Naam-O-Nasab Aur Be’a’sat

 

Naam, Nasab Aur Ilaqa:

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ka nasab nama youn hai: “Hood Bin Shalikh Bin Arfakhshad Bin Saa/m Bin Nooh علیہ السلام”. ((ھود بن شالخ بن ارفخشد بن سام بن نوح علیہ السلام)). Aik qoal ke mutabiq Hood علیہ السلام ka naam “Aabir” hai jo “Shalikh” ke bete thay aur woh “Arfakhshad” ke bete thay, Jo Saam Bin Nooh ke bete thay.

Ap ka nasab youn bhi bayan kiya jata hai: Hood Bin Abdullah Bin Rabah Al-Jorood Bin Aad Bin Aous Bin Irum Iban-e-Saam Iban-e-Nooh علیہ السلام.

Ap qabila “Aad” se taluq rakhte thay. Yeh aik arabi qabila tha jin ki rihaa’ish Uman aur Hazar-e-Moat ke darmiyan rait ke teelon wale ilaqe (Ahqaf) mein thi. Yeh ilaqa samandar ke kinare par waqe’e tha. jo [Shahar] ke naam se ma’aroof tha aur un ki wadi ka naam “Mughees” tha.

 

Yeh log zayada tar lambe lambe satoonon wale khaimon mein rehte thay. Jaisa keh Irshad-e-Bari Taala hai:

 

اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ   Č۝۽اِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِ   Ċ۝۽الَّتِيْ لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي الْبِلَادِ   Ď۝۽

 

“Kaya tum ne jana nahin keh tumhare Parwardigaar ne Aad ke sath kaya kiya (jo) Irum (kehlate thay, Itne) daraaz qad keh tamaam mulak mein aise log paida nahin huay thay.”(Al-Fajar: 89/6-8) { مِثْلُهَا } se murad yeh hai keh is qabeele jaise (qawi haikal) log kisi aur ilaqe mein nahin thay.

Kehte hein sab se pehle Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne arabi zuban mein kalaam farmaya. Albatta Wahab Bin Munabbah رحمتہ اللہ farmate hein keh Hood علیہ السلام ke walid sab se pehle arabi bolne wale thay. Ba’az hazraat ne Hazrat Nooh علیہ السلام aur Hazrat Aadam علیہ السلام ka naam liya hai. Kuch doosare aqwaal bhi hein. (واللہ اعلم)

Hazrat Ismail علیہ السلام se pehle arab ke bashinde “Arab Aariba” khalis arab kehlate hein. In mein bahut se qabaail shamil hein. Maslan: Aad, Samood, Jurham, Tisam, Judais, Umaim, Madyan, Imlaq, Jasim, Qahtan, Banu Yaqtan waghera.

Hazrat Ibrahim علیہ السلام ke farzand Hazrat Ismail علیہ السلام ki aulad “Arab Must’ariba” kehlati hai. Fasih-o-Baleegh arabi zuban mein sab se pehle Hazrat Ismail علیہ السلام ne kalaam farmaya. Ap ne arabi zuban Qabila-e-Jurham ke un afraad se seekhi thi, Jo Ap ki walida Hazrat Hajira علیہ السلام ke pas rihaish pazeer ho gay thay. ( is waqia ki tafseel apne muqam par bayan ho gi) lekin Allah Taala ne Hazrat Ismail علیہ السلام ko intihai Fasaahat-o-Balaaghat ata farmai thi. Rasool Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم bhi usi andaz se Faseeh-o-Baleegh arabi mein kalaam farmaya karte thay.

 

Hood علیہ السلام ki Be’asat:

 

Toofan-e-Nooh ke baad sab se pehle Qoam-e-Aad ne jinhein “Aad-e-Oola” bhi kaha jata hai, But parasti ikhtiyar ki. Un ke teen but thay. Jin ke naam Samad, Samood aur Har thay. Chunamchah Allah Taala ne un ke bhai Hood علیہ السلام ko nabi bana kar mab’oos farmaya. Unhon ne Apni qoam ko Allah ki taraf bulaya. Allah Taala ne Soorah-e-Araaf mein Hazrat Nooh علیہ السلام ka waqia bayan karne ke baad farmaya:

 

وَاِلٰي عَادٍ اَخَاهُمْ هُوْدًا  ۭقَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗ  ۭ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ   65؀ قَالَ الْمَلَاُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖٓ اِنَّا لَنَرٰكَ فِيْ سَفَاهَةٍ وَّاِنَّا لَنَظُنُّكَ مِنَ الْكٰذِبِيْنَ 66؀ قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِيْ سَفَاهَةٌ وَّلٰكِنِّيْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ 67؀ اُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسٰلٰتِ رَبِّيْ وَاَنَا لَكُمْ نَاصِحٌ اَمِيْنٌ 68؀ اَوَعَجِبْتُمْ اَنْ جَاۗءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ عَلٰي رَجُلٍ مِّنْكُمْ لِيُنْذِرَكُمْ ۭ وَاذْكُرُوْٓا اِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاۗءَ مِنْۢ  بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوْحٍ وَّزَادَكُمْ فِي الْخَلْقِ بَصْۜطَةً  ۚ فَاذْكُرُوْٓا اٰلَاۗءَ اللّٰهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ 69؀ قَالُوْٓا اَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللّٰهَ وَحْدَهٗ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ اٰبَاۗؤُنَا  ۚ فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ   70؀ قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌ وَّغَضَبٌ  ۭ اَتُجَادِلُوْنَنِيْ فِيْٓ اَسْمَاۗءٍ سَمَّيْتُمُوْهَآ اَنْتُمْ وَاٰبَاۗؤُكُمْ مَّا نَزَّلَ اللّٰهُ بِهَا مِنْ سُلْطٰنٍ ۭ فَانْتَظِرُوْٓا اِنِّىْ مَعَكُمْ مِّنَ الْمُنْتَظِرِيْنَ    71؀ فَاَنْجَيْنٰهُ وَالَّذِيْنَ مَعَهٗ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَمَا كَانُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ 72؀ۧ

 

“Aur (isi tarah) Qoam-e-Aad ki taraf un ke bhai Hood ko bheja. Unhon ne kaha keh bhaiyo! Allah hi ki ibaadat karo. Us ke siwa tumhara koi ma’abood nahin. Kaya tum darte nahin? Un ki qoam ke sardaar jo kafir thay kehne lage tum humein ahmaq nazar aate ho aur hum tumhein jhoota khayal karte hein. Unhon ne kaha keh bhaiyo! Mujh mein hamaaqat ki koi baat nahin balkeh mein Rabb-ul-Aalameen ka paighamber hoon, mein tumhein Allah ke paigham pohanchata hoon aur tumhara amaanatdaar khair-khawah hoon. Kaya tum ko is baat par ta’ajub huwa hai keh tum mein se aik shakhas ke hath tumhare Parwardigaar ki taraf se tumare pas nasihat aai takeh woh tumhein daraaye. Aur yad karo jab Us ne tumhein Qoam-e-Nooh ke ba’ad sardaar banaaya aur tumhein phelao zayada ata kiya. Pus Allah ki ne’amaton ko yad karo takeh nijaat hasil kar sako. Woh kehne lage keh tum hamare pas is liye aaye ho keh hum akele Allah hi ki ibaadat karein aur jin ko hamare baap dada poojte chale aaye hein un ko chod dein? Agar tum sache ho to jis cheez se hmein daraate ho usay le aao. Hood ne kaha keh tumhare Parwardigaar ki taraf se tum par azaab aur ghazab (ka nazil hona) muqadar ho chuka hai. Kaya tum mujh se aise namon ke bare mein jaghadte ho jo tum ne aur tumhare baap dada ne (apni taraf se) rakh liye hein jin ki Allah ne koi sanad nazil nahin ki. So tum bhi initazar karo mein bhi tumhare sath intizar karta hoon. Phir Hum ne Hood ko aur jo log un ke sath thay, Un ko nijaat bakhshi aur jinhon ne hamari aayaton ko jhutlaya tha un ki jad kaat di aur woh imaan laane wale thay hi nahin.” (Al-Araaf: 7/65-72)

 

Aur Soorah-e-Hood mein Hazrat Nooh علیہ السلام ke waq’ay ke ba’ad farmaya:

 

وَاِلٰي عَادٍ اَخَاهُمْ هُوْدًا  ۭ قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗ  ۭ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا مُفْتَرُوْنَ    50؀ يٰقَوْمِ لَآ اَسْـــَٔـلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ اَجْرًا  ۭ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلَي الَّذِيْ فَطَرَنِيْ  ۭ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ   51 ؀ وَيٰقَوْمِ اسْتَغْفِرُوْا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوْبُوْٓا اِلَيْهِ يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاۗءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّدْرَارًا وَّيَزِدْكُمْ قُوَّةً اِلٰي قُوَّتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَوَلَّوْا مُجْرِمِيْنَ     52؀ قَالُوْا يٰهُوْدُ مَا جِئْتَنَا بِبَيِّنَةٍ وَّمَا نَحْنُ بِتَارِكِيْٓ اٰلِهَتِنَا عَنْ قَوْلِكَ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ      53؀ اِنْ نَّقُوْلُ اِلَّا اعْتَرٰىكَ بَعْضُ اٰلِهَتِنَا بِسُوْۗءٍ  ۭ قَالَ اِنِّىْٓ اُشْهِدُ اللّٰهَ وَاشْهَدُوْٓا اَنِّىْ بَرِيْۗءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُوْنَ     54؀ۙ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ فَكِيْدُوْنِيْ جَمِيْعًا ثُمَّ لَا تُنْظِرُوْنِ   55؀ اِنِّىْ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَي اللّٰهِ رَبِّيْ وَرَبِّكُمْ ۭ مَا مِنْ دَاۗبَّةٍ اِلَّا هُوَ اٰخِذٌۢ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا  ۭ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ عَلٰي صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ   56؀ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقَدْ اَبْلَغْتُكُمْ مَّآ اُرْسِلْتُ بِهٖٓ اِلَيْكُمْ  ۭ وَيَسْتَخْلِفُ رَبِّيْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَضُرُّوْنَهٗ شَـيْـــًٔـا  ۭ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ عَلٰي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيْظٌ      57؀ وَلَمَّا جَاۗءَ اَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا هُوْدًا وَّالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَعَهٗ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا  ۚ وَنَجَّيْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيْظٍ      58؀ وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ ڐ جَحَدُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا رُسُلَهٗ وَاتَّبَعُوْٓا اَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيْدٍ    59؀ وَاُتْبِعُوْا فِيْ هٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً وَّيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ  ۭ اَلَآ اِنَّ عَادًا كَفَرُوْا رَبَّهُمْ ۭ اَلَا بُعْدًا لِّعَادٍ قَوْمِ هُوْدٍ        60 ؀ۧ

 

“Aur hum ne Aad ki taraf un ke bhai Hood ko bheja. Unhon ne kaha keh aye meri qoam! Allah hi ki ibaadat karo, Us ke siwa tumhara koi ma’abood nahin. Tum (shirak kar ke Allah par) mahaz bohtaan bandhte ho. Aye meri qoam! Mein is (Wa’az-o-Naseehat) ka tum se kuch sila nahin mangta. Mera sila to Us ke zimme hai jis ne mujhe paida kiya. Bhala tum samajhte kiyoun nahin? Aur aye meri qoam! Apne Parwardigaar se bakhshish mango, Phir Us ke aagay tobah karo. Woh tum par aasman se moosala dhaar meenh barsaye ga aur tumhari taaqat par taaqat badhaye ga aur (dekho) gunahgaar ban kar roo-gardaani na karo. Woh bole: Aye Hood! Tum hamare pas koi Daleel-e-Zahir le kar nahin aaye aur hum (siraf) tumhare kehne se na apne ma’aboodon ko chodne wale hein aur na tum par iman lane wale hein. Hum to yeh samajhte hein keh hamare kisi ma’abood ne tumhein aasaib pohancha (kar diwana kar) diya hai. Unhon ne kaha keh mein Allah ko gawah banaata hoon aur tum bhi gawah raho keh jin ko tum (Allah ka) shareek banaate ho, Mein un se bezar hoon. (Jin ki) Allah ke siwa (ibaadat karte ho, Woh aur) tum sab mil kar mere bare mein (jo) tadbeer (karna chaho) kar lo aur mujhe mohlat na do. Mein Allah par, Jo mera aur tumhara (sab ka) Parwardigaar hai, Bharosa rakhta hoon. (Zameen par) jo bhi chalne phirne wala hai Woh us ko choti se pakde huay hai. Beshak mera Parwardigaar seedhay raaste par hai. Agar tum roo-gardaani karo gay to jo paigham mere hath tumhari taraf bheja geya hai, Woh mein ne tumhein pohancha diya hai aur mera Parwardigaar tumhari jagah aur logon ko la basaaye ga aur tum Allah ka kuch bhi nuqsan nahin kar sakte. Mera Parwardigaar to har cheez par nigehbaan hai. Aur jab hamara hukam (azaab) aa pohancha to Hum ne Hood ko aur jo log un ke sath iman laaye thay un ko apni meharbani se bacha liya aur unhein Azaab-e-Shadeed se nijat di. Yeh (wahi) Aad hein jinhon ne Allah ki nishaniyon se inkar kiya aur us ke paigembaron ki na farmani ki aur har Mutkabbir-o-Sarkash ka kaha mana to is duniya mein bhi la’anat un ke pichay lagi rahi aur qayamat ke din bhi (lagi rahe gi). Dekho Aad ne apne Parawardigaar se kufar kiya (aur) sun rakho Hood ki qoam Aad par phittkaar hai.” (Hood: 11/50-60)

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne qoam ko Da’awat-e-Ghor-o-Fikar di to qoam mazeed Kufar-o-Inaad mein dhans gai aur apne haq par hone ke bhudde dalaail ghad laai aur unhon ne Ap ki nubuwwat aur aakhirat ka inkar kar diya. Soorah-e-Mominoon mein Nooh علیہ السلام ke waq’aye ke ba’ad irshad hai:

 

ثُمَّ اَنْشَاْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا اٰخَرِيْنَ 31؀ۚ فَاَرْسَلْنَا فِيْهِمْ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْهُمْ اَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗ  ۭ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ 32؀ۧ وَقَالَ الْمَلَاُ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِلِقَاۗءِ الْاٰخِرَةِ وَاَتْرَفْنٰهُمْ فِي الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا  ۙ مَا ھٰذَآ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ  ۙ يَاْكُلُ مِمَّا تَاْكُلُوْنَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُوْنَ 33؀۽ وَلَىِٕنْ اَطَعْتُمْ بَشَرًا مِّثْلَكُمْ ۙ اِنَّكُمْ اِذًا لَّخٰسِرُوْنَ 34؀ۙ اَيَعِدُكُمْ اَنَّكُمْ اِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنْتُمْ تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا اَنَّكُمْ مُّخْــرَجُوْنَ 35؀۽ هَيْهَاتَ هَيْهَاتَ لِمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ 36؀۽ اِنْ هِىَ اِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوْتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوْثِيْنَ 37؀۽ اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا رَجُلُۨ افْتَرٰى عَلَي اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا وَّمَا نَحْنُ لَهٗ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ 38؀ قَالَ رَبِّ انْصُرْنِيْ بِمَا كَذَّبُوْنِ 39؀ قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِيْلٍ لَّيُصْبِحُنَّ نٰدِمِيْنَ 40؀ۚ فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنٰهُمْ غُثَاۗءً  ۚ فَبُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ 41؀

 

“Phir un ke ba’ad hum ne aik aur jama’at paida ki aur unhi mein se un mein aik paigembar bheja (jis ne un se kaha) keh Allah hi ki ibaadat karo (keh) us ke siwa tumhara koi ma’abood nahin, To kaya tum darte nahin? Aur un ki qoam ke sardaar jo kafir thay aur aakhirat ke aane ko jhoot samajhte thay aur duniya ki zindagi mein hum ne un ko aasoodagi de rakhi thi, Kehne lage keh yeh to tumhare jaisa aadami hai. Jis qisam ka khana tum khate ho usi tarah ka yeh bhi khata hai aur jo pani tum peete ho usi qisam ka yeh bhi peeta hai aur agar tum ne apne hi jaise aadami ka kehna maan liya to ghatte mein pad gaye. Kaya yeh tum se yeh kehta hai keh tum mar jao gay aur matti ho jao gay aur haddiyon ke siwa kuch na rahe ga to tum (zameen se) nikale jao gay? Jis bat ka tum se wa’ada kiya jata hai (bahut) ba’eed hai. Zindagi to yehi hamari duniya ki zindagi hai keh is mein hum marte aur jeete hein aur hum dobara nahin uthaye jaein gay? Yeh to aik aisa aadami hai js ne Allah par jhoot iftara kiya hai aur hum is ko maanane wale nahin. Paighembar ne kaha aye mere Parwardigaar! Inhon ne mujhe jhoota samjha hai tu meri madad kar. Farmaya keh woh thode hi arse mein pasheman ho kar reh jayen gay. Chunanchah un ko Wada-e-Bar’haq ke mutabiq zor ki awaz ne aan pakda to hum ne un ko kooda kirkat kar dala. Pus zalim lgon par la’anat hai.” (Al-Mominoon: 23/31-41)

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne qoam ko Allah Taala ke in’aamaat yad dilaye takeh woh apne Maalik-o-Raziq ko pehchan jaein magar un ke dilon par kufar ke qufal pad chuke thay. Soorah-e-Sho’ara’a mein Nooh علیہ السلام ke waq’aye hi ke ba’ad irshad hai:

 

كَذَّبَتْ عَادُۨ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ   ١٢٣؀ښ اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ هُوْدٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ   ١٢٤؀ۚ اِنِّىْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِيْنٌ   ١٢٥؀ۙ فَاتَّـقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ   ١٢٦؀ۚ وَمَآ اَسْـَٔــلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ ۚ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلٰي رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ   ١٢٧؀ۭ اَتَبْنُوْنَ بِكُلِّ رِيْعٍ اٰيَةً تَعْبَثُوْنَ   ١٢٨؀ۙ وَتَتَّخِذُوْنَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُوْنَ   ١٢٩؀ۚ وَاِذَا بَطَشْتُمْ بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِيْنَ   ١٣٠؀ۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ   ١٣١؀ۚ وَاتَّــقُوا الَّذِيْٓ اَمَدَّكُمْ بِمَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ   ١٣٢؁ۚ اَمَدَّكُمْ بِاَنْعَامٍ وَّبَنِيْنَ   ١٣٣؀ڌ وَجَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍ   ١٣٤؀ۚ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ   ١٣٥؀ۭ قَالُوْا سَوَاۗءٌ عَلَيْنَآ اَوَعَــظْتَ اَمْ لَمْ تَكُنْ مِّنَ الْوٰعِظِيْنَ   ١٣٦؀ۙ اِنْ ھٰذَآ اِلَّا خُلُقُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ  ١٣٧؀ۙ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِيْنَ   ١٣٨؀ۚ فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ ۭ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً  ۭ وَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ   ١٣٩؁ وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ   ١٤٠؀ۧ

 

“Aad ne bhi paighembaron ko jhutlaya. Jab un se un ke bhai Hood ne kaha: kaya tum darte nahin? Mein to tumhara amaanat daar paighembar hoon. So Allah se daro aur mera kehna mano aur mein is ka tum se kuch badla nahin mangta. Mera badla (Allah) Rab-ul-Aalimeen ke zimme hai. Bhala tum jo har uonchi jagah par nishan ta’ameer karte ho aur mehal bnate ho shayad tum hamesha raho gay aur jab (kisi ko) pakadte ho to zalimana pakadte ho, So Allah se daro aur meri ita’at karo aur jis ne tum ko in cheezon se madad di. Jin ko tum jante ho, Us se daro. Us ne tumhein charpayon aur beton se madad di aur baghon aur chashmon se. Mujh ko tumhare bare mein bade (sakhat) din ke azaab ka khoaf hai. Woh kehne lage: Humein khawah naseehat karo ya na karo hamare liye yaksan hai. Yeh to aglon hi ke tareeq hein aur hum par koi azaab nahin aaye ga. So unhon ne Hood ko jhutlaya to hum ne un ko halaak kar dala. Beshak is mein nishani hai aur un mein aksar iman laane wale nahin thay. Aur tumhara Parwardigaar to ghalib aur meharban hai.” (Al-Shu’ara’a: 26/123-140)

 

Hood علیہ السلام Ki Da’awat Aur Qoam Ka Rawayya

 

Jab Hood علیہ السلام ne unhein Allah ki ibaadat karne ka hukam diya, Us ke ahkaam ki ta’ameel karne aur Us se maghfirat talab karne ki targheeb dilaai aur iman na lane ki soorat mein duniya aur aakhirat mein saza ki wa’eed bayan farmai, To qoam ke kaafir sardaaron ne kaha: { اِنَّا لَنَرٰكَ فِيْ سَفَاهَةٍ } “Bila shubah tum humein ahmaq nazar aate ho.” (Al-Aaraf: 7/66)

Ya’ani ap humein jis aqeede ki da’awat de rahe hein, Woh to himaqat par mabni hai jab keh hum un buton ki ibaadat karte hein jin se madad aur rizq ki umeed ki jati hai aur yeh durust raasta hai. Ilawa azeen hamara yeh khayal hai keh ap jo kehte hein keh ap ko Allah ne bheja hai, Ap ka yeh da’awa jhoota hai to Hood علیہ السلام ne farmaya:

 

{ قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِيْ سَفَاهَةٌ وَّلٰكِنِّيْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ 67؀ }

 

“Bhaiyo! Mujh mein hamaaqat ki koi bat nahin balkeh mein Rab-ul-Aalameen ka paighembar hoon.” (Al-Aaraf: 7/67)

 

Ya’ani haqiqat mein woh nahin jo tum gumaan karte ho ya aqeeda rakhte ho balkeh:

 

{ اُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسٰلٰتِ رَبِّيْ وَاَنَا لَكُمْ نَاصِحٌ اَمِيْنٌ 68؀ }

 

“Mein tumhein Allah ke paigham pohanchaata hoon aur tumhara amaanatdaar khair khawah hoon.” (Al-Aaraf: 7/68)

 

“Pohanchaata hoon” se yeh zahir hota hai keh asal paigham mein jhoot nahin bola geya, Na is mein kami beshi ki gai hai. Aur is lafaz mein yeh mafhoom bhi hai keh paigham mukhtasar, Faseeh aur jaami mane’e ibaarat ke zri’aye se pohanchaya gaya hai, Jis mein koi ghumooz, Ikhtilaf aur tanaquz nahin.

Is andaz se Allah ka paigham pohanchane ke sath sath Ap apni qoam ke intihai khair khawah aur shafeeq thay, Ap ki khawahish thi keh qoam ko hidayat naseeb ho jaye. Isi liye woh un se kisi ujrat ya moawze ka mutalaba nahin karte thay, Balkeh khalistan Allah ki raza ke liye aur makhlooq ki khair khawahi ke jazbe se unhein Allah ki taraf bulate thay. Unhein agar Ajar-o-Sawab ki tamanna thi to siraf Us Zaat se js ne unhein Mansab-e-Risaalat par faaiz kiya tha. Is liye unhon ne farmaya:

 

{ يٰقَوْمِ لَآ اَسْـــَٔـلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ اَجْرًا  ۭ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلَي الَّذِيْ فَطَرَنِيْ  ۭ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ   51 ؀ }

 

” Meri qoam! Mein is (Wa’az-o-Naseehat) ka tum se kuch sila nahin mangta. Mera sila to us ke zimme hai jis ne mujhe paida kiya. Bhala tum samjhate kiyoun nahin?” (Hood: 11/51)

 

Ya’ani kaya tumhare pas aqal nahin jis se tum yeh bat samajh sako keh mein tumhein wazih haq ki taraf bula raha hoon, Jis ki gawahi tumhari firat bhi deti hai. Yeh wahi sacha deen hai, Jise Allah ne Nooh علیہ السلام ko de kar mab’oos farmaya tha aur aakhir kar un ke mukhalifeen ko tabah kar diya tha. Balkeh mein Usi Allah se Ajar-o-Sawab ka taalib hoon jo har qisam ke nafa’a aur nuqsan ka maalik hai. Soorah-e-Yaseen mein jis Marad-e-Momin ka zikar hai, Us ne bhi yahi kaha tha:

 

) اتَّبِعُوْا مَنْ لَّا يَسْـَٔــلُكُمْ اَجْرًا وَّهُمْ مُّهْتَدُوْنَ   21؀ وَمَالِيَ لَآ اَعْبُدُ الَّذِيْ فَطَرَنِيْ وَاِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ   22؀ (
 

“Aise logon ke piche chalo jo tum se sila nahin mangte aur woh seedhe raaste par hein. Aur mujhe kaya hai keh mein us ki prastish na karoon jis ne mujhe paida kiya aur usi ki taraf tum ko loat kar jana hai.” (Yaseen: 36/21-22)

 

Hood علیہ السلام Se Sardaraan-e-Qoam Ka Rawayya:

 

Ap ki qoam ne na siraf ap ki nubuwwat ka inkar kiya balkeh Yoam-e-Aakhirat ko bhi jhoot tasawwur karte thay. Allah Taala ne un ke batil qiyasaat ko youn bayan farmaya hai:

 

وَقَالَ الْمَلَاُ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِلِقَاۗءِ الْاٰخِرَةِ وَاَتْرَفْنٰهُمْ فِي الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا  ۙ مَا ھٰذَآ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ  ۙ يَاْكُلُ مِمَّا تَاْكُلُوْنَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُوْنَ 33؀۽ وَلَىِٕنْ اَطَعْتُمْ بَشَرًا مِّثْلَكُمْ ۙ اِنَّكُمْ اِذًا لَّخٰسِرُوْنَ 34؀ۙ اَيَعِدُكُمْ اَنَّكُمْ اِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنْتُمْ تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا اَنَّكُمْ مُّخْــرَجُوْنَ 35؀۽

 

“Un ki qoam ke sardaar jo kaafir thay aur aakhirat ke aane ko jhoot samajhte thay aur duniya ki zindagi mein hum ne un ko aasoodagi de rakhi thi, Kehne lage keh yeh to tumhare jaisa aadami hai. Jis qisam ka khana tum khate ho usi tarah ka yeh bhi khata hai aur jo pani tum peete ho, Usi qisam ka yeh bhi peeta hai aur agar tum ne apne hi jaise aadami ka kaha maan liya to ghatte mein pad jao gay. Kaya yeh tum se yeh kehta hai keh jab tum mar jao gay aur matti ho jao gay aur istikhwan (ya’ani haddiyon ke siwa kuch nahin rahe ga) to tum (zameen se) nikaale jaao gay.” (Al-Mominoon: 23/33-35)

 

Woh log is baat ko ba’eed az qiyaas aur Khilaf-e-Aqal tasawwur karte thay keh Allah Taala kisi insan ko rasool bana kar mab’oos kar sakta hai. Qadeem-o-Jadeed daur ke aksar jahil kuffaar yahi shubah paish karte rahe hein, Jaise Irshad-e-Bari T’aala hai:

 

اَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا اَنْ اَوْحَيْنَآ اِلٰى رَجُلٍ مِّنْھُمْ اَنْ اَنْذِرِ النَّاسَ

 

“Kaya logon ko ta’ajub huwa keh hum ne unhi mein se aik marad ko hukam bheja keh logon ko dar suna do.” (Younas: 10/2)

 

Aur isi ki baabat mazeed farmaya:

 

وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْٓا اِذْ جَاۗءَهُمُ الْهُدٰٓى اِلَّآ اَنْ قَالُوْٓا اَبَعَثَ اللّٰهُ بَشَرًا رَّسُوْلًا  94؀ قُلْ لَّوْ كَانَ فِي الْاَرْضِ مَلٰۗىِٕكَةٌ يَّمْشُوْنَ مُطْمَىِٕنِّيْنَ لَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنَ السَّمَاۗءِ مَلَكًا رَّسُوْلًا  95؀

 

“Aur jab logon ke pas hidayat aa gai to un ki iman laane se is ke seiwa koi cheez mane’e na hui keh kehne lage keh kaya Allah ne aadami ko paighembar bana kar bheja hai. Keh do keh agar zameen mein farishte hote (keh is mein) chalte Phirte (aur) aaram karte (ya’ani baste) to hum un ke pas farishte ko paighembar bana kar bhejte.” (Bani Israa’eel: 17/94-95)

 

Allah T’aala ne Sardaraan-e-Qoam ki bat naqal karte huay farmaya:

 

اَيَعِدُكُمْ اَنَّكُمْ اِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنْتُمْ تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا اَنَّكُمْ مُّخْــرَجُوْنَ 35؀۽ هَيْهَاتَ هَيْهَاتَ لِمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ 36؀۽ اِنْ هِىَ اِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوْتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوْثِيْنَ 37؀۽ اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا رَجُلُۨ افْتَرٰى عَلَي اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا وَّمَا نَحْنُ لَهٗ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ 38؀ اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا رَجُلُۨ افْتَرٰى عَلَي اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا وَّمَا نَحْنُ لَهٗ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ 38؀

 

“Kaya woh tum se yeh kahta hai keh tum mar jao gay aur matti ho jao gay aur haddiyon ke siwa kuch nahin rahe ga to tum ( zameen se) nikaale jao gay. Jis bat ka tum se wa’ada kiya jata hai (bahut) ba’eed hai. Zindagi to yahi hamari duniya ki zindagi hai keh is mein hum marte aur jeete hein aur hum dobara nahin uthaaye jayen gay. Yeh to aik aisa aadami hai jis ne Allah par jhoot iftara kiya hai aur hum is ko maanne wale nahin. Paighembar ne kaha aye Parwardigaar! Inhon ne mujhe jhoota samjha hai, Tu meri madad kar.” (Al-Mominoon: 23/35-39)

 

Woh qayamat ko aqal ke khilaf samajhte thay aur jisam ke matti aur haddiyon ki soorat mein tabdeel ho jane ke ba’ad dobara zinda ho jane ko tasleem nahin karte thay, Woh kehte thay:

 

اِنْ هِىَ اِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوْتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوْثِيْنَ

 

“Zindagi to yahi hamari duniya ki zindagi hai keh is mein hum marte aur jeete hein aur phir nahin uthaye jayen gay.”

 

Ya’ani baa’az log mar jate hein aur doosare paida ho jate hein. Marne wale zinda nahin ho sakte. Dehriya aur ba’az jahil zindeeqon ka yahi aqeeda hai.

Tanaasukh ka aqeeda rakhne wale kehte hein keh marne wale chattees hazar (36000) saal ba’ad dobara isi duniya mein aa jate hein. Yeh sari batein jhoot, Kufar, Jahaalat aur gumrahi par mushtamil hein. Yeh ghalat aqwaal aur fasid khayalaat hein jin ki koi daleel nahin. Is se insanon mein se unhi badkaar kaafiron ki aqal mutaasir hoti hai jo Faham-o-Hidaayat se mahroom hein. Jaise Allah Ta’ala ne farmaya:

 

اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا رَجُلُۨ افْتَرٰى عَلَي اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا وَّمَا نَحْنُ لَهٗ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ 38؀

 

“Aur (woh aise kam) is liye bhi (karte thay) keh jo log aakhirat par iman nahin rakhte un ke dil in ki baton par maail hon aur woh unhein pasand karein aur jo kam woh karte thay wahi karne lagein.” (Al-Anaam: 6/113)

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne qoam ko Ilam-e-Rabbani ki roshani mein hidayat farmai jabkeh woh apni bat par datte rahe keh hum dobara zinda nahin kiye jayen gay.

 

Irshad-e-Bari Ta’ala hai:

 

اَتَبْنُوْنَ بِكُلِّ رِيْعٍ اٰيَةً تَعْبَثُوْنَ   ١٢٨؀ۙ وَتَتَّخِذُوْنَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُوْنَ   ١٢٩؀ۚ

 

“Bhala tum jo har uonchi jagah par nishan ta’ameer karte aur mahal banate ho, Shayad tum hamesha raho gay?” (Al-Sho’ara: 26/128-129)

 

Ya’ani unhein naseehat karte huay farmaya keh tum har buland muqam par badi badi azeem imaartein, Mahallat waghera ta’ameer karte ho jin se mahaz dil khush karna maqsood hota hai aur tumhein un ki zaroorat nahin hoti. Yeh bat is liye farmai gai hai keh woh log khaimon mein rehte thay. Jaise keh irshad hai:

 

اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ   Č۝۽ اِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِ   Ċ۝۽ الَّتِيْ لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي الْبِلَادِ   Ď۝۽

 

“Kaya ap ne dekha nahin keh ap ke Parwardigaar ne Aad ke sath kaya kiya? Satoonon wale Irum ke sath jis ki manind (koi qoam) mulkon mein paida nahin ki gai.” (Al-Fajar: 89/6-8)

 

Aad-e-Irum se Aad-e-Uola hi murad hai. Wahi log satoonon par khade huay khaimon mein riha’ish rakhte thay. Yeh kehna ghalat aur bila daleel hai keh “Irum” sone chandi ka bana huwa aik shehar hai, Jo aik jaga se doosari jaga muntaqil hota rehta hai.

 

{ وَتَتَّخِذُوْنَ مَصَانِعَ } ka matlab ba’az ulma’a ne “mahal” bayan kiya hai. Ba’az ne farmaya, “Is se murad hammaam hein.” ba’az ne farmaya: “Yeh pani lene ki jaghein thien.” { لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُوْنَ   ۚ }Ka matlab yeh hai keh tum duniya mein taweel arsa tak zinda rehne ki umeed par yeh sab kuch banaate ho. Allah Ta’ala ne Hood علیہ السلام ki naseehat ka tazkarah karte huay farmaya:

 

وَاِذَا بَطَشْتُمْ بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِيْنَ   ١٣٠؀ۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ   ١٣١؀ۚ وَاتَّــقُوا الَّذِيْٓ اَمَدَّكُمْ بِمَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ   ١٣٢؁ۚ اَمَدَّكُمْ بِاَنْعَامٍ وَّبَنِيْنَ   ١٣٣؀ڌ وَجَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍ   ١٣٤؀ۚ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ   ١٣٥؀ۭ

 

“Aur jab tum (kisi ko) pakadte ho to zaalimana pakadte ho. So Allah se daro aur meri ita’at karo. Aur us se daro jis ne tum ko in cheezon se madad di jin ko tum jante ho aur us ne tumhein janwaron aur beton se madad di aur baghon aur chashmon se. Mujh ko tumhare bare mein bade (sakhat) din ke azaab ka khoaf hai.” (Al-Sho’ara’a: 26/130-135)

 

Un logon ne jawab mein kaha:

 

سَوَاۗءٌ عَلَيْنَآ اَوَعَــظْتَ اَمْ لَمْ تَكُنْ مِّنَ الْوٰعِظِيْنَ   ١٣٦؀ۙ اِنْ ھٰذَآ اِلَّا خُلُقُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ  ١٣٧؀ۙ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِيْنَ   ١٣٨؀ۚ

 

“Khawah naseehat karo ya na karo hamare liye yaksan hai. Yeh to agle logon hi ke tareeq hein aur hum par koi azaab nahin aaye ga.” (Al-Sho’ara’a: 26/136-138)

 

Lafaz khlaq [خُلُقُ] [kha’a] ki zabar se [خَلقُ] bhi padha geya hai aur paish se [khuluq] bhi. Zabar ki soorat mein is ka yeh matlab ho ga keh yeh pehle logon ki ghadi hui batein hein. Ya’ani Ap jo batein sunate hein, Yeh khud Ap ne banaai hui hein jinhein Ap ne guzishta zamanae ki kitabon se akhaz kiya hai. Muta’adid Sahabah رضی اللہ عنہم aur Tabi’een رضی اللہ عنہم ne is lafaz ka yahi matlab bayan kiya hai. [Kha’a] aur [Laam] ki paish ke sath [خُلُقُ] se murad deen hai. Ya’ani hum log jis deen par hein, Yeh hamare Aaba-o-Ajdaad aur bazuragon ka deen hai, Hum isay tarak nahin karein gay balkeh isi par mazbooti se qaaim rahein gay. وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِيْنَ   ۚ‏ Ka jumla donon qira’aton se munasibat rakhta hai.

 

Qoam ne Hood علیہ السلام se yeh bhi kaha:

 

قَالُوْٓا اَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللّٰهَ وَحْدَهٗ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ اٰبَاۗؤُنَا  ۚ فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ   70؀
 

“Kaya tum hamare pas is liye aaye ho keh hum akele Allah hi ki baadat karein aur jin ko hamare bap dada poojte chale aaye hein un ko chod dein? Tum agar sache ho to jis cheez se humein darate ho usay hum par le aao.” (Al-Aaraf: 7/70)

 

Ya’ani kaya Ap is liye aaye hein keh hum aik hi Allah ki ibaadat karein aur apne Aaba-o-Ajdaad ki mukhalifat karein aur un ka rasta chod dein. Agar Ap apne wa’ade mein sache hein to woh azaab le aayein jis se humein darate rehte hein. Hum Ap par iman nahin layen gay. Ap ki pairwi nahin karein gay, Ap ko sacha nahin manein gay.

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne har mumkin koshish ki lekin woh thay keh samajhne ka nam hi na lete thay, Bil-aakhir unhon ne kaha:

 

قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌ وَّغَضَبٌ  ۭ اَتُجَادِلُوْنَنِيْ فِيْٓ اَسْمَاۗءٍ سَمَّيْتُمُوْهَآ اَنْتُمْ وَاٰبَاۗؤُكُمْ مَّا نَزَّلَ اللّٰهُ بِهَا مِنْ سُلْطٰنٍ ۭ فَانْتَظِرُوْٓا اِنِّىْ مَعَكُمْ مِّنَ الْمُنْتَظِرِيْنَ 71؀

 

“Tumhare Parwardigaar ki taraf se tum par azasb aur ghazab (ka nazil hona) muqarrar ho chuka hai. Kaya tum mujh se aise namon ke bare mein jaghadte ho jo tum ne aur tumhare bap dada ne (apni taraf se) rakh liye hein jin ki Allah ne koi sanad nazil nahin ki. To tum bhi intizaar karo, Mein bhi tumhare sath intizaar karte hoon.” (Al-Aaraf: 7/71)

 

Ya’ani yeh bat keh kar tum Allah ke azaab aur ghazab ke mustahiq ho gay ho. Kaya tum Allah Wahdahu La Shareek ki ibaadat ka mawaazna apne taraashe huaye button ki pooja se karte ho? Halankeh unhein khud tumne ma’abood qaraar diya hai. Yeh tumhara aur tumhare bap dada ka faisla hai, Jis ki ta’eed mein Allah Ta’ala ne koi daleel nazil nahin farmai. Ab jab tum ne haq ko qabool karne se inkar kar diya hai aur batil par israar kar rahe ho to mera tumhein in A’amaal-e-Bad se mana’a karna aur mana’a na karna baraabar hai. Is liye ab Allah ke us azaab ka intizaar karo jo tum par nazil hone wala hai aur jise roka nahin ja sakta.

 

Hood علیہ السلام ki qoam ne yeh bhi kaha:

 

قَالُوْا يٰهُوْدُ مَا جِئْتَنَا بِبَيِّنَةٍ وَّمَا نَحْنُ بِتَارِكِيْٓ اٰلِهَتِنَا عَنْ قَوْلِكَ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ      53؀ اِنْ نَّقُوْلُ اِلَّا اعْتَرٰىكَ بَعْضُ اٰلِهَتِنَا بِسُوْۗءٍ  ۭ قَالَ اِنِّىْٓ اُشْهِدُ اللّٰهَ وَاشْهَدُوْٓا اَنِّىْ بَرِيْۗءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُوْنَ     54؀ۙ

 

“Aye Hood! Tum hamare pas koi Daleel-e-Zahir le kar nahin aaye aur hum (siraf) tumhare kehne se na apne ma’aboodon ko chodne wale hein na tum par iman lane wale hein. Hum to yeh samajhte hein keh hamare kisi ma’abood ne tumhein aasaib pohancha (kar deewana kar) diya hai.” (Hood: 11/53-54)

 

Ya’ani Ap ne koi Kharaq-e-Aadat mo’ajza nahin dikhaya jo Ap ke paigham ke sacha hone ki daleel ban sake. Ap ke be- daleel qoal ki buniyad par to hum apne button ki ibaadat tarak nahin kar sakte. Humein to mehsoos hota hai keh Ap pagal ho gay hein aur hamare khayal mein is ki wajah siraf yeh hai keh hamare kisi ma’abood ka ghazab Ap par nazil huwa hai, Us ne Ap ki aqal ko mutassir kar ke junoon mein mubtala kar diya hai.

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام Ka Button Se Ailan-E-Bara’at

 

Jab qoam ne Da’awat-e-Tuheed ko tasleem na kiya balkeh apne button ke bare mein apne ai’atqaad ka zabardast izhaar kiya to Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne unke Ma’aboodan-e-Batila se bezari aur bara’at ka ailan karte huay farmaya:

 

اِنْ نَّقُوْلُ اِلَّا اعْتَرٰىكَ بَعْضُ اٰلِهَتِنَا بِسُوْۗءٍ  ۭ قَالَ اِنِّىْٓ اُشْهِدُ اللّٰهَ وَاشْهَدُوْٓا اَنِّىْ بَرِيْۗءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُوْنَ     54؀ۙ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ فَكِيْدُوْنِيْ جَمِيْعًا ثُمَّ لَا تُنْظِرُوْنِ       55؀

 

“Mein Allah ko gawah banata hoon aur tum bhi gawah raho keh jin ko tum (Allah) ka shareek thehrate ho mein un se baizar hoon. (Tum Jin ki) Allah ke siwa (ibaadat karte ho woh aur) tum sab mil kar mere bare mein (jo) tadbeer (karni chaho) kar lo aur mujhe mohlat na do.” (Hood: 11/54-55)

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne in alfaaz ke sath challenge kar diya, Un ke ma’aboodon se lata’aluqi ka izhar farmaya, Un ki tahqeer farmai aur wazih farmaya keh yeh but koi faida ya nuqsan nahin pohancha sakte. Yeh to bejan jamadaat hein, Jo hukam doosre jamadaat ka hai, Wahi hukam in buton ka hai. Jitni taqat doosre pathron mein hai utni hi in mein hai. Agar tumhara yeh khayal durusat hai keh yeh kisi ki madad kar sakte hein ya nafa’a de sakte hein to mein ailan karta hoon keh mein in se la ta’aluq hoon, La’anat bhejta hoon, Tum apne tamaam wasaail aur poori taqat se jo kuch kar sakte ho, Us ka program taye kar ke dalo, Mujhe aik ghadi ki bhi mohlat na do, Mujhe tumhara koi khoaf aur parwah nahin. Mazeed farmaya:

 

اِنِّىْ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَي اللّٰهِ رَبِّيْ وَرَبِّكُمْ ۭ مَا مِنْ دَاۗبَّةٍ اِلَّا هُوَ اٰخِذٌۢ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا  ۭ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ عَلٰي صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ   56؀

 

“Mein Allah par jo mera aur tumhara (sab ka) Parwardigaar hai, Bharosa rakhta hoon. (Zameen par) jo bhi chalne phirne wala hai woh (Allah Ta’ala) us ko choti se pakde huay hai. Beshak mera Parwardigaar seedhe raaste par hai.” (Hood: 11/56)

 

Ya’ani mera aitmad Allah par hai jo koi us ki panah mein aaye aur us ka sahara talab kare, Us ka koi kuch nahin bigad sakta.

 

Hood علیہ السلام ka yeh challenge na Qabil-e-Tardeed saboot hai keh Ap Allah ke bande aur rasool thay aur mukhlifeen jahaalat aur gumraahi ki wajah se ghairullah ki ibaadat mein mashghool thay. Kiyoun keh woh log Hood علیہ السلام ka paigham sacha tha aur un logon ka aqeeda batil aur ghalat tha. Is se pehle Nooh علیہ السلام ne bhi yehi daleel paish ki thi. Farmaya:

 

يٰقَوْمِ اِنْ كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُمْ مَّقَامِيْ وَتَذْكِيْرِيْ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ فَعَلَي اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَاَجْمِعُوْٓا اَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَاۗءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ اَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُوْٓا اِلَيَّ وَلَا تُنْظِرُوْنِ  71؀

 

“Aye meri qoam! Agar tum ko mera tum mein rehna aur Allah ki aayaton se naseehat karna na’gawaar ho to mein Allah par bharosa rakhta hoon. Tum apney shareekon ke sath mil kar aik kam (jo mere bare mein karna chaho) muqarrar kar lo aur woh tumhari tamam jama’at (ko ma’aloom ho jaye aur kisi) se posheeda na rahe. Phir woh kam mere haq mein kar guzro aur mujhe mohlat na do.” (Youas: 10/71)

 

Hazrat Ibrahim khaleel-ullah ne bhi yahi bat farmai thi:

 

وَلَآ اَخَافُ مَا تُشْرِكُوْنَ بِهٖٓ اِلَّآ اَنْ يَّشَاۗءَ رَبِّيْ شَـيْــــًٔـا  ۭوَسِعَ رَبِّيْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا  ۭ اَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُوْنَ   80؀ وَكَيْفَ اَخَافُ مَآ اَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلَا تَخَافُوْنَ اَنَّكُمْ اَشْرَكْتُمْ بِاللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهٖ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطٰنًا  ۭ فَاَيُّ الْفَرِيْقَيْنِ اَحَقُّ بِالْاَمْنِ ۚ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ   81؀ۘ اَلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوْٓا اِيْمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ اُولٰۗىِٕكَ لَهُمُ الْاَمْنُ وَهُمْ مُّهْتَدُوْنَ   82؀ۧ اَلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوْٓا اِيْمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ اُولٰۗىِٕكَ لَهُمُ الْاَمْنُ وَهُمْ مُّهْتَدُوْنَ   82؀ۧ

 

“Aur jin cheezon ko tum us ka shareek banaate ho mein un se nahin darta. Illa yeh keh mera Parwardigaar hi koi amar chahe. Mera Parwardigaar apne ilam se har cheez ka ihata kiye huaye hai. Kaya tum khayal nahin karte? Bhala mein un cheezon se jin ko tum (Allah ka shareek) banaate ho kiyoun kar daroon jabkeh tum us se nahin darte keh Allah ke sath shareek banaate ho jis ki us ne koi sanad nazil nahin ki. Ab donon fareeqon mein se kon sa fareeq aman (aur jami’at) khatir hai aur wahi hidaayat pane wale hein. Aur yeh hamari daleel thi jo hum ne Ibrahim ko un ki qoam ke muqabile mein ata ki thi. Hum jis ke chahte hein darje buland kar dete hein. Beshak tumhara Parwardigaar dana hai aur khoob janta hai.” (Al-An’aam: 6/80-83)

 

Hazra Hood علیہ السلام Ki Faryaad Aur Noi’yat-E-Azaab

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne qoam ke khilaf Allah Ta’ala se madad ki darkhwasat kar di kiyoun’keh qoam ne Ap ki har naseehat ko maanane se inkaar kar diya tha aur Ap ko jhuttla diya tha. Chunanchah Ap ne Allah Ta’ala se faryad ki:

 

قَالَ رَبِّ انْصُرْنِيْ بِمَا كَذَّبُوْنِ 39؀ قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِيْلٍ لَّيُصْبِحُنَّ نٰدِمِيْنَ 40؀ۚ فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنٰهُمْ غُثَاۗءً  ۚ فَبُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ 41؀

 

“Aye Parwardigaar! Inhon ne muhe jhoota samjha hai tu meri madad kar. (Allah Ta’ala ne) farmaya keh woh thode hi arse mein pasheman ho kar reh jayen gay. So un ko Wa’ada-e-Barhaq ke mutabiq zor ki aawaz ne aan pakda to hum ne un ko koda kar dala, pus zalim logon par la’anat hai.” (Al-Mominoon: 23/39-41)

 

Allah Ta’ala ne un ki baabat mazeed farmaya:

 

قَالُوْٓا اَجِئْتَـنَا لِتَاْفِكَنَا عَنْ اٰلِهَتِنَا ۚ فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ  22؀ قَالَ اِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ڮ وَاُبَلِّغُكُمْ مَّآ اُرْسِلْتُ بِهٖ وَلٰكِنِّىْٓ اَرٰىكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْـهَلُوْنَ  23؀ فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ اَوْدِيَــتِهِمْ ۙ قَالُوْا ھٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا ۭ بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْـتَعْــجَلْتُمْ بِهٖ ۭرِيْحٌ فِيْهَا عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ  24؀ۙ تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍۢ بِاَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَاَصْبَحُوْا لَا يُرٰٓى اِلَّا مَسٰكِنُهُمْ ۭ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ  25؀

 

“Kehne lage kaya tum hamare pas is liye aaye ho keh hamare ma’aboodon se phair do. Agar sache ho to jis cheez se humein daraate ho usay hum par le aao. (unhon ne) kaha keh (is ka) ilam to Allah hi ko hai aur mein to jo (ahkaam) de kar bheja geya hoon, Woh tumhein pohancha raha hoon. Lekin mein dekhta hoon keh tum log nadani mein phans rahe ho. Phir jab unhon ne is (azab) ko dekha keh badal (ki soorat mein) un ki wadiyon ki taraf aa raha hai to kehne lage: Yeh to badal hai jo hum par baras kar rahe ga (nahin) balkeh (yeh) woh (azaab) hai jis ke liye tum jaldi karte thay ya’ani aandhi hai jis mein darad nak azaab bhara huwa hai jo har cheez ko apne Parwardigaar ke hukam se tabah kiye deti hai. Phir woh aise ho gaye keh un ke gharon ke siwa kuch nazar hi na aata tha. Gunah gaar logon ko hum isi tarah saza diya karte hein.” (Al-Ahkaaf: 46/22-25)

 

Allah Ta’ala ne mukhtalif maqamaat par un ki tabahi ka zikar farmaya hai, Kahin mukhtasar tor par aur kahin tafseel se. Irshad-e-Bari Ta’ala hai:

 

فَاَنْجَيْنٰهُ وَالَّذِيْنَ مَعَهٗ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَمَا كَانُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ 72؀ۧ

 

“Phir hm ne Hood ko aur jo log un ke sath thay, Un ko nijaat bakhshi aur jinhon ne hamari aayaton ko jhuttlaya tha un ki jad kaatt di aur woh iman lane wale thay hi nahin.” (Al-Araaf: 7/27).

 

Doosari jagah irshad farmaya:

 

وَلَمَّا جَاۗءَ اَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا هُوْدًا وَّالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَعَهٗ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا  ۚ وَنَجَّيْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيْظٍ  58؀ وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ ڐ جَحَدُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا رُسُلَهٗ وَاتَّبَعُوْٓا اَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيْدٍ    59؀ وَاُتْبِعُوْا فِيْ هٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً وَّيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ  ۭ اَلَآ اِنَّ عَادًا كَفَرُوْا رَبَّهُمْ ۭ اَلَا بُعْدًا لِّعَادٍ قَوْمِ هُوْدٍ    60 ؀ۧ

 

“Aur jab hamara hukam (azaab) aa pohancha to hum ne Hood ko aur jo log un ke sath iman laye thay un ko apni meharbani se bacha liya aur unhein Azaab-e-Shadeed se nijaat di. Yeh wahi Aad hein jinhon ne Allah ki nishaniyon se inkar kiya aur us ke Paighembaron ki na’farmani ki aur har Mutakabbir-o-Sarkash ka kaha mana to is duniya mein bhi la’anat un ke piche lagi rahi aur qayamat ke din bhi (lagi rahe gi). Dekho Aad ne apne Parwardigaar se kufar kiya (aur) sun rakho Hood ki qoam Aad par phittkar hai.” (Hood: 11/58-60)

 

Mazeed farmaya:

 

فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ ۭ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً  ۭ وَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ   ١٣٩؁ وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ   ١٤٠؀ۧ

 

” So unhon ne Hood ko jhuttlaya to Hum ne un ko halak kar dala. Beshak is mein nishani hai aur un mein aksar iman lane wale nahin thay aur tumhara Parwardigaar to ghalib (aur) meharbaan hai.” (Al-Shuara’a: 26/139-140)

 

Tafseeli bayan ki misal Soorah-e-Ahkaf ke hawale se guzar chuki hai. Us mein azaab ki ibtida ka zikar hai keh shuru mein un se barish rok li gai thi aur woh qehat mein mubtala ho gay thay. Unhon ne barish ki dua ki. Us ke ba’ad unhein aasman mein baadal nazar aaya to unhon ne usay rahmat ki barish samjha halankeh woh azaab wala badal tha: بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْـتَعْــجَلْتُمْ بِهٖ  (Al-Ahqaaf: 46/24) “Yeh wahi hai jis ke jaldi aane ka tum mutalaba karte thay.” Ya’ani azaab hai. Is mein un logon ke us qoal ki taraf ishara hai: فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ (Al-Ahqaaf: 46/22) “Agar tu sacha hai to woh azaab le aa jis ka hum se wa’ada karta hai.”

 

To Allah Ta’ala ne Quraan Majeed mein is ki wazaahat is tarah ki:

 

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَّثَمٰنِيَةَ اَيَّامٍ ۙ حُسُوْمًا

 

“Allah ne us ko saat raat aur aatth din laga’taar un par chalaye rakha.” (Al-Haqqah: 69/7)

 

Ya’ani poori muddat yeh aandhi musalsal chalti rahi. Aik qoal ke mutabiq is azaab ki ibtida Jumma ke din hui thi aur aik qoal ke mutabiq budh ke din. Irshad-e-Rabbani hai:

 

فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيْهَا صَرْعٰى ۙ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ

 

“So (aye Mukhatab!) Tu logon ko us mein (is tarah) gire (mare) pade dekhe, Jaise khajooron ke khokhale tane.” (Al-Haqqah: 69/7)

 

Unhein khajoor ke darakhton ke aise tanon se tashbeeh di gai hai jin ke sire alag ho chuke hon. Kiyoun keh hawa aadami ko utha kar uopar le jati thi, Phir usay sar ke bal phaink deti thi, Jis se sar pash pash ho jata aur dhad baqi reh jata. Jaise khajoor ka tana jis ka paton aur phalon wala hissa kaat diya gaya ho, Woh pada hota hai, Chunanchah farmaya:

 

اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِيْ يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ   19۝ۙ تَنْزِعُ النَّاسَ ۙ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنْقَعِرٍ 20؀

 

“Hum ne un par sakhat manhoos din mein aandhi chalaai. Woh logon (ko is tarah) ukhede dalti thi goya ukhadi hui khajooron ke tane hein.” (Al-Qamar: 54/19-20)

 

Ya’ani woh din un ke liye manhoos tha, Jis ka azaab un par hamesha rahe ga. ba’az logon ka khayal hai keh:يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ    “Musalsal nahoosat wala din” budh ka din hai. Is wajah se woh budh ko na mubarak din qaraar dete hein. Yeh tasawwur ghalat hai aur Quraan ke khilaf hai kiyoun keh doosari aayat mein irshad hai:

 

فَاَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِيْٓ اَيَّامٍ نَّحِسَاتٍ

 

” Pus hum ne un par nahoosat ke dinon mein zor ki hawa chalaai.” (Ha’meem Al-Sajdah: 41/16)

 

Yeh to ma’aloom hi hai keh woh aath musalsal ayyaam thay. Agar yeh din bazatihu manhoos hon to hafte ke sare din manhoos hone chahiyein jin mein azaab jari raha aur is ka koi qaail nahin. Asal mein { نَّحِسَاتٍ } ka matlab yeh hai keh yeh din kafiron ke liye manhoos thay. Allah Ta’ala ne farmaya:

 

وَفِيْ عَادٍ اِذْ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيْحَ الْعَقِيْمَ 41؀ۚمَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ اَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ اِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيْمِ  42؀ۭ

 

” Aur Aad (ki qoam ke haal) mein bhi (nishani hai) jab Hum ne un par na’mubarak hawa chalaai. Woh jis cheez par chalti us ko reza reza kiye bagher na chodti.” (Al-Zariyaat: 51/41,42)

 

Ya’ani jis se koi khair hasil na hui kiyoun keh aik akeli (yak tarfa) hawa se na badal uthte hein, Na darakhat baar’aawar hote hein. Is liye yeh “Banjh” kehlati hai, Ya’ani is se koi faida hasil nahin hota. Aur woh har cheez ko is tarah tooti phooti tabah haal kar deti thi keh us se kisi qisam ka faida nahin uthaya ja sakta tha.

Rasoolullah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ne farmaya: “Meri madad saba (mashriqi hawa) ke zariye se ki gai aur Aad ko daboor (maghribi hawa) ke zariye se tabah kiya geya.”( Sahih-ul-Bukhari, Bida-ul-khalaq, Baab-o-Ma Jaa Fi Qaolihi Taala وھو الذی یرسل الریاح……, Hadith: 3205, wa Sahi Muslim, Salat-ul-Istisqa’a, Baab Fi Reeh-e-Al Saba wal Daboori, Hadith: 900.)

 

Irshad-e-Bari Ta’ala hai:

 

وَاذْكُرْ اَخَا عَادٍ ۭ اِذْ اَنْذَرَ قَوْمَهٗ بِالْاَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِنْۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهٖٓ اَلَّا تَعْبُدُوْٓا اِلَّا اللّٰهَ ۭ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ  21؀

 

“Aur (qoam) Aad ke bhai (Hood) ko yad karo jab unhon ne apni qoam ko Sar’zameen-e-Ahqaaf mein hidaayat ki aur un se pehle aur pichle bhi hidaayat karne wale guzar chuke thay (jo kehte thay) Allah ke siwa kisi ki ibaadat na karo. Mujhe tumhare bare mein bade din ke azaab ka dar lagta hai.” (Al-Ahqaaf: 46/21)

 

Mazeed farmaya:

 

فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ اَوْدِيَــتِهِمْ ۙ قَالُوْا ھٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا ۭ بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْـتَعْــجَلْتُمْ بِهٖ ۭرِيْحٌ فِيْهَا عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ  24؀ۙ

 

Phir jab unhon ne us (azaab) ko dekha keh badal (ki soorat mein) un ke maidanon ki taraf aa raha hai to kehne lage keh yeh badal hai jo hum par baras kar rahe ga (nahin) balkeh (yeh) woh cheez hai jis ke liye tum jaldi karte thay ya’ani aandhi jis mein darad dene wala azaab bhara huwa hai.” (Al-Ahqaaf: 46/24)

 

Jab Qoam-e-Aad ne aasman mein jama’a hote huaye badalon ko dekha to unhein barasne wale badal samjha. Lekin yeh azaab ke badal thay. Unhein umeed thi keh is badal se rahmat hasil ho gi lekin unhein buri cheez hasil hui. Mumkin hai azaab se murad woh intihaai thandi taiz aandhi ho jo saat ratien aur aath din musalsal chalti rahi jis ki wajah se koi shakhas zinda na raha. Yeh hawa pahadon ke gharon mein bhi dakhil ho jati thi aur Phir halaak kar deti thi aur un ke mazboot makaanon aur pukhta makaanon ko mismaar kar deti thi. Unhein apni quwwat aur taqat par bada fakhar tha, Woh kehte thay keh hum se zayada taqat’war kon hai? Allah ne un par woh hawa musallat kar di jo un se zayada taqat’war thi.

Mumkin hai keh ba’ad mein yahi hawa badal aa jane ba’is bani ho jise bache khuche kafiron ne rahmat wala badal samjha ho. Lekin Allah ne usay un par azaab aur aag ka ba’is bana diya jaise muta’did hazraat ne zikar kiya hai. Is tarah aik hi qoam par mukhtalif azaab nazil huaye hon gay jis tarah Ahal-e-Madyan par mukhtalif azaab aaye thay. (Wallah A’alam)

Aakhir-ul-Zamaan Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ne apni ummat ko duniya aur aakhirat ki bhalai ke liye behtareen uswah diya hai. Guzishta umam ke waqiaat se ibrat hasil karte huaye ummat ko naseehat farmai keh woh aandhi waghera ko dekh kar manadarija zail dua padha karein. Um-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ayesha رضی اللہ عنہما se riwayat hai keh jab taiz hawa chalti to Rasool Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم farmate:

 

اللھم انی اسالک خیرھا ، و خیر ما فیھا، و خیر ما ارسلت بہ، واعوذ بک من شرھا، وشر ما فیھا و شر ما ارسلت بہ

 

“Aye Allah! Mein tujh se is ki bhalai mangta hoon aur jo kuch is mein hai aur jo kuch de kar woh bheji gai hai us ki bhalai mangta hoon. Aur mein us ke shar se teri panah mein aata hoon aur jo kuch us mein hai aur jo kuch woh de kar bheji gai hai us ke shar se panah mangta hoon.”

 

Woh farmati hein: Jab aasman par badal cha jate to Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ke chehra mubarak mutghayyar ho jata, Ap صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم kabhi bahir tashreef le jate, Aur kabhi ander tashreef late, (preshani ki haalat mein) kabhi aate kabhi jate. Jab barish nazil ho jati to Ap صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ki preshani door ho jati. Hazrat Ayesha رضی اللہ عنہما ne yeh kefiyat mahsoos kar ke dariyafat kiya to Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ne farmaya: Ayesha! Shayad yeh wahi Sooarat-e-Hal ho, Jaise Qoam-e-Aad ne kaha tha:

 

فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ اَوْدِيَــتِهِمْ ۙ قَالُوْا ھٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا

 

Jab unhon ne is (azaab) ko badal ki tarah apni wadiyon ki taraf aate dekha to bole: Yeh badal hum par barish barsaye ga.” (Sahih Muslim, Salat-ul-Istisqa’a, Baab-ul-Taawwuz Inda Rowyihi Al Reeha, Hadith, 899)

 

Maghroor Qoam Ka Anjaam:

 

Qoam-e-Aad ne haq maanane se inkaar kiya aur apni quwwat pe naz karte huaye usay jhutlaya to goya unhon ne Azaab-e-Ilahi ko da’awat khud hi de di. Allah Taala ne Soorah-e-Ha’meem Al-Sajdah mein is ka zikar youn farmaya:

 

فَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْـتَكْبَرُوْا فِي الْاَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوْا مَنْ اَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً ۭ اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ اَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۭ وَكَانُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا يَجْــحَدُوْنَ    15؀ فَاَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِيْٓ اَيَّامٍ نَّحِسَاتٍ لِّنُذِيْقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِــزْيِ فِي الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا ۭ وَلَعَذَابُ الْاٰخِرَةِ اَخْزٰى وَهُمْ لَا يُنْصَرُوْنَ    16؀

 

“Jo Aad thay woh na’haq mulak mein gharoor karne lage aur kehne lage keh hum se badh kar quwwat mein kon hai? Kaya unhon ne nahin dekha keh Allah, Jis ne unhein paida kiya hai woh un se quwwat mein bahut badh kar hai aur woh Hamari aayton ka inkar karte rahe to Hum ne bhi un par nahoosat ke dinon mein zor ki hawa chalaai takeh un ko duniya ki zindagi mein zillat ke azaab ka maza chakha dein aur aakhirat ka azaab to bahut hi zaleel karne wala hai aur (us roz) un ko madad bhi na mile gi.” (Ha’meem Al-Sajda: 41/15-16)

 

Bil’aakhir qoam ne Kufar-o-Jahaalat ka bhar poor muzahara karte huaye azaab ka mutalaba kar diya jo keh bahut jalad poora kar diya geya. Soorah-e-Ahqaaf mein Allah Ta’ala ne inhi ki baabat farmaya:

 

وَاذْكُرْ اَخَا عَادٍ ۭ اِذْ اَنْذَرَ قَوْمَهٗ بِالْاَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِنْۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهٖٓ اَلَّا تَعْبُدُوْٓا اِلَّا اللّٰهَ ۭ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ  21؀ قَالُوْٓا اَجِئْتَـنَا لِتَاْفِكَنَا عَنْ اٰلِهَتِنَا ۚ فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ  22؀ قَالَ اِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ڮ وَاُبَلِّغُكُمْ مَّآ اُرْسِلْتُ بِهٖ وَلٰكِنِّىْٓ اَرٰىكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْـهَلُوْنَ  23؀ فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ اَوْدِيَــتِهِمْ ۙ قَالُوْا ھٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا ۭ بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْـتَعْــجَلْتُمْ بِهٖ ۭرِيْحٌ فِيْهَا عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ  24؀ۙ تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍۢ بِاَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَاَصْبَحُوْا لَا يُرٰٓى اِلَّا مَسٰكِنُهُمْ ۭ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ  25؀

 

“Aur (Qoam) Aad ke bhai (Hood) ko yad karo keh jab unhon ne apni qoam ko sar Zameen-e-Ahqaaf mein hidaayat ki aur un se pehle aur piche aur bhi hidaayat karne wale guzar chuke thay (jo kehte thay) keh Allah ke siwa kisi ki ibaadat na karo. Mujhe tumhare bare mein bade din ke azaab ka dar lagta hai. Woh kehne lage: Kaya tum hamare pas is liye aaye ho keh hum ko hamare ma’aboodon se phair do. Agar sache ho to jis cheez se humein daraate ho usay hum par le aao (unhon ne) kaha keh (is ka) ilam to Allah hi ko hai aur mein to jo (ahkaam) de kar bheja gaya hoon woh tumhein pohancha raha hoon lekin mein dekhta hoon keh tum log nadaani mein phans rahe ho. Phir jab unhon ne is (azaab) ko dekha keh badal (ki soorat mein) un ki wadiyon ki taraf aa raha hai to kehne lage keh yeh to badal hai jo hum par baras kar rahe ga (nahin) balkeh (yeh) to woh cheez hai jis ke liye tum jaldi karte thay ya’ani aandhi jis mein dard dene wala azaab bhara huwa hai. Jo har cheez ko apne Parwardigaar ke hukam se tabah kiye deti hai, Phir woh aise ho gaye keh un ke gharon ke siwa kuch nazar hi na aata tha. Gunah’gaar logon ko Hum isi tarah saza diya karte hein.” (Al-Ahqaaf: 46/21-25)

 

Aur Soorah-e-Zariyaat mein Irshad-e-Bari Ta’ala hai:

 

وَفِيْ عَادٍ اِذْ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيْحَ الْعَقِيْمَ 41؀ۚ مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ اَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ اِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيْمِ  42؀ۭ

 

“Aur Aad (ki qoam ke hal) mein bhi (nishani hai) jab Hum ne un par na’mubarak hawa chalaai, Woh jis cheez par chalti usay raiza razia kiye bagher na chodti.” (Al-Zariyaat: 51/41-42)

 

Aur Soorah-e-Najam mein irshad hai:

 

وَاَنَّهٗٓ اَهْلَكَ عَادَۨا الْاُوْلٰى   50؀ۙ وَثَمُوْدَا۟ فَمَآ اَبْقٰى   51؀ۙ وَقَوْمَ نُوْحٍ مِّنْ قَبْلُ ۭ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا هُمْ اَظْلَمَ وَاَطْغٰى   52؀ۭ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ اَهْوٰى   53؀ۙ فَغَشّٰـىهَا مَا غَشّٰى   54؀ۚ فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۗءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَـمَارٰى   55؀

 

“Aur yeh keh usi ne Aad-e-Awwal ko halaak kar dala aur Samood ko bhi, Gharaz kisi ko baqi na choda aur un se pehle Qoam-e-Nooh ko bhi. Bila’shubah woh log bade hi zalim aur bade hi sarkash thay aur usi ne ulti hui bastiyon ko de patka, Phir un par chaya jo chaya to (aye insan) tu apne Parwardigaar ki kon kon si ne’amat par jhagde ga.” (Al-Najam: 53/50-55)

 

Aur Soorah-e-Qamar mein farmaya:

 

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ 18؀ اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِيْ يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ   19۝ۙ تَنْزِعُ النَّاسَ ۙ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنْقَعِرٍ 20؀ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ   21؀ وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ 22۝ۧ

 

“Aad ne bhi takzeeb ki thi so (dekh lo keh) mera azaab aur darana kesa huwa? Hum ne un par sakhat manhoos din mein aandhi chalaai. Woh logon ko (is tarah) ukhede dalti thi goya ukhadi hui khajooron ke tane hein. So (dekh lo keh) mera azaab aur drana kesa huwa? Aur Hum ne Quraan ko samjhne ke liye aasan kar diya hai to koi hai keh soche samjhe?.” (Al-Qamar: 54/18-22)

 

Aur Soorah-e-Al-Haqqah mein inhi ki baabat farmaya:

 

وَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاُهْلِكُوْا بِرِيْحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ   Č۝ۙ سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَّثَمٰنِيَةَ اَيَّامٍ ۙ حُسُوْمًا ۙ فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيْهَا صَرْعٰى ۙ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ Ċ۝ۚ فَهَلْ تَرٰى لَهُمْ مِّنْۢ بَاقِيَةٍ Ď۝

 

“Rahe Aad to un ka nihayat taiz aandhi se sattiyanaas kar diya geya. Allah ne usay sat rat aur aath din laga’taar un par chalaaye rakha’ to (aye mukhatab!) Tu logon ko is mein (is tarah) gire (aur mare) pade dekhe jaise khajooron ke khokhale tane hon. Bhala tu in mein se kisi ko bhi baqi dekhta hai?” (Al-Haqqah: 69/6-8)

 

Allah Ta’ala ne guzishta kafir umam ki tarah Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ki qoam ko jad se ukhad phenka aur unhein ba’ad walon ke liye Nishan-e-Ibrat bana diya. Aur Soorah-e-Fajar mein irshad hai:

 

اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ   Č۝۽ اِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِ   Ċ۝۽ الَّتِيْ لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي الْبِلَادِ   Ď۝۽ وَثَمُوْدَ الَّذِيْنَ جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ Ḍ؀ وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِي الْاَوْتَادِ   10۝۽ الَّذِيْنَ طَغَوْا فِي الْبِلَادِ   11۝۽ فَاَكْثَرُوْا فِيْهَا الْفَسَادَ   12۝۽ فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ  13۝ڌ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِ   14۝ۭ

 

“Kaya ap ne nahin jana keh tumhare Parwadigaar ne Aad ke sath kaya kiya? (Jo) Irum (kehlate thay. Itne) daraaz qad keh tamaam zameen mein aise paida nahin huaye thay aur Samood ke sath (kaya kiya?) jo wadi (Qura) mein pathar taraashte (aur ghr banate) thay. Aur Firaon ke sath (kaya kiya?) Jo khaime aur mekhein rakhta tha. Yeh log zameen mein sarkash ho rahe thay aur is mein bahut si kharabiyan karte thay to tumhare Parwardigaar ne un par azaab ka koda nazil kiya, Be’shak tumhara Parwardigaar taak mein hai.” (Al-Fajar: 89/6-14)

 

Qoam-e-Aad ka zikar Soorah-e-Taubah, Soorah-e-Ibraheem, Soorah-e-Furqan, Soorah-e-Ankaboot, Soorah-e-Saad aur Soorah-e-Qaaf mein bhi warid hai. Hum ne apni tafseer mein apne apne maqam par in waqiaat ke bare mein bayan kiya hai. (Wa lillah-e-al Hamad)

 

Aandhi Ka Azaab:

 

Pehle bayan ho chuka hai keh Qoam-e-Nooh ke ba’ad sab se pehle jis qoam ne but parasti shuru ki, woh Qoam-e-Aad thi. Jaise Allah Ta’ala ke is farman se wazih hai:

 

وَاذْكُرُوْٓا اِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاۗءَ مِنْۢ  بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوْحٍ وَّزَادَكُمْ فِي الْخَلْقِ بَصْۜطَةً 

 

” Aur yad karo jab us ne tum ko Qoam-e-Nooh ke ba’ad sardaar banaya aur tumhein phelao zayada ata kiya.” (Al-Araaf: 7/69)

 

Ya’ani unhein Allah Ta’ala ne apne zamane mein sab se zayada qad aawar aur taqat’war banaya tha. Soorah-e-Mominoon mein irshad hai:

 

ثُمَّ اَنْشَاْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا اٰخَرِيْنَ 31؀ۚ

 

” Phir un ke ba’ad hum ne doosri jama’at paida ki.” (Al-Mominoon: 23/31) is se murad bhi Hood علیہ السلام ki qoam hai.

 

Aur yehi qoal sahih hai. Ba’az hazraat ka khayal hai keh is aayat mein Qoam-e-Samood ki taraf ishara hai kiyoun keh is ke ba’d irshad hai:

 

فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنٰهُمْ غُثَاۗءً 

 

“To unhein Wada-e-Bar’haq ke mutabiq zor ki aawaz ne aan pakda. To hum ne un ko koda kirkat kar dala. (Al-Mominoon: 23/41)

 

Aur cheekh jaisi taiz aawaz se Salih علیہ السلام ki qoam ko tabah kiya gaya tha. Aur Qoam-e-Aad ki baabat Irshad-e-Bari Ta’ala hai:

 

وَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاُهْلِكُوْا بِرِيْحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ    ” Unhein nihayat taiz aandhi se sattiyanaas kar diya geya.” (Al-Haqqah: 69/6)

 

In hazraat ke is qoal ke bawjood yeh mumkin nahin keh is qoam par cheekh ka azaab bhi aaya ho aur aandhi ka azaab bhi, Jaise Madyan wale Ashaab-ul-Aikah thay keh un par kai qisam ka azaab ba’yak waqat nazil huwa. Phir is par bhi ittifaq hai keh Qoam-e-Aad ka zamana Samood se pehle ka hai.

Khulasa-e-kalaam yeh hai keh Aad ke log akhad mizaj, Sarkash, Kafir aur but’parast thay. Chunanchah Allah Ta’ala ne un mein se aik shakhas ko (Rasool bana kar) un mein bheja, Jis ne unhein Allah ki taraf, Us ki tuheed aur khalistan ibaadat ki taraf bulaya. Unhon ne Us ki takzeeb, Mukhalafat aur gustakhi ki to Allah Ta’ala ne unhein apni shadeed saza ki lapait mein le liya.

 

Nata’ij-O-Fawa’id……..Ibrat-O-Hikmatein

 

Qoam-E-Aad Ka Maskan:

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ki qoam ko Allah Ta’ala ne mazboot aur qawi ajsaam se nawaza tha. Sakhat aur Buland-o-Bala pahadon ko taraash kar khubsoorat mahallaat ta’ameer karne mein in ka koi sani nahin tha. In ki zameenein Sar’sabaz-o-Shadaab aur har qisam ke baghaat se aarasta thien. In ko Quraan-e-Majeed mein “Ahqaaf” wale kaha geya hai. Ahqaaf ke ma’ani rait ke uonche teele hein. Yeh Sahra-e-Arab ke Janoob Maghribi hisse ka nam hai. In ke aksar qaba’il Uman se Hazar-e-Moat aur Yaman tak phaile huaye thay. In ka maskan Yaman tha jabkeh in ki aksar aabadi Hazar-e-Moat aur Yaman mein Bahera-e-Arab ke sawahil ke aas pas thi.

 

Aaba-o-Ajdaad Ki Andhi Taqleed Ka Khofnaak Anjaam:

 

Deegar aqwaam ki tarah Hood علیہ السلام ki qoam bhi is Maraz-e-Bad ka shikar thi. Aaba-o-Ajdaad ke batil tareeqon ko chodna aur Hood علیہ السلام ki Da’awat-e-Haq ko qabool karna un ke liye mahaal tha. Un ke liye yeh tasawwur na’ Qabil-e-Qabool ho geya keh ka’inaat ko siraf aik hasti chala rahi hai jabkeh unhon ne aulad ke husool ke liye aur kheton, Barish aur karobar mein Nafa-o-Nuqsan ka maalik doosare buton ko bana rakha tha. Dushmanon par fatah ke liye alag but tha. Sehat-o-Tandrusti kisi se hasil hoti thi to Dolat-o-Imaarat kisi aur se. Is tarah unhon ne apne liye be’shumar data, Ghareeb nawaz, Ganj bakhash aur Ghuos-o-Dastgeer banaye huaye thay. Un ke bade bade mushkil kusha yeh teen thay. (1) Samood, (2) Sada’a aur (3) Al-Haba’a. Bil-aakhir in buton ki pooja aur Aaba-o-Ajdaad ki andhi taqleed un ke khofnaak anjam ka sabab bani aur yeh dastgeer un ki koi madad na kar sake. Irshad-e-Bari Ta’ala hai:

 

فَلَوْلَا نَــصَرَهُمُ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّخَذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ قُرْبَانًا اٰلِهَةً ۭ بَلْ ضَلُّوْا عَنْهُمْ ۚ وَذٰلِكَ اِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوْا يَفْتَرُوْنَ  28؀

 

“Pus Qurab-IIlahi ke husool ke liye unhon ne Allah ke siwa jin jin ko apna ma’abood bana rakha tha unhon ne un ki madad kiyoun na ki? Balkeh woh to un se kho gaye, (balkeh dar’asal) yeh un ka mahaz jhoot aur (bilkul) bohtan tha.” (Al-Ahqaaf: 46/28)

 

Baad-E-Sarsar Aur Nahoosat Ke Ayyaam:

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne button ki pujari qoam ko har tarah ke Dalaail-o-Baraheen se tuheed ki da’awat di aur unhein aik Allah Parwardigaar ki ibaadat par yaksoo karne ki koshish ki magar button ki pooja mein gharaq, Aaba-o-Ajdaad ke Rusoom-o-Rawaj ki taqleed mein andhi qoam ne tarah tarah ke dalaail dekhne sunne ke bawjood Ap ko jawab diya:

 

يٰهُوْدُ مَا جِئْتَنَا بِبَيِّنَةٍ وَّمَا نَحْنُ بِتَارِكِيْٓ اٰلِهَتِنَا عَنْ قَوْلِكَ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ      53؀ اِنْ نَّقُوْلُ اِلَّا اعْتَرٰىكَ بَعْضُ اٰلِهَتِنَا

 

“Aye Hood! Tu hamare pas koi daleel to laya nahin aur hum siraf tumhare kehne par apne ma’aboodon ko chodne wale nahin aur na hum tujh par iman lane wale hein balkeh hum to yahi kehte hein keh hamare kisi ma’abood ne tujhe aasaib laga diya hai.” (Hood: 11/53)

 

Jab Dalaail-o-Baraheen se haq wazih kar diya geya, Haqq-e-Tableegh poora ho geya, Kuffaar ka Kufar-o-Shirak aur Zulam-o-Inaad tamaam hudood phalaang gaya to sunnatu-llah poora hone ka waqat aa geya, Allah Ta’ala ne farmaya:

 

اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِيْ يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ   19۝ۙ تَنْزِعُ النَّاسَ ۙ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنْقَعِرٍ 20؀ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ   21؀

 

“Hum ne un par Tand-o-Taiz musalsal chalne wali hawa aik paiham manhoos din mein bhej di, Jo logon ko utha utha kar de patakhti thi goya keh woh jad se kate huaye khajoor ke tane thay. Pus kaisi rahi meri saza aur mera darana?” (Al-Qamar: 54/19-21)

Isi tarah Allah Ta’ala ne us sarkash, Maghroor, Bad’dimagh aur mushrik qoam ko Baad-e-Sar’sar se Tabah-o-Barbaad kar diya. Yeh yakaa’yak Tand-o-Taiz, Yakh basta aur shor machaati hui hawa thi jo un par musalsal sat ratein aur aath din chalti rahi. Yeh hawa un kafiron ko un ke mazboot qil’aon aur mahallaat se uthati aur zameen par patakh deti jis se un ke sar dhad se juda ho jate aur woh lambe tadange, Khajoor ke tanon ki tarah zameen par gir padte.

 

Talkhi Ka Jawab Narmi Se, Bad tahzeebi Ka Jawab akhlaaq Se Dena:

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ke qisse se Daa’iyaan-e-Tuheed-o-Risaalat ko yeh daras milta hai keh unhein is muqaddas faraz ki ada’igi mein hamesha naram khoo aur sheereen bayan hona chahiye. Talkhiyon ka jawab khanda paishani se dena chahiye. Behooda goi aur istihzaa ka jawab Akhlaq-o-Aadaab se dena chahiye takeh Da’awat-e-Haq munkareen ke dil mein paiwist ho jaye. Neez is mission ko be’loas ho kar ada karna chahiye jaisa keh Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne qoam ko mukhatib kar ke farmaya tha:

 

يٰقَوْمِ لَآ اَسْـــَٔـلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ اَجْرًا  ۭ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلَي الَّذِيْ فَطَرَنِيْ  ۭ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ   51 ؀

 

“Aye meri qoam! Mein tum se is ki koi ujrat nahin mangta, Mera ajar us ke zimme hai Jis ne mujhe paida kiya hai. Kaya Phir tum aqal se kaam nahin lete?” (Hood: 11/51)

 

Ap ke is Usloob-e-Khitaab se bhi daras milta hai keh jinhein Da’awat-e-Haq di jaye unhein ache ache namon se pukara jaye t keh raghbat ho, Jaisa keh Hazrat Hoid علیہ السلام ne Kafir-o-Mushrik qoam ko bhi “meri qoam” keh kar mukhatib kiya.

 

Miyana Rawi Aur ai’atdaal Ka Daras:

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ke qisse se miyana rawi aur ai’atdaal ka daras milta hai. Allah Ta’ala ne ap ki qoam ko phalon se lade baghaat, Jari chashmon aur lehlahaati khetiyon se nawaza tha. Unhein mazboot aur qawi banaya tha aur buland Qad-o-Qaamat ata kiye thay. Ba’jaye is kwh woh naiamaton ki farawaani par shukar baja late, Woh Aish-o-Ishrat aur Fakhar-o-Mubahaat mein gharaq ho gaye. Buland-o-Bala pahadon ko taraash kar aali shan mahallaat ta’ameer karna un ka mashghala ban geya. In mahallaat ki Ta’ameer-o-Aaraish par kaseer dolat aur waqat sarf karte takeh doosaron par fakhar aur bartari ka izhaar kar sakein. Woh yeh sare kam Izhar-e-Tafakkhur aur khel kood ke liye karte. In mahallaat mein rihaish rakhna un ka qat’an madsad na tha. Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne qoam ko waqat aur wasa’il ke is be ja ziya’a mana’a kiya. Unhein aisa karne se sakhti se mana’a kiya jis ka maqsad Deen-o-Duniya ke munafa’a se khali tha. Lihaza unhein is Bekar-e-Mahaz aur abas kam se rokate huaye farmaya:

 

اَتَبْنُوْنَ بِكُلِّ رِيْعٍ اٰيَةً تَعْبَثُوْنَ   ١٢٨؀ۙ وَتَتَّخِذُوْنَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُوْنَ   ١٢٩؀ۚ

 

“Kaya tum aik aik teele par ba’tor khel tamasha yadgaar (imaarat) bana rahe ho. Aur badi san’at wale mahal ta’ameer kar rahe ho goya keh tum hamesha yahin raho gay.” (Al-Sho’ara’a: 26/ 128,129)

 

Ap ki is naseehat mein mojooda daur ke umra’a ke liye bhi aik Daras-e-Ibrat mojood hai jo Wasee-o-Areez mahallaat par karodon rupe kharach kar rahe hein jabkeh in ka maqsad siraf dolatmandi ka izhaar hota hai jabkeh in ke pehloo mein lakhon insan do waqat ki roti aur sar chupane ke liye chand gaz ke ghar ke liye Dast-e-Iltija buland kiye huaye hein. Aise logon ko Sarkar-e-Do aalam صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ke is farman ko hamesha yad rakhna chahiye, Ap صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم  ne farmaya: “Israaf aur takabbur se bachte huaye (jo chaho) khao, Piyo, Pehno aur sadqa karo.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Al-Libas, Baab-o-Qaol-e-Allahi Taala قل من حرم زینتہ اللہ  Qabal Al-Hadees: 5783)

 

Jurrat-e-Imani:

 

Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ke Uswa-e-Hasna se har muslih, Har daai aur har momin ko Jurrat-e-Imani ka daras milta hai jabkeh woh amar bil-ma’aroof aur nahi anil-munkar ka fareeza ada kar raha ho. Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام ne qoam ko Da’awat-e-Tuheed di. Un ke Ma’aboodaan-e-Batila ki be-wuqa’ati aur be-hesiyati ko wazih kiya, Neez unhein Israaf-o-Tabzeer se roka to qoam kehne lagi: Hood tumhara dimagh mouf ho geya hai. Hamare bazurgon ki gustakhi karne se tumhara dimagh chal geya hai, Humein lagta hai keh tu hamare kisi dewta ke Zer-e-Itaab aa geya hai. Is par Hood علیہ السلام ne kamal Jurrat-e-Imani ka muzahara karte huaye un ke tamam dewtaon se bezari aur bara’at ka izhar kiya aur unhein un ke dewataon samet challenge de diya:

 

قَالَ اِنِّىْٓ اُشْهِدُ اللّٰهَ وَاشْهَدُوْٓا اَنِّىْ بَرِيْۗءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُوْنَ     54؀ۙ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ فَكِيْدُوْنِيْ جَمِيْعًا ثُمَّ لَا تُنْظِرُوْنِ       55؀

 

” Ap ne farmaya: Mein Allah ko gawah banata hoon aur tum bhi gawah raho keh mein Allah ke siwa in sab se bezaar hoon jinhein tum shareek bana rahe ho. Acha tum sab mil kar mere haq mein badi kar lo aur mujhe bilkul mohlat na do.” (Hood:11 /54-55)

 

Is tarah Ap ne Kuffar-o-Mushrikeen ko la-jawab kar diya. Ap ki is jurrat ka sabab bhi Quran majeed ne bayan farmaya hai takeh ta’qiyamat aane wale Daiyaan-e-Haq isi sifat ko apna kar Maidan-e-Da’awat-o-Irshad mein utrein. Ap ne farmaya tha:

 

اِنِّىْ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَي اللّٰهِ رَبِّيْ وَرَبِّكُمْ

 

“Mera bharosa siraf Allah Ta’ala par hai jo mera aur tum sab ka Parwardigaar hai.” (Hood: 11/56)

 

Lihaza jo bhi daai Allah Ta’ala par bharosa karta hai, Allah Ta’ala us ke khof ko aman aur kamzori ko Quwwat-o-Taaqat se badal deta hai.

 

Toba-o-Istaghfaar Ke Fawaid-o-Samraat:

 

Tareekh-e-Insani ke mutal’ae se yeh bat bilkul ayan hai keh jab kisi moashare mein Zulam-o-Udwaan, Sarkashi, Fitna-o-Fasaad, Qatal-o-Gharat giri, Kufar-o-Shirak aur deegar maasi phail jate hein, Shukar guzari ki ba’jaye na’shukri aam ho jati hai to Phir aise moashare aur mulak Azaab-e-Ilahi ka shikar ho jate hein. Mutakabbir-o-Jabir qoamein mitt jati hein aur Naz-o-Ne’am mein Dad-e-Aish dene wali bastiyan khatam ho jati hein. Is tarah gunah na siraf insani Jisam-o-Aqal ke liye nuqsan deh sabit hote hein balkeh ijtimaai Nizam-e-Hayat ke liye bhi mohlik sabit hote hein.

Lekin agar qoamein Toba-o-Istighfaar ke zari’aye se apne gunahon se rujoo kar lein, Apne Rabb ki shukar guzaar ban jaein to Parwardigaar-e-Aalam na siraf un ki ne’amaton mein izafa farma deta hai balkeh un qoamon ko taweel arsa tak ne’amaton se mustafeed hone ka moqa’a deta hai. Hazrat Hood علیہ السلام bhi apni qoam ko isi haqiqat se rooshanas karaate huaye farmate hein:

 

وَيٰقَوْمِ اسْتَغْفِرُوْا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوْبُوْٓا اِلَيْهِ يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاۗءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّدْرَارًا وَّيَزِدْكُمْ قُوَّةً اِلٰي قُوَّتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَوَلَّوْا مُجْرِمِيْنَ     52؀

 

“Aye meri qoam ke logo! Tum apne palne wale se apni taqseeron ki maafi talab karo aur us ki janab mein tobah karo takeh Woh barasne wale badal tum par bhej de aur tumhari quwwat par aur quwwat badha de aur tum gunehgar ho kar roo’gardani na karo.” (Hood: 11/52)

 

Tubah-o-Istighfaar, Gunahon ki maafi, Rizaq mein taraqqi aur Qurab-Ilahi ke husool ka aham zariaya hai. Tubah ki taraf wahi shakhas mutawajjah hota hai jo Allah Ta’ala se darta hai. Aur jo shakhas Allah Ta’ala se darta hai Allah Ta’ala usay har qisam ke Gham-o-Andoh se be-parwah kar deta hai. Jaisa keh Irshad-e-Bari Ta’ala hai:

 

وَمَنْ يَّتَّقِ اللّٰهَ يَجْعَلْ لَّهٗ مَخْرَجًا Ą۝ۙ وَّيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ

 

“Aur jo shakhas Allah se darta hai Allah us ke nikalne ke liye rasta bana deta hai. Aur aisi jagah se rozi deta hai jahan se usay gumaan bhi nahin hota.” (Al-Talaaq: 65/2-3)

 Prophet Hud
Description of the People of Ad

 The people of ‘Ad lived many years in the windswept hills of an area between Yemen and Oman. They were physically well built and renowned for their craftsmanship especially in the construction of tall buildings with lofty towers. They were outstanding among all the nations in power and wealth, which, unfortunately, made them arrogant and boastful. Their political power was held in the hand of unjust rulers, against whom no one dared to raise a voice.

They were not ignorant of the existence of Allah, nor did they refuse to worship Him. What they did refuse was to worship Allah alone. They worshipped other gods, also, including idols. This is one sin Allah does not forgive.

Description of Hud

Allah wanted to guide and discipline these people so He sent a prophet from among them. This prophet was Hud (PBUH), a noble man who handled this task with great resoluteness and tolerance.

 Ibn Jarir reported that he was Hud Ibn Shalikh, Ibn Arfakhshand, Ibn Sam, Ibn Noah (PBUH). He also reported that Prophet Hud (PBUH) was from a tribe called Ad Ibn Us Ibn Sam Ibn Noah, who were Arabs living in Al Ahqaf in Yemen between Oman and Hadramaut, on a land called Ashar stretching out into the sea. The name of their valley was Mughiith.

 Some traditions claimed that Hud (PBUH) was the first person who spoke Arabic while others claimed that Noah (PBUH) was the first. It was also said that Adam was the first.

Commentary – Hud’s Appeal to his People

Hud (PBUH) condemned idol worship and admonished his people. “MY people, what is the benefit of these stones that you carve with your own hands and worship? In reality it is an insult. to the intellect. There is only One Deity worthy of worship and that is Allah. Worship of Him and Him alone, is compulsory on you.

He created you, He provides for you and He is the One Who will cause you to die. He gave you wonderful physiques and blessed you in many ways. So believe in Him and do not be blind to His favors, or the same fate that destroyed Noah’s people will overtake you.”

With such reasoning Hud hoped to instill faith in them, but they refused to accept his message. His people asked him: “Do you desire to be our master with your call? What payment do you want?”Hud tried to make them understand that he would receive his payment (reward) from Allah; he did not demand anything from them except that they let the light of truth touch their minds and hearts.

Hud’s Appeal to His People – Quranic

Allah the Almighty states:

“And to Ad people We sent their brother Hud. He said: “O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (god) but Him; Certainly, you do nothing but invent flies)! O my people I ask of you no reward for it (the Message). My reward is only from Him Who created me. Will you not then understand? And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him, He will send you (from the sky) abundant rain, and add strength to your strength, so do not turn away as Mujrimeen (criminals, disbeliveers in the Oneness of Allah).”

 They said: “O Hud! No evidence have you brought us and we shall not leave our gods for your mere saying! We are not believers in you. All that we say is that some of our gods (false demes) have seized you with evil (madness).”

HE said: “I call Allah to witness and bear you witness that I am free from that which you ascribe as partners in worship, and with Him (Allah). SO plot against me, all of you, and give me no respite. I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but HE has grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the Straight Path (the truth). SO if you turn away, still I have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will make another people succeed you, and you will not harm Him in the least. Surely, my Lord is Guardian over all things. “(Ch 11:50-57 Quran)

Hud (pbuh) explains the Day of Judgement

Hud tried to speak to them and to explain about Allah’s blessings: how Allah the Almighty had made them Noah’s successors, how He had given them strength and power, and how HE sent them rain to revive the soil.

Hud’s people looked about them and found they were the strongest on earth, so they become prouder and more obstinate. Thus they argued a lot with Hud. They asked “O Hud! Do you say that later we die and turn into dust, we will be resurrected?” He replied, “Yes, you will come back on the Day of Judgment and each of you will be asked about what you did.”

A peal of laughter was heard after the last statement. “How strange Hud’s claims are!” The dis be liveers muttered among themselves. They believed that when man dies his body decays and turns into dust, which is swept away by the wind. How could that return to its original state? Then what is the significance of the Day of Judgment? Why does the dead return to life?

All these questions were patiently received by Hud. He then addressed his people concerning the Day of Judgment. He explained that belief in the Day of Judgment is essential to Allah’s justice, teaching them the same thing that every prophet taught about it.

Hud explained that justice demands that there be a Day of Judgment because good is not always victorious in life. Sometimes evil overpowers good. Will such crimes go unpunished? If we suppose there is no Day of Judgment, then a great injustice will have prevailed, but Allah has forbidden injustice to be incurred by Himself or His subjects. Therefore, the existence of the Day of Judgment, a day of accounting for our deeds and being rewarded or punished for them, reveals the extend of Allah’s justice. Hud spoke to them about all of these things. They listened but disbelieved him.

The Disbeliever’s Attitude

Allah recounts Hud’s people’s attitude towards the Day of Judgment:

“The chiefs of his people, whom disbelieved and denied the meeting in the Hereafter, and to who We had given the luxuries and comforts of this life, said: “He is no more than a human being like you, he eats of that which you eat, and drinks of what you drink. If you were to obey a human being like yourselves then verily! You indeed would be losers. Does he promise you that when you have died and have become dust and bones, you shall come out alive (resurrected)? Far, very far, is that which you are promised. There is nothing but our life of this world! We die and we live! We are not going to be resurrected! He is only a man who has invented a lie against Allah, but we are not going to believe in him.”(Ch 23:33-38 Quran)

The Disbelievers Question Hud

The chiefs of Hud’s people asked: “Is it not strange that Allah’s chooses one of us to reveal His message to?”

Hud replied: “What is strange in that? Allah wants to guide you to the right way of life, so HE sent me to warn you. Noah’s flood and his story are not far away from you, so do not forget what happened. All the disbeliveers were destroyed, no matter how strong they were.”

 “Who is going to destroy us Hud?” the chiefs asked.

“Allah.” replied Hud.

The disbeliveers among his people answered: “We will be saved by our gods.”

Hud clarified to them that the gods they worshipped would be the reason for their destruction, that it is Allah alone who saves people, and that no other power on earth can benefit or harm anyone.

The conflict between Hud and his people continued. The years passed, and they became prouder and more obstinate, and more tyrannical and more defiant of their prophet’s message.

Hud Warns his People

Furthermore, they started to accuse Hud (PBUH) of being a crazy lunatic. One day they told him: “We now understand the secret of your madness you insulted our gods and they harmed you; that is why you have become insane.”

Almighty Allah repeated their words in the Quran:

“O my Hud! No evidence have you brought us, and we shall not leave our gods for your mere saying! And we are not believers in you. All that we say is that some of our gods (false deities) have seized you with evil (madness).” (Ch 11:53-54 Quran)

Hud had to return their challenge. He had no other way but to turn to Allah alone, no other alternative but to give them a threatening ultimatum, he declared to them: “I call Allah to witness and bear you witness that I am free from that which you ascribe as pin worship with Him (Allah). SO plot against me, all of you and give me no respite. I put my trust in Allah, my Lord your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but He has grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the Straight Path (the truth) So if you turn away, still I have conveyed the message with which it was sent to you. My Lord will make another people succeed you, and you will not harm Him.” (Ch 11:54-57 Quran)

The Punishment

Thus Hud renounced them and their gods and affirmed his dependence on Allah Who had created him. Hud realized that punishment would be incurred on the disbeliveers among his people. It is one of the laws of life. Allah punishes the disbeliveers, no matter how rich, tyrannical or great they are.

Hud and his people waited for Allah’s promise. A drought spread throughout the land, for the sky no longer sent its rain, the sun scorched the desert sands, looking like a disk of fire which settled on people’s heads.

Hud’s people hastened to him asking: “What is that drought Hud?” Hud answered: “Allah is angry with you. If you believe in Him, He will accept you and the rain will fall and you will become stronger than you are.”

They mocked him and became more obstinate, sarcastic and preserve in their unbelief. The drought increased, the trees turned yellow, and plants died.

A day came when they found the sky full of clouds. Hud’s people were glad as they came out of their tents crying: “A cloud, which will give us rain!”

The weather changed suddenly from burning dry and hot to stinging cold with wind that shook everything; trees, plants, tents, men and women. The wind increased day after day and night after night.

Hud’s people started to flee. They ran to their tents to hide but the gale became stronger, ripping their tents from their stakes. They hid under cloth covers but the gale became stronger and still and tore away the covers. It slashed clothing and skin. It penetrated the apertures of the body and destroyed it. It hardly touched anything before it was destroyed or killed, its core sucked out to decompose and rot. The storm raged for 8 days and 7 nights.

Almighty Allah recounts:

“Then when they saw it as a dense cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: “This is a cloud bringing us rain!” Nay but it is that torment which you were asking to be hastened! a wind wherein is a painful torment! Destroying everything by the command of its Lord! (Ch 46:24-25 Quran)

Allah the Exalted described it thus:

“And as for Ad, they were destroyed for a firious violent wind which Allah imposed on them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so that you could see men lying overthrown (destroyed) as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees! (Ch 69:6-7 Quran)

The Believers are Saved

 That violent gale did not stop until the entire region was reduced to ruins and its wicked people. destroyed, swallowed by the sands of the desert. Only Hud and his followers remained unharmed. They migrated to Hadramaut and lived there in peace, worshipping Allah, their true Lord.
