنْ لَّا تَعْبُدُوْٓا اِلَّا اللّٰهَ  ۭ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ اَلِيْمٍ     26؀

 

“Tum sirf Allah hi ki ibadat karo mujhe to tum par dardnaak din ke azaab ka khauf hai.” ( Hood: 11/26)

 

In ayaat mein Allah Ta,ala ne yeh bayan farmaya hai keh Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne logon ko har tarhan tableegh ki. Raat ko bhi aur din ko bhi, Tanhai mein bhi aur alania bhi, Targheeb kay zariye say bhi aur tarheeb kay zariye say bhi, Lekin koi tareeqa kargar nah howa balkay aksar log gumraahi, Sarkashi aur butt parasti par aday rahay. Har waqt aap se dushmani karte rahay, Aap ko aur aap par imaan laane walon ko bura bhala kehte rahay, Unhen shaheed kar dainay aur jala watan kar dainay ki dhamkian dete rahay, Un ki be izzati karte aur zayada say zayada takleefain dete rahay.

 

Nabi ki khair khuwahi aur qoum ka inaad:

 

Nabi ki khair khuwahi aur Narmi-o-Piyar kay bawajood aap ki qoum kay jo baday sardar thay, Unhon ne kaha: إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ “Hum aap ko wazih gumraahi mein dekhte hain. ( Al A,raf: 7/60) Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne jawab diya:

 

قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِيْ ضَلٰلَةٌ وَّلٰكِنِّيْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ 61؀

 

“Ae qoum mujh mein kisi tarhan ki gumraahi nahi balkay mein Parwardigaar-e-Aalam ka paighambar hon. (Al A,raf: 7/61 ) Yani tumhara yeh khayaal ghalat hai kay mein gumraah hoon balkay mein Rabb-ul-Aalmeen ki taraf say sahih hidayat par qaim hoon jo har cheez ko [کن] keh kar peda kar laita hai. Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne mazeed farmaya:

 

اُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسٰلٰتِ رَبِّيْ وَاَنْصَحُ لَكُمْ وَاَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ 62؀

 

“Mein tumhain apne Parwardigaar kay pegham pohanchata hoon aur tumhari khair khuwahi karta hoon aur mujh ko Allah ki taraf se aisi baatein maloom hain jin say tum be khabar ho. (Al A,raf: 7/62)

 

Rasool ki yahi shaan hoti hai ke Fasih-o-Baleegh bhi ho aur naseehat karne wala khair khuwah bhi ho aur usay Allah ( ki Azmat-o-Shan aur sifaat ) ka ilm bhi sab se zayada hota hai. Qoum ke sardaro ne aitraaz karte howe kaha:

 

وَمَا نَرٰىكَ اتَّبَعَكَ اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ اَرَاذِلُـنَا بَادِيَ الرَّاْيِ ۚ وَمَا نَرٰي لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ فَضْلٍۢ بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كٰذِبِيْنَ     27 ؀

 

“Aur hum yeh bhi dekhte hain keh tumahray pairo kaar wahi log howe hain jo hum mein adna darjay kay hain aur woh bhi raye zahir say ( nah Ghour-o-Fikar say ) aur hum tum mein apne uopar kisi tarhan ki fazeelat nahi dekhte balkay tumhe jhoota khayaal karte hain” ( Hood: 11/27 )

Unhen is baat par herat thi keh aik insaan Allah ka Rasool hai. woh Nooh  (علیہ السلام ) kay muttaba,een ki tauheen karte thay aur unhen kamtar samajte thay. Aik qoul ke mutabiq yeh afraad kamzor log thay, Jaisay keh Hiraqal ne kaha tha: “Kamzor hi Rasoolun ki pairwi karne walay hotay hain.” (Sahih Bukhari, Bad-ul-Wahi, Baab-o-Kaifa Kana Bad-ul-Wahi….., Hadith: 7) is ki wajah yeh hai keh un kay liye haq ki qabuliat kay rastay mein koi rukawat nahi hoti.

بَادِيَ الرَّاْيِ  ka matlab yeh hai keh ( ae Nooh ) un logon ne aap kay daaway ko soochey samjhay baghair qubool kar liya hai. Haqeeqat yeh hai keh jis cheez ko Unhon ne aib qarar diya hai, Wahi un hazraat ka Qabil-e-Tareef Wasf hai. Allah un say raazi howa. Kyun kay haq itna wazih hota hai keh usay samajhney kay liye kisi Ghour-o-Fikar aur Tammul-o-Takheer ki zaroorat hi nahi hoti balkay jab woh samnay aajaye usay maan lena aur us ki pairwi karna zaroori hota hai.

Rasoolullah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)  ne isi wajah se Siddeeq ( رضی اللہ عنہ) ki tareef karte howe farmaya tha: “Mein ne jisay bhi islam ki dawat di, Woh ( us ki taraf atay howe ) jhijhka magar Abu Baker (رضی اللہ عنہ) ki zubaan zara nahi ruki ( foran qubool kar liya.” (Al Bidayah wal Nihayah: 1/101)

 

Yahi wajah hai kay Saqeefa bano Saidah mein ijtima kay mauqa par Aap ( رضی اللہ عنہ) ki baet bhi foran hogayi. Hazreen ko sochnay samajhney aur Ghour-o-Fikar karne ki zaroorat paish nahi aayi kyunkeh Sahaba Kiraam ( رضی اللہ عنھم) ki nazar mein Aap ( رضی اللہ عنہ) ki afzaleeyat bilkul zahir aur wazih thi. Aur kHood Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ne pehlay Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddeeq ( رضی اللہ عنہ) ki khilafat kay baray mein tahreer likhwanay ka iradah farmaya. Phir yeh farmatay howe iradah tark farma diya kay Allah aur momin Abu Bakar ( رضی اللہ عنہ) kay siwa kisi par raazi nahi hoon ge.” ( Sahih muslim, Fazail-e-Sahabah, Baab Minn Fazail-e-Abi Bakar Al Siddeeq  رضی اللہ عنہ, Hadith: 2383, Sunan Abi Dawood, Al Sunnah, Baab Fi Istikhlaf-e-Abi Bakar, Hadith: 4660)

Nooh ( علیہ السلام) kay kafiroon ne apne Nabi aur mominon kay baray mein kaha : وَمَا نَرٰي لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ فَضْلٍۢ: “aur hum par tumhari koi fazeelat hamein nazar nahi aati.”(Hood:27/11)  is ka matlab yeh tha kay imaan laane kay baad tumhain hum par koi bartari haasil nahi howi بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كٰذِبِيْنَ  “balkay hum to tumhain jhoota samajte hain.”

Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ka mushfiqana khitaab: Aap ne qoum ki taraf se intihai sakht aur na Qabil-e-Bardasht rawayye ke bawajood bade hosily aur sabar kay sath unhen samjhane aur Ghour-o-Fikar ki dawat dete howe farmaya:

 

قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اَرَءَيْتُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُ عَلٰي بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّيْ وَاٰتٰىنِيْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِنْدِهٖ فَعُمِّيَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ  ۭ اَنُلْزِمُكُمُوْهَا وَاَنْتُمْ لَهَا كٰرِهُوْنَ    28 ؀

 

“Ae meri qoum! Dekho to agar mein apne Parwardigaar ki taraf se daleel ( roshan ) rakhta hoon aur us ne mujhe apne haan say rahmat bakhshi ho jis ki haqeeqat tum say posheeda rakhi gayi hai to kya hum is ( ko man,ne ) ke liye tumhain majboor kar sakte hain jabkay tum is say nakhush ho rahy ho.”  ( Hood: 11/28)

Yeh un se khitaab karne mein naram usloob ka andaaz hai aur unhen haq ki taraf bulanay mein naram rawayye ka izhaar hai jaisay Allah Ta,aala ne Hazrat Moosa aur Haroon (علیھا السلام )  say Firaon ki baabat farmaya tha:

 

فَقُوْلَا لَهٗ قَوْلًا لَّيِّنًا لَّعَلَّهٗ يَتَذَكَّرُ اَوْ يَخْشٰى 44؀

 

“Us say narmi se baat karna shayad woh ghour kare ya dar jaye.”  (Taha: 20/44 ) Allah Ta,aala ne Aakhirzaman Paighambar Hazrat Mohammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ko bhi naram usloob aur naram rawayya apnane ki Hidayaat farmai theen.

 

Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

اُدْعُ اِلٰى سَبِيْلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتِيْ هِىَ اَحْسَنُ

 

“( Ae paighambar! ) logon ko Danish aur naik naseehat say apne Parwardigaar ki taraf bulaao aur bohat hi achay tareeqay se un say manazra karo.” ( Al Nahal: 16/125) Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ka mazkoorah baala khitaab bhi isi qabeel say hai. Yani mein tumhain aisi cheez pohncha raha hoon jis mein tumhara duniya aur akhirat ka faida hai is amal kay badlay mein tum say koi ujrat nahi mangta. Mein yeh cheez sirf Allah say mangta hoon. Is ka sawab mere liye behtar hai aur woh is say zayada baqi rehne wala hai jo kuch tum mujhe day satke ho. Nooh (علیہ السلام )  ne farmaya :

 

وَمَآ اَنَا بِطَارِدِ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا  ۭ  اِنَّهُمْ مُّلٰقُوْا رَبِّهِمْ وَلٰكِنِّيْٓ اَرٰىكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْـهَلُوْنَ     29؀

 

“Mein imaan walon ko apne paas say nahi nikaal sakta. Unhen apne Rabb say milna hai lekin mein daikhta hoon kay tum log jahalat kar rahay ho.” ( Hood: 11/29 )

 

Is ayat say maloom hota hai kay Unhon ne mutalba kiya tha kay Nooh (علیہ السلام ) mominon ko apne paas say hata den aur wada kiya kay agar woh is mutalbe ko tasleem kar len to woh un kay paas bethain ge. Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne yeh mutalba radd kar diya aur farmaya: اِنَّهُمْ مُّلٰقُوْا رَبِّهِمْ “Unhen apne Rabb say milna hai.” Yani agar mein ne inhen hataya to mujhe khauf hai kay Allah Ta,aala naraaz hoga. أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ “Kya tum samajte nahi?” (Hood: 11/30)

Kuffar-e-Quraish ne bhi Nabi (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say mutalaba kiya tha kay aap Ammaar, Sohaib, Bilal, Khabbab ( رضی اللہ عنھم ) aur aisay dosray hazraat ko apne paas say utha den to Allah Ta,aala ne Nabi (علیہ السلام ) ko yeh baat maan,ne se mana farma diya. Jaisay keh surah Kahaf aur surah Anaam mein mazkoor hai. Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne apni qoum se mazeed farmaya:

 

وَلَآ اَقُوْلُ لَكُمْ عِنْدِيْ خَزَاۗىِٕنُ اللّٰهِ وَلَآ اَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ وَلَآ اَقُوْلُ اِنِّىْ مَلَكٌ وَّلَآ اَقُوْلُ لِلَّذِيْنَ تَزْدَرِيْٓ اَعْيُنُكُمْ لَنْ يُّؤْتِيَهُمُ اللّٰهُ خَيْرًا  ۭ اَللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِيْٓ اَنْفُسِهِمْ ښ اِنِّىْٓ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ   31 ؀

 

“Aur mein nah tum say yeh kehta hoon kay mere paas Allah kay khazanay hain aur nah yeh kay mein ghaib jaanta hoon aur nah yeh kehta hoon kay mein farishta hoon. Aur nah un logon ki nisbat jin ko tum haqarat ki nazar say dekhte ho yeh kehta hoon kay Allah un ko bhalai ( yani aamaal ki jazaye naik ) nahi day ga. Jo un kay dilon mein hai usay Allah khoob jaanta hai. Agar mein aisa kahoon to be insafon mein hoon. ( Hood: 11/31 )

Yani mein to Rasool-e-Abad ( pegham pohanchanay wala bandah ) hoon mujhe sirf itna hi ilm hai jitna Allah ne mujhe sikhaya aur sirf itni hi taaqat hai jitni Allah ne di mein to Allah ki marzi kay khilaaf apne Nafa-o-Nuqsaan ka bhi maalik nahi. Aur nah mein yeh kehta hoon kay mere pirokaron kay liye qayamat ko Allah ke haan koi Naimat nahi hogi, Un kay baray mein Allah zayada jaanta hai keh un kay dilon mein kiya hai? Woh neki ka acha badla day ga aur gunah ka bura badla day ga. Dosray maqamat par mazkoor hai keh un logon ne kaha:

 

اَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْاَرْذَلُوْنَ   ١١١۝ۭ قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِىْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ    ١١٢۝ۚ اِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ اِلَّا عَلٰي رَبِّيْ لَوْ تَشْعُرُوْنَ ١١٣۝ۚ وَمَآ اَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١١٤۝ۚ اِنْ اَنَا اِلَّا نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ١١٥؁ۭ

 

“Kya hum tum ko maan len halaank tumahray pairo kaar to razeel log hain. Nooh ne kaha: Mujhe kya maloom keh woh kiya karte hain. Un ka hisaab mere Parwardigaar kay zimmay hai kash! Tum samjhoo. Aur mein mominon ko nikaal dainay wala nahi hon, Mein to sirf khol khol kar naseehat karne wala hoon.”  ( Al shu,ra: 26/111-115)

 

Jab Qoum Ne Khood Azaab Manga

 

Sadiyan beet gayeen, Lekin Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ka qoum say Behas-o-Mobahasa chalta raha. Jaisay keh Allah Ta,aala ne farmaya hai:

 

فَلَبِثَ فِيْهِمْ اَلْفَ سَنَةٍ اِلَّا خَمْسِيْنَ عَامًا  ۭ فَاَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوْفَانُ وَهُمْ ظٰلِمُوْنَ   14؀

 

“So woh  un mein pachaas baras kam hazaar baras rahay phir un ko tufaan ( kay azaab ) ne aa pakda aur woh zalim thay.” (Al Ankabut: 29/14 ) Yani itni taweel muddat guzar jane kay baad thosay say afraad imaan laaye.

 

 Jab aik nasal kay log martay to woh baad walon ko yeh wasiyat kar jatay thay kay Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام) par imaan nah lana, Un say jhagadte aur un ki mukhalifat karte rehna. Jab kisi ka bacha bada hota aur us ki baatein samjhne lagta to baap apne betay ko yahi naseehat karta tha kay zindagi bhar Nooh (علیہ السلام ) par imaan nah lana.

 

Un ki fitrat aisi ban gayi thi kay jisay imaan aur haq ki qabuliat kisi soorat gawara nah thi. Isi liye Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ne farmaya:

 

وَلَا يَلِدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا فَاجِرًۭا كَفَّارًۭا

 

“( Ae Allah ) un say jo aulaad hogi woh bhi badkaar aur na shukar guzaar hogi. Yahi wajah thi kay Unhon ne kaha:

 

يٰنُوْحُ قَدْ جٰدَلْتَنَا فَاَكْثَرْتَ جِدَالَنَا فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ   32؀ قَالَ اِنَّمَا يَاْتِيْكُمْ بِهِ اللّٰهُ اِنْ شَاۗءَ وَمَآ اَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِيْنَ   33 ؀

 

“Ae Nooh! Tum ne hum say jhagda to kiya aur jhagda bhi bohat kiya. Lekin agar sachay ho to jis cheez say hamein darate ho woh hum par laa nazil karo. Nooh ne kaha is ko to Allah hi chahay ga to nazil kare ga. Aur tum ( is ko kisi tarah ) hara nahi sakte.” (Hood: 11/32-33)

 

Yani azaab lana sirf Allah kay haath mein hai. Wahi hai jo kisi kaam say aajiz nahi aur koi kaam us kay liye mushkil nahi balkay woh jis cheez ko [ کن ] kehta hai, Woh ho jati hai.

 

Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ne apni qoum ko mazeed mutmaen karne kay liye farmaya:

 

وَلَا يَنْفَعُكُمْ نُصْحِيْٓ اِنْ اَرَدْتُّ اَنْ اَنْصَحَ لَكُمْ اِنْ كَانَ اللّٰهُ يُرِيْدُ اَنْ يُّغْوِيَكُمْ  ۭ هُوَ رَبُّكُمْ  ۣ وَاِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ   34؀ۭ

 

“Meri khair khuwahi tumhain kuch bhi nafa nahi day sakti go mein kitni hi tumhari khair khuwahi kyun nah chahoon bashart yekah Allah ka iradah tumhain gumraah karne ka ho. Wahi tum sab ka Parwardigaar hai aur usi ki taraf lout,tay jao ge.” ( Hood: 11/34 ) Yani Allah Ta,aala jisay azmaish mein daalna chahay usay koi hidaayat nahi day sakta. Wahi jisay chahta hai hidaayat deta hai aur jisay chahta hai hidaayat say mahroom rakhta hai. Woh jo chahta hai karta hai, Woh ghalib aur hikmat wala hai. Wahi jaanta hai kay kon hidaayat ka mustahiq hai aur kon gumraahi kay laiq hai. Usi ki hikmat kaamil aur usi ki daleel baatil shikan hai.

 

Tufaan-e-Nooh Kay Asbaab Aur Kashti Bananay Ka Hukum

 

Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ne din raat anthak mehnat ki aur qoum ko Dawat-e-Tuheed di magar saadhay no so saal ki is be misaal Jidd-o-Jahad kay baad bhi qoum ne Dawat-e-Imaan qubool nah ki balkay ulta azaab ka mutalba kar diya. Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

اُوْحِيَ اِلٰي نُوْحٍ اَنَّهٗ لَنْ يُّؤْمِنَ مِنْ قَوْمِكَ اِلَّا مَنْ قَدْ اٰمَنَ فَلَا تَبْتَىِٕسْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَفْعَلُوْنَ      36؀ښ

 

“Aur Nooh ki taraf wahi ki gayi keh tumhari qoum mein jo log iman laa chuke ( laa chuke) un kay siwa aur koi iman nahi laye ga to jo kaam yeh kar rahy hain, Un ki wajah say gham nah khao.” (Hood: 11/36 )

 

Is mein qoum ki bad sulooki par aap kay liye tasalli hai aur qoum kay baray mein yeh bata kar keh ab mazeed afraad iman nahi layein ge, Yeh kaha gaya hai keh ab tak jo kuch howa us par gham nah karen kyun kay Allah ki madad pohnchne wali hai aur ajeeb waqeat paish anay walay hain . Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

وَاصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِاَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا وَلَا تُخَاطِبْنِيْ فِي الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا  ۚ اِنَّهُمْ مُّغْرَقُوْنَ   37 ؀

 

“Aur aik kashti hamaray hukum say hamaray ro baroo banaao. Aur jo log zalim hain un kay baray mein hum say kuch nah kehna. Kiyukeh woh zaroor garq kar diye jayain ge.”(Hood: 11/37)

 

Us ki wajah yeh thi keh jab jab Nooh (علیہ السلام ) un logo ki islah say mayus ho gaye aur unhain yaqeen hogaya keh un mein khair ki koi ramaq baki nahi rahi, Kiyukeh Unhon ne har Qoul-o-Feil kay za,reeye say har tarah aap ko takleefain pohnchaye, Mukhalifat aur takzeeb ki, Tab aap ne un par Allah ka gazab nazil hone ki dua ki. Allah Ta,aala ne aap ki dua qubool kar li. Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

وَلَقَدْ نَادٰىنَا نُوْحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيْبُوْنَ 75؀ڮ وَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَاَهْلَهٗ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيْمِ 76؀ڮ

 

“Aur hum ko Nooh ne pukara, So (dekh lo keh) hum (dua ko kese) ache qubool karne wale hain. Aur hum ne un ko aur un kay ghar waloon ko badi musibat say nijat di.” ( Al Saffaat: 37/75-76)

 

Aur mazeed farmaya:

 

وَنُوْحًا اِذْ نَادٰي مِنْ قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهٗ فَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَاَهْلَهٗ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيْمِ 76؀ۚ

 

“Aur (Ae Nabi!) Nooh (ka qissa bhi yaad karo) jab us ne is say pehle hum ko pukara to hum ne us ki dua qubool farmayi aur usay aur us kay sathiyun ko badi musibat say nijat di.” (Al Anbya: 21/76)

 

Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne Allah Ta,aala say mazeed faryaad karte howe farmaya:

 

رَبِّ اِنَّ قَوْمِيْ كَذَّبُوْنِ   ١١٧؀ښ فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَّنَجِّـنِيْ وَمَنْ مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ   ١١٨؁

 

“Parwardigaar! Meri qoum ne mujhe jhutla diya. So tu mere aur un kay darmiyan aik khula faisla kar day aur mujhe aur jo mere sath iman lane wale hain un ko  bacha le.” ( Al shu,ra: 26/117-118)

 

Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

فَدَعَا رَبَّهٗٓ اَنِّىْ مَغْلُوْبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ   10 ؀

 

“To Unhon ne apne Parwardigaar say dua ki keh (Baari Ta,aala) mein (un kay muqabile mein) kamzoor hoon tu (un say) badla le .” (Al Qamar: 54/10)

 

Mazeed Irshad-e-Rabbani hai:

 

وَقَالَ نُوْحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَي الْاَرْضِ مِنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ دَيَّارًا   26؀ اِنَّكَ اِنْ تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوْا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوْٓا اِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا   27؀

 

“Nooh ne (yeh) dua ki keh mere Parwardigaar kisi Kafir ko roye Zameen par basa nah rehne de. Agar tu un ko rehne de ga to woh tere bando ko gumrah karain ge aur un say jo aulad hogi woh bhi badkaar aur na shukar guzaar hogi.” (Nooh: 71/25-27)

Is tarah un kay Kufr-o-Fujoor kay jaraim kay sath sath un kay Nabi ki bad dua ka wabaal bhi aa pada. Tab Allah Ta,aala ne Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ko aik kashti banana ka hukum diya. Yeh aik bohut bada behri jahaz tha, Jis ki us say pehle koi nazeer nah thi aur nah baad mein us ki misal mil saki.

Allah Ta,aala ne aap ko peshgi hidayat farma di keh jab Allah ka hukum aa pohnchy ga aur un par woh azaab aajaye ga jo mujrim logo say tala nahi karta to aisa nah ho keh un par azaab utarta dekh kar aap kay dil mein reham aajaye. Is liye farmaya:

 

وَلَا تُخَاطِبْنِيْ فِي الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا  ۚ اِنَّهُمْ مُّغْرَقُوْنَ   37 ؀

 

“Aur jo log zalim hain un kay bare mein hum say kuch nah kehna kiyu keh woh zaroor garq kar diye jayain ge.” (Hood: 11/37)

 

Dunya mein Kufr-o-Inaad Qoum-e-Nooh ka sheewah tha. Qayamat kay din bhi woh jhoot bolte howe yeh dawa karain ge keh un kay paas koi Rasool nahi aaya. Sahih Bukhari ki riwayat kay mutabiq Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ne farmaya: “Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) aur un ki qoum hazir hongay. Allah Ta,aala farmaye ga: “Kiya tu ne (mera paigham) apni ummat ko pohncha diya tha?” Woh arz karain ge: Haan, Ya Rabb! Allah Ta,aala un ki ummat say farmaye ga: “Kiya Inhon ne tum logon ko (mera paigham) pohncha diya tha?” Woh kahain ge: Nahi, Hamare haan to koi Nabi nahi aaya. Allah Ta,aala Nooh (علیہ السلام ) say farmaye ga: “Tera gawah kon hai?” Woh arz karain ge: “ Mohammad ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) aur un ki ummat.” Tab hum ( Musalman) gawahi dain ge keh Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ne tableeg kit hi. Is ayat mubarika mein usi taraf isharah hai.

 

وَكَذٰلِكَ جَعَلْنٰكُمْ اُمَّةً وَّسَطًا لِّتَكُوْنُوْا شُهَدَاۗءَ عَلَي النَّاسِ وَيَكُـوْنَ الرَّسُوْلُ عَلَيْكُمْ شَهِيْدًا

 

“Aur isi tarah hum ne tum ko Ummat-e-Mu,atadil banaya hai taakeh tum logon par gawah bano aur paighambar (Aakhir-ul-Zaman) tum par gawah banain.” (Al Baqarah: 143) (Sahih Bukhari, Ahadith-ul-Anbiya, Baab Qoulullah Azz wa jall ولقد ارسلنا نوحا الی قومہ, Hadith: 3339)

Yeh ummat apne sachy Nabi ki gawahi par gawahi de gi keh Allah ne Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ko haq de kar maboos farmaya aur Unhon ne apni qoum ko behtreen aur kamil tareen andaz say tableeg ki. Unhain har us kaam say mana farmaya jis say un ki deni halat ko nuqsan pohnchta ho.

Tamam Anbiya-e-Kiram ( علیھم السلام) ki yahi shan aur yahi kefiyat rahi hai. Woh to apni qoum par itni shafqat karne wale thay keh apni qoum ko Dajjal say bhi mutnabah farmaya halankeh un kay zamane mein us kay zahir hone ki tawa,qa nahi thi. Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (رضی اللہ عنھما ) say riwayat hai, Unhon ne farmaya: Rasoolullah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne logon mein khade ho kar Allah Ta,aala ki shaan kay laiq Hamd-o-Sana farmayi, Phir Dajjal ka zikar karte howe farmaya: “Mein tumhain us say mutanabbah karta hoon, Har Nabi ne apni qoum ko us say daraya hai. Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ne bhi apni qoum ko us (Dajjal) say daraya tha. Albatta mein tumhain aik aesi baat bata raha hoon jo kisi Nabi ne apni qoum say bayan  nahi farmayi.

“Tumhain maloom hona chahiye keh Dajjal kana hai aur tumhara Rabb yak chasham nahi.” (Sahih Bukhari, Ahadith-ul-Anbiya, Baab Qoulullah Azz wa jall ولقد ارسلنا نوحا الی قومہ, Hadith: 3337)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضی اللہ عنہ ) say riwayat hai keh Rasoolullah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne farmaya: “Kiya mein tumhain Dajjal kay bare mein woh baat nah bataon jo kisi Nabi ne apni qoum ko nahi batayi? woh kana hai, Woh apne sath jhoot moot ki Jannat aur Jahannam laye ga. Jis ko woh Jannat kahe ga (haqeeqat mein) woh aag hogi. Mein tumhain us say darata hoon jaisey Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ne apni qoum ko us say mutanabbah kiya tha. (Sahih Bukhari, Ahadith-ul-Anbiya Baab Qoulullah Azz wa jall …..ولقد ارسلنا Hadith: 3338, Sahih Muslim, Al Fitin, Baab-o-Zikr-e-Ibn-e-Sayyad, Hadith: 2931)

 

Kashti ki wus,at:

 

Imam Soori ( رحمہ اللہ) bayan karte hain keh Allah Ta,aala ne Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ko assi (80) hath lambi kashti banana ka hukum diya aur kaha keh usay andar aur bahir say taar koul lagaye aur us ka agla hissa kham daar banaye taakeh woh paani ko cheerte howe chal sake.

Hazrat Qatadah (رحمہ اللہ ) ka kehna hai keh kashti teen so (300) hath lambi aur pachas (50) hath chodi thi. Mein ne Touraat mein isi tarah likha howa dekha hai. In sab ne us ki bulandi tees (30) zira,a zikr ki hai. Us ki teen manzalain then. Har manzil das hath buland thi. Nichli manzil maweshiyun aur jangli janwaron kay liye thi, Darmiyani manzil insano kay liye aur balayi manzil parindo kay liye thi. Us ka darwaza chodayi mein tha aur us kay upar aik chhat bhi thi. (Tafseer Ibn-e-Kaseer, Tafseer Surah Hood, Ayat: 37)

 

Tufaan Ki Aamad Aur Nijat Paane Waloon Ko Shukar Ada Karne Ka Hukum

 

Imam Ibn-e-Jareer aur dosre Ulama (رحم اللہ علیھم ) ne farmaya hai keh tufaan qibti hisab kay mutabiq Aab (august) ki tera tareekh ko shuru howa. Qoum ki musalsal hat dharmi say aajiz aa kar Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ne apne Rabb say dua ki aur Allah Ta,aala ne dua qubool kar kay badkaar qoum ko Tabah-o-Barbad kar diya. Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

فَاِذَا جَاۗءَ اَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّوْرُ ۙ فَاسْلُكْ فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَاَهْلَكَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُخَاطِبْنِيْ فِي الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا ۚ اِنَّهُمْ مُّغْرَقُوْنَ 27؀

 

“Jab hamara hukum aa pohnche aur tannoor (paani say bhar kar) josh marne lage to sab (qisam kay haiwanaat) mein say joda joda (yaani nar aur madah) do do kashti mein bitha do aur apne ghar waloon ko siwaye un kay jin ki nisbat un mein say (halak hone ka) hukum pehle sadir ho chuka hai aur zalimon kay bare mein hum say kuch nah kehna, Woh zaroor dabo diye jayain ge.” (Al Mominoon: 23/27)

Chunancha Allah Ta,aala ne aap ko hukum diya keh jab mera hukum aa jaye aur azaab shuru ho jaye to har janwar aur har jaandaar ka aik aik joda kashti mein sawar kar lain, Khawah un ka gosht khaya jata ho ya nah khaya jata ho, Taakeh us ki nasal baki rahe, Aur apne ghar kay afraad ko bhi sawar kar lain magar jis kay bare mein pehle farman jaari ho chuka hai usay sawar nah karain. Is say muraad woh Kafir hain, Jin kay bare mein aap ki bad dua qubool ho chuki hai aur un say azaab nahi tal sakta. Allah Ta,aala ne hukum diya keh azaab nazil hota dekh kar Kafiron kay haq mein dua nah kar dain kiyukeh us ka hatmi faisla Allah ki taraf say ho chuka hai jis ki shaan hai keh woh jo chahta hai karta hai.

Ayat mein mazkoor lafz “Tannoor” say aksar Ulamaa ne Satah-e-Zameen muraad li hai, Yaani Zameen kay har hisse say paani phoot nikla hatta keh jin tannoorun mein aag jalayi jaati hai, Un mein say bhi paani niklane laga.

Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbas (رضی اللہ عنھما)  say riwayat hai keh “Tannoor” say muraad yeh hai keh saari Zameen say paani nikalne laga.” Yaani aag waly Tannoorun say bhi paani nikalna shuru hogaya. Jamhoor Ulmaa-e-Salaf ka yahi mu,aqaf hai. (Tafseer Ibn-e-Kaseer, Surah Hood, Ayat: 40)

 

Allah Ta,aala ne dosre maqaam par farmaya:

 

حَتّٰٓي  اِذَا جَاۗءَ اَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّوْرُ ۙ قُلْنَا احْمِلْ فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَاَهْلَكَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ وَمَنْ اٰمَنَ  ۭ وَمَآ اٰمَنَ مَعَهٗٓ اِلَّا قَلِيْلٌ  40؀

 

“Yahan tak keh jab hamara hukum aa pohncha aur Tannoor josh marne laga. To hum ne (Nooh ko) hukum diya keh har qissam (kay jandaaron) mein say joda joda yaani do do janwar (aik nar aur aik maadah) le lo aur jis shaks ki nisbat hukum ho chuka hai (keh halak ho jaye ga) us ko chod kar apne ghar waloon ko aur jo iman laya hai us ko kashti mein sawar kar lo aur un kay sath buhut hi kam log iman laye thay.” (Hood: 11/40)

Yaani Allah ne hukum diya keh jab azaab aaye to har qisam kay jaandaron ka aik aik joda kashti mein sawar kar lain.

Bible mein kaha gaya hai keh unhain har Halal janwar kay saat jody aur har Haram janwar ka aik joda sawar karne ka hukum diya gaya tha. Lekin Quran Majeed kay lafz اثْنَيْنِ  “do janwar” say is ki tardeed hoti hai.

Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala: وَاَهْلَكَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ  ka matlab yeh hai keh Kafiron ko chod kar sirf un Muminon ko kashti mein sawar karain jin kay haq mein nijat ki dua qubool ho chuki hai. Aap ka beta “Yaam” bhi dobne waloon mein shamil tha.

Jaise aaindah bayan hoga. وَمَنْ اٰمَنَ  yaani ummat kay jo afraad aap par iman la chuke hain, Unhain kashti mein sawar kar lijiye. وَمَآ اٰمَنَ مَعَهٗٓ اِلَّا قَلِيْلٌ   “aap kay sath bohut thody log iman laye” halankeh aap taweel arsa tak un mein tashreef farma rahe aur Targheeb-o-Tarheeb, Wada-o-Waeed kay guna gu asaleeb ko istimal karte howe pori quwwat kay sath raat din tableeg mein masroof rahe.

 

Kashti mein sawar hone waloon ki ta,dad kitni thi? Is kay bare mein Ulamaa kay mukhtalif aqwal hain:

v Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbas ( رضی اللہ عنھما) say riwayat hai keh woh assi (80) afraad thay. Un kay sath un ki biwiyan bhi then.

v Ka,ab Ahbar say marwi hai keh woh bahtar (72) afraad thay.

v Baaz ne kaha: Das (10) thay.

v Aik qoul kay mutabiq kashti mein sawar hone waloon mein Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) khud, Un kay teen bete aur iman nah la kar garq ho jane wale “Yaam” ki biwi samait Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ki charon bahoyain shamil then. Yeh qoul zahir tor par ayat kay khilaf hai. Kiyukeh ayat say sabit hota hai keh kashti mein Nooh (علیہ السلام) kay khandan say bahir kay momin afraad bhi sawar howe thay. jaise keh Nooh (علیہ السلام) ne farmaya tha: وَّنَجِّـنِيْ وَمَنْ مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ    “mujhe aur jo momin mere sath hain unhain bacha le.”(Al Shu,ra:26/118)

v Aik qoul kay mutabiq: Woh saat (7) afraad thay. (Tafseer Tabari 7/56-57, Tafseer Surah Hood, Ayat: 40)

Nooh (علیہ السلام) ki biwi jo aap kay tamam beto Haam, Saam, Yafis, Yaam( jise Ahl-e-Kitab Kan,an kehte thay aur yahi tufaan mein garq howa tha) aur Aabir ki maan thi, Woh tufaan say pehle fout ho chuki thi. Baaz Ulamaa ne farmaya hai keh woh bhi iman nah lane ki wajah say dosre Kafiron kay sath garq ho gayi thi.

Ahl-e-Kitab ka kehna hai keh woh kashti mein mojod thi. Ho sakta hai woh baad mein Kafir hogayi ho. Albata pehla qoul zayada sahih hai kiyu keh Nooh (علیہ السلام) ne arz kiya tha:

 لَا تَذَرْ عَلَي الْاَرْضِ مِنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ دَيَّارًا    “kisi Kafir ko Zameen mein basa nah rehne de”(Nooh: 71/26)

 

Nijat paane par Shukr-e-Rabbani ka hukum:

 

Jab Kafir qoum ki garqaabi ka waqt ho gaya to mominoon ki hifazat aur nijat kay liye kashti Allah kay hukum say terne lagi to Allah Ta,aala ne is naimat par shukar ada karne ka hukum diya:

 

فَاِذَا اسْتَوَيْتَ اَنْتَ وَمَنْ مَّعَكَ عَلَي الْفُلْكِ فَقُلِ الْـحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ نَجّٰىنَا مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ 28؀ وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اَنْزِلْنِيْ مُنْزَلًا مُّبٰرَكًا وَّاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنْزِلِيْنَ 29؀

 

“Aur jab tum aur tumhare sathi kashti mein beth jao to (Allah ka shukar ada karna aur) kehna keh sab tareef Allah hi kay liye hai jis ne hum ko zalim logon say nijat bakhshi. Aur yeh bhi dua karna keh ae Parwardigaar! Hum ko Mubarak jaga utar aur tu sab say behtar utarne wala hai.” (Al Mo,minoon: 23/28-29)

Yaani Allah Ta,aala ne Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ko hukum diya keh woh Allah ki tareef aur shukar karain kiyukeh us ne yeh kashti un kay liye musakkhar farmayi, Us kay zari,ye say unhain nijat di, Qoum ka faisla kar diya aur mukhalifeen ki tabahi kay sath Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ki aankhain thandi kar deen. jaise Irshad hai:

 

وَالَّذِيْ خَلَقَ الْاَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِّنَ الْفُلْكِ وَالْاَنْعَامِ مَا تَرْكَبُوْنَ  12۝ۙ لِتَسْتَوٗا عَلٰي ظُهُوْرِهٖ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ اِذَا اسْـتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَـقُوْلُوْاسُبْحٰنَ الَّذِيْ سَخَّــرَ لَنَا ھٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهٗ مُقْرِنِيْنَ  13؀ۙ وَاِنَّآ اِلٰى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُوْنَ  14؀

 

“Aur jis ne tamam qisam kay haiwanaat peda kiye aur tumhare liye kashtiyan aur chaar paye banaye jin par tum sawar hote ho taakeh tum un ki peeth par chadh betho aur jab us par beth jao to apne Parwardigaar kay ahsaan ko yaad karo aur kaho keh woh (zaat) paak hai jis ne us ko hamare zair farman kar diya aur hum mein taqat nah thi keh us ko bass mein kar lete aur hum apne Parwardigaar ki taraf lout kar jane wale hain.” (Al zukhruf: 43/12-14)

Isi tarah (sab ko) hukum hai keh kaam ki ibtida mein dua ki jaye taakeh us mein Khair-o-Barkat hasil ho aur us ka anjam acha ho. jaise Nabi (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ko hijrat kay waqt hukum diya:

 

وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اَدْخِلْنِيْ مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَّاَخْرِجْنِيْ مُخْــرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَّاجْعَلْ لِّيْ مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ سُلْطٰنًا نَّصِيْرًا  80؀

 

“Aur kaho keh ae Parwardigaar! Mujhe jahan le jaa sachai kay sath le jaa aur jahan say bhi nikal sachai kay sath nikal, Aur apne haan say Zor-o-Quwwat ko mera madadgaar bana.” (Al Isra: 17/80)

 

Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne Allah Ta,aala kay is hukum ki tameel ki aur sathiyun say farmaya:

 

ارْكَبُوْا فِيْهَا بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ مَجْــرٖ۩ىهَا وَمُرْسٰىهَا  ۭ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ لَغَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ    41؀

 

“Is kashti mein sawar ho jao, Allah hi kay naam say chalna aur thehrna hai. Beshak mera Parwardigaar bakhshinewala mehrbaan hai.”(Hood: 11/40)

Yaani us kay chalne ki Ibtida-o-Intiha Allah kay naam say hai. Mera Rabb bakhshine wala, Reham karne wala hai. Lekin sath hi woh sakht saza dene wala bhi hai, Is liye us ka azaab mujrimon par aa kar rehta hai. Jaise un logon par aaya jinhon ne us kay sath kufur kiya aur ghair Allah ki ibadat ki.

 

Tufaan-e-Nooh ki kefiyat aur Nooh (علیہ السلام) kay bete ki gharqaabi:

 

Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

وَهِىَ تَجْرِيْ بِهِمْ فِيْ مَوْجٍ كَالْجِبَالِ 

 

“Aur woh un ko le kar (tufaan ki) lehron mein chalne lagi. (lehrain kiya theen) goya keh pahad (thay).” (Hood: 11/42)

 

Is ki wajah yeh thi keh Allah Ta,aala ne Aasman say aesi shaded barish nazil farmayi jo Zameen par is say pehle kabhi nahi howi thi, Nah baad mein kabhi hogi. Yun lagta tha jaise mushkon kay mun khol diye gaye hoon aur Allah kay hukum say Zameen par har raste aur har qit,ye say paani photne laga. jaisy keh Allah Ta,aala ne farmaya hai:

 

فَدَعَا رَبَّهٗٓ اَنِّىْ مَغْلُوْبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ   10 ؀ فَفَتَحْنَآ اَبْوَابَ السَّمَاۗءِ بِمَاۗءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ   11۝ڮ وَّفَجَّــرْنَا الْاَرْضَ عُيُوْنًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاۗءُ عَلٰٓي اَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ   12۝ۚ وَحَمَلْنٰهُ عَلٰي ذَاتِ اَلْوَاحٍ وَّدُسُرٍ 13۝ۙ تَجْرِيْ بِاَعْيُنِنَا ۚ جَزَاۗءً لِّمَنْ كَانَ كُفِرَ   14؀

 

“ To Nooh ne apne Parwardigaar say dua ki keh (ilahi!) mein (un kay muqabile mein) kamzoor hoon tu (in say) badla le. Pas hum ne zor kay meena say Aasman kay dahane khol diye aur Zameen mein chashme jaari kar diye to paani aik kaam kay liye jo muqaddar ho chuka tha jama hogaya aur hum ne Nooh ko aik kashti par ,jo takhton aur meekhoon say tayyar ki gayi thi, Sawar kar liya. Woh hamari aankhon kay samne chalti thi (yeh sab kuch) us shaks kay intiqam kay liye (kiya gaya) jis ko Kafir mantey nah thay.” (Al Qamar: 54/10-14)

 

Allah Ta,aala ne mazeed farmaya:

 

اِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا الْمَاۗءُ حَمَلْنٰكُمْ فِي الْجَارِيَةِ 11۝ۙ لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةً وَّتَعِيَهَآ اُذُنٌ وَّاعِيَةٌ   12۝

 

 “Jab paani tughyaani par aaya to hum ne tum (logon) ko kashti par sawar kar liya taakeh us ko tumhare liye yaad gaar banaye aur yaad rakhne wale kaan usay yaad rakhain.” (Al Haqqah: 69/11-12)

Kai mufasiereen ne farmaya hai keh paani buland tareen pahad say bhi pandrah (15) hath buland tha. Bible mein yahi likha howa hai. (dekhiye kitab pedaish, Baab: 7, Fiqrah: 20)

 

Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbas (رضی اللہ عنھما ) ne farmaya keh paani kasrat say nikal aaya, Yaani mashriq say maghrib tak saari Zameen kay Tool-o-Arz mein, Maidaanon, Pahadon, Sahraaon aur chatiyal maidaanon mein har jaga aaya, Jis kay nateeje mein har zindah cheez halak hogayi. (Tafseer Tabari, 14/67, Tafseer Surah Al Haqqah, Ayat: 11)

 

Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

 وَنَادٰي نُوْحُۨ ابْنَهٗ وَكَانَ فِيْ مَعْزِلٍ يّٰبُنَيَّ ارْكَبْ مَّعَنَا وَلَا تَكُنْ مَّعَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ     42؀ قَالَ سَاٰوِيْٓ اِلٰي جَبَلٍ يَّعْصِمُنِيْ مِنَ الْمَاۗءِ  ۭ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ اَمْرِ اللّٰهِ اِلَّا مَنْ رَّحِمَ  ۚ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِيْنَ     43؀

 

“Us waqt Nooh ne apne bete ko pukara, Jo keh (kashti say) alag tha, Keh beta hamare sath sawar ho jaa aur Kafiron mein shamil nah ho. Us ne kaha keh mein (abhi) pahad say jaa lagon ga woh mujhe paani say bacha le ga. Unhon ne kaha kay aaj Allah kay azaab say koi bachane wala nahi (aur nah koi bach sakta hai) magar jis par Allah reham kare. Itne mein donon kay darmiyan lehar hayal hogayi aur woh doob kar reh gaya.” (Hood: 11/42-43)

Yeh Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ka beta Yaam tha, Jo Saam, Haam aur Yafis ka bhai tha. Baaz Ualmaa ne us ka naam Kan,aan bataya hai. Woh Kafir aur Fasiq tha. Us ne apne walid ka sacha Deen qubool nah kiya, Is liye halak hone waloon kay sath halak ho gaya jab keh aap ka Deen-o-Mazhab qubool karne wale nijat paa gaye, Halan keh woh un say nasbi ta,luq nahi rakhte thay.

 

Aur Tufaan Khatam Hogaya:

 

Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

وَقِيْلَ يٰٓاَرْضُ ابْلَعِيْ مَاۗءَكِ وَيٰسَمَاۗءُ اَقْلِعِيْ وَغِيْضَ الْمَاۗءُ وَقُضِيَ الْاَمْرُ وَاسْـتَوَتْ عَلَي الْجُوْدِيِّ وَقِيْلَ بُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ    44؀

 

“Aur hukum diya gaya keh ae Zameen apna paani nigal jaa aur ae Aasman tham jaa. To paani khushk ho gaya aur kaam tamam kar diya gaya aur kashti koh Jodi pahad par ja thehri aur keh diya gaya keh be insaaf logon par lanat.” (Hood: 11/44)

Yaani jab Zameen par koi aesa insaan baqi nah raha jo Allah kay siwa kisi ki ibadat karta ho to Allah ne Zameen ko hukum diya keh apna paani nigal le aur Aasman ko hukum diya keh barish barsana band kar de. Chunancha paani utarne laga aur mujrimon ko woh saza mil gayi jis ka Allah ne faisla kar rakha tha. Woh apni bad aa’maliyun ki wajah say Allah ki Rahmat-o-Maghfirat say mahroom rahe.

Is kay baad Allah Ta’aala ne bayan farmaya hai keh Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne apne bete kay haq mein Rabb say dua farmayi aur sawal kiya keh woh kiyu gharq howa? Is sawal ka maqsad mahaz Husool-e-Ilm tha yaani: “Ae Allah! Tu ne mujh say mere Ahl-o-Ayal ko bachane ka wada farmaya tha, Phir mera beta kiyu gharq ho gaya, Halankeh woh bhi mere Ahl-o-Ayal mein shamil tha?” Allah Ta’aala ne farmaya: “Woh tere gharane kay un afraad mein shamil nahi tha, Jin ki nijat ka wada kiya gaya tha.” Kiyukeh yeh farmaya gaya tha:

 

وَاَهْلَكَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ

 

“Aur apne ghar waloon ko bhi ( bitha lo) siway un kay jin kay haq mein un mein say (halak hone ka) hukum sadir ho chuka hai.”(Al Mo,minoon: 23/27) aur woh un afraad mein shamil tha, Jin kay gharq kiye jane ka faisla ho chuka tha. Is liye woh Ahl-e-Iman say alag ho kar kuffaar say mil gaya aur unhi kay anjaam say do chaar howa. Is kay baad Allah Ta’aala ne hukum diya:

 

يٰنُوْحُ اهْبِطْ بِسَلٰمٍ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكٰتٍ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلٰٓي اُمَمٍ مِّمَّنْ مَّعَكَ ۭ وَاُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُمْ مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ       48؀

 

“Ae Nooh! Hamari taraf say salamti aur barkaton kay sath (jo) tum par aur tumhare sath ki jo jamaton par (nazil ki gayi hain) utar jao aur kuch aur jamatain hoon gi jin ko hum (dunya kay fawaid say) behrahwar karain ge, Phir un ko hamari taraf say dardnaak azaab pohnchy ga.” (Hood: 11/48)

Jab Zameen ki satah say paani khushk ho gaya aur Zameen par rehna aur chalna phirna mumkin ho gaya to Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ko hukum diya gaya keh kashti say utar aayain jo taweel arsa paani mein chalti rahi thi aur aakhir kaar mash,hoor pahad “Judi” par thehar gayi.

بِسَلٰمٍ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكٰتٍ   ka matlab yeh hai keh salamati kay sath kashti say utar aaiye. Aap par bhi barkat nazil hogi aur un aqwam par bhi, Jo aaindah zamane mein aap ki nasal say peda hoongi kiyu keh Allah Ta’aala ne Nooh (علیہ السلام) kay sathiyun mein say kisi ki nasal ko baqi nahi rakha, Sirf Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ki nasal chali. Jaise keh Irshad hai:

 

وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهٗ هُمُ الْبٰقِيْنَ  77؀ڮ

 

“Aur hum ne usi ki aulad ko baqi rehne wala banaya.”(Al safaat: 37/77)

 

Haszrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام) Ki Aulad Aur Un Ki Apne Beton Ko Wasiyat

 

Aaj kal Zzameen mein insaano ki jitni aqwaam hain, Sab Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay beton Saam, Yafis aur Haam aur un teenon kay teen teen bete thay: Saam ki nasal say Arbi, Rumi aur Farsi wujood mein aaye. Yafis ki nasal say Turk, Saqaliba aur Yajooj Majooj peda howe aur Haam ki nasal say Qibti, Sodani aur Bar Bar aqwaam hai.” (Tuhfat-ul-Ahwazi: 9/80)

Aik qoul kay mutabiq Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay yeh teeno bete tufaan kay baad peda howe thay. Tufaan say pehle aik Kan,aan peda howa tha, Jo Kafiron kay sath gharq howa aur dosra “Aa,bir” peda howa tha, Jo tufaan say pehle hi fout ho gaya tha.

Sahih Baat yeh hai keh Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay teeno bete apni bewiyun aur apni walidah samait kashti mein mojood thay jaise keh Touraat mein is ki sarahat mojood hai.

 

Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar ( رضی اللہ عنھما) say riwayat hai, Unhon ne farmaya: “Hum log Rasoolullah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir thay keh aik badbo aya, Us ne Seehaan (sham kay aik shehr) ka buna howa jubbah pehna howa tha, Jis ko resham kay bune howe batan lage howe thay. Us ne kaha: “Tum logon ka sathi (محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) shesawaroon ki aulad shesawaroon ko (jaddi pushti mu,azzaz logon ko) zaleel kar dena chahta hai aur gadriyun ki aulad gadriyun ko buland kar dena chahta hai.” Nabi ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne us ka Jubbah, Gareeban say pakad kar farmaya: “Mein tujhe be aqloon ka libaas pehne howe dekh raha hoon.” Phir farmaya: “Jab Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ki wafaat ka waqt aaya to unhon ne apne bete say farmaya: Mein tujhe aik nasiyat karta hoon, Mein tujhe do kaam karne ka hukum deta hoon aur do kaam karne say mana karta hoon. Mein tujhe [لا الہ الا اللہ] ikhtiyar karne ka hukum deta hoon. Agar tarazu kay aik palade mein satoon Aasman aur satoon Zameenain rakh di jayain aur dosre palade mein [لا الہ الا اللہ]  rakha jaye to [لا الہ الا اللہ ] wala palada (zayada wazni honi ki waja say) jhuk jaye ga. Agar satoon Aasman aur Satoon Zameenain aik band halqa ban jayain, To [لا الہ الا اللہ] unhain juda juda kar de ga. Aur mein tujhe [سبحان اللہ وبحمدہ] padhne ka hukum deta hoon kiyukeh yeh har makhlooq ki tasbeeh hai aur isi ki barkat say makhlooq ko rizq milta hai aur mein tujhe shirk aur takabbur say mana karta hoon.” Mein ne arz kiya: Allah kay Rasool ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)! Is shirk say to hum waqif hain, Lekin takabbur ka kiya matlab hai? Kiya yeh baat takabbur hai keh kisi kay jote achy hoon, Jin kay tasme khubsoorat hoon? Farmaya: “Nahi!” Mein ne kaha: Kiya yeh takabbur hai keh kisi kay paas Hullah (chadron ka joda) ho aur woh usay pehn le? Farmaya: “Nahi!” Mein ne kaha: Ya yeh hai keh kisi kay paas sawari kay liye janwar ho? Farmaya: “Nahi!” Mein ne kaha: “Ya yeh hai keh kisi kay dost hoon jo us kay paas bethty hoon?” Farmaya: “Nahi!” Mein ne arz kiya: Phir Allah kay Rasool ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) takabbur kiya hota hai? Farmaya: “Haq ka inkaar aur logon ko haqeer jan,na.” (Masnad-e-Ahmad: 2/170, Hadith: 6583)

 

Nataij-o-Fawaid………Ibratain-o-Hikmatain

 

Hazrat Nooh(علیہ السلام ) ka Tareeq-e-Dawat-o-Irshaad:

 

Hazrat Nooh(علیہ السلام )Tuheed-e-Ilahi kay pehle da,ee hain. Sab say pehle aap ki qoum ne buzrigon kay butt bana kar pooja shuru ki aur Allah Wahdahu laa shareek kay sath shirk kay murtakib howe. Aap ne sade no so (950) saal tak us Mushrik qoum ko Tuheed ki dawat di aur un ki taraf say milne wali eiza aur masaib par nihayat Sabar-o-Tahammul say kaam liya. Da,iyaan-e-Tuheed-o-Rasalat kay liye un ki zindagai mein shandaar Uswa-e-Hasna hai. Aap ki zindagi aur tareekhi dawat say Tuheed ka mu,talaaa karne wale ko naya azam, Yaqeen-e-Muhakam aur taza walwala naseeb hota hai. Aaiye un kay Tareeq-e-Dawat par aik nazar dalte hain. Aap ki so sala dawat kay Tareeq-e-Kaar ko mandarja zail nukaat mein paish kiya ja sakta hai:

 

1: Aik muddat tak dawat ko khufya rakhna aur phir ai,laniya dawat dena: jaisa keh Irshad hai:

 

قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّىْ دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِيْ لَيْلًا وَّنَهَارًا  Ĉ۝ۙ ………… ثُمَّ اِنِّىْ دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا  Ď۝ۙ ثُمَّ اِنِّىْٓ اَعْلَنْتُ لَهُمْ وَاَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ اِسْرَارًا   Ḍ۝ۙ

 

“Ae mere Parwardigaar mein ne apni qoum ko teri taraf raat din bulaya……phir mein ne unhain baa Aawaz-e-Buland bulaya. Aur beshak mein ne un say ai,laniya bhi kaha aur chupke chupke bhi.” (Nooh: 71/5-8-9)

2: Qoum ki tand roi kay jawab mein narami aur sheereen kalami: Aap ne qoum kay Talakh-o-Tund  sawalaat aur bad tahzeebi ka jawab hamesha narmi, Mehrbaani aur sheereen zuban say diya. Qoum kay jhutlane, Gumrah kehne, Ghareeb pairo kaaroon par Ta,un-o-Tash,nee ka aur ru say qoum ki bad zubaniyoon ka jawab is meethy andaz mein diya, Farmaya:

 

قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِيْ ضَلٰلَةٌ وَّلٰكِنِّيْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ 61؀

 

“Ae meri qoum! Mujh mein zara bhi gumrahi nahi lekin mein Parwardigar-e-Aalam ka Rasool hoon.” (A,raf: 7/61)

 

3: Raah-e-Haq mein aane wali mushkilaat aur istihza karne waloon ki parwah nah karna: Aap ne apne taweel Dawat-o-Irshaad mein kabhi mukhalifeen ki kasrat aur un kay tamaskhur aur eizaon ki parwa nahi ki bal keh qaleel sathiyun kay bawajood apna mishan din raat jaari rakha aur kabhi bhi aap kay Paya-e-Subaat mein laghzish nah aayi.

4: Qoum ko Allah Ta,aala ki naimaton aur ahsaanaat ki yaad dihani: Aap ne qoum ko Allah Ta’aala ki beshumaar naimaton aur be panaah ahsaanaat ki yaad dilayi taakeh who Parwardigaar par iman le aayain aur us kay shukar guzaar bande ban jayain. Aap ne qoum say farmaya:

 

وَاللّٰهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ بِسَاطًا 19؀ۙ

 

“Allah Ta’aala ne tumhare liye zameen ko farsh bana diya hai.” (Nooh: 71/19)

Lihaza agar tum apne Parwardigaar par iman le aao ge aur apne tarasheedah butoon ko tark kar do ge to woh tumhain Maal-o-Aulaad mein be panaah barkat de ga aur tumhari qehat zadah Zameen phir say sar sabz ho jaye gi.

5: Raah-e-Haq mein biwi aur bete ki judai ka gham bardasht karna: Aap ki an thak mehnat aur be misaal Dawat-o-Irshaad kay bawajood aap ki biwi aur beta iman nah laye aur bil aakhir aap ki aankhon kay samne kafiron kay sath gharqaab ho gaye. Aap ne yeh dukh bhi nihayat hoslay aur paa mardi say bardasht kiya. Is tarah aap taa qayamat aane wale Da,iyaan-e-Haq kay liye, Raah-e-Haq mein aane wale masaib par Sabar-o-Tahammul ka anmol uswah chod gaye.

 

Ilmi haqaiq ki naqab kushayi:

 

Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay qissay mein Quran Majeed ne muta,adad ilmi aur science uloom ki naqab kushayi ki hai jin ki tasdeeq aaj kay jadeed uloom aur tahqeeqaat say ho rahi hai, Yaani jin Uloom-o-M,aarif say dunya aaj mut,arif ho rahi hai aur un ko jadeed tahqeeqaat ka naam diya jaa raha hai, Quran Majeed chodah so saal (1400) qabal hi un ki khabar de chuka hai. Is silsile mein do misalain zikar ki jaati hain. Quran Majeed mein Irshad-e-Baari Ta’aala hai:

 

وَّجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيْهِنَّ نُوْرًا وَّجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا 16؀

 

“Aur un mein chand ko khoob jagmagata banaya hai aur suraj ko roshan chirag banaya hai.” (Nooh: 71/16)

 

Allah Ta’aala ne is Irshad-e-Mubarak mein suraj ko dehkate howe roshan chirag say tashbeeh di hai yaani aesa chirag jo tail waghaira say jalaya jaye aur woh aik shu,ly say jaly. Aaisy chirag ki roshni zaati hoti hai. Jadeed science tahqeeqaat ne sabit kiya hai keh suraj shu,la zan gaisoon ka majmooaa hai. Us ki roshni aur taqat ka sar chashma us ki satah kay andar hone wale atomi dhamake hain. Is tarah aaj ka jadeed ilm Qurani uloom hi ki haqqaniyat par Muhar-e-Tasdeeq sabat kar raha hai keh suraj aik shu,la zan chirag hai jis ki roshni dakhli dhamakon ki wajah say hai.

Dosri taraf Allah Ta’aala ne chand ko (Noor) kaha hai, Yaani woh aik ghair roshan dhair hai jo roshni dosron say hasil kar kay munawwar hota hai. Aaj ki science isi baat ka iqrar kar rahi hai keh chand khud roshan nahi hai balkeh yeh suraj say roshni hasil karta hai. Isi tarah Irshad-e-Rabbani hai: وَاللّٰهُ اَنْۢبَتَكُمْ مِّنَ الْاَرْضِ نَبَاتًا   17؀ۙ  “Aur tum ko Zameen say aik (khas ahtimam) say augaya (peda kiya) hai.”

Is Ayat-e-Kareemah mein Allah Ta,aala ne yeh ai,laan farmaya hai keh us ne bani Adam ko Zameen say peda kiya aur us ki zindagi ka inhisaar Zameen say augnay wali nabataat par hai. Doctor Tusoon Keinj apni kitab “الماء معجزۃ الطبیعۃ”  mein kehte hain keh Maahreen-e-Hayatiyaat is baat par muttafiq hain keh tamam haiwaanaat kay zindah rehne kay liye zameeni nabaataat zaroori hain. Is liye tamam haiwaanaat nabaataat kha kar ya un haiwaanaat ko kha kar zindah hain jo nabaataat khate hain. Maslan agar insaan machli khata hai to woh machli apne say choti machliyun aur deegar nannhe munne keede kha kar zindah thi jab keh woh choti machliyaan aur keede makode zameeni nabaataat kha kar zindah thay. Is tarah har jandaar ki asal khoraak bil aakhir nabaataat hi nikalti hain. Uon Quran Kareem  ne insaani khoraak ka manbah chodah so saal (1400) pehle bayan kar diya tha jab keh science aaj us ka iqrar kar rahi hai.  والحمد للہ علی ذالک

 

Tabqaati kashmakash:

 

Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay qissay say un kay muashiray kay tabqaati nizaam ka ilm hasil hota hai. Aik tabqa Umara, Ruasaa aur ghani logon ka hai jab keh dosra tabqa Ghurba-o-Masakeen aur mehnat mushaqqat karne waloon ka hai. Umara ka tabqa apne Maal-o-Dolat aur dunyawi Shaan-o-Shokat ki wajah say haq ko qubool karne say guraizaan rehta hai aur khayal karta hai keh jis deen ko hamare muashiray kay haqeer, Kamtar aur ghareeb log qubool karain woh hargiz behtar nahi ho sakta jab keh ghurba apni fitrati khoobyoon  kay bais hamesha haq ko qubool karne mein pehal karte hain. Nooh(علیہ السلام ) ki qoum kay Ruasaa ko ghurba kay sath iman qubool karne mein muasharti subki mehsoos hoti thi, Is liye woh us Naimat-e-Jaleelah say mahroom reh gaye aur ghareeb us raaz ko pa gaye keh Izzat-o-Shaan aura alaa Maqaam-o-Martabah usi ka hai.

Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay dour ki tabqaati kashmakash aaj bhi urooj par hai. Lihaza aaj bhi aese Ruasaa ki kami nahi jo ghurba kay sath islami mahafil mein shirkat ko apni touheen samjhate hain. Aise aghniya ki bhi koi qillat nahi jo zakat ko tax say badtar, Hajj ko khuwamkhah ka safar aur takan, Roze ko ghurba par wajib, Aur namaz ko intihai na Qabil-e-Amal khayal karte hain jab keh ghurba ka taqwa aur iman aaj bhi Qabil-e-Thseen hai.

 

Iman kay baghair qarabat daari kuch sood mand nahi:

 

Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay qissay say pata chalta hai keh qarabat daari khuwah kitni hi gehri aur mazboot kiyu nah ho, Iman Billah ki qaim maqaam nahi ho sakti. Balkeh har shaks apne Qoul-o-Fail ka zimme daar hai agar woh iman nahi lata aur Allah kay baghiyun kay sath rehna pasand karta hai to phir Nakami-o-Namuradi us ka muqaddar thehre gi. Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ka salbi beta aur Shareek-e-Hayat iman ki dolat say mahroom ho kar kafir qoum kay sath hi gharqaab ho jate hain jab keh iman lane wale ajnabi Dunya-o-Aakhirat ki sa,aadat mandi say behra mand ho jate hain. Is say maloom howa keh qarabat daari, Iman Billah ki qaim maqaam hargiz nahi. Islam ne rishte daroon kay azeem haqooq muqarrar kiye hain aur un say sila rehmi ki pur zor takeed ki hai lekin iman kay baghair yeh sila rahmi aur rishte daari kuch faida mand nahi hai. Balkeh iman Billah aur nek aamaal hi kamyabi ki zamanat hain. Piyare Nabi (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم  ) ne is haqeeqat ko aashakaara karne kay liye apne khandaan ko jama kiya aur aik aik ko aawaz de kar farmaya: “Ae Murrah bin Ka,ab ki aulad! Apni jano ko aag say bacha lo….Ae Abd-e-Shams kay beto! Apne nafasoon ko jahannum say aazaad kara lo…. Ae Bani Abd-e-Manaf! Khud ko Azaab-e-Ilahi say mahfooz kar lo….Ae Bani Hashim! Apni jano ko jahannum ki aag say bacha lo….Ae Abdul Muttalib ki aulad! khud ko aag say aazaad kara lo….Ae Fatima ( Bint محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )! Apni jaan ko aag say bacha lo. Mein Allah Ta’aala say tumhain kuch nafa nah de sakoon ga. Siway us kay keh (dunya mein) tumhari rishte daari nibhata rahoon ga.” ( Sahih Muslim, Al iman, Baab fi qoulillahi, وانذر عشیرتک الاقربین, Hadith: 204)

Lihaza aese logo ko apni islah kar leni chahiye jo is galat fahmi ya khush fahmi ka shikar hain keh chunkkeh hum Ahl-e-Bait hain, Hum sayyad aur hashmi qabeele say hain, Hum Allah kay ahibba hain, Hum Aashiqaan-e-Rasool hain, hum Quran-o-Sunnat kay man,ne wale hain, (halankeh yeh khali dawe hote hain aur amlan kuch nahi hota. Nah iman Billah aur nah Aamal-e-Saliha) is liye hamari nijat yaqeeni hai, Halankeh nijat aur kamyabi ka daromadar iman aur naik aamal par hai.

 

Haqq-o-Batil ki ma,rika aarayi:

 

Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay qissay say maloom hota hai jaise hi Unhon ne aik Allah ki ibadat ki taraf logon ko bulaya to sara muasharah un kay khilaf ho gaya. Umara-o-Ruasay-e-Qoum un kay dushman ban gaye aur aap ko tarah tarah ki aziyyatain aur takaleef pohnchani shuru kar deen. Haq baat ko qubool karne waloon ko aziyyatain dena aur un par Arsa-e-Hayat tang karna Umara aur un kay cheelo ka mahboob mashghala ban gaya. Is tarah Haqq-o-Batil ki taweel ma,rika aarayi shuru ho gayi.

Lihaza is qissay mein yeh haqeeqat bayan ki gayi hai keh Dayaan-e-Haq ko, Maidan-e-Dawat-o-Irshad mein pesh aane wali mushkilaat ka samna khundah peshani say karna chahiye, Is raah mein milne wali takaleef Sabar-o-Tahammul say bardasht karna chahiye aur apne mision ko mukammal walwale aur azam say jaari rakhna chahiye kiyu keh Haqq-o-Batil ki ma,arika aarayi azal say shuru howi aur abad tak rahe gi. Jab tak Adam (علیہ السلام ) kay haq go bete zindah hain, Iblees kay kaarindon say yeh ma,arika jaari rahe ga. Is liye Dawat-oTuheed ka karwan rukna nahi chahiye, Thamna nahi chahiye balkeh is karwan ko apne Rahbar-o-Rahnuma Jadd-e-Anbiya Nooh (علیہ السلام ) kay Uswa-e-Mubarak say hamesha rahnumayi lete rehna chahiye jo azeem hoslay, Sabar-o-Tahammul, Istiqamat-o-Istiqlaal aur Azm-o-Subat  say ibarat hai.

Qadar-o-Qeemat Azm-o-Himmat mein hai nah keh kasrat mein:

 

Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ki taweel Jidd-o-Jahad, Paiham-e-Amal aur musalsal Dawat-e-Tuheed kay bawajood 80 afraad iman laye aur baki Kufr-o-Shirk, Inaad, Zidd aur Fakhar-o-Ghuroor hi mein gharq rahe. Is Mubarak Jidd-o-Jahad aur din raat ki Mehnat-e-Shaaqqa kay bawajood itne kam afraad ka iman lana, Dayaan-e-Tuheed  kay liye, Hargiz pareshani ka bais nahi hai. Is say nah un kay hoslay past hote hain aur nah un ka azm maanind padta hai. Balkeh un ki himmatain jawan rehti hain aur woh hamesha aik naye walwale aur umang say apna mision jaari rakhte hain kiyukeh un ki tasalli aur tashaffi kay liye un kay Rabb ne bada shaandaar ahtimam farmaya hai. Irshad-e-Baari Ta’aala hai.

 

قُلْ لَّا يَسْتَوِي الْخَبِيْثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ اَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيْثِ

 

“Aap farma dijiye! Na paak aur paak barabar nahi go aap ko naa paak ki kasrat bhali lagti ho.” (Al maidah: 5/100)

 

Yaani Kufr-o-Shirk ki ghalazaton mein lithade yeh lakhon kafir un chand mpminoon kay barabar nahi hain. Balkeh Dayaan-e-Haq ki himayat, Un ki tasalli aur unhain hosla dene kay liye Quran Majeed mein baar baar farmaya gaya: وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ “Lekin aksar log be ilm hain.”(Al A’raf: 7/187) Mazeed farmaya: وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ “Lekin aksar log jahalat ki batain karte hain.” (Al An’am: 6/111) وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ “Aur un mein say aksar log iman wale nahi.” (Al Shu,ara: 26/67)

Imam-ul-Anbiya (علیھم السلام ) ne Dayaan-e-Haq ko iman waloon ki qillat hone par tasalli dete howe farmaya: “Mujh par (pehli) ummatain pesh ki gayi to mein ne dekha keh aik Nabi kay sath das say kam perokaar hain, Kisi kay sath aik do iman wale hain aur kisi kay sath aik bhi momin nahi.” (Sahih Muslim, Al Iman, Baab-ul-Dalil Ala Dukhool-e-Tawaif Min al Muslimeen al Jannat ………Hadith: 220)

Lihaza Ahl-e-Tuheed kay liye afraad ki qillat pareshani ka bais nahi banti aur nah woh Kasrat-e-Afraad say Kibr-o-Ghuroor mein mubtala hote hain.

 

Sunnat-e-ilahi ka itmam aur kafiron par bad dua ka jawaaz:

 

Qoumon kay bare mein Allah Ta’aala ka tareeqa yeh raha hai keh woh un mein Rasool bhej kar, Kutub nazil kar kay unhain iman lane aur Raah-e-Haq ko apnane ka moqa deta hai. Jab Nabi apni qoum ko Paigham-e-Rabbani pohncha deta hai aur us ki tableegh mukammal ho jaati hai, To Allah Ta’aala ka faisla aur wada us qoum par poora ho jata hai. Jab tak momin qoum mein mojood rehte hain un ki muhlat baki rehti hai. Lekin jaise he muasharah salih logon say khali ho jata hai, Bad kirdar aur gunah garoon par Azaab-e-Ilahi aa jata hai. Jaisa keh Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ki qoum kay sath bhi howa. Nooh ( علیہ السلام) mominoon ko lay kar kashti mein sawaar ho kar basti say nikal gaye to baki log gharqaab kar diye gaye.

Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام) kay qissay say yeh bhi maloom hota hai keh jab kuffaar par Itmaam-e-Hujjat ho jaye, Un ki sarkashi aur bad ma,ashi had say badh jaye aur momin maghloob hojayain to kuffaar kay khilaaf bad dua ki jaa sakti hai. Jaisa keh Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ne apne Rabb ko madad kay liye pukarte howe iltija ki thi: اَنِّىْ مَغْلُوْبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ    “(Ae mere Rabb) mein be bas hoon tu meri madad kar.”(Al Qamar: 54/10)

 

Neez dua ki:

 

وَقَالَ نُوْحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَي الْاَرْضِ مِنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ دَيَّارًا   26؀ اِنَّكَ اِنْ تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوْا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوْٓا اِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا   27؀

 

“Ae mere Rabb! Tu roye Zameen par kisi kaafir ko rehne sehne wala nah chhod. Agar tu unhain chod de ga to (yaqeenan) yeh tere (aur) bandon ko (bhi) gumrah kar dain ge aur yeh kaafir aur dheeth kaafiron hi ko janam dain ge.” (Nooh: 71/26-27) Nabi Akram ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ne Ummat-e-Muhammadia ko kuffaar kay ghalbay aur un kay shark ay urooj par Dua-e-Qunoot-e-Nazila maangne ka hukum diya hai, khud bhi aese halaat mein Qunoot-e-Nazila padhi jaise keh qabeelah Muzar aur Ukul par bad dua farmayi aur quraish kay sardaroon Rabee,aa, Sheeba aur Utbah par bhi bad dua farmayi thi jab un ki aziyyatain Had say badh gayi theen.

 

Mominoon ki aazmaish:

 

Nooh ( علیہ السلام) kay qissay say yeh sabaq bhi milta hai keh Allah Ta’aala apne bandon ki aazmaish bhi karta hai, Un kay iman ka imtihan leta hai aur un ki ibtila say unhain iman mein pukhtighi aur Ai,temad –o-Yaqeen  ataa karta hai. Yeh imtihan kabhi infaraadi hota hai aur kabhi Ijtimai. Irshad-e-Baari Ta,aala hai:

 

اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ وَّاِنْ كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِيْنَ 30؀

 

“Yaqeenan us mein badi badi nishaniyan hain aur be shak aazmaish karne wale hain.” (Al Mominoon: 23/30)

 

Mominoon ki yeh aazmaish kai tareeqon say ho sakti hai. Jaisa keh Irshad-e-Baari Ta’aala hai:

 

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوْعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْاَمْوَالِ وَالْاَنْفُسِ وَالثَّمَرٰتِ ۭ وَبَشِّرِ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ   ١٥٥؁ۙ الَّذِيْنَ اِذَآ اَصَابَتْهُمْ مُّصِيْبَةٌ  ۙ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَاِنَّآ اِلَيْهِ رٰجِعُوْنَ ١٥٦؁ۭ اُولٰۗىِٕكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوٰتٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ   ۣوَاُولٰۗىِٕكَ ھُمُ الْمُهْتَدُوْنَ   ١٥٧؁

 

“Aur hum kisi nah kisi tarah tumhari aazmaish zaroor karain ge. Dushman kay dar say, Bhook piyas say, Maal-o-Jaan aur phaloon ki kami say. Aur un sabar karne waloon ko khush khabri de dijiye jinhain jab koi musibat aati hai to keh diya karte hain keh hum to khud Allah Ta’aala ki milkiyat hain aur hum usi ki taraf lotne wale hain. Un par un kay Rabb ki nawazashain aur rahmatain hain aur yahi log hidayat yafta hain.”(Al Baqarah: 2/155-157)

Lihaza Dawat-o-Irshad kay muqqadas mision say munsalik afraad ko har aazmaish aur mushkil ghadi mein Allah Ta’aala ki khusoosi rahmaton aur nawazishon ki khush khabri ko samne rakhna chahiye. Is say un ko naya hosla aur nayi himmat muyassar aaye gi.

Is kay bar aks kuffaar ko Allah Ta’aala muhlat deta hai. Woh apne dunyawi Maal-o-Dolat aur Shaan-o-Shokat mein magan rehte hain hata keh unhain Azaab-e-Ilahi charon taraf say ghair leta hai aur woh Dunya-o-Aakhrat  mein azeem khasaray say do chaar ho jate hain.

 

Buri suhbat ka Anjaam-e-Bad:

 

Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ka beta Aaghosh-e-Nubuwwat mein parwarish paane kay bawjood iman nah laya aur bil aakhir ibratnaak anjaam say do chaar ho gaya. Is saanhe ki ghehrayi mein jayain to maloom hota hai keh yeh buri suhbat ka Anjaam-e-Bad tha. Aap ka beta kafiroon kay sath rehne sehne ki wajah say iman qubool nah kar saka aur kafiroon kay Aqaaid-o-Aamal par kaarband ho gaya. Un ki buri suhbat us kay liye Zehr-e-Qaatil sabit howi aur us ka anjaam Zillat-o-Ruswayi ki soorat mein nikla.

Lihaza hamesha buri suhbat say ijtinaab karna chahiye aur naik logon ki suhbat ikhtiyaar karni chahiye. Rasool-e-Akram ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)  ne naik logon ki suhbat ikhtiyaar karne ki targheeb dete howe neez bure logon ki suhbat say darate howe darj zail khubsoorat misaal bayan farmayi hai. Aap ne farmaya:

“Naik sathi aur bure sathi ki misaal kasturi bechne aur bhatti dhounkne wale ki si hai. Kasturi bechne wala tumhain tuhfe mein (khushboo) de ga, Tum us say khareed lo ge ya (kum az kum) tumhain us say behtreen khushboo aaye gi. Jabkeh bhatti mein phonkain marne wala (aur aag jalane wala) ya to tumhare kapde jalaye gay ya tumhain us say bad tareen boo aaye gi.” (Sahih Muslim, Al Birr-o-Wal Silah, Baab-o-Istihbab-e-Mujalasati….., Hadith: 2628)

Is liye naik logon say ta,luqaat ustawaar karna chahiye jabkeh bure logon ki Mehfil-o-Majlis say kinarah kash rehna chahiye keh isi mein Deen-o-Dunya ki aafiyat muzamir hai.

 

Istiqlaal-o-Istiqaamat:

 

Dawat-e-Haq ki Kamyabi-o-Kamraani kay liye, Sabar-o-Subaat, Tahammul-o-Bardasht aur Istiqlaal-o-Istiqaamat bunyaadi shart hai. Hazrat Nooh ( علیہ السلام) ki taweel Jidd-o-Jahad say Dayaan-e-Haq ko Raah-e-Haq mein aane wali mushkilaat ka samna karne kay liye nayi himmat, Naya walwala aur naya jazba milta hai. Lihaza Dayaan-e-Tuheed ko haalat ki na saazi, Raste ki dushwari, Sathiyun ki qillat aur tang dasti ko kabhi khatir mein nah lana chahiye kiyukeh momin jitna bhi kamzor ho, Us ka dushman kitna hi mazboot kiyu nah ho, Bil aakhir momin kamyab rehta hai aur Kafir apne muhlik hathyaroon, Kaar gar chaloon aur be panah wasail kay bawjood Nakam-o-Namuraad rehta hai. Shart sirf yeh hai keh momin apne Rabb par bharosa kar kay, Sabar ka daman thaam kar, Raah-e-Haq mein aane wali mushkilaat kay samne seenah supar ho jaye, Phir usay Nusrat-e-Ilahi hasil hogi aur woh apne dushman par haawi ho jaye ga. Irshad-e-Baari Ta’aala hai:

 

وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ   “aur hum par mominoon ki madad karna lazim hai.” (Al Rum: 30/47)

Kafir chunkeh Nusrat-e-Baari Ta’aala say mahroom hote hain balkeh azaab un ko ghere howe hota hai is liye Nakami-o-Zillat un ka muqaddar banti hai. Allah Ta’aala kuffaar ki Dunya-o-Aakhrat mein barbaadi ki khabar dete howe farmata hai:

 

فَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَاُعَذِّبُھُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيْدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ   ۡ وَمَا لَھُمْ مِّنْ نّٰصِرِيْنَ   56؀

 

“phir kafiroon ko to mein Dunya-o-Aakhrat mein sakht tar azaab doon ga aur un ka koi madadgaar nah hoga .” ( Al-e-Imran: 3/56)

 

Butu ka be haqeeqat sabit hona:

 

Hazrat Nooh (  علیہ السلام) ki qoum say butt parsati ki ibtida howi. Wadd, Suwa, Yaghoos, Ya,ooq aur Nasr un kay bade bade buttu kay naam thay. Yeh dar haqeeqat un kay nihayat naik buzrughon kay naam hain. Jab yeh buzrugh fout howe to qoum sakht ghamzada aur afsardah howi. Us waqt shaitaan ne insaani shakal mein aakar un ko un buzrughon ki tasaweer bana kar unhain yaad rakhne ka mashwarah diya. Jab yeh nasal khatam ho gayi to baad mein aane waloon ko shaitanon ne yeh keh kar shar mein mubtala kar diya keh tumhare Aaba-o-Ajdaad to in hi ki ibadat karte thay. Is tarah un tasaweer ki ibadat shuru ho gayi jisay itna urooj mila keh arab qoum kay aksar qabail bhi inhi buttoon ko poojne lage.

Un kay bare mein un ka aqeedah yeh tha keh yeh butt unhain rozi dete hain, Mushkil kushayi karte hain, Aulad say nawazate hain aur un ki himayat aur nusrat karte hain. Isi liye jab Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ne unhain Azaab-e-Ilahi say daraya to woh kehne lage hamare daata hamein bacha lain ge, Woh hamari madad karain ge lihaza aap jo azaab lana chahte hain le aayain, Dosri taraf Umra-e-Qoum ne qoum ko hukum diya:

 

لَا تَذَرُنَّ اٰلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَّلَا سُوَاعًا  ڏ وَّلَا يَغُوْثَ وَيَعُوْقَ وَنَسْرًا  23؀ۚ

 

“Tum hargiz apne ma,boodun  ko nah chodna aur nah Wadd aur Suwa,a aur Yaghoos aur Ya,ooq aur Nasar ko(chodna).” (Nooh: 71/23)

 

Lekin jab Azaab-e-Ilahi aaya to yeh lakdi aur pathar kay andhe, Behre, Gonge aur Aqal-o-Shaoor say aari ma,bood un ki koi madad nah kar sake balkeh apni qoum kay sath hi gharqaab ho gaye. Irshad-e-Baari Ta’aala hai:

 

فَاَنْجَيْنٰهُ وَمَنْ مَّعَهٗ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُوْنِ   ١١٩؀ۚ ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبٰقِيْنَ   ١٢٠؀ۭ

 

“chunancha hum ne use aur us kay sathiyun ko bhari howi kashti mein (sawar kara kar) nijat de di. Baad azaan baaqi logon ko hum ne dabo diya.” (Al-Shu,ara: 26/119-120)

Jis tarah Qoum-e-Nooh kay butt be haqeeqat nikle thay isi tarah Barr-e-Sagheer kay hindun kay somnaat kay mandr mein rakhe butt bhi Sultan Mahmood Ghaznawi kay hathon paash paash ho gaye thay aur un kay pujaari hindu tukde tukde kar diye gaye magar koi un ki madad ko nah aya nah un ki tabahi par kisi ne aanso bahaye. فاعتبروا یا اولی الابصار

 

Tufaan-e-Nooh kay aasaar:

 

Hazrat Nooh (علیہ السلام ) ki nafarmaan Kafir qoum tufaan say Tabah-o-Barbaad ho gayi jabkeh mominoon ko Allah Ta’aala ne apne Fazal-o-Karam say Mahfooz-o-Maamoon rakha. Ulma-e-Tarikh ne is tufaan kay aasaar talash karne aur us qoum ki baqiyaat dhondhne ki koshish nahi ki balkeh usay na mumkin aur mahaal tasawwur kiya jata tha. Phir 1920 mein sar Leo Nard ki sarbarahi mein aik team ne Iraq mein Aasaar-e-Qadeemah ki tahqeeq kay liye khudayi ki. Yeh team Bartaniya kay museum aur america ki aik uniwersity kay muhaqqiqeen par mushtamil thi. Is team ne  “اور” (Ur) kay shamal mein waqe shehr Till Abeed mein khudayi ki to unhain kafi gehrayi mein madfoon chikni matti kay bartan, Mortiyan aur deegar aalat mile jo Ahd-e-Qadeem mein musta,mal thay. Laboratory test say yeh baat samne aayi keh is madfoon zakheere kay ajza Darya-e-Furaat kay wasti ilaqe say paani kay sath beh kar is jaga muntaqil howe hain. Is say maloom howa keh is ilaqe mein buhut pehle koi tufaan aaya tha. Muhakama-e-Aasaar-e-Qadeemah ki team ki tahqeeqaat say yeh baat bhi samne aayi keh jis paani ne yeh chezain yahan dafan kar di theen us ki unchayi kam iz kam pachees (25) fut thi. Taoraat mein us ski unchayi  26 fut bayan ki gayi hai. Sar Leo Nard ka yeh khayal bhi hai keh is tufaan say saari dunya tabah nahi howi thi balkeh yeh tufaan Dajla aur Furaat ki waadi mein aaya aur us ne pahadon aur sehraoon kay darmiyaani ilaqe ko malya mait kar diya. Lekin yeh nazriya Mahall-e-Nazar hai kiyukeh Quraan kay umoom say maloom hota hai keh yeh selaab aur tufaan poori dunya par aaya tha.

Prophet Nuh (Noah)

Variation on the Birth of Noah

He was Noah Ibn Lamik, Ibn Mitoshilkh, Ibn Enoch, Ibn yard, Ibn Mahlabeel. Ibn Qinan, Ibn Anoush, Ibn Seth, Ibn Adam the Father of Mankind (PBUH). According to the history of the People of the Book, (refers to the Jews, and Christians, so called by Allah because they received Revealed Books, Taurat, Zabur and Injeel. These names are translated “Torah, Psalms, and Gospels’ respectively, but the books that are extent are corrupt. Of the Revealed Books, ONLY the Quran remains exactly as it was revealed).

The period between the birth of Noah and the death of Adam was 146 years. (According to Genesis 5 (new Revised Standard Version), Noah was born one hundred and twenty six years after the death of Adam. Ibn Abbas narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “The period between Adam and Noah was ten centuries.” (Sahih Bukhari, Noah was bom 1056 years after Adam’s creation (or after he left the Garden of Eden). Thus, this hadith does not contradict the previous statement from the People of the Book as it may first appear to do. The reader should keep in mind, however that any statement or narratives taken from the People of the Book are not necessarily credible. This was taken from Genesis 5).

Noah’s People – Idolaters

For many generations Noah’s people had been worshipping statues that they called gods. They believed that these gods would bring them good, protect them from evil and provide all their needs. They gave their idols names such as Waddan, Suwa’an, Yaghutha, Ya’auga, and Nasran, (These idols represented, respectively, manly power, mutability, beauty; brute strength, swiftness, sharp sight, insight) according to the power they thought these gods possessed. Allah the Almighty revealed:

“They (idolaters) have said: “You shall not leave your gods nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor Ya uq nor Nasr (names of the idols).” (CH 71:23 Quran).

Originally these were the names of good people who had lived among them. After their deaths. statues of them were erected to keep their memories alive. After sometime, however, people began to worship these statues. Later generations did not even know why they had been erected; they only knew their parents had prayed to them. That is how idol worshipping developed. Since they had no understanding of Allah the Almighty Who would punish them for their evil deeds, they became cruel and immoral.

Various Hadith describing the Origin of Idolatry

Ibn Abbas explained: “Following upon the death of those righteous men, Satan inspired their people to erect statues in the places where they used to sit. They did this, but these statues were not worshiped until the coming generations deviated from the right way of life. Then they worshipped them as their idols.”

In his version, Ibn Jarir narrated: “There were righteous people who lived in the period between Adam and Noah and who had followers who held them as models. After their death, their friends who used to emulate them said: ‘If we make statues of them, it will be more pleasing to us in our worship and will remind us of them.’ So they built statues of them, and, after they had died and others came after them, Iblis crept into their minds saying: Your forefathers used to worship them and through that worship they got rain. So they worshipped them.”

Ibn Abi Hatim related this story: “Waddan was a righteous man who was loved by his people. When he died, they withdrew to his grave in the land of Babylonia and were overwhelmed by sadness. When Iblis saw their sorrow caused by his death, he disguised himself in the form of a man saying: ‘I have seen your sorrow because of this man’s death; can I make a statue like him which could be put in your meeting place to make you remember him? They said: ‘Yes.’ So he made the statue like him. They put it in their meeting place in order to be reminded of him. When Iblis saw their interest in remembering him, he said: ‘Can I build a statue of him in the home of each one of you so that he would be in everyone’s house and you could remember him?” They agreed. Their children learned about and saw what they were doing. They also learned about their remembrance of him instead of Allah. So the first to be worshipped instead of Allah was Waddan, the idol which they named thus.”

The essence of this point is that every idol from those earlier mentioned was worshipped by a certain group of people. It was mentioned that people made picture sand as the ages passed they made these pictures into statues, so that their forms could be fully recognized; afterwards they were worshipped instead of Allah.

It was narrated that Umm Salmah and Umm Habibah told Allah’s Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) about the church called “Maria” which they had seen in the land of Abyssinia. They described its beauty and the pictures therein. He said: “Those are the people who build places of worship on the grave of every dead man who was righteous and then make therein those pictures. Those are the worst of creation unto Allah.” (Sahih al Bukhari).

Commentary – Idolatry

Worshipping anything other than Allah is a tragedy that results not only in the loss of freedom; its serious effect reaches man’s mind and destroys it as well. Almighty Allah created man and his mind with its purpose set on achieving knowledge the most important of which is that Allah alone is the Creator and all the rest are worshippers (slaves). Therefore, disbelief in Allah, or polytheism, results in the loss of freedom, the destruction of the mind, and the absence of a noble target in life. (By worshipping anything other than Allah, man becomes enslaved to Satan, who is himself a creature and becomes harnessed to his own baser qualities). Into this environment Allah sent Noah with His message to his people. Noah was the only intellectual not caught in the whirlpool of man’s destruction which was caused by polytheism.

Noah’s Reasoning with his People

Allah in His Mercy sent His messenger Noah to guide his people. Noah was an excellent speaker and a very patient man. He pointed out to his people the mysteries of life and the wonders of the universe. He pointed out how the night is regularly followed by the day and that the balance between these opposites were designed by Allah the Almighty for our good. The night gives coolness and rest while the day gives warmth and awakens activity. The sun encourages growth, keeping all plants and animals alive, while the moon and stars assist in the reckoning of time, direction and seasons. He pointed out that the ownership of the heavens and the earth belongs only to the Divine Creator. Therefore, he explained to this people, there cannot have been more than one deity. He clarified to them how the devil had deceived them for so long and that the time had come for this deceit to stop. Noah spoke to them of Allah’s glorification of man, how HE had created him and provided him with sustenance and the blessings of a mind. He told them that idol worshipping was a suffocating injustice to the mind. He warned them not to worship anyone but Allah and described the terrible punishment Allah would mete out if they continued in their evil ways.

 Division Among Noah’s People

The people listened to him in silence. His words were a shock to their stagnating minds as it is a shock to a person who is asleep under a wall which is about to fall and who is vigorously awakened. This person may be alarmed and may even become angry although the aim was to save him.

Noah’s people were divided into two groups after his warning. His words touched the hearts of the weak, the poor, and the miserable and soothed their wounds with its mercy. As for the rich, the strong, the mighty and the rulers they looked upon the warning with cold distrust. They believed they would be better off if things stayed as they were. Therefore they started their war of words against Noah.

The Disbelievers’ Arguments

First they accused Noah of being only human like themselves.

The chiefs of the disbelievers among his people said: “We see you but a man like ourselves.”

(Ch 11:27 Quran)

 He, however, had never said anything other than that. He asserted that, indeed, he was only a human being: Allah had sent a human messenger because the earth was inhabited by humans. If it had been inhabited by angels Allah would have sent an angelic messenger. The contest between the polytheists and Noah continued. the rulers had thought at first that Noah’s call would soon fade on its own. When they found that his call attracted the poor, the helpless and common laborers, they started to verbally attack and taunt him: ‘You are only followed by the poor, the meek and the worthless.’

Allah the Almighty told us:

 “Indeed We sent Noah to his people (he said): “I have come to you as a plain Warner that you worship none but Allah, surely, I fear for you the torment of a painful Day.” the chiefs of the disbeliveers among his people said: “We see you but a man like ourselves, nor do we see any follow you but the meanest among us and they too followed you without thinking. And we do not see in you any merit above us in fact we think you are liars.” (CH 11:25-27).

The Disbelievers Attempt to Bargain

Thus the conflict between Noah and the heads of his people intensified. The disbelied to bargain: “Listen Noah, if you want us to believe in you, then dismiss your believers. They are meek and poor, while are elite and rich; no faith can include us both.” Noah listened to the heathens of his community and realized they were being obstinate. However, he was gentle in his guests but Allah’s. Noah appealed to them

“O my people! I ask of you no wealth for it, my reward is from none but Allah I am not going to drive away those who have believed. Surely, they are going to meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people that are ignorant. O my people! Who will help me against Allah, if I drove them away? Will you not then give a thought? And I do not say to you that with me are the Treasures of Allah nor that I know the unseen, nor do I say I am an angel, and I do not say of those whom your eyes look down upon that Allah will not bestow any good on them. Allah knows what is in their inner selves (regards to Belief). In that case, I should, indeed be one of the Zalimeen (wrongdoers, oppressors etc).” (Ch 11:29-31 Quran)

Noah refuted the arguments of the disbelievers with the noble knowledge of the prophets. It is the logic of intellect that rids itself of personal pride and interests.

The Disbelievers Remain Ignorant

The rulers were tired of Noah’s arguments. Allah the Exalted related their attitude:

They said: “O Noah! You have disputed with us and much have you prolonged the dispute with us, now bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you are of the truthful.” He said: “Only Allah will bring it (the punishment)on you, if He will, and then you will escape not. And my advice will not profit you, even if I wish to give you counsel, if Allah’s Will is to keep you astray. He is your Lord! And to Him you shall return.”

(Ch 11:32-34 Quran)

The battle continued; the arguments between the disbeliveers and Noah became prolonged. When all the refutations of the disbe liveers collapsed and they had no more to say, they began to be rude and insulted Allah’s prophet:

“The leaders of his people said: “Verily, we see you in plain error.” (Ch 7:60 Quran)

Noah responded in the manner of the prophets:

 “O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)!I convey unto you the Messages of my Lord and give sincere advice to you. And I know from Allah what you know not.” (CH 7:61-62 Quran)

Noah continued appealing to his people to believe in Allah hour after hour, day after day year after year. He admonished his people and called them to Allah day and night, in secret and openly. HE gave them examples, explained Allah’s signs and illustrated Allah’s ability in the formation of His creatures. But whenever he called them to Allah, they ran away from him. Whenever he urged them to ask Allah to forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears and became too proud to listen to the truth.

Noah’s Appeal to His People

Allah the Almighty related what Noah faced:

“Verily. We sent Noah to his people saying: “Warn your people before there comes to them a painful torment.” He said “O my people! Verily, I am a plain Warner to you, that you should worship Allah alone, be dutiful to Him and obey me, He (Allah) will forgive you of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Verily, the term of Allah when it comes, cannot be delayed, if you but knew,”

” He said: “O my Lord! Verily, I have called my people night and day (secretly and openly to accept the doctrine of Islamic Monotheism), but all my calling added nothing but to their flight from the truth. Verily! Everytime I called unto them that You might forgive them, they thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, and persisted (in their refusal), and magnified themselves in pride. Then verily, I called to them openly (aloud); then verily, I proclaimed to them in public, and I have appealed to them in private, I said to them: Ask forgiveness from your Lord Verily. He is Oft Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance, and give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”

What is the matter with you, that you fear not Allah (His Punishment), and you hope not for reward from Allah or you believe not in His Oneness. While He has created you in different stages. (Ch 23:13-14 Quran)

See you not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, and has made the moon a light therein and made the sun a lamp? And Allah has brought you forth from the dust of earth. Afterwards He will return you into it (the earth), and bring you forth (again on the Day of Resurrection) Allah has made for you the earth wide spread (an expanse) that you may go about therein broad roads.

 Noah said: “My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but only loss. They have plotted a mighty plot. They have said: you shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor ya’ug nor Nasr (names of the idols). Indeed they have led many astray. O Allah! Grant no increase to the Zalimeen (polytheists, wrongdoers, and disbeliveers etc) save error,” Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire and they found none to help them instead of Allah. (Ch 71:1-25 Quran).

The Length of Noah’s Preaching

Noah continued to call his people to believe in Allah for nine hundred fifty years. Allah the Almighty said: Indeed We sent Noah to his people and he stayed among them a thousand years less fifty years (inviting them to believe in the Oneness of Allah (Monotheism) and discard the false gods and other deities).

(Ch 29:14 Quran)

It happened that every passing generation admonished the succeeding one not to believe Noah and to wage war against him. the father used to teach his child about the matter that was between himself and Noah and counsel him to reject his call when he reached adulthood. Their natural disposition rejected believing and following the truth.

Noah saw that the number of believers was not increasing, while that of the disbeliveers was. He was sad for his people, but he never reached the point of despair.

Noah Prays for the Disbeliever’s End

There came a day when Allah revealed to Noah that no others would believe. Allah inspired him not to grieve for them at which point Noah prayed that the disbe liveers be destroyed. He said:

 “My Lord! Leave not one of the disbeliveers on the earth. If you leave them, they will mislead Your slaves and they will beget none but wicked disbeliveers.” (Ch 71:27 Quran)

Allah accepted Noah’s prayer. The case was closed, and He passed His judgment on the dis be liveers in the form of a flood. Allah the Exalted ordered His worshipper Noah to build an ark with His knowledge and instructions and with the help of angels, Almighty Allah commanded:

“And construct the ship under Our Eyes and with Our Inspiration and address Me not on behalf of those who did wrong; they are surely to be drowned.” (Ch 11:37 Quran)

Noah Builds the Ark

Noah chose a place outside the city, far from the sea. HE collected wood and tools and began to day and night to build the ark. The people’s mockery continued: “O Noah! Does carpentry appeal to you more than prophethood? Why are you building an ark so far from the sea? Are you going to drag it to the water or is the wind going to carry it for you?” Noah replied: “You will come to know who will be put to shame and suffer.”

Allah the Almighty narrated:

“As he was constructing the ship, whenever the chiefs of his people passed by him, they made a mockery of him. He said: “If you mock at us, so do we mock at you likewise for your mocking. And you will know who it is on whom will come a torment that will cover him with disgrace and on whom will fall a lasting torment.”

(Ch 11:38-39 Quran)

The Flood begins

The ship was constructed, and Noah sat waiting Allah’s command. Allah revealed to him that when water miraculously gushed forth from the oven at Noah’s house, that would be the sign of the start of the flood, and the sign for Noah to act.

The terrible day arrived when the oven at Noah’s house overflowed. Noah hurried to open the ark and summon the believers. He also took with him a pair, male and female, of every type of animal, bird and insect. Seeing him taking these creatures to the ark, the people laughed loudly. “Noah must have gone out of his head! What is he going to do with the animals?” Almighty Allah narrated:

“So it was till then there came Our Command and the oven gushed forth (water like fountains from the earth). We said: “Embark therein, of each kind two (male and female), and your family, except him against whom the Word has already gone forth, and those who believe.” And none believed him except a few.

(Ch 11:40 Quran)

The Number of Believers

Noah’s wife was not a believer with him so she did not join him; neither did one of Noah’s sons, who was secretly a disbeliever but had pretended faith in front of Noah. Likewise most of the people were disbeliveers and did not go on board.

The scholars hold different opinions on the number of those who were with Noah on the ship. Ibn Abbas stated that there were 80 believers while Ka ab al Ahbar held that there were 72 believers. Others claimed that there were 10 believers with Noah.

Description of the Flood

Water rose from the cracks in the earth; there was not a crack from which water did not rise. rain poured from the sky in quantities never seen before on earth. Water continued pouring from the sky rising from the cracks; hour after hour the level rose. The seas and waves invaded the land. The interior of the earth moved in a strange way, and the ocean floors lifted suddenly, flooding the dry land. The earth, for the first time was submerged.

Noah Appeals to his Son

Allah told the story thus: He (Noah) said:

“Embark therein in the Name of Allah will be its moving course and its resting anchorage. Surely, my Lord is Oft Forgiving, most Merciful.”

So it (the ship) sailed with them amidst the waves like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (apart), “O my son! Embark with us and be not with the disbelivers.”

The son replied. “I will betake myself to a mountain, it will save me from the water.” Noah said: “This day there is no savior from the Decree of Allah except him on whom He has mercy.” And a wave came in between them so he (the son) was among the drowned.” (Ch. 11: 41-43)

The Flood Ends

It was said:

“O Earth! Swallow up your water, and O sky! Withhold (your rain).” The water was diminished (made to subside) and the Decree (of Allah) was fulfilled (the destruction of the people of Noah). And it (the ship) rested on Mount Judi, and it was said: “Away with the people who are Zalimeen (polytheists, and wrongdoing)!” And it was said:

“O Noah! Come down (from the ship) with peace from Us and blessings on you and on the people olwho are with you(and on some of their offspring), but (there will be other) people to whom We shall grant their pleasures (for a time), but in the end a painful torment will reach them from Us.” (Ch 11:41-48 Quran)

With the issue of the divine command, calm returned to earth, the water retreated, and the dry land shone once again in the rays of the sun. The flood had cleansed the earth of the disbeliveers and polytheists.

The Believers Disembark

Noah released the birds, and the beats which scattered over the earth. After that the believers disembarked. Noah put his forehead to the ground in prostration. The survivors kindled a fire and sat around it. Lighting a fire had been prohibited on board so as not to ignite the ship’s wood and burn it up. None of them had eaten hot food during the entire period of the floor. Following the disembarkation there was a day of fasting in thanks to Allah.

Noah’s Death

The Quran draws the curtain on Noah’s story. We do not know how his affairs with his people continued. All we know or can ascertain is that on his deathbed he requested his son to worship Allah alone, Noah then passed away. Abdullah Ibn Amr Ibn Al as narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “When the death of the Messenger of Allah Noah approached, he admonished his sons: ‘Indeed I would give you far reaching advice, commanding you to do two things, and warning you against doing two things as well. I charge you to believe that there is no god but Allah and that if the seven heavens and the seven earths were put on one side of a scale and the words “there is no god but Allah” were put on the other, the latter would outweigh the former. I warn you against associating partners with Allah and against pride.” (Sahih al Bukhari) Some traditions said that his grave is in the Scared Mosque in Mecca, while others said that he was buried in Baalabak, a city in Iraq.
