Imam Masdad bin Masrahad (رحمۃاللہ تعالیٰ)
Naam-o-Nasab
Abul Hasan Kuniyat, Musdad laqab aur Abdul Malik naam tha, nasab naama ye hai, Musdad bin Musrahad Ibn masarbal bin maasik bin haroo bin yazeed bin Shabeeb bin saleeb hin Malik bin Asad bin shareek.
Dusra nasab naama is tarah bayaan kiya jata hai: Musdad bin Musrahad masarbal bin magharbal bin mar’abal Ibn matarbal bin arnadal bin sarandal bin arnadal bin maasik bin mastoorad.
Allamah Sama’ani ne dono nasab naame naqal karke pehle ko sahih bataya.
Wiladat-o-khandaan
Nisbi talluq Arab ke mashhoor Qabeela Bano Asad se aur watan Basrah hai, Isi liye Asadi aur Basri kehlaate haiam, san wilaadat ki muarrikheen aur Ulamaye tabqaat ne koi tasreeh nahi ki hai, isliye uski ta’ayyun dushwaar hai, qayaas hai ki 155 Hijri ya ussay kuch pehle ya baad me paida huye honge.
Asaatzah wa Shuyukh
Unke baaz akaabir shuyookh ke naam ye hain:
Abul ahws, Abu Awanah Ismail bin uliyah, bazaam bin Umr, juraah bin maleeh, Jaafar bin Sulaiman, Bashar bin mufzal, juweriya Asma, Hammad bin Zaid, Humaid bin asood, Khalid bin Abdullah waasti, Abdullah bin Yahya bin Abi kaseer Abdul Wahid bin Ziyaad, Abdul waris bin Sayeed, Isa bin Younus, fazeel bin ayaaz, Qataan, Muhammad bin Jabir Sahmi, Mua’tmar bin Sulaiman, Mahdi bin Sulaiman, Mahdi bin maimoon, wakee’, hasheem, Yazeed bin zaree’ aur Yusuf bin maajsoon waghairah.
Talamizah
Baaz talamizah ke naam ye hain:
Ibrahim bin Yaqub Joozjaani, Abu Hatim Raazi, Abu khaleefa Jamji, Abu Zur’a Raazi, Ahmad bin madariya, Qazi bin madariya, Qazi Ismail bin Ishaaq,Hasan bin Ahmad karhaani, Hammaad bin Ishaaq, Muhammad bin Sayyad-o-nidaani, Muaaz bin masjid, Yaqub bin Shayba, Qazi Yusuf bin Yaqub waghairah.
Ayimma Sihah mein Imam Bukhari ne bilawaasta aur Imam Tirmidhi ne bilwaasta aur Imam Abu Dawood ne dono tareeqon par unse riwaayat ki hai.
Hadees mein Imtiyaz
Musdad bin Musrahad ke asaatzah wa talamizah ki azmat se khud unke maqam-o-martaba ka andazah hota hai, unka apne zamana ke akaabir Fazla, aur Basarah ke nihaayat mash hoor aur Jaleel ul Qadr muhaddiseen mein shumar hota hai.
Haafiza
Unka hafiza nihayat qwi tha, muhaddiseen mein vo “Al Hafiz” ke laqab se mash hoor thay, Ajli ka bayan hai ki unki yaad daasht itni achhi thi ke jab vo I’mla karane lagte to itni zyada hadeesein bayan karte ki ham log likhte likhte ghabra jaate thay, Zahabi ne الحافظ الحجة aur Ibn Imaad ne أحد الحافظ likha hai.
Saqaahat
Unki adaalat-o-saqaahat par Ulamaye fan ka ittefaq hai, Yahya bin Muayyen riwaayat karte hain ki Yahya bin Sayyad Qataan farmatey thay ki “Agar main Masdad se milta to zaroor unse hadeesein naqal-o-riwaayat karta, bilashuba wo uske ahal thay. Unka paaya nihaayat buland aur vo Siqah thay, Abu Hatim farmatey hain ki unki vo hadeesein jo Qataan Abdullah bin Umar ke waaste se riwaayat karte hain, dananeez ke maanind hain, Goya tum Rasulallah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) se unko sun rahe ho.
Imam Ahmad jaise buzurg Unki azmat-o-saqaahat ke madaah wa mu’atraf thay, unke shagird maimooni ka bayan hai ki unhone farmaya ki Masdad ki Allah maghfirat kare, kya hi umdah aur behtar Sheikh thay. Abu Zar’a farmatey hain ki Imam Ahmad ne mujhse kaha ki Masdad se jo hadeesein main bayaan karta hun wo sahih aur durust hain, isliye tumko unse tajaawuz nahi karna chahiye, Ibn Muayyan, Abu Hatim, Ibn Qalagh Ajli aur Mam Nasai waghairah Ayimma Jirah ne unki tauseeq ki hai aur Ibn Hibban ne saqaahat mein tazkarah kiya hai, Jaafar bin Usman ne Yahya bin Muayyen se daryaft kiya ki Basrah ke kis shakhs ki hadeesein likhi jayein to farmaaya Masdad se, laraib vo Siqah aur mustanad thay.
Wafaat
Ramzanul mubarak 228 Hijri mein jab ki budhay ho chuke thay inteqaal kiya.
Tasaneef
Unki tasneefaat mein sirf Musnad ka zikr milta hai, Allama Zahabi ne uske baaz hisson ka Sama’a kiya tha. Ye maqtoo’ wa mauqoof har qism ki riwaayaton ka majmua tha, Imam Daraqutni ne sabse pehli Musnad isi ko qarar diya hai aur Ibn A’di ka bayan hai ke Basrah mein Musnad likhne ka sharf sabse pehle Musdad hi ko hasil hua. Is Musnad ki ahmiyat iski qadaamat ki wajah se hai, tamam ashaab tarajim-o-fehrist ne iska zikr kiya hai isse bhi iski ahmiyat zahir hoti hai.
