26. HAZRAT HIZQEEL(علیہ السلام)

 Hazrat Hizqeel

Allah T’aala ne farmaya:

“Kaya tum ne unhein nahin dekha jo hazaron ki ta’adaad mein thay aur moat ke dar ke mare apne gharon se nikal khade huaye thay? Allah T’aala ne unhein farmaya: Mar jao! Phir unhein zinda kar diya. Beshak Allah T’aala logon par bada fazal karne wala hai lekin aksar log na-shukre hein.” (Al-Baqrah: 2/243)

Imam Muhammad Bin Is’haq رحمہ اللہ ne Wahab Bin Munabbah رحمہ اللہ ka qoal naqal kiya hai keh Hazrat Yousha’a علیہ السلام ke ba’ad jab Allah T’aala ne Hazrat Kalib Bin Youfanna علیہ السلام ko bhi wafaat de di to Bani Israil mein un ka mansab Hazrat Hizqel Bin Bozi علیہ السلام ko mila. Unhon ne hi Apni qoam ke haq mein dua ki thi jis ka zikar Quraan Majeed mein bhi hai. Irshad-e-Bari T’aala hai:

“Kaya ap ne unhein nahin dekha jo hazaron ki ta’adaad mein thay aur moat ke dar ke mare apne gharon se nikal khade huaye thay.”

Imam Ibn-e-Is’haq رحمہ اللہ farmate hein: Woh waba ke dar se bhag thay. Woh aik medan mein thehre to Allah T’aala ne farmaya: “Mar jao! “Woh sab mar gaye. Un ke irad girad aik bad ban gai takeh darinde un tak na pohanchen. Isi tarah aik taweel muddat guzar gai. Hazrat Hizqel علیہ السلام wahan se guzre. Ap khade hokar sochane lage. Ap se kaha gaya: “Kaya Ap chahte hein keh Allah T’aala inhein Ap ki nazron ke samne zinda farma de?” Ap ne farmaya: “Ji han!” Ap se kaha gaya keh in hadiyon ko mukhatib kar ke kahen kh in par goshat chadh jaye aur ragen, Pathe apne apne maqam par aa milen. Ap ne Allah ke hukam se unhein aawaz de kar yeh bat kahi to woh sab log (zinda ho kar) uth khade huaye aur kehne lage: سبحان الله،سبحان الله Allah ne hamein zinda kar diya aur ba’yak aawaz Nara-e-Takbeer lagaya.( Tafseer Al-Tabri, 2/794, Tafseer Soorat-ul-Baqarah, Aayat: 243.)

Janab Sudi رحمہ اللہ se mundarja bala aayaat ki tashreeh mein marwi hai keh Wasit ke qareeb aik shehar “Daawardaan” mein Ta’oon phel gaya. Wahan ke aksar bashinde wahan se nikal kar aik qareebi maqam par ja thehre. Phir yeh huwa keh shehar mein thehre rehne wale aksar log mar gaye aur doosare mahfooz rahe. Un mein se zayada log na mare. Jab waba khatam hui to woh log sahih salaamat shehar mein wapis aa gaye. Tab shehar mein theharne walon ne kaha: “Hamare yeh sathihum se zayada samajhdar thay. Agar hum bhi inhi jaisa Taraz-e-Amal ikhtiyar karte to ham bhi bach jate. Agar dobara ta’oon phela to hum bhi in ke sath shehar se door chale jaen gay.”

Agle saal ta’oon shuru huwa to yeh sab log jin ki ta’adaad taqriban pentees hazar thi, Sab ke sab nikal khade huye aur usi wasee maidan mein ja thehre. Is dauran mein wahan se aik Nabi Hizqel ka guzar huwa to unhen dekh kar ruk gaye. Woh sochne aur afsoos karne lage. Ap is bat par tajjub farma rahe thay keh Allah T’aala ki Qudrat-o-Taaqat kitni azeem hai (keh inhein achanak pakad liya aur itni badi qoam khatam ho gai).

Allah T’aala ne Ap ki taraf wahi farmai: “Kaya Ap dekhna chahte hein keh main in ko kis tarah zinda karon ga?” Allah T’aala tumhen hukam deta hai keh ikatthi ho jao!” Yeh sun kar haddiyan aik dosari se judne lagien hatta ke haddiyon ke poore dhanche ban gaye. Phir Ap ko wahi ke zariye se farmaya gaya: “Inhein keh dijiye: Aye haddiyo! Allah T’aala tumhen hukam deta hai keh goshat pehan lo!” Ap ke ailan karte hi haddiyon par goshat chadhna shuru ho gaya aur jismon mein khoon gardish karne laga. Un ke jismon par woh libas bhi aa gaya jo marte waqat unhon ne pehna huwa tha. Phir hukam diya gaya: ” Pukariye!” Ap ne pukar kar kaha: “Aye (be jan) Jismo! Allah tumhein hukam deta hai keh khade hojao.” Woh (zinda ho kar) uth khade huaye. (Tafseer Al Tabri: 2/795, Tafseer Soorat-ul-Baqarah, Aayat: 243.)

Jab Ap Maqam “Surakh” pa pohanche to foaj ke kamandaron ya’ani Hazrat Abu Ubaida Bin Jarrah رضی اللہ عنہ aur deegar hazraat ne mulaqat ki aur ittila’a di keh Sham mein waba pheli hui hai. Hazrat Umar رضی اللہ عنہ muhajir aur ansaar hazraat se mashwara kiya. To mukhtalif aara’a samne aaien.

Hazrat Abdul Rahman Bin Aof رضی اللہ عنہ kisi kam se gaye huaye thay. (Is liye mashwara ke moqa’a par mojood na thay. Jab unhein maloom huwa to) Hazrat Umar رضی اللہ عنہ ki khidmat mein hazir ho kar unhon ne farmaya: “Is masle ke bare mein mere pass (Sharai hukam ka) ilm mojood hai. Main ne Rasoolullah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم se yeh irshad suna hai: ” Jab ye (Ta’oon) us ilaqe mein ho jahan tum mojood ho to is se bachne ke liye us aabadi se mat niklo aur jab tumhein khabar mile keh woh kisi ilaqe mein phel gaya hai to wahan na jao.” Hazrat Umar رضی اللہ عنہ ne Allah ka shukar ada kiya aur foaj ko wapis le gaye. ( Musnad-e-Ahmad: 1/194.)

Imam Muhammad Bin Is’haq رحمہ اللہ farmate hein: Hamein yeh bat maloom nahin ho saki keh Hizqel علیہ السلام kitna arasa Bani Israil mein guzaar kar foat huaye. Ap ki wafaat ke ba’ad Bani Israil ne Allah se kiye huaye Ahad-o-Peman faramosh kar diye, Chunancheh un ko bahut masaaib paish aaye. Unhon ne but parasti bhi shuru kar di. Un ke buton mein se aik ka naam “Ba’al” tha. Phir Allah T’aala ne Hazrat Ilyas علیہ السلام ko mab’oos farmaya. Jin ka zikar pehle ho chuka hai.

Hazrat Ilyas علیہ السلام ke ba’ad un logon mein Hazrat Al Yasa’a Bin Akhtoob علیہ السلام Mansab-e-Nubuwat par faaiz huaye.

Prophet Hizqeel (Ezekiel)

Allah Resurrects the Dead

Almighty Allah said:

“Did you (O Muhammad) not think of those who went forth from their homes in thousands. fearing death? Allah said to them, “Die.” And then He restored them to life. Truly, Allah is full of Bounty to mankind, but most men think not. (Ch 2:243 Quran).

Mohammad Ibn Ishaaq stated of Wahb Ibn Munbah said that when Allah took Kalih Ibn Yofra (Jephtha) after Joshua, Ezekiel Ibn Buzi succeeded him as the prophet to the Israelites. The people had fled from Palestine for fear of the plague and settled on a plateau. Allah said to them: “Die you all,” and they all perished. A few centuries passed, and then Ezekiel, passing by, stopped over them, wondering. There came a voice: “Do you want Allah to resurrect them while you watch?” He said: “Yes.” Then he was commanded to call those bones to join one to the other and to be covered with flesh. So he called them by the power of Allah, and the people arose and glorified Allah in the voice of one man.

Allah Resurrects the Dead Through Ezekiel

According to Ibn Abbas, this place was called “Damardan.” Its people were inflicted with plague, so they fled, while a group of them who remained in the village perished. The Angel of Death called to the survivors: “Die you all,” and they perished. After a long time a prophet called Ezekiel passed by them and stood wondering over them, twisting his jaws and fingers. Allah revealed to him: “Do you want Me to show you how I bring them back to life? He said: “Yes.” His idea was to marvel at the power of Allah over them. A voice said to him: “Call: ‘O you bones, Allah commands you to gather up.” The bones began to fly one to the other until they became skeletons. Then Allah revealed to him to say, “Call: ‘O you bones, Allah commands you to put on flesh and blood and the clothes in which they had died.” And a voice said: “Allah commands you to call the bodies to rise.” And they rose. When they returned to life they said: “Blessed are You, O Lord, and all praises is Yours.” Ibn ‘Abbas reported that the dead who were resurrected were four thousand, while Ibn Salih said they were nine thousand.

Hadith About the Plagues

Regarding plague, Abu Ubaidah Ibn Al-Jarrah related that ‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattab was on his way to Syria and had reached Sarg when the leader of the Muslim army, Abu Ubaidah Ibn Al-Jarrah, and his companions met him and told him of a pestilence that had broken out in Syria. ‘Umar remember the Prophet’s (pbuh) saying: “If it (plague) be in a country where you are staying, do not go out fleeing it, and if you hear it is in a country, do not enter it.” Umar praised Allah and then went off.

Muhammad Ibn Ishaaq stated that we do not know how long Ezekiel (pbuh) stayed among the Israelites before Allah took him away. After him, the Israelites deviated from the right way of life. as they usually did, and deserted Allah’s covenant with them. They worshipped many idols, among them Ba’al, so Allah sent to them the Prophet Elijah (pbuh).
