13. Jabal Uhad [Mount Uhud]

Ohad pahaad aik bada pahaad hai jo Madinah Munawwarah ki shumali janib waqe hai aur Masjid-e-Nabwi se sadhay paanch kilo meter door hai. Lekin aaj kal Madinah Munawwarah ki aabaadi is pahaad tak pahonch chuki hai balkay is ke ird gird phail hui hai. Uhad pahaad bil ittifaaq Haram mein daakhil hai kyunkay shumaal ki jaanib se Haram ki had “saur pahaad” hai aur yeh pahaad Uhad ke peechay shumali janib waqe hai. Uhad pahaad ki lambai mashriq se maghrib ki janib taqreban chay kilo meter hai aur is ka rang surkhi maail hai. Rasool Allah (ﷺ) ne Uhad ki fazelat ke baray mein irshad farmaya:
ھذا ﺟﺑل ﯾﺣﺑﻧﺎ وﻧﺣﺑﮫ
“Yeh aisa pahaad hai jo Hum se muhabbat karta hai aur Hum is se muhabbat karte hain.”

Uhad ke Aap se muhabbat karne ka matlab yeh bayan kiya gaya hai keh safar se wapsi ke waqt jab pahad Nabi (ﷺ) ko daikhta tha to Aap ki mulaqaat ke shoq se phola na samata tha. Zahir hai muhib aisay hi karta hai .
Baaz Ulama ne kaha hai keh haqeeqatan is mein muhabbat rakh di gai thi jaisay Syedna Dawud ( ﻋﻠﯾہ اﻟﺳﻼم ) ke saath tasbeeh karne walay pahadon mein tasbeeh rakh di gai thi ya jaisay baaz patharon mein Allah ka dar rakh diya gaya hai.
Sahih Hadees se sabit hai keh Nabi Kareem (ﷺ) Uhad pahad par chadh. Hazrat Anas bin Maalik (رﺿﯽ ﷲ ﻋﻧہ ) bayan farmatay hain keh Nabi Kareem (ﷺ) Uhad pahad par chadhe, Aap ke saath Hazraat Abbu Bakar, ‘Umar aur ‘Usmaan (رﺿﯽ ﷲ ﻋﻧﮩم ) bhi thay, pahaad hilnay laga. Aap ne farmaaya:
“Uhad! pur sukoon ho ja, tujh par aik Nabi, aik saddiq aur do Shaheed hain.”

Ohad pahaad hi ke paas woh afsosnaak waaqia ronuma hua tha jis mein Nabi Kareem (ﷺ) ke chacha Syedna Hamza (رﺿﯽ ﷲ ﻋﻧہ ) aur sattar dusray Musalman Shaheed hue thay. Rasool Allah (ﷺ) ka rubaa’ie daant toot gaya tha, Aap ka chehra-e-anwar zakhmi hua tha aur Aap ke hont mubaarak par bhi zakham aaya tha. Haqiqatann yeh badi musibat aur azmaish ka din tha. Yeh waaqia Rasool Allah (ﷺ) ki hijrat-e-mubaarikah se do saal nau mahinay saat din baad 3 h mein paish aaya.

Shuhdaye Uhad ki fazelat ke baray mein Sunan Abi Dawud aur Mustadrik Kaakim ki aik sahih Hadees hai keh Nabi (ﷺ) ne farmaya:
Jab Uhad ke maqam par tumharay bhai Shaheed hue to Allah Taala ne unki roohein sabz parindon mein daal deen. Woh jannat ke daryaon par pani petay hain, jannat ke phal khatay aur arsh ke saye talay nikalti hui sonay ki qandilon mein panah hasil karte hain. Jab unhon ne aisa behtareen khana pina aur araam paya to kehnay lage:
Kon hamaray zindah bhaiyon ko hamaray baray mein yeh baat pohanchaye ga keh hum jannat mein zinda hain hamein khana pina muhayya kiya jaata hai taake woh Jihad se be tojeehi na karein aur jung mein susti na karein.
✦ Allah Taala ne farmaya:
Tumhari taraf se yeh peghaam Main un ko pohancha deta hoon.
Phir Allah Taala ne yeh Ayat nazil farmai:
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتًۢا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
“Jo log Allah ki raah mein Shaheed ho jaein unhein faut shuda na samjho.”
[Surah Aal-e-Imran: 169, Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadees: 252, Mustadrik Hakim: 297/2]
✦ Sahih Bukhari mein Hadees hai:
“Raoolullah (ﷺ) ne aath saal ke baad Uhad ke Shuhada ke liye youn lhaah-o-tazra’ se dua farmai jaisay alvida keh rahay hon, phir minbar par tashreef farma hue aur farmaya:
“Main tum se pehlay ja raha hoon, Main tumharay haq mein gawahi doon ga. Tum se mulaqaat hoz-e-( kausar) par hogi.”
[Sahih Bukhari, Hadees: 4042]
Uhad ki janobi janib Shuhada ki qabrein mojood hain aur sahih qaul ke mutabiq Shuhdaye Uhad ki tadaad 70 hai.

Mount Uhud
Mount Uhud is a mountain situated in the north of Al- Madinah Al-Munawwarah and it is five and a half kilometers away from the Noble Prophet’s Mosque, but the boundaries of Al-Madinah today adjoin it and surround it on all sides; and it is inside the inviolable area of Al-Madinah according to the consensus of all, because the boundary of the Sacred Place to the north is Mount Thawr, which is behind Mount Uhud to the north. The color of the mountain is inclined towards red.
Regarding the virtue of Uhud, Allah’s Messenger(ﷺ) said:
أُحُدٌ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَيُحِبُّهُ”
“Uhud is a mountain which loves us and we love it.”[159]
And it has also been reported with good Isnad[160] that Abu Qilabah(رضي الله عنه) narrated that when the Prophet (ﷺ)returned from a journey and Uhud appeared before him, he said:
“This is a mountain which loves us and we love it. (We are) returning, repenting, prostrating to our Lord and praising (Him).”
And regarding his words: “It loves us and we love it,” it was said that it was because he became happy when he saw it as he returned from his travels, due to the nearness of his family
and the prospect of meeting them and that is an action of love. And it was also said that its love is a reality, that love was placed in it, just as glorification (of Allah) was placed in the mountains that glorified (Him) with Dawud(علیہ السلام) and just as fear was placed in the rocks. And it has been confirmed from the Prophet(ﷺ) that he ascended Mount Uhud, for Anas bin
Malik(رضي الله عنه) informed us that the Prophet(ﷺ) ascended Uhud along with Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman(رضي الله عنهم) and it shook with them and he (ﷺ)said:
“Be firm, Uhud, for upon you are a Prophet, a Siddiq (i.e., Abu Bakr) and two martyrs.”[161]
And it was at Uhud that the terrible battle occurred in which Hamzah(رضي الله عنه), the uncle of the Prophet(ﷺ) was killed along with seventy of the Muslims and the incisor of Allah’s Messenger(ﷺ) was broken, his face was wounded and his lip was cut. And that was on a day of trial and testing which was two years, nine months and seven days after the migration of the Messenger(ﷺ) and that was in the third year after the Hijrah.[162]
And regarding the virtue of the martyrs of Uhud, Abu Dawud and Al-Hakim in his Sahih reported a Hadith in which the Prophet(ﷺ) said:
“When your brothers were struck at Uhud, Allah placed their souls inside green birds which fly over the rivers of Paradise, eating from its fruits and returning to golden nests suspended in the shade of the Throne and when they found the fineness of their food and drink and their abode, they said: ‘Who will tell our brothers about us, that we are alive in Paradise, being sustained, so that they do not renounce Jihad and recoil from war?” Allah the Most High said: ‘I will convey the news from you.’ – and so Allâh revealed:
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا
“Think not of those as dead who are killed in the way of Allah.” [Al-Imran 3:169]
And it has been reported in a Hadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari that Allah’s Messenger(ﷺ) prayed over the dead of Uhud after eight years, like on bidding farewell to the living and the dead, then he ascended the pulpit and said:
“Verily, I am your predecessor before you, and I am a witness over you, and your promised place to meet me will be Al-Haud (i.e., Al-Kawthar),[163]
And on the south side of Mount Uhud are the graves of the martyrs and they are seventy in number, according to what has been authentically reported.

*جبل اُحد*
اُحد پہاڑ ایک بڑا پہاڑ ہے جو مدینہ منورہ کی شمالی جانب واقع ہے اور مسجد نبوی سے ساڑھے پانچ کلومیٹر دور ہے۔ لیکن آج کل مدینہ منورہ کی آبادی اس پہاڑ تک پہنچ چکی ہے بلکہ اس کے ارد گرد پھیلی ہوئی ہے۔ اُحد پہاڑ بالا تفاق حرم میں داخل ہے کیونکہ شمال کی جانب سے حرم کی حد ”ثور پہاڑ“ ہے اور یہ پہاڑ اُحد کے پیچھے شمالی جانب واقع ہے۔ اُحد پہاڑ کی لمبائی مشرق سے مغرب کی جانب تقریباً چھ کلو میٹر ہے اور اس کا رنگ سرخی مائل ہے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اُحد کی فضیلت کے بارے میں ارشاد فرمایا:
هَذَا جَبَلْ تُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّه
”یہ ایسا پہاڑ ہے جو ہم سے محبت کرتا ہے اور ہم اس سے محبت کرتے ہیں۔“

اُحد کے آپ سے محبت کرنے کا مطلب یہ بیان کیا گیا ہے کہ سفر سے واپسی کے وقت جب پہاڑ نبی ﷺ کو دیکھتا تھا تو آپ کی ملاقات کے شوق سے پھولا نہ سماتا تھا۔ ظاہر ہے محب ایسے ہی کرتا ہے۔
بعض علماء نے کہا ہے کہ حقیقتاً اس میں محبت رکھ دی گئی تھی جیسے سیدنا داود علیہ السلام کے ساتھ تسبیح کرنے والے پہاڑوں میں تسبیح رکھ دی گئی تھی یا جیسے بعض پتھروں میں اللہ کا ڈر رکھ دیا گیا ہے۔
صحیح حدیث سے ثابت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ احد پہاڑ پر چڑھے۔ حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ احد پہاڑ پر چڑھے، آپ کے ساتھ حضرات ابوبکر عمر اور عثمان رضی اللہ عنہم بھی تھے، پہاڑ ہلنے لگا۔ آپ نے فرمایا:
”اُحد! پر سکون ہو جا، تجھ پر ایک نبی، ایک صدیق اور دو شہید ہیں۔“

احد پہاڑ ہی کے پاس وہ افسوسناک واقعہ رونما ہوا تھا جس میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے چچا سیدنا
حمزہ رضی اللہ عنہ اور ستر دوسرے مسلمان شہید ہوئے تھے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ کا رباعی دانت ٹوٹ گیا تھا، آپ کا چہرۂ انور زخمی ہوا تھا اور آپ کے ہونٹ مبارک پر بھی زخم آیا تھا۔ حقیقتاً یہ بڑی مصیبت اور آزمائش کا دن تھا۔ یہ واقعہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی ہجرت مبارکہ سے دو سال نو مہینے سات دن بعد 3ھ میں پیش آیا۔

شہدائے احد کی فضیلت کے بارے میں سنن ابی داود اور مستدرک حاکم کی ایک صحیح حدیث ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا:
”جب اُحد کے مقام پر تمہارے بھائی شہید ہوئے تو اللہ تعالٰی نے انکی روحیں سبز پرندوں میں ڈال دیں۔ وہ جنت کے دریاؤں پر پانی پیتے ہیں، جنت کے پھل کھاتے اور عرش کے سائے تلے لٹکتی ہوئی سونے کی قندیلوں میں پناہ حاصل کرتے ہیں۔ جب انھوں نے ایسا بہترین کھانا پینا اور آرام پایا تو کہنے لگے:
کون ہمارے زندہ بھائیوں کو ہمارے بارے میں یہ بات پہنچائے گا کہ ہم جنت میں زندہ ہیں ہمیں کھانا پینا مہیا کیا جاتا ہے، تاکہ وہ جہاد سے بے تو جہی نہ کریں اور جنگ میں سستی نہ کریں۔
اللہ تعالٰی نے فرمایا:
تمہاری طرف سے یہ پیغام میں ان کو پہنچا دیتا ہوں۔ پھر اللہ تعالٰی نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی:
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا
”جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں شہید ہو جائیں انھیں فوت شدہ نہ سمجھو۔“
(سورة آل عمران : 169، سنن ابی داود حدیث 2520، مستدرك حاكم: 297/2)
صحیح بخاری میں حدیث ہے:
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے آٹھ سال کے بعد اُحد کے شہداء کے لیے یوں الحاح و تضرع
سے دعا فرمائی جیسے الوداع کہہ رہے ہوں، پھر منبر پر تشریف فرما ہوئے اور فرمایا:
”میں تم سے پہلے جا رہا ہوں، میں تمہارے حق میں گواہی دوں گا۔ تم سے ملاقات حوض (کوثر) پر ہوگی۔“

احد کی جنوبی جانب شہداء کی قبریں موجود ہیں اور صیح قول کے مطابق شہدائے احد کی تعداد 70
