02. MAUT KE BA’AD [After Death]
MAUT KE BA’AD:
Rasool Allah(ﷺ) ne farmaaya!
* Jab tum kisi faut hone wale shakhs ke paas moujood ho tou mayyat ki ankhen band kardiya karo kyunkeh (Jab farishte rooh qabz karke wapis chale jaate hain tou) uski nazar rooh ke peche jaati hai.

Maut ke ba’ad mayyat ko sidha lita den, dono paou ke anghote apus me bandhen, mu band karden, sar aur thori(chin) ke neche se lejakar kapra bandhe.
* Mayyat ka jism aik barhi chadar se dhanp den.

AFTER DEATH
Once the person expires, the relatives and those present are obliged to perform particular services for him or her:
The eyes of the dead person should be closed and a du‘aa made for him based on the following hadeeth of Umm Salamah:
“Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) came in and found Abu Salamah’s eyes staring so he closed them and said:
“Verily when the soul is snatched, the eyes follow it.”
[Sahih Muslim:2003, Sunan Abu Dawud: 3112, Sunan Ibn-E-Majah: 1455]
Bind the lower jaw to his head and his toes with each other so that it does not sag.
A sheet of cloth large enough to cover the whole body of the deceased should be drawn over body. This was the approved practise of the Prophet (ﷺ) and the recorded practise of the Prophet’s(ﷺ) companions.
“Aa’ishah (رضی اللہ عنہا) reported that a striped Yemeni cloak3 was drawn over the Prophet’s body [when he died].”

موت کے بعد:
رسولِ کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا!
جب تم کسی فوت ہونے والے شخص کے پاس موجود ہو تو میّت کی آنکھیں بند کر دیا کرو کیونکہ ( جب فرشتے روح قبض کر کے واپس چلے جاتے ہیں تو ) اس کی نظر روح کے پیچھے جاتی ہے.

موت کے بعد میّت کو سیدھا لٹا دیں دونوں پاؤں کے انگوٹھے آپس میں باندھ دیں منہ بند کر دیں سر اور ٹھوڑی کے نیچے سے لے جاکر کپڑا باندھ دیں _
∆ میّت کا جسم ایک بڑی چادر سے ڈھانپ دیں .
