Allah ta’ala ne mujhe sirf jannati khatoon se shaadi karne ka hukm diya hai
(Farman-e-Nabwi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )
Main ne juweriya ke ilawah koi khatoon nahi dekhi jo us se badh kar apni qaum ke liye ba-barkat sabit hui ho. Uski wajah se qaum ke sainkdon afraad qaid se azaad huye.

Husn-e-Akhlaaq-o-Adaab ki paikar, Naaz-o-Naimat se shahi mohlaat mein parwarish pane wali, Aqal-o-Danish aur Fahem-o-Farasat se aarasta, Fasahat-o-Balagat mein mumtaaz hasiyat ki hamil Juweriya Bint-e-Haris ko jab Umm-ul-Mumineen banne ka aizaaz hasil hua to woh apni qaum ke liye barkat ka bayes bani, Ayyiye! Is dil pazeer dastaan se apne Dil-o-Dimagh ko raushan karein.
Madina Munawwarah Islami riyaasat ka paaya takht ban chuka tha. Noor-e-Islam charon taraf zu fisha tha, Farzand-e-Islam Allah Subhan-o-Ta’ala ke naam ki sarbulandi ke liye sargaram amal thay, Jidhar ka rukh karte Fath-o-Nusrat unke qadam choomti. Banu Mustalaq aik aisa qabila tha jise apni taqat par bada ghamand tha. Us ne chand dusre qaba’il se bhi gathjod kiya hua tha. Us qabile ka sardar Haris Bin Abi Zirar tha jise apni Aqal-o-Danish aur Quwwat-e-Baazu par bada naaz tha. Yeh taqat ke nashe mein aisa makhmur tha keh kisi ko khatir mein hi nahi lata tha.Uske haan aik bachi ne janam liya jiska naam Juweriya rakha gaya. Naaz-o-Naimat ke mahol mein pal kar jawan hui to Banu khuza’a ke aik ubharte huye jawan Musafe Bin Safwan se uski shadi kar di gayi. Shab-o-Roz, Aish-o-Ishrat se guzar rahe the. Har roz Roz-e-Eid aur har shab Shab-e-Barat dikhayi de rahe the.
Banu Mustalaq ne Islami riyasat ke paaya takht Madina Munawwarah ko maliya mait karne ke liye tayyari shuru kar di. Deegar qabail se raabta karke afraadi aur baroodi quwwat mein izaafa kiya. Jab iski ittila Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) tak pohanchi to aap ne Surat-e-Haal ka jayeza lene ke liye apne jaan nisaar sahabi Buraidah Bin Husaib رضي الله عنه ko bheja takeh sahi malumat ki raushni mein mansuba bandi ki jaaye. Yeh wahan unke ilaqe mein pohanche Banu Mustalaq ke sardar Haris Bin Abi Zirar aur deegar chand sar karda afraad se mulaqat ki. Qabaili jawanon ki chehel pehel aur jangi Saaz-o-Saman ki farawaani daikhi. Unke azaim malum kiye, Har aik ke Dil-o-Dimagh par ladai ka bhoot sawar tha.
Buraidah Bin Husaib رضي الله عنه ne wapis aa kar Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ko wahan ki Surat-e-Haal se agaah kiya. Unke khatarnaak azaim ki nishaan dahi ki, Jangi Saaz-o-Saman aur qabaili jawanon ki tayyari ki ittila di to Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) Yeh baat sun kar chaukas huye aur aap ne mujahideen ko tayyari ka hukm de diya. Daikhte hi daikhte saat sau afraad par mushtamil Lashkar-e-Islam rawaangi ke liye tayyar ho gaya. Us lashkar ki qiyadat Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne khud ki. Is jihaadi safar mein sayyidah Ayesha Siddiqa (رضی اللہ عنہا) hamraah thin, Isi safar mein wapsi par unke gale ka haar gum hua tha, Jiski talash mein lashkar se bichhadne ki bina par munafiqeen ke hath aik baat aa gayi jise khub uchala gaya, Madina Munawwarah ke mahaul mein aik irta’ash paida hua. Musalman gham ki tasweer bane huye dikhayi diye, Khud Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) intihaayi pareshaan thay, Hatta keh Allah Ta’ala ne Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa ki bariat mein asman se Ayaat nazil ki jinki tilawat musalman 14 sadiyon se kar rahe hai aur qayamat tak karte rahenge.
Rasool-e-Aqdas (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne Lashkar-e-Islam ki qiyadat karte huye 5 Hijri Maah-e-Shaban mein Banu Mustalaq ke aham tareen markazi maqam Muraisee par padao kiya. Yahan pani ka zakheera tha jise Banu Mustalaq peenay or deegar zaruriyat ke liye istimaal kiya karte the. Aapne use apne qabze mein le liya. Maidan-e-Jang mein paani ke maqam par qabza karna Rasool-e-Aqdas (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ki jangi Hikmat-e-Amali ka aik aham tareen hissa tha.
Banu Mustalaq ke Sardar Haris Bin Abi Zirar ko Lashkar-e-Islam ki achanak amaad ka pata chala to uske ausaan khata ho gaye. Uske dil par is qadar raub taari hua keh woh thar thar kanpne laga. Deegar qabaili jawanon ne uski yeh halat daikhi to woh bhi ghabra gaye aur Chashm-e-Zadan mein wahan se apni janein bachate huye bhaag gaye. Sardar Haris Bin Abi Zirar bhi khauf zada ho kar ruposh ho gaya, Lakin qabeela Banu Mustalaq ke afraad kham thok kar maidan mein nikal aaye. Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne unki taraf Islam qubool karne ka paigham bheja keh agar tum La‘ilaha ill‘lallah ka iqrar karte huye Daira-e-Islam mein dakhil ho jao to tumhe kuch nahi kaha jayega. Yeh sab kuch tumhari milkiyat mein rahega, tumhare Jaan-o-Maal mahfuz rahenge. Unho ney Islam qubool karne ke bajaye muqabla karne ka ailaan kar diya, Balke aik na-aqibat andaish ne teer chala diya jo aik mujahid ke jism mein paiwast ho gaya. Phir kya tha ladai bhadak uthi. Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne mujahideen ko saf bandi ka khayal rakhte huye yakbaargi hamla karne ka hukm diya. Dushman mein se kisi aik ko bhi maidan se bhagne ki mohlat na mili. Das afraad maut ke ghaat utaar diye gaye, Aur baaqi giraftaar kar liye gaye. Juweriya Bint-e-Haris ka khawand Musafe Bin Safwan bhi Maidan-e-Jang mein qatal hua. Taqreeban 700 afraad qaid kar liye gaye. Jin mein auratain bhi shamil thin, Iske ilawah do hazar uont aur paanch hazar bakriyan bhi Maal-e-Ghaneemat ke taur par hath lage.
Madina Munawwarah pohonch kar Maal-e-Ghaneemat ko mujahideen mein taqseem kar diya gaya. Mard aur auratain ghulaam aur kaneezon ki surat mein taqseem kar diye gaye. Juweriya Bint-e-Haris Mashhoor-o-Maroof sahabi Sabit Bin Qais Ansari ke hisse mein aayi. Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa (رضی اللہ عنہا) farmati hain keh jab main ne Juweriya ko daikha to uske Husn-o-Jamal aur chehre ki taro taazgi ko daikh kar dang rah gayi. Chunke usne Naaz-o-Naimat ke mahaul mein parwarish payi thi, Guftagu karne ka saleeqa use w
rsay mein mila tha. Woh mauqa pate hi Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur arz ki ya Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) apko malum hai keh main Sardar ki beti hun, Naaz-o-Naimat se pali hun ab halaat ki sitam zarefi ke sabab be Dast-o-Paa hun. Sunehri takht se gir kar Bistar-e-Khaak par aan padi hun. Meri azaadi ka muahada na uaqiya sone ki adaigi ki buniyad par Sabit Bin Qais Ansari ke sath kar diya gaya hai. Aap jante hain keh main itni badi raqam kaise ada kar sakti hun. Main yeh ghulami ki zindagi kyun kar guzar sakungi. Ya Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) mujh na-tawan, be-bas aur lachar par Nazar-e-Karam farmayein. Aapne uski gham mein doobi hui guftagu sun kar irshaad farmaya:
“Agar main Yeh raqam adaa karke tumhe ghulami se azad kar dun to kya mere haram mein aik azad khatoon ki surat mein aana pasand karogi?”
Yeh pesh kash uske Waham-o-Guman mein hi na thi. Apke zuban se yeh noorani kalimaat sunte hi Wufor-e-Shauq se kaha: Mujhe aur kya chahiye Ya Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) main raazi hun, Mujhe yeh pesh kash ba-khushi qubool hai. Aap ne use azad kiya aur shaadi kar li. Jab deegar mujahideen ne suna ki Juweriya Bint-e-Haris ne Umm-ul-Mumineen banne ka aizaaz hasil kar liya hai to Banu Mustalaq qabile ke tamaam ghulaam aur kaneez azaad kar diye. Is tarah Umm-ul-Mumineen Juweriya Bint-e-Haris (رضی اللہ عنہا) apni qaum ke liye barkat ka baais ban gayin. Unki wajah se tamaam ko azadi hasil hui.
Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Juweriya Bint-e-Haris (رضی اللہ عنہا) ko daikhte hi Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa (رضی اللہ عنہا) ne unki tareef kartey huye irshad farmaya:
کانت حلوۃ ملاحۃ
“Woh khubsurat or pari chehra thi.”
Yeh Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Juweriya Bint-e-Haris (رضی اللہ عنہا) ki Faham-o-Farasat thi keh khamoshi ikhtiyar karne ki bajaye jurrat ka muzahara karte huye Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ki khidmat mein pohanch kar barjista apni pareshan haali ka izhar kar diya jis ke natije mein unhe Umm-ul-Mumineen banne ka aizaaz hasil hua aur apni qaum ke tamam afraad ko azadi dilane ka bais ban gayin. Hazrat Ayesha (رضی اللہ عنھا ) ne aik baar is Azeem-ul-Martabat khatoon ka tazkirah karte huye irshad farmaya:
فما راینا امراۃ اعظم برکۃ علی قومھا منھا فلقد اعتق اللہ تعالی بھا مائۃ اہل بیت من بنی المصطلق
“Humne koi khatoon is se badh kar apni qaum ke liye Bais-e-Barkat na daikhi. Allah Ta’ala ne uske zariye Banu Mustalaq ke sainkdon Afraad-e-Khana ko azadi aata ki.”
Haram-e-Nabwi mein dakhil hone se pehle Hazrat Juweriya ka naam Barrah tha. Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne uska naam badal kar Juweriya rakha. Jaisa keh Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Zainab Bint-e-Jahash, Umm-ul-Mumineen Mainmoona Bint-e-Haris aur Zainab Bint-e-Abu Salimah ke naam bhi Barrah hi the. Yeh naye naam Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne rakhay. Imam Baihaqi ne apni kitaab Dalail-un-Nubuwwah mein Yeh riwaayat naqal ki hai.
عن ام المؤمنین جویریۃ رضی اللہ عنھا قالت رایت قبل قدوم النبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بثلاث لیال کان القمر یسیر من یثرب حتی وقع فی حجری فکرہت ان لا اخبر احدا فلما سبینا رجوت الرؤیا فاعتقنی و تزوجنی
Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Juweriya se marwi hai, farmati hain keh : “Mein ney Nabi Aqdas (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ki aamad se teen raatein pehle khwab mein daikha keh chand Yasrab ki jaanib se chalta hua aaya aur meri god mein gir gaya. Mein ney yeh khwab kisi ko batana pasand nahi kiya. Jab ham giraftaar huye to mein ney khwab ke pura hone ki umeed ki to aapne mujhe azad kiya aur mere sath shaadi kar li.”
Allamah Zahabi apni kitab Siar-o-Aalm-al-Nubalaa mein raqamtraz hain:
قالت تزوجنی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وانا بنت عشرین سنۃ
“Farmati hain keh Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne mere sath shaadi ki jabkeh meri Umar 20 saal thi.”
Allamah Zahabi ne apni kitab Siar-o-Aalam-al-Nubalaa mein yeh bhi likha hai:
کانت من اجمل النساء
“Juweriya Bint-e-Haris bhut khubsurat khatoon thin.”
Kuch arse baad unka baap Haris Bin Abi Zirar apne qabile ke un tamam afraad ke sath jinhe uski beti Juweriya ke Umm-ul-Mumineen banne ke sabab azad kar diya gaya tha, Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur yeh sab log Daara-e-Islam mein dakhil ho gaye. Is tarah Hazrat Juweriya ko yeh dusra aizaaz hasil hua.
Pehla aizaaz yeh tha keh unke sabab qaum ke afraad azaad huye aur dusra yeh keh Islam qubool karne ki saa’dat naseeb hui.
Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Juweriya Bint-e-Haris (رضی اللہ عنہا) aksar auqat ibadat aur Zikar-e-Ilaahi mein masroof rahtin. Unho ney apne ghar mein aik jagah ibadat ke liye makhsus kar rakhi thi. Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne use wahan subah ke waqt Zikar-e-Ilaahi mein munhamik baithe daikha. Aap dopahar ko tashref laye to usi tarah muraqabe mein baithi thin. Aapne pucha kya subah se isi halat mein baithi ho?
Kaha: Haan ya Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)
Aap ne farmaya: Kya main tujhe chand kalimat sikhlaun woh tum keh liya karo woh tumhare liye kafi honge, Woh kalimat yeh hain:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ Teen martaba
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رِضَا نَفْسِهِ Teen martaba
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ Teen martaba
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ Teen martaba
Muslim Shareef aur Abu Dawud mein Hazrat Juweriya (رضی اللہ عنہا) ke hawale se marwi hai.
قالت اتی علی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فقال لقد قلت بعدک اربع کلمات ثلاث مرات لو وزنت بما قلت منذ الیوم لوزنتھن سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
Farmaya keh mere paas Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) tashreef laye aur irshad farmaya: Tere baad mein ney 4 kalimat teen teen martaba kahe. Agar unko tarazu mein taula jaye to jo kuch tune din bhar mein padha hai unse sawab mein bhari ho jayen aur woh yeh hain:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
Tabqaat Ibn-e-Saad mein mazkur hai keh Rasoolullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ne Ghazwa-e-Khayber ke Maal-e-Ghaneemat mein se Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Juweriya Bint-e-Haris ko 80 wasak khajoor aur 20 wasak jau ataa kiye.
Rasool-e-Aqdas (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ke is duniya se kooch kar jane ke baad Khalifa-e-Awwal Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddiq رضي الله عنه tamam Azwaaj-e-Mutaharrat ke akhrajat ke liye barabar raqam faraham kiya karte the. Hazrat Umar Bin Khattab رضي الله عنه ne Azwaaj-e-Mutaharrat ka wazifa 12 Hazar dirham muqarrar kar diya. Laikin Umm-ul-Mumineen Juweriya Bint-e-Haris aur Umm-ul- Mumineen Safia Bint-e-Huyai ka wazifa 6-6 Hazar dirham muqarrar kiya gaya. Dono ne yeh wazifa lene se inkar kar diya. Hazrat Umar Bin Khattab رضي الله عنه ne kaha mein ney deegar Azwaaj-e-Mutaharrat ka do guna wazifa unki hijrat ki bina par muqarrar kiya hai. Dono ne kaha nahi aapne unke Martaba-o-Maqaam ko hum se tarjeeh dete huye aisa kiya hai.
Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Ayesha (رضی اللہ عنہا) ne farmaya: Rasool-e-Aqdas (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) hum mein har cheez barabar taqseem kiya karte the, Yeh baat sun kar Ameer-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Umar Bin Khattab ne sab Azwaaj-e-Mutaharrat ka wazifa barabar 12 hazar dirham muqarrar kar diya.
Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Juweriya Bint-e-Haris (رضی اللہ عنہا) ne 70 saal ki Umar mein 50 Hijri Maah-e-Rabiul Awwal ko Ameer Muawiya Bin Abu Sufiyan ke Daur-e-Hukumat mein wafat payi. Madina ke gowernor Marwaan Bin Hakam ne Namaz-e-Janaza padhai aur unhe Jannat-ul-Baqi mein dafan kiya gaya.

JUWAYRIYYAH BINT HARITH
The Woman who Brought the Greatest Blessing upon Her People
She was the Mother of the Believers: Juwayriyyah bint AlHarith bin Abu Dharar Al-Mustaliqiyyah. She was captured in the Battle of Al-Muraysi’ in the fifth year of hijrah. Her name originally was “Barrah” but the Prophet ﷺ changed it to Juwayriyyah. She was one of the illustrious women.
‘A’ishah related: “Juwayriyyah, daughter of Al-Harith bin Al-Mustaliq, fell to the lot of Thabit bin Qays bin Shammas, or to her cousin. She entered into an agreement to purchase her freedom. She was a very beautiful woman, most attractive to the eye.” ‘A’ishah said: “She then came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asking him for the purchase of her freedom. When she was standing at the door, I looked at her with disapproval. I realized that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would look at her in the same way that I had looked. She said: Messenger of Allah, ‘I am Juwayriyyah, daughter of Al-Harith, and something has happened to me, which is not hidden from you. I have fallen to the lot of Thabit bin Qays bin Shammas, and I have entered into an agreement for the purchase of my freedom. I have come to you to seek assistance for the purchase of my freedom.’ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Are you inclined to that which is better?’ She asked: ‘What is that, Messenger of Allah?’ He replied: ‘ I shall pay the price of your freedom on your behalf, and I shall marry you.’ She said: ‘I shall do this.’ She (‘A’ishah) said: ‘The people then heard that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had married Juwayriyyah. They released the captives in their possession and set them free, and said: ‘They are the relatives of the Messenger of Allah by marriage.’ One hundred families of Banu Al-Mustaliq were set free on account of her. We did not see any woman greater than Juwayriyyah who brought blessings to her people.”
When Banu Mustaliq witnessed the elevation, amnesty and honor that had been brought upon them, they all accepted Islam with a firm belief in Allah and His Messenger.
Clearly, the ultimate interest of the Prophet ﷺ was the success and spread of his call amongst men. Such impeccable wisdom and deep thought was unprecedented amongst the most acclaimed wise men. None other than the Messenger could come up with such deep thought and great wisdom which made foreheads bow to Allah who taught him what he did not know.
Ibn Hajar also mentioned (in Al-Isabah 2/160): that her father, Al-Harith came to the Prophet ﷺ and accepted Islam as well.
The Messenger Taught Her Words With Comprehensive Meaning
Juwayriyyah reported that the Prophet ﷺ left her apartment in the morning as she was busy observing her dawn prayer in her place of worship. He came back in the forenoon and she was still sitting there. The Prophet ﷺ said: “You have been in the same place since I left you?” She said, “Yes.” Thereupon the Prophet ﷺ said: “I recited four words three times after I left you and if these were to be weighed against what you have recited since morning these would outweigh them, and these words are:
“Subhauallah wa bilwmdihi ‘adada khalqihi wa rida’ nafsihi wa zinata ‘arshihi wa midada kalimatihi”
(Glory be to Allah and praise is due to Him to the extent of the number of His creation and to the extent of His pleasure and to the extent of the weight of His Throne and to the extent of ink used in recording words for His Praise).”‘
Her Death
After her noble soul concluded its blessed sojourn under the banner of Islam, she died in the year 50 AH. May her pure soul find rest and tranquillity in nearness of her Lord.
