 TASWEER BANANA

 

KAPRON, DEEWARON, PATHARON, DIRHAMON AUR BAQI ASHIYA PAR TASWEEREN BANANA, KHUWAH WOH MAUM YA AATE YA LOHE YA TAMBE YA OON YA IS KAY ELAWA KISI AUR CHEEZ SE BANAI GAI HON AUR UNHEN TALF KARNE KA HUKUM:

 

Allah ta’ala ne farmaya:

 

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا۞

 

“Beshak woh log jo Allah aur us kay Rasul ko eeza dete hain Allah ne unko dunia wa akhirat mein mal’oon qarar dia hai aur un kay lie ruswa Kun azab tayar kar rakha hai”

Al-Ahzab : 57

 

Ekramah ne farmaya:

 

Isse murad woh log hain jo tasweeren banate hain

“Jo log tasweeren banate hain, unhen Qayamat kay din azab dia jaega, unhen kaha jaega : jo Tumne paida kia usko zinda karo”  [Bukhari: 5951; Muslim: 2108]

Ayesha رضي الله عنها bayan karti hain RasullAllah ﷺ safar se tashreef lae toi main ne Ghar kay darmian bane hue chabootre par aik pardah dala hua tha jis mein moortian thi, jab RasullAllah ﷺ ne use dekha tou aap kay chehra Mubarak ka rang badal gaya aur farmaya:

“Ayesha! Qayamat kay din sab se sakht azab unko hoga jo Allah عزوجل ki takhleeq kay sath mushabihat karte hain ” [Bukhari: 5954; Muslim: 2107]

Ayesha رضي الله عنها bayan karti hain main ne use kaat dala aur usse do takiye bana lie

Ibne Abbas رضي الله عنهما bayan karte hain main ne RasullAllah ﷺ ko farmate hue suna:

Har musawwir Jahannum mein hai , woh (Allah ta’ala) har Surat ko jo us ne (dunia mein) banai thi aik jaan dega, aur us kay sath use jahannum ki aag mein azab dia jaega “ [Muslim: 2110]

Ibne Abbas hi bayan karte hain main ne RasullAllah ﷺ ko farmate hue suna:

“Jo shakhs dunia mein koi tasweer banae , Roz-e-Qayamat use paband kia jaega keh woh us mein Rooh daale lekin woh kabhi bhi us mein Rooh nahin daal sakega”

Aur aap ﷺ se marwi hai keh aap ne farmaya:

“AllAh عزوجل farmata hai: us shakhs se ziada zalim Kaun hai jo mere takhleeq Karne ki tarah takhleeq Karne ki koshish karta hai, pas woh aik Dana ya aik jau ya aik zarra hi paida kar dikhaen” [Bukhari: 5953]

Aur aap ﷺ ne farmaya:

“Qayamat kay din aag se aik gardan niklegi tou woh kahega: mujhe 3 qisam kay logon par mamoor kia gaya hai, har us shakhs par jo Allah kay sath kisi aur mabood ki puja kia karta tha, har jaabir sarkash par aur musawwireen lar” [Tirmidhi]

Khattabi farmate hain: aap ﷺ ka ye farman keh “farishte us ghr mein dakhil nahin hote jis mein kutta, tasweer aur Jambi ho”

Isse murad woh farishte hain jo rehmato barkat le kar nazil hote hain, siwae un farishton kay jo hifazat par mamoor hain, woh tou jambi ya ghair Jambi se Alag nahin hote

Yeh bhi kaha gaya hai keh isse murad woh janbi nahin jo jambi hogaya us ne namaz ka waqt hone tak ghusul karna muakhar kardia balkeh isse murad woh jambi hai jo ghusul nahin karta, ghusul karne ko ma’muli samajhta hai aur use adat bana leta hai kyun keh Nabi ﷺ apni azwaje mutahharat kay pas aik hi ghusul se jaya karte the aur is mein ghusul ko us kay wujoob kay awwal waqt se muakhar karna hai

Ayesha رضي الله عنها bayan karti hain Nabi ﷺ sojaya karte the halan keh aap janbi hote the aur aap Pani ko hath bhi nahin lagate the Jahan tak kutte ka ta’alluq hai tou usse murad woh kutta hai jo kheti , maweshi aur shikar kay lie na rakha gaya ho lekin jab uski zarurat ban jae tou phir ba’az umoor mein uski zarurat parne par use rakhne mein koi harj nahin, ya phir Ghar ki hifazat kay lie uski zarurat ho tou phir use rakhne mein bhi koi harj nahin inshaAllah, aur Jahan tak tasweeron ka ta’alluq hai tou Rooh wali tamam tasweeren is mein shamil hain khuwah woh nasab kie hue mujasme hon ya chaton ya deewaron par manqoosh hon ya ghaleeche qaleen waghera par banai hai hon ya kapre mein ya kisi jagah par banai gai ho pas umoomi faisla is kay khilaf hai lihaza isse bachna chahye, بالله التوفيق

Jo shakhs tasweeren talf karne aur unhen zaail karne ki qudrat rakhta ho tou us kay lie unhen talf karna wajib hai , Hibban bin Hussain. Bayan karte hain Ali bin Abi talib ne mujhe farmaya: kia main tumhen aise kaam par na bhejun jis par RasullAllah ﷺ ne mujhe bheja tha [Muslim] ye keh har tasweer ko mita dena aur har oonchi qabar ko barabar kardena

Pas ham Allah se us kay pasandeedah umoor ki taufeeq ka sawal karte hain kyun keh woh sakhi daata hai.

 Picture-making

This applies to pictures on clothes, walls, stones, coins and all things whether they are made from wax, pastes, steel, copper, wool or otherwise.

Allah, the Almighty said,{Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger-Allah has cursed them in this world and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating punishment.}

(AI-Ahzab: 57)

‘Ikrimah said, what is meant by “Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger are picture-makers. On the authority of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), “The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said,”On the Day of Judgment, the picture-makers will be punished and will be told, “Bring to life what you have created.”¹

On the authority of ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) who said, “Once the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) came back from a journey while I unintentionally covered myself with a curtain on which there were pictures of statutes. Upon seeing it, the face of the Messenger of Allah was changed and said,”0 ‘Aishah, the most severely punished among people (on the Day of Judgment) will be those who try to create some thing similar to what Allah has created. ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said, ‘I cut it off and made from it two cushions.”²

On the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) saying, “Every picture-maker will be in Hell-Fire, in which there will be, with every picture he has made (in the worldly life), a soul with which he will be tortured.”³

Ibn ‘ Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) also reported that, “I heard the messenger of Allah (pbuh)saying,”In the worldly life, whoever made a picture, he would be ordered, on the Day of Judgment, to put life into it which he would never be able to do.”

The Prophet (pbuh) has also been reported to have said,

“Allah the Almighty says, who does greater wrong than he who desires to create the like of what I create? Let them create a grain of barely! Let them create an atom.”

The Prophet (pbuh) said,

“On the Day of Judgment, a neck (person) will come out from the Hell and will say, “I am entrusted with three persons, whoever associated with Allah other partners, every tyrant and oppressor and picture-maker.”¹

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said,”The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture.²

In Sunan Abu Dawud, it is reported on the authority of ‘Ali Ibn Abi Talib that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said,”The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog, a picture or a person who is in a state of ritual impurity.”³

Concerning this hadith, AI-Khattabi (may Allah bestow mercy upon him) said, “What is meant by angels is those who descend with mercy and blessings and not those who are entrusted with recording the actions of the servants who accompany those who are in a state of ritual impurity or otherwise. It is also said that what is meant by “a person who is in a state of ritual impurity” is not the one who delays washing until the time of the Prayer comes but the one who does not wash himself from this impurity and neglects it to the extent that it becomes a habit for him. The following narration lends support to the previous meaning, “The Prophet used to have sexual intercourse with all of his wives and wash himself only once.”

This means that the Prophet (pbuh) delayed washing from ritual impurity and did not have body-washing directly after it became obligatory.

‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said, “Sometimes the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) retired to his bed while he was in a state of ritual impurity and did not touch any water.”

As for keeping dogs, it is prohibited if they are used in purposes other than guarding groups of people or for hunting. But if a person is obliged to keep them, for certain purposes, there will be no wrong in this.

By the same token, if the person keeps dogs for guarding his house, there will also be no wrong in this.

As for pictures, it includes everything, which has a soul, whether they are erected bodies, or painted in a ceiling or on a wall or placed in a certain pattern or woven in clothes or places. In all these cases, pictures should be avoided.

Pictures should be defaced and removed in cases where the person is able to do so. In his Sahih,Muslim reported on the authority of Hayyan Ibn Husain who said, “Ali Ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) told me saying, “Should I teach you something on which the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)has brought to me? Do not leave a picture until you erase it, or a raised grave unless leveling it.”
