46. KAAHIN AUR NUJOOMI KI TASDEEQ KARNA [Beleiving Soothsayers & astrologers]

 Kaahin o Najoomi ki tasdeeq karna

 

Allah Taala ne farmaya:

 

وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْبَصَرَ وَٱلْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْـُٔولًا۞

 

“Aur jis baat ka tumhen ilm na ho us kay peeche na paro kyun keh kaan ankh aur dil un sab se baaz paras hogi.”

Al-Isra : 36

 

Al Wahidi ne Allah T’ala kay is farman

وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ ۚ

Ki tafseer mein farmaya:

Al-Kalbi ne farmaya:

Jis cheez kay bare mein tumhen ilm na ho wo na kaho. Qatada رحمة الله ne farmaya: Aise na kaho’ main ne suna aur tum ne suna na ho main ne dekha jabkeh tum ne dekha na ho main janta hon keh jabkeh tum jante na ho aur is ka ma’ani ye hai keh kisi cheez kay bare laa ilmi se baat na karo.

 

إِنَّ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْبَصَرَ وَٱلْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْـُٔولًا۞

 

Al-Waabi ne Ibne Abbas رحمة الله se riwayat karte hue farmaya: Allah bando se sawal karega keh unho ne un ko kahan aur kaise istemal kiya tha. Us mein is cheez ko dekhiye jis ka dekhna halal nahi is cheez ko sun’na jis ka sun’na haram hai aur aisi cheez ka irada karna jo keh jaaiz nahi kay bare mein zajro toubeekh hai.

Al-Isra: 36


Wallahu A’lam

 

Aur Allah T’ala ne farmaya:

 

عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِۦٓ أَحَدًا ۞إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدًا۞

 

“Wo Aalim-ul-Ghaib hai aur apne ghaibi uloom par kisi ko mut’tale nahi karta. Han apne kisi aise Rasool ko jis ko wo muntakhib kar le.”

Al-Jinn : 26-27

Ibne Jouzi رحمة الله ne farmaya: Aalim-ul-Ghaib wo Allah عز وجل وحده لا شريك hai’ wo apni badshahat mein Yakta hai us ka koi shareek nahi. Wo apne ghaib par kisi mut’tale nahi karta’ logon mein se koi bhi us ko nahi janta albatta apne kisi aise Rasool ko jis ko wo muntakhib kar le us ko mut’tale kar deta hai. Kyun keh Rasoolon kay sidq par daleel’ un ka ghaib ki khabaren batana hai. Ma’ani ye hai keh wo jis ko risalat kay liye mutabik kar leta hai us ko jis qadar chahta hai ghaib par mut’tale kar deta hai. Pas us mein is shakhs kay khilaf daleel hai jo ye zo’um rakhta hai keh nujoom (sitare’ nujoomi) ghaib par dalalat karte hain’ tou wo kafir hai. Aur Rasool Allah ﷺ ne farmaya:

“Jo shakhs kisi nujoomi ya kaahin kay pas aae aur wo jo kahe’ us ki tasdeeq kare’ tou us ne Muhammad ﷺ ki shari’at ka inkaar kar jo.” [Abu Dawood: 4/39; Tirmidhi: 135]

Zaid bin Khalid jehni رحمة الله bayan karte hain’ Rasool Allah ﷺ ne raat kay waqt hone wali barish kay ba’ad’ hamen subah ki Namaz parhai pas Ap farigh hue tou Ap ne logon ki taraf chehra Mubarak karte hue farmaya:

“Kia tum jante ho keh hamare Rabb ne kia farmaya hai?”

Sahaba ne arz kiya Allah aur us kay Rasool behtar jante hain. Farmaya:

“Mere bandon mein se subah kay waqt kuch mujh par Emaan le aae aur kuch ne kufur kiya pas jis ne kaha: Allah kay Fazl o Karam aur us ki Rehmat se ham par barish hoi hai tou ye wo hai jo mujh par Emaan laya aur kawakib ka inkaar kiya aur jis ne kaha ham par is wajah se barish hoi hai tou us ne mere sath kufur kiya aur kawakib par Emaan laya.” [ Bukhari: 836; Muslim: 71]

Ulma ne farmaya: agar kisi Musalman ne kaha: ham par is wajah se’ Barish hoi hai aur wo samajhta hai keh ((النوء)) hi Barish ka moujid o faail aur usse barsane wala hai tou bilashuba wo kafir murtad ho jata hai aur agar wo ye irada rakhta hai keh ye cheez nuzool barish ki alamat hai aur us alamat kay hote hue barish hoti hai lekin wo Allah kay fail o takhleeq se nazil hoti hai’ tou aisa nazariya rakhne wale ko kafir nahi kaha jaega. Us ki karahat kay bare mein ikhtilaaf hai aur mukhtar qoul ye hai keh Yeh makrooh hai kyun keh yeh kuffar kay alfaz mein se hai aur Hadith kay zahir se bhi yahi ma’lum hota hai.

RasullAllah ﷺ ne farmaya:

“Jo shakhs kisi kaahin kay pas aae aur woh jo kuch kahe yeh uski tasdeeq kare tou uski 40 roz ki namaz qubool nahin hoti” [Muslim: 2230]

Ummul momineen syeda Ayesha رضي الله عنها bayan karti hain logon ne RasullAllah ﷺ se kaahinon kay baare mein sawal kia tou aap ne farmaya: “woh kuch bhi nahin”

Unhon ne arz kia, Allah kay Rasul! Kia woh is tarah us tarah nahin kehta? Tou RasullAllah ﷺ ne farmaya: “yeh kalimah haq hai jisko jinn yad kar leta hai phir woh usko apne dost sathi kay kaan mein daal deta hai aur wo us kay sath 100 jhoot mila deta hai”

Ummul momineen syeda Ayesha رضي الله عنها bayan karti hain main ne RasullAllah ﷺ ko farmate hue suna: “farishte aasmane dunia par aate hain tou woh aasman mein faisla hone wale amar kay baare mein baat karte hain tou shaitan chori se us awaz ko sun leta hai, woh use sun kar kaahinon ki taraf ilqaa kar deta hai aur woh us kay sath apni taraf se 100 jhoot mila dete hain” [Bukhari]

Qabeesah bin abil khariq رضي الله عنه bayan karte hain main ne RasullAllah ﷺ ko farmate hue suna:

“العيافة الطيرة aur الطرق جبت hain”

“الطرق” daant
Ya’ani parinde ko dantna aur woh is tarah keh woh uski uraan se achi ya buri faal lete hain agar woh apni daaen janib ure tou usko baa’ise barkat wa sa’adat tasawwur karte hain aur agar baaen taraf urta hai tou use bura tasawwur karte, Abu Dawood رضي الله عنه ne farmaya:
العيافة lakeer khench kar faal lena

الطيرة acha ya bura shugoon lena

Al jauhiri ne farmaya: الجبت aisa kalimah hai jiska Sanam, kaahin, jadugar waghera par itlaaq hota hai

Ibne Abbas رضي الله عنهما bayan karte hain RasullAllah ﷺ ne farmaya:

“Jis shakhs ne ilme nujoom ka kuch hissa hasil kia tou us ne jaadu ka hissa hasil kia aur woh jis qadar ilme nujoom mein barhta jaega usi qadar jaadu mein barhta jaega” [Abu Dawood 3905]

Ali bin Abi Talib ne farmaya: kaahin jadugar hai aur jadugar kafir hai, pas ham Allah se dunia wa akhirat mein aafiato ismat ka sawal karte hain

*NASEEHAT:

Allah kay bandon! Apne talf hone se pehle apne salf kay baare mein ghauro fikar karo, apni qabron mein Jane se pehle apne umoor par Nazar daal lo, apni tehweel kay faut hone se pehle kooch ki tayari kar lo, sathi dost Bhai kahan hain? Aiwan pukhta wa mazboot karne wala kahan hai? Allah ki Qasam! Woh watnon se kooch kar gae, un kay kafan qabron mein Reza Reza hogae, un kay mutanabbeh wa aagah karne wale ne ehle ma’arifat ko zor daar awaz mein yeh paigham sunaya:

كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ۞

 

“Jo koi rooe zameen par hai fana hone wala hai”

Ar-Rahman : 26

Ahwal ne unhen ulat pulat kardia, woh raaton kay hathon mein khele , woh aulado amwal se ghafil ho gae, Chand raaton ba’ad un kay ahbab ne unhen bhula dia, woh matti se ja mile, woh amwal se duri ikhtiyar kar gae, agar un mein se kisi ko bolne ki ijazat dedi jae tou woh Yun kahe:

من رآنا فليحدث نفسه
انه وقف على قرب زوال
و صروف الدهر لا يبقى لها
ولما تأتي به صم الجبال
رب ركب قد أناخواحولنا
يشربون الخمر بالماء الزلال
والأباريق عليهم قدمت
وعتاق الخيل تردى بالجلال

 

“Jo shakhs hamen dekhe tou woh apne aap se bayan kare keh woh zawal kay kunwe par thehra hai”

“Hawadise zamana is par kuch rehem nahin khaenge, aur abhi is par Pahar jese masaaib nahin ae”

“Kuch musafiron ne hamare Aas pas parao dala hai, woh saaf thande sheeren Pani kay sath Sharab peete hain”

“Piyale aur jaam in par paish kie gae, aseel aur umdah nasal kay ghore apne jhol orhe hue the”

“Unhon ne bari aisho ishrat kay sath zamane ko Abad kia , un kay zamane ki Roshni wa chamak damak ka hona na-mumkin nahin tha”

“Phir woh zamane kay hathon mein khilona ban gae, zamana aadmion kay sath usi tarah karta hai”

Believing Fortunetellers and Astrologers

Allah, Most High says,{And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge, for surely the hearing, the sight, the learnt all of those shall be questioned of.}

(AI-Isra’: 36)

Elaborating on the above Ayah AI-Wahidi reported AI-Kalbi’s commentary that idle curiosity and undocumented reports are condemned. AI-Wahidi said, we should be called to accounted for the exercise of every faculty that has been given to us.

{He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make anyone acquainted with his secrets. Except a Messenger whom he has chosen.}

(AI-Jin: 26)

Thus, whoever believes that we can disclose the unseen guided by stars is an unbeliever.

The Prophet (pbuh) said,”Whoever goes to a psychic (`Arraf) or a fortuneteller and believes what he says disbelieves in what has been revealed to Muhammad.”¹

The Prophet (pbuh) said,”Allah, Most High says, “One of my servants reaches daybreak a believer, another an unbeliever. He who says,” we have received rain by Allah’s grace” is a believer in me and a disbeliever in planets. But he who says,” we have received rain by the effects of such and such a mansion of the moon” is an unbeliever in me and a believer in planets.”²

Scholars said, if someone thinks planets have an influence independent of the will of Allah, he is an unbeliever. But there is no harm to think that some is a sign of rain.

“Whoever goes to a psychic, asks him about something, and believes him, will not have his prayer accepted for forty days.”³

Aishah related that some people solicited from the holy Prophet (pbuh) in formation about soothsayers.

He said, ‘They are a humbug and nonsense. The companions asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Sometimes they foretell something which comes true.” The Prophet (pbuh) explained,

“This is something which Satan hears, by chance from the angels, and conveys to his colleagues. They mix a hundred falsehoods with it and tell it to people.”

`Aishah said that she heard the holy Prophet (pbuh) say, “The angels descend into the atmosphere with heavenly orders, talking about something that has been

decreed in heaven, and Satan over-hears this and thereafter communicates it to the soothsayers, who add a hundred falsehoods with it themselves (to convey to their clients).”¹

Qubaisa Ibn Al-Mukhariq said that he heard the Holy Prophet (pbuh) saying,

“Fortune telling, drawing lots or lives and flying birds to find good or bad omens from the direction of their flight, are all devilish practices.”²

 Ibn ‘Abbas relates that the holy Prophet (pbuh) said,

“A person who learns about astrology, it is as if he learns magic, and the more he learns this, the more he learns about magic.”³

May Allah save us from this in this world and the next.
