27. TAX WUSOOL KARNA [Tax Collecting]
TAX WUSOOL KARNA:
Yeh Allah ta’ala kay is farman mein dakhil hai:
إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَظْلِمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَيَبْغُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ۞
“Ilzam tou un logon par hai Jo logon par zulm karte hain aur Mulk mein Nahaq fasad karte hain, un logon kay lie dardnak azaab hoga”
Ash-Shura 42: 42
Tax wusool karna, zalimon ki bohot bari a’anat karne kay zumre mein aata hai balkeh woh fee nafsihi zulm hai kyun keh woh jis cheez ka Haq nahin rakhta, use hasil karta hai aur jis ka Haq nahin, use de deta hai, isi lie Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya:
“Tax wusool karne Wala jannat mein nahin jaega”
Aur Aap ﷺ ne farmaya:
“Tax wusool karne Wala jannat mein nahin jaega “
Aur yeh islie hai keh woh bandon kay mazalim ko tahaffuz faraham karta hai, Roz-e-Qayamat tax wusool karne wale kay pas woh Kahan se aega keh us ne logon ne jo kuch lia tha, use unhen wapas karde? Agar uski kuch naikian huin tou woh uski naikian lelenge aur yeh cheez Nabi ﷺ kay is farman mein dakhil hai
“Kia Tum jante ho, muflis kon hai?” Sahabah ne arz kia , Allah kay Rasul! Ham mein muflis woh shakhs hai jis kay pas dirham hon na maalo mata’ , aap ne farmaya: “Meri ummat ka muflis woh shakhs hai Jo namazo zakat aur roza wa Hajj (jese aa’mal) kay Sath Roz-e-Qayamat Allah kay huzoor paish hoga aur phir woh shakhs bhi paish ho jaega jisko us ne gaali di hogi, uska maal lia hoga, uski izzat par Daaka dala hoga, uski pitai ki hogi aur uska khoon bahaya hoga, tou phir us shakhs ki naikian le kar us (mazloom) ko dedi jaengi , aur us (dusre mazloom) ko uski naikian le kar di jaengi, agar us kay zimme huqooq ki adaaegi se pehle naikian khatam hogai tou un (haqdaaron) kay gunah le kar is shakhs par daal die jaenge aur phir use Jahannum raseed kar dia jaega” [1]
Us aurat ki Hadith mein hai jis ne rajam kay zarie apne aap ko Paak kia
“Us ne aisi taubah ki hai keh agar tax wusool karne Wala bhi aisi taubah kare tou use bhi bakhsh dia jae ya (farmaya) uski taubah bhi qubool ki jae”
Tax wusool karne Wala rahzan aur choron se mushabeh hai, tax wusool karne Wala, use likhne wala, us par gawah banne wala aur use pakarne wala khuwah woh fauji ho ya shaikh ya aage report dene wala gunah mein aur Haram khane mein sab barabar kay shareek hain
Aur Sahih sabit hai keh RasullAllah ﷺ ne farmaya:
“Haram se parwarish paane wala gosht jannat mein dakhil nahin hoga Jahannum uski ziada haqdar hai “
“السحت “
Har Haram cheez jiska zikar karna qabeeh ho aur usse aar wa sharmindgi lazim ati ho
Wahidi رحمه الله [1] ne Allah kay farman:
قُل لَّا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْخَبِيثُ وَٱلطَّيِّبُ
“Keh dijie keh khabees aur tayyab barabar nahin ho sakte”
Al-Ma’idah 5 : 100
Jabir رضي الله عنه se riwayat hai keh aik aadmi ne arz kia Allah kay Rasul! Main sharab ki tijarat kia karta tha, main ne uski Bai’ se maal jama kia hai, agar main us maal ko Allah ki ita’at mein iste’mal karun tou kia woh mujhe faida pohonchaega? Tou RasullAllah ﷺ ne farmaya:
“Agar tum ne use Hajj ya jihad ya sadqe mein kharch kar dia tou woh Allah kay han machar kay par barabar bhi nahin kyun keh Allah sirf pakeezah wa halal cheez hi qubool karta hai “
Allah ta’ala ne RasullAllah ﷺ kay farman ki tasdeeq kay lie yeh ayat nazil farmai:
[1] unhon ne apni Tafseer mein bila sanad zikar kia hai, as suyuti ne Al babul uqul fee asbabin nuzul mein za’eef sanad se riwayat kia hai
قُل لَّا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْخَبِيثُ وَٱلطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ ٱلْخَبِيثِ ۚ
“Keh dijie, napak aur Paak barabar nahin, agarcheh napak ki bohtat apko achi ma’lum ho”
Al-Ma’idah 5 : 100
Ataa aur Hasan رحمهم الله ne farmaya: tayyab aur khabees se halal aur Haram murad hai, ham Allah se afwo aafiat ka sawal karte hain
NASEEHAT:
Woh kahan hai jis ne pukhta aur mazboot qil’e ta’meer kie aur bara Bachao kia, bagaht Abad kie, pas us ne bohot se darakht lagae, apne lie izzato sharf ki kurdi nasab ki aur us par barajman hua, woh urooj ko pohoncha aur arz guzaron ko dekha, us ne apne Dil mein baqa ka guman kia lekin us ne apne nafs mein nakamo namurad guman kia, Allah ki Qasam! Lazzaton ko khatam kar dene wali (maut) ne use hila dia aur uchak lia, qeher kay Sath use ghore se utara masaaibo azmaish ki taraf use mutawajja kar dia tou use mita dia, use jahlo be izzati kay andheron mein chor dia, pas daana shakhs woh hai Jo apne ayyam ko yadgar banata hai, kyun keh anjam to achanak zahoor pazeer hota hai
تبني و تجمع والآثار تندرس
ونتأمل الليبث والأعمار تختلس
ذا اللب فكر فما في العيش من طمع
لابد ماينتهي امر و ينعكس
ابن الملوك وأبناء الملوك ومن
كانوا إذا الناس قاموا هيبة جلسوا
ومن سيوفهم في كل معترك
تخشی و دونهم الحجاب و الحرس
اضحكوا بمهلكة في وسط معركة
صرعی و صاروا يبطن الأرض و الطمسوا
وعمهم حدث و ضمهم جدث
باتوا فهم جثث في الرسم قد جسوا
كانهم قط ما كتوا وما خلقوا
ومات ذكرهم بين الورى ونسوا
والله لو عاينت عيناك ما صنعت
أيد البلا بهم والدود يقترس
“Tum ta’meer karte aur jama karte ho, jab keh nishanat mita die jate hain, Tum zinda rehne ki umeed rakhte ho jab keh umren uchak li jaengi”
“Aqalmand shakhs! Ghaur karo zindagi mein kia tama ‘ hai, Jo ma’amlah intiha ko pohonchta hai tou woh lazmi taur par ulat jata hai”
“Badshah aur badshahon ki aulad aur woh log Kahan hain? Keh jab log haibat se khare hote the aur woh Bethe hote the”
“Har ma’arke mein unki talwaron se dara jata tha, jab keh un kay aage hijab aur muhafiz hote the “
“Wasat ma’arke mein halakat par woh hanse, woh pichare gae, woh zameen kay andar chale gae aur mit gae”
“Umoomi hadsat ne unhen apni lapet mein lelia aur unhen qabron se ja milaya, unhon ne rat guzari tou woh rasmi taur par jismo lashe the Jo rok lie gae “
“Goya keh woh kabhi the hi nahin, aur na woh paida kie gae, makhlooq mein unka zikar khatam ho gaya aur woh bhula die gae”
“Allah ki Qasam! Agar tumhari ankhen un cheez ka mu’ainah karti Jo masaaib kay hathon ne un kay sath kia, aur keere cheer phar rahe hain”
“Woh albattah aise manzar ko dekhti Jo dilon ko ghamgeen kar degi, aur woh na pasandeedah aur hairan Kun manzar dekhti”
“Kitne hi taro taza chehre jinko dekhne wala hairan reh jata hai, un mein husun ki ronaq hai woh Kese mita die gae”
“Aur bari bari boseedah haddian Jin mein koi ramaq nahin, woh us kay lie baqi nahin rahengi jab keh woh nochi jati hain”
“Bolne wali zabanen jinko adab ne zeenat bakhshi ho, unki kia Shan thi keh gunghe pan ki afat ne unhen aib daar banaya”
” Aqalmand shakhs! Faisla kar, uski nadani tumhen baaz na rakhe, aur teri ankhon kay aansu thamenge nahin jab keh woh jaari kar die jaen”
NASEEHAT:
Ae woh shakhs! Jo har roz aik marhala kooch karta hai, aur uski kitab ne har cheez ka hatta keh raai kay daane ka bhi ahata kia hua hai, woh agah karne wale se nafa’ hasil nahin karta jab keh daraya Jana bilkul muttasil aur musalsal hai, woh naseh (Khair khuwah) ki taraf kaan nahin dharta halan keh us ne use ma’zool kia hai, uski zirhen phat chuki hain jab keh teer chalae ja chuke hain, noore hidayat tou zahir ho Chuka jab keh us ne use dekha na us par ghauro fikar kia jab keh woh tou baqa ki umeed karta tha, halan keh woh dekhen hai phir na uska Jo uski umeed karta hai, use deewangi kay josh kay Sath burhape kay ba’ad aibo nuqsan par rok lia gaya hai, jis tarah chaho hojao, hisabo zalzala tumhare samne hai, aur han Teri jild ko keeron ne zarur khana hai, jaza aur sawalo jawab ka yaqeen rakhne wale momin par ta’ajjub hai jo futooro ghuroor ka shikar hai, ae tujh par afsos hai kis ne tujhe da’wat di aur apni Manzil kho di aur tujhe halakat kay kinare tak pohoncha dia, Kash keh tu uski Manzil ko jaan le, pas tumhari Jo Umar baqi reh gai hai us mein jaldi kar aur apne maazi ko paane ki koshish kar, aur momin ki baqi Umar to qeemti jauhar hai.

Collecting Taxes¹
Allah says, {The blame is only against those who oppress men with wrongdoing and insolently transgress beyond bounds through the land, defying right and justice: for such there will be a chastisement grievous.}
(Ash-Shura: 42)
The tax collector is one of the closest supporters of the oppressors. Rather he may be of the oppressors.
He takes what is not lawful to him and gives it to those who do not deserve it. Hence, the Prophet declared,
“The tax collector will not tread Paradise.”²
Concerning the woman who has turned to Allah in repentance, as she had committed adultery, the Prophet said, “She has turned to Allah in repentance in such a manner that if observed by an unjust tax collector he would be forgiven or it would be accepted.”³
The unlawful tribute collector is compared to the high way robber. Moreover, the one who collects the tax, the one who serves as a witness to it, and the one who usurps it are all alike in being partners in this wrongdoing.
He also said, “No flesh fed by ill-gained property will be admitted to Paradise. But rather, it would be flying in Hell.”⁴
The ill-gotten property is the detestable wealth which puts its owner to shame, and is mentioned by Imam Al-Wahidi in his exegesis of Allah’s saying,
{Say! Never are the good and the bad alike.}
(Al-Ma’idah: 100)
Jabir related,
“A man came to the Prophet and said, “0 Allah’s Apostle! Wine was my trade business that fetched me much money. So, would that money benefit me if I employed it in Allah’s cause?” The Prophet replied, “If you were to spend it in performing Pilgrimage, in Allah’s way, or in alms-giving, it would avail you no benefit, for Allah is good and accepts only what is good”. In confirmation to this Allah revealed, {Say! “Not equal are things that are bad and things that are good, even though the abundance of the bad may dazzle you.}
(Al-Ma’idah:100)”⁵
