YAJOOJ MAJOOJ KA NIKALNA:
Isi tarah alamaat-e-kubra mein se aik alaamat yajooj majooj ka nikalna hai.
Allah Ta’aala ka farmaan hai:
حَتّٰی إِذَا فُتِحَتْ یَأْجُوْجُ وَمَأْجُوْجُ وَہُمْ مِّنْ کُلِّ حَدَبٍ یَّنْسِلُوْنَ ﴾
“Yahan tak keh yajooj majooj kholdiye jaengay aur wo har bulandi se daurtay huay aengay.”
[Surah Anbiya:21: 96]
Aur Hazrat Abu Hurerah(رضي الله عنه) bayan karte hai keh Rasool Allah(ﷺ) ne farmaaya:
“Beshak yajooj majooj har roz khudaee karte hain yahan tak keh jab wo suraj ki Shua’aen dekhne kay qareeb hotay hain tou unka nigraan unse keheta hai: Ab laut jaou, kal tum phir khudaee karogay- Tou(agle roz) tak Allah Ta’aala usay pehli halat mein lautabdeta hai- (Is tarha wo badsutoor iski khudaee kartay rahingay) Hatta kay jab unki madad poori hojaengi aur Allah Ta’aala unhay logon par musallat karnay ka iradah farmalega tou wo khudaee karingay yahan tak kay jab wo suraj ki shua’aey dekhne kay qareeb hongay tou unka nigraan unse kahega: Ab Laut jaou kal tum In Shaa Allah Ta’aala phir khudaee karogay- Tou aglay roz jab wo khudaee karnay aengay tou us (Deewar) ko usi halat kein dekhingay jispar wo usay kal chorkar gae the, isliye wo iski khudaee karkay bahar logon par musallat hojaengay- Wo pani khushk kardengay aur log unkay shar se bachnay ke liye qilla band hojaengay- Lihaza wo Asmaan ki janib teer phenkengay jo khoon aaluda hokar wapis laut aengay- Wo kahengay: Ham ahl-e-zameen par bhi ghalib aagae aur ahl-e-asmaan par bhi- Phir Allah Ta’aala unki guddiyon mein aik keera paida kardega jo unhay qatal kardega.”
Rasool Allah(ﷺ) ne farmaaya, “Is zaat ki qasam jiske hath mein meri jaan hai! (Yajooj Majooj is qadar fasad phailaengay aur janwaaroun ka gosht khaengay keh zameen kay janwar tak (Unke marne kay ba’ad) shukar karengay.”

Jab keh Hazrat Nawas bin sam’aan(رضي الله عنه) ki riwayat mein is baat ki sarahaat hai keh Rasool Allah(ﷺ) ne farmaaya keh yajooj majooj ka zuhoor Hazrat Isa(علیہ السلام) kay daur mein hoga.

Allah says:
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبٍۢ يَنسِلُونَ ٩٦
until ˹after˺ Gog and Magog have broken loose ˹from the barrier˺,1 swarming down from every hill.[1]
[Surah Anbiya:21: 96]
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَغَيْرُ، وَاحِدٍ، – الْمَعْنَى وَاحِدٌ وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ بَشَّارٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي السَّدِّ قَالَ “ يَحْفِرُونَهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ حَتَّى إِذَا كَادُوا يَخْرِقُونَهُ قَالَ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِمُ ارْجِعُوا فَسَتَخْرِقُونَهُ غَدًا فَيُعِيدُهُ اللَّهُ كَأَمْثَلِ مَا كَانَ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ مُدَّتَهُمْ وَأَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَهُمْ عَلَى النَّاسِ قَالَ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِمُ ارْجِعُوا فَسَتَخْرِقُونَهُ غَدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَاسْتَثْنَى . قَالَ فَيَرْجِعُونَ فَيَجِدُونَهُ كَهَيْئَتِهِ حِينَ تَرَكُوهُ فَيَخْرِقُونَهُ فَيَخْرُجُونَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَيَسْتَقُونَ الْمِيَاهَ وَيَفِرُّ النَّاسُ مِنْهُمْ فَيَرْمُونَ بِسِهَامِهِمْ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَتَرْجِعُ مُخَضَّبَةً بِالدِّمَاءِ فَيَقُولُونَ قَهَرْنَا مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ وَعَلَوْنَا مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ قَسْوَةً وَعُلُوًّا . فَيَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَغَفًا فِي أَقْفَائِهِمْ فَيَهْلِكُونَ قَالَ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ دَوَابَّ الأَرْضِ تَسْمَنُ وَتَبْطَرُ وَتَشْكَرُ شَكْرًا مِنْ لُحُومِهِمْ ” . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِثْلَ هَذَا .
Narrated Abu Rafi’:
a Hadith of Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (ﷺ), regarding the ‘barrier (18:93).’ “They excavated each day, until when they are just about to penetrate it, their leader says: ‘Go back so that you can penetrate it tomorrow!'” He said: “But Allah makes it return just as it was, until their appointed time, when Allah ordains to send them upon the people, and their leader says: ‘Go back so you can penetrate it tomorrow, if Allah wills.’ So he makes this exception.” He said: “So they return, and find it just as it was when they left it. Then they penetrate it, and [they (Ya’juj & Ma’juj)] are released upon the people drinking up the water, and the people flee from them. They shoot their arrows into the heavens so they returned dyed with blood, and they say – crudely and arrogantly – ‘We vanquished those in the earth, let us dominate the inhabitants of the heavens.’ Then Allah sends Naghaf upon them, attaching to the nape of their necks, destroying them.” He said: “By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! The beasts of the earth will become very fat and bloated with milk from their flesh.” .[2]

Who are Yajuj and Majuj?[3]
There is no doubt that Yajuj and Majuj are two huge nations of the sons of Adam. Anyone who reads the story of Dhu’l-Qarnayn and how he dealt with this nation in Surat al-Kahf will know for sure that they exist and that the barrier which was built is not metaphorical or imaginary, but is a physical barrier built of iron and melted copper.
The basic principle is that we should take this Quranic text as it is, without resorting to any kind of misinterpretation or trying to twist the intended meaning.
Wall of Dhu’l-Qarnayn: Real or imaginary?
The Quran has told us how the barrier was built and what materials were used, so it is not right to say that it is a metaphorical or imaginary barrier. In Surat al-Kahf, Allah has told us the story of the Muslim king and the great leader Dhu’l-Qarnayn (may Allah have mercy on him):
“Until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them, a people who scarcely understood a word.
They said, ‘O Dhu’l-Qarnayn! Verily! Yajuj and Majuj are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?’
He said: ‘That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord has established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier.
Give me pieces (blocks) of iron,’ then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said, ‘Blow,’ till when he had made it (red as) fire, he said, ‘Bring me molten copper to pour over it.’
So they [Yajuj and Majuj ] were made powerless to scale it or dig through it.
(Dhu’l-Qarnayn) said: ‘This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true.’” [al-Kahf 18:93-98]
Hadiths about Yajuj and Majuj
What indicates that these nations exist at present, and indeed are attempting on a daily basis to get out and attack people, is the hadith reported by Ibn Majah with a sahih isnad from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that Yajuj and Majuj are digging every day until they can almost see sunlight, then the one who is in charge of them says, “Go back, we will dig again tomorrow.” Then Allah restores (the barrier) and makes it stronger than it was. (This will continue) until the appointed time. When Allah wishes to send them against the people, they will dig until they can almost see sunlight, then the one who is in charge of them will say, “Go back, we will dig again tomorrow, in sha Allah.” This time he will say “in sha Allah”, so when they come back (the next day), they will find it as they left it, so they will dig their way out and emerge to attack the people. They will dry up water (by drinking it, because of their great numbers), and the people will seek to protect themselves from them in their fortresses. They will fire their arrows into the sky, and the arrows will come back down covered in blood (as a test for them), and they will say, “We have defeated the people of the earth and have gained the upper hand over the people of heaven.” Then Allah will send worms on the napes of their necks, which will kill them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, the beasts of the earth will grow fat from their flesh.” (Sahih Ibn Majah, 3298)
Umm Habibah bint Abi Sufyan reported from Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon her in an agitated state and said, “La ilaha ill-Allah, woe to the Arabs from an evil that has approached! Today a hole like this has been opened in the barrier of Yajuj and Majuj ,” and he made a circle with his thumb and forefinger. Zaynab bint Jahsh said: “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, will we be destroyed even though there are righteous people among us?’ He said, ‘Yes, if evil becomes overwhelming.’” (Reported by al-Bukhari, 3097).

یاجوج ماجوج کا نکلنا
اسی طرح علاماتِ کبری میں سے ایک علامت یاجوج ماجوج کا نکلناہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرمان ہے :﴿ حَتّٰی إِذَا فُتِحَتْ یَأْجُوْجُ وَمَأْجُوْجُ وَہُمْ مِّنْ کُلِّ حَدَبٍ یَّنْسِلُوْنَ ﴾
’’ یہاں تک کہ یاجوج ماجوج کھول دئیے جائیں گے اور وہ ہر بلندی سے دوڑتے ہوئے آئیں گے ۔ ‘‘
الأنبیاء 21:96
اورحضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :
’’ بے شک یاجوج ماجوج ہر روز کھدائی کرتے ہیں یہاں تک کہ جب وہ سورج کی شعائیں دیکھنے کے قریب ہوتے ہیں تو ان کا نگران ان سے کہتا ہے : اب لوٹ جاؤ ، کل تم پھر کھدائی کرو گے ۔ تو ( اگلے روز ) تک اللہ تعالیٰ اسے پہلی حالت میں لوٹا دیتا ہے ۔( اس طرح وہ بدستور اس کی کھدائی کرتے رہیں گے ) حتی کہ جب ان کی مدت پوری ہو جائے گی اور اللہ تعالیٰ انھیں لوگوں پر مسلط کرنے کا ارادہ فرما لے گا تو وہ کھدائی کریں گے یہاں تک کہ جب وہ سورج کی شعائیں دیکھنے کے قریب ہوں گے تو ان کا نگران ان سے کہے گا : اب لوٹ جاؤ کل تم ان شاء اللہ تعالیٰ پھر کھدائی کرو گے۔ تو اگلے روز جب وہ کھدائی کرنے آئیں گے تو اس ( دیوار ) کو اسی حالت میں دیکھیں گے جس پر وہ اسے کل چھوڑ کر گئے تھے ، اس لئے وہ اس کی کھدائی کرکے باہر لوگوں پر مسلط ہو جائیں گے۔ وہ پانی خشک کر دیں گے اور لوگ ان کے شر سے بچنے کیلئے قلعہ بند ہو جائیں گے۔ لہٰذا وہ آسمان کی جانب تیر پھینکیں گے جو خون آلود ہو کر واپس لوٹیں گے۔ وہ کہیں گے : ہم اہلِ زمیں پر بھی غالب آگئے اور اہلِ آسماں پر بھی ۔ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی گدیوں میں ایک کیڑا پیدا کردے گا جو انھیں قتل کردے گا ۔‘‘
رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ’’ اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے !( یاجوج ماجوج اس قدر فساد پھیلائیں گے اور جانوروں کا گوشت کھائیں گے کہ زمین کے جانور تک ( ان کے مرنے کے بعد ) شکر کریں گے ۔ ‘‘

جبکہ حضرت نواس بن سمعان رضی اللہ عنہ کی روایت میں اس بات کی صراحت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یاجوج ماجوج کا ظہور حضرت عیسی علیہ السلام کے دور میں ہو گا ۔
