39. KHAYANAT KARNA [Treachery]
KHIYANAT:
Allah ta’ala ne farmaya:
“Imam daaron! Allah aur us kay Rasul kay sath khiyanat na karo aur apni amanaton mein khiyanat na karo aur tum jante ho”
Al-Anfal 8: 27
Wahidi ne farmaya: yeh ayat Abu lubaba kay baare mein nazil hui jab RasullAllah ﷺ ne unhen Banu Quraiza ki taraf bheja, jab unka muhasra kia aur us kay ehlo ayal un mein shamil the, tou unhon ne kaha: Abu lubaba! Tumhara hamare muta’alliq kia khayal hai agar ham apne baare mein Saad رضي الله عنه kay faisle ko qubool kar len? Tou Abu lubaba ne apne halaq ki taraf ishara kia ya’ani yeh keh woh (faisla) zibah hai pas tum na karo, yeh unki taraf se Allah aur us kay Rasul kay lie khiyanat thi, Abu lubaba ne kaha: main ne apni jaga se apne qadam nahin hilae the keh mujhe pata chal gaya keh main ne Allah aur us kay Rasul ﷺ se khiyanat ki hai aur uska farman
Is mein nahi par ataf hai, ya’ani tum apni amanaton mein khiyanat na karo
“Amanaton se murad woh aa’mal hain jinko Allah ne bandon par amanat thehraya hai ya’ani faraiz, woh farmata hai tum un mein kami na karo”
Alkalbi ne farmaya:
Jahan tak Allah aur us kay Rasul ki khiyanat ka ta’alluq hai tou isse murad un donon ki ma’siat hai aur rahi amanat ki khiyanat tou har shakhs us cheez ka ameen hai jo Allah ne us par farz qarar di hai, agar chahe tou us mein khiyanat kare aur agar chahe tou use adaa kare, Allah ta’ala kay siwa use koi nahin janta, aur uska farman وانتم تعلمون tum jante ho keh woh amanat hai is mein koi shubah nahinz aur Allah ta’ala ne farmaya:
أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى كَيْدَ ٱلْخَآئِنِينَ۞
“Allah khiyanat karne walon ki tadbeero chaal ko chalne nahin deta”
Yusuf 12: 52
Ya’ani jo apni amanat mein khiyanat karta hai uski chaal ko chalne nahin deta ya’ani woh hidayat se mehrumi ki wajah se aaqibat mein ruswa hojata hai aur aap ﷺ ne farmaya:
“Munafiq ki 3 nishanian hain, jab bat kare tou jhoot bole, jab wada kare khilaf warzi kare jab us kay pas amanat rakhi jae tou woh khiyanat kare ” [Bukhari: 33; Muslim: 59]
Aur RasullAllah ﷺ ne farmaya:
“Us shakhs ka iman nahin jo amanat daar nahin aur jo shakhs ehed ka paband nahin uska koi deen nahin” [Ibne Abi Shaibah; (Al iman 7); Ahmed: 135/3]
Khiyanat har cheez mein qabeeh hai aur uska ba’az ba’az se ziada bura hai, aur jis ne tumhare paison mein khiyanat ki, woh us shakhs ki tarah nahin jis ne tumhare ehel aur tumhare maal mein khiyanat kius ne bare gunah ka irtikab kia aur RasullAllah ﷺ se marwi hai keh aap ne farmaya:
“Jo shakhs tumhare pas amanat rakhe tum use amanat adaa kardo aur jo shakhs tumhare sath khiyanat kare tum usse khiyanat na karo “
Aur hadith mein hai:
“Momin khiyanat aur jhoot kay elawa kisi bhi cheez ka khoogar ho sakta hai ” [Ahmed]
Aur RasullAllah ﷺ ne farmaya:
Allah farmata hai:
“Main do sharakat daaron mein teesra hota hun jab tak un mein ek apne sathi se khiyanat nahin karta”
Aur us mein yeh bhi hai:
“Sab se pehle logon se amanat utha li jaegi aur akhir mein jo baqi rahega woh namaz hai aur bohot se aise
Namazi hain jin mein koi khair o bhalai nahin” [Abu Dawood]
[Abu Dawood]
“Aur Aap (ﷺ) ne farmaya:
“Is tarah jahannumi hain’ ap ne un mein se’ aik admi ka zikar kiya wo zahir nahi karta tha’ usse tam’a tha agar us kay pas koi mamooli si cheez bhi rakh den tou wo us mein khayanat karta tha.”
Ibne Mas’ood رحمه الله ne farmaya: roz e qayamat sahib amanat ko laya jaega jis ne us mein khayanat ki hogi tou usse kaha jaega: apni amanat ada karo wo kahega Ae Rabb! Kahan se ( adaa karon ) Duniya tou guzar gai? Farmaya: us ko jahannum kay garhe mein waisi shakal de di jaegi’ jaisi us roz thi’ jab us ne usse hasil kiya tha. Phir usse kaha jaega wahan jao aur usse le kar aao farmaya: pass wo us ki taraf utrega usse apne kandhe par uthaega tou wo us par Duniya kay pahharon se bhi ziyada saqeel hogi hatta keh jab wo samjhega keh wo nijaat pagaya hai tou wo (amanat) gir jaegi aur phir wo bhi hamesha hamesha kay liye us kay peeche chala phir farmaya: Namaz amanat hai’ wazu amanat hai’ ghusal amanat hai’ wazan amanat hai’ naap amanat hai aur un se bari amanat logon ki rakhi hoi amanat hai. Ae Allah! Apne lutf o Karam se hamare sath mamla farma aur apne afw o darguzar se hamara tadaruk farma.
NASEEHAT
Allah kay bando! Kia hi behtreen auqaat the jinhe tum ne zay’e kar diya’ kia hi jahil nafoos the jin ki tum ne ita’at ki’ amwal kay bare mein kitne hi bareek sawal hain’ zara ghour karo tum ne unhe kaise jama kiya’ A’mal kay register kitne mehfooz honge’ zara tadbeer karo keh tum ne un kay supurd kiya kiya Qaleel (dunia) se kooch se pehle khajoor aur chiragh ki batti ka hisab hone se pehle aur isse pehle keh tum qabron mein chale jao aur tum aise ghar mein keeron makoron ki khaurak ban jao jis ka darwaza band hai (tadabbur karo) aur agar us mein gunahgar se kaha jae tum kia pasand karte ho tou woh kehega: main wapas Jana chahta hun aur main dobara (gunahon ki taraf) nahin lautunga
“Qaume nooh kay Ghar wale, phir aad (qaume hood) aur un kay ba’ad samood (qaume Saleh) kahan hain “
“Woh jo takiyon aur Resham mein rehne wali qaum thi matti kay garhon ki taraf chali gai “
“Aur sehetmand shakhs mareez ki ayadat ko jata hai aur woh us shakhs se, jiski ayadat kay lie jata hai, maut kay ziada qareeb hai”

Breach of Faith
Allah Most High says, {O ye that believe! Betray not the trust of Allah and the Messenger, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you.}
(Al-anfal: 27)
AI-Wahidi (may Allah bestow mercy on him) said, “This verse is revealed concerning Abu Lubabah who was sent by the Prophet (pbuh) to the Jews of Banu Quraizah during the siege of Muslims to their land. The Jews said to Abu Lubabah, these families are living among the Jews, what do you say concerning the submission to the judgment of sai’d. Abu Lubabah then pointed at his throat meaning that Sa’d would sentence you to be slaughtered. Abu Lubabah said, “I have not moved from my place until I realized that I betrayed Allah and His Messenger.”
“Nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you” means that Muslims are commanded to avoid betraying their trusts as they are prohibited to betray Allah and His Messenger (pbuh). Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “Trust” means what Alah has entrusted Man with, i.e, the religious. Thus they are prohibited.
AI-Kalbi explained, “Disobedience to Allah and His Messenger (pbuh) means betraying the trust.
However, man is entrusted with the other trusts like the religious duties even he can unlawfully betray them in secret.”
“Knowingly” refers to the fact that man is commanded to avoid betraying the trusts as long as he undoubtedly knows the sacredness of these trusts.
The Glorious Qur’an moreover explains, {Allah will never guide the snare of the false ones.} (Yusuf: 52)
This glorious verse indicates that Allah will ever set the affairs of the treacherous ones in order. On the Day of Judgment, He will publicize their faults before people.
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “Three are the signs of the hypocrite: When he talks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it and when he is given a trust, he betrays.”¹
He (pbuh) also said,”Someone who cannot keep a trust is devoid of faith. Some one who cannot keep an agreement is devoid of religion. “
Some matters is worse than the others. A person who cheats one for a pittance is not like a person who betrays one concerning one’s wife and money, perpetrating outrages.
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “Fulfill your trust to the one who entrusted you and do not betray the one who betrayed you.”²
Also the hadith states,
¹Agreed upon. ²Reported by Ahmad. |
“A believer may be naturally disposed to any shortcoming except treachery and lying.”¹
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) declared further, “Allah Most High says, ‘I bless the partners as long as no one betrays the other.”²
“Trust is the first of characteristics to disappear among people, where as prayer is the last one and the prayer of some persons may be of no avail.”³
The Prophet (pbuh) cautioned the Ummah saying, “Beware of treachery for it is the worst companion.”⁴
Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) explained, “On the Day of Judgment, the persons who betrayed their trust will be commanded to fulfill it. Consequently, they would wonder, ‘How can we fulfill what had been perished in the worldly life!” At this moment it would be pictured in the basest rank of Hell-fire. Having commanded to bring it from this place of Hell, the treacherous one would carry it over his shoulder and would find it heavier than the mountains of the world. As long as he reaches the top of the Hell, the trust would fall to the basest rank of Hell and it will happen forever” Ibn Ma’ud added, “Prayer is a trust, ablution is a trust, Body-worship is a trust, measuring is a trust and the’ greatest form of trusts is the deposits.”
