08. Isteqamat [Uprightness and Steadfastness]
8- باب الاستقامة :
08. ISTIQAMAT KA BAYAN:
Allah taala ne farmaya : “ to saabit qadam reh jaisa ke tujhe hukum huwa. ”
aur farmaya : “ tehqeeq jinhon ne kaha : hamara Rab Allah hai phir us par qaim rahay, un par farishtay ( yeh kehte hue ) nazil hotay hain : tum mat daro aur nah gham khao aur khush khaberi suno us jannat ki jis ka tum se wada kiya ja taa tha. ham tumhare dost hain duniya ki zindagi mein aur akhirat mein. aur tumhare liye wahan woh hai jo tumahra jee chahay. aur tumhare liye wahan woh hai jo tum mango. mehmani hai us bakhsnay walay meharban ki taraf se. ”
neez Allah taala ne farmaya : “ be shak jinhon ne kaha : hamara Rab Allah hai, phir saabit qadam rahay, un par nah koi dar hai aur nah woh ghamgeen hon gaye, woh log hain bahisht walay us mein hamesha rahen gaye badla hai un kamon ka jo woh karte thay.”
FAAIDAH AAYAT:
In ayaat mein istiqamat ka deeni o ukharwi nateeja bayan kiya gaya hai. Allah taala ham sab ko deen par istiqamat ataa farmaiye taa ke ham un khush khbryon ka misdaaq ban saken jo un ayaat mein bayan ki gayi hain .
(85) Hazrat Abu Amar , baaz ke nazdeek Abu Amra, Sufyan bin Abdullah (رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ) bayan karte hain, main ne kaha : aye Allah ke Rasool! mujhe islam ke baray mein aisi baat bata den ke us ke baray mein aap ke ilawa main kisi se sawal nah karoon. aap ne farmaya : “ tum kaho : main Allah par imaan laya phir us par saabit qadam raho.” ( Muslim )
FAWAAID WA MASAIL:
1_ Istiqamat ka matlab hai : Islam ke Awamir wa Nawahi par nihayat saabit qadmi se amal karna, neez ehkaam faraiz o sunan aur mustahibat ko baja lana aur muharmat se ijtinab karna.
2_ imaan mehez zabaan se zahir kar dainay ka naam nahi balkay asal imaan wohi hai jis ke sath amal ho is liye ke amal imaan ka samrah aur nateeja hai. jis terhan be samar darakht ki koi ahmiyat nahi isi terhan amal ke baghair imaan ki hesiyat nahi. aur istiqamat kamaal imaan ki alamat hai.
3_ imaan laa kar us par istiqamat ikhtiyar karna waqai bada mushkil amar hai is liye is par inaam bhi bohat bada rakha gaya hai. surah haa mim al sajidah mein malaika ki dosti, un ki mawaddat aur Hazan malaal se azadi jaisay inamaat ka tazkara mojood hai.
4_ Musnad Ahmed mein hai ke us ne mazeed yeh sawal kiya ke Allah ke Rasool aap mere baray mein kis cheez ke mutaliq khatrah mehsoos karte hain to aap ne apni zabaan ko pakad kar ishara farmaya ke is ki hifazat karna.” ( Musnad Ahmed : 3/413)
RAVI HADEES :
HAZRAT ABU AMAR SUFYAN BIN ABDULLAH (رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ): Sufyan bin Abdullah bin Abi Rabia bin Haris Saqfi Taaifi. kuniat ke baray mein do qaul hain. baaz Abu Amar aur bakol baaz Abu Amra hai.
(86)_ Hazrat Abu Huraira (رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ) se riwayat hai ke Rasoolullah ( ﷺ ) ne farmaya : “ aitdaal ki raah ikhtiyar karo aur seedhay seedhay raho, aur yeh baat jaan lo ke tum mein se koi shakhs sirf apne amal se nijaat nahi paye ga. ” sahaba karaam (رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ) ne arz kiya : ae Allah ke Rasool! aap bhi nahi? aap ( ﷺ ) ne farmaya : “ haan! main bhi nahi, magar yeh ke Allah mujhe apne fazl aur rehmat mein dhaanp le.” ( Muslim )
مقاربة:
ke maienay hain : raah aitdaal ( miyana rawi ) jis mein afraat ho nah tafreet. aur
سداد:
ke maienay hain : istiqamat aur
یتغمدنی:
mujhe pahnaye aur dhaanp le .
Ulama ne kaha hai : Istiqamat
استقامة:
ke maienay hain : Allah ki itaat ka ihtimaam karna. unhon ne kaha : yeh jawami-ul-kalim
جوامع الكلم:
mein se hai. ( yani un kalmaat mein se jin mein alfaaz kam aur ma-ani bohat ziyada hain. ) aur mamlaat ka nazam is se wabasta hai.
وبالله التوفیق .
TAKHREEJ :
Sahih ul-Bukhari, Al-marzaa, Bab taman-nal-mareez ul-mawta Hadees:5673
Wa Sahih Muslim, Sifat il munafiqeen wa ahkaamuhum, lan yad’khul-il-jannat bi-amalihi, Hadees: 2816
FAWAAID WA MASAIL:
1- Is se maloom huwa ke imaan ke sath agarـchay amal ki ahmiyat apni jagah muslim ( tasleem shuda ) hai kyunkay Allah ki rehmat aur us ka fazl haasil karne ka yehi wahid tareeqa hai taham tamam aetmaad sirf amal hi par nahi hona chahiye kyunkay amal ki kotahi ki wajah se ( jis ka hamein ilm bhi nah ho ) Bar bad bhi ho sakta hai is liye amal ke sath yeh dua bhi ki jaye ke hamara amal bargaah ellahi mein qubool ho jaye aur woh hamein apne Daman rehmat mein dhaanp le aur har amal mein ikhlaas naseeb ho ke ikhlaas ke baghair baday se bada amal bhi mardood hai.
2_ Miyana rawi aur aitdaal umoor kher mein bhi matloob hai. be ja tashadud aur taaqat se badh kar neki karna bil-aakhir insaan ko thaka deta hai. aur yon bhi hota hai ke tahajjud wa ishraaq tak ada karne wala ukta kar faraiz bhi tark kar baithta hai. Shariat islamia mein pasandeeda amal woh hai jis par istiqamat aur mudawimat ikhtiyar ki jaye, khuwa woh thora hi ho.
3_ Baaz log miyana rawi ki aad mein faraiz ko bhi tark kar dete hain aur haraam tak ke murtakib hotay hain aur kehte hain ke islam mein tashadud nahi hai. lekin aitdaal ka yeh mafhoom sara sar ghalat hai. is ke maienay faraiz ko tark karne aur haraam ka irtikaab karne ke har gaz nahi hain. khwahishat parasti mein hudood-o-Allah ko pamaal karna aur faraiz ko tark kar ke kehna ke islam mein tang nazri nahi hai yaqeenan maghrib zadgi ki alamat hai .

Chapter 8
Uprightness and Steadfastness
Allah, the Exalted, says:
“So stand (ask Allah to make) you (Muhammad (PBUH)) firm and straight (on the religion of Islamic Monotheism) as you are commanded…” (11:112)
“Verily, those who say: `Our Rubb is Allah (Alone),’ and then they stand firm, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): ‘Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Jannah which you have been promised! We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask. An entertainment from (Allah), the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”’ (41:30-32)
“Verily, those who say: `Our Rubb is (only) Allah,’ and thereafter stand firm and straight (on the Islamic Faith of Monotheism), on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. Such shall be the dwellers of Jannah, abiding therein (forever), – a reward for what they used to do.” (46:13,14)
- Sufyan bin `Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, tell me something of Islam which I will not ask anyone else about it.” He (PBUH) said, “Say, `I believe in Allah’ and then be steadfast”.
[Muslim].
Commentary: Steadfastness means adhering firmly to the injunctions of Islam, to act upon what is ordained and avoid what is prohibited, to perform dutifully orders in respect of obligations and what is regarded desirable and avoid what is unlawful. Faith is not a mere expression of Shahadah. The real Faith is one which is coupled with its actual practice because practice of religion is in fact the fruit of Faith. A tree which does not bear any fruit, has no value, similarly; faith becomes meaningless without practice. Steadfastness is the mark of perfect Faith.
- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Follow the Right Path of Faith strictly, and be steadfast; and keep in mind that none of you can achieve salvation through his (good) actions.” Someone asked, “Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?” He (PBUH) said, “Not even me, unless Allah grants me His Mercy and Grace”.
[Muslim].
Commentary: This Hadith tells us that although the importance of Faith and its practice is beyond any shadow of doubt, because this is the only way to attain His Favours and Blessings, but one should not entirely depend upon practice only because any shortcoming (which one does not even know) can ruin a good deed. It is, therefore, essential that we also pray that our good deeds are accepted by Allah and that He grants us His Infinite Mercy and sincerity because even the greatest noble deed is invalid without it.
