09. Sunnah Hijamah points

Hijamah ke Maqamat jo Sunnat mein Mazkoor Hain

 

Sunnat mein riwayat hai ke Nabi ﷺ ne mukhtalif maqamat par Hijamah karwayi. Neeche diye gaye 5 maqamat un riwayaat mein khas taur par mazkoor hain.

 

Sar — الرأس [Yaquf]

 

Nabi ﷺ ne apne sar par Hijamah karwayi, aur ek riwayat mein khas taur par sar ke darmiyan Hijamah ka zikr hai.

Gardan ke Dono Taraf — الأخدعين [Akhdain]

 

Anas رضي الله عنه se riwayat hai ke Nabi ﷺ ne gardan ke dono taraf ki do ragoon par Hijamah karwayi.

 

Reference: Abu Dawud, 3860; al-Tirmidhi, 390; Ibn Majah, 3483.

Shaykh al-Albani رحمه الله ne Sahih Abi Dawud mein ise sahih qarar diya hai.

 

Gardan ka Neecha Hissa (between shoulders) — الكاهل [Kahil]

 

Isi riwayat mein Al-Kahil par Hijamah ka bhi zikr hai. Yeh gardan ke neeche aur upper back ka ilaqa hai dono kandhon kay darmiyaan.

Hip — الورك [Waraq]

 

Jabir رضي الله عنه se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah ﷺ ne apne hip par dard ki wajah se Hijamah karwayi.

Shaykh al-Albani رحمه الله ne Sahih Abi Dawud mein ise sahih qarar diya hai.

 

Paon ka Pichhla/Upar Wala Hissa — ظهر القدم [Al Qadoomi]

 

Anas رضي الله عنه se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah ﷺ ne apne paon ke pichhle/uper wale hisse par dard ki wajah se Hijamah karwayi, jab aap ﷺ ihram mein the.

Shaykh al-Albani رحمه الله ne Sahih al-Nasa’i mein ise sahih qarar diya hai.

Places of Hijamah Mentioned in the Sunnah

 

The Sunnah reports that the Prophet ﷺ had Hijamah performed at several locations. Five locations are specifically mentioned in the reports cited below.

 

The Head — الرأس [Yaqoof]

 

The Prophet ﷺ had Hijamah performed on his head, and one narration specifically mentions the middle of the head.

The Two Sides of the Neck — الأخدعين [Akhdain]

 

Anas رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet ﷺ had Hijamah performed on the two veins at the sides of the neck.

Classed as sahih by Shaykh al-Albani رحمه الله in Sahih Abi Dawud.

 

The Base of the Neck / Upper Back — الكاهل [Kaahil]

 

The same narration mentions Hijamah at al-Kahil, the area at the base of the neck/upper back.

The Hip — الورك [Waraq]

 

Jabir رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had Hijamah performed on his hip because of pain in that area.

Classed as sahih by Shaykh al-Albani رحمه الله in Sahih Abi Dawud.

 

The Back of the Foot — ظهر القدم [A l Qadoomi]

 

Anas رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had Hijamah performed on the back of his foot because of pain in that area, while he was in ihram.
